Rating: ✨✨✨✨✨
Was I devastated by the ending of S2 and the news that Theo James wasn’t returning into the cast? Yes.
Did S2 make me completely forget why I was ever upset?
Also yes.
The perfectly paced drama, the charming characters, old and new, the period costuming, the beautiful town of Sanditon itself, I cannot recommend this show enough to my fellow Austen and Bridgerton fans.

Sanditon continues to baffle. 17 minutes in and already the hair situation is as dismal as ever, the costumes are as ill fitting, and we've had a man walking practically naked truth the streets and a couple of b girls just waltzing through the soldiers encampment.

Yesterday I finished rewatching season 1 of Sanditon with Mr Wifey because he’d never seen it, and I was reminded of a) how much I freaking loved Sidney Parker and b) how infuriated I was that his character gets dropped like that. 😩 Jane Austen would never!

As of today, after posting Greater Fires, I have officially surpassed 500,000 words on AO3. What does that mean? Celebration time!
