Sam is working a double that will keep her away from the apartment until around 4 or 5 the next morning, so she sends Prof to check in on everyone because lets be honest, Tara, Joker, Chad, and Mindy all left unsupervised for long periods of time isn't a good idea.
Prof agrees automatically, they love Sam, is best buddies with Joker, likes the twins, and hopes to get on better grounds with Tara and a group situation usually helps.
When Prof gets there the four are just hanging out laughing and having a good time but they made a mess of the apartment, Prof being the loveable, responsible, caring being they are decides to clean up and while they're in the kitchen they eat a brownie or two they find on a plate assuming Sam made them, because the text she sent Prof did say help yourself to the fridge and anythimg out while you're babysitting the dumbasses.
Prof got there around 11pm, but around 2 am Sam gets a SOS text from Profs number, she of course rushes home since she gets no response to her dozens of calls and texts, and when she gets there the five of them are all laying together in a cuddle puddle with Prof, Tara is cuddling Joker but she is touching Prof, so it counts.
Prof just looks at Sam completely heart broken and asks her if they're actually real because how can you know if you're real, space is never ending and time is an illusion and for all the world knows everyone could be part of an atom or they could be a thought or a dream of someone elses, just completely spiraling, and everyone else looks just as troubled.
Sam sees the empty plate now on the coffee table and quickly puts the pieces together and realizes that one of these fuckers brought pot brownies and now the five of them are higher than kites, and Prof with their big brain quickly became introspective, scientific, and philosophical, trying to figure out the meaning of life.
The couch fort and cuddle puddle was a bit confusing though, but Sam has a but of experience about spiraling while stoned, so she is able to quickly redirect the five, calm them down, and coax them out of the fort and put them to bed.
The next morning she asks about the couch fort and the cuddle puddle, and the response she gets is we needed something to protect us from everything until you got back, and if we weren't real we all wanted to be together and not be real together.
Sam is still defiantely frusterated about the situation but can't help but be a bit heart warmed that everyone was getting along, Tara did get closer with Prof, and that all 5 of them (even Joker unfortunately) think of her as their safe place.
Listen, but this is genuinely so sweet? Like, they all just need a safe space, and Sam is their safe space. Could you imagine how it makes her feel to fully realise that, even though Tara starts shit a lot, they all see Sam as a safe space? No, not a safe space, their one and only safe space? You just know she's over there practically bawling and climbing into the cuddle pile because "you're all a bunch of dumbasses" but they're her dumbasses

:(( genuine question though, do you think koreans actually know about the boycotts? im sure they know about the war itself and yes there are protests for it (but to be fair, protests in general are really common in korea), but as the boycott is mainly spread through the english-speaking side of social media, couldn’t it be that they just aren’t aware? like yes they are grown adults and they do have access to the internet, but if information on the boycotts/ those companies aren’t even spread on the korean-side of the internet, how are they expected to learn about it or educate themselves? of course if they’re supporting them knowingly then… :/ but it seems unfair to assume that koreans should definitely know about these boycotts, even if they do know about the war… wouldn’t it be better to give them benefit of doubt…?
the boycott exists in every language in all countries. if Italians know about it, koreans do too. you don't have to speak english to be aware of it. just because they're celebrities they don't deserve more benefit of the doubt or affection from me than any other person alive. doyoungs ig comments and bubble are invaded by people informing him of the boycott in all languages he can understand. all the people posing randomly with Starbucks cups (when they usually hide the labels - meaning they're probably paid to do so) are also invaded with comments informing them on the matter. Korean social media is invaded with information on the matter. koreans are suddenly aware of small issues such a insult left in the comments to be able to sue and yet they're suddenly unaware of something this big?
everyone is insulting the korean intelligence by assuming they're living in a bubble.
they're not children. they're not your friends. they're not your family. blind support makes no sense and any "attack" on the idols you love should not be a personal attack on you as a person and a fan.
you should like your idol because they're brave, wise, kind, and a source of inspiration. you should like an idol because they act right and are good. that's what an idol is. especially given their platform their actions are more impactful than mine or yours because they can impact a huge group of people.
you can do whatever you want to, no one is in your head and your home to know if you still like an idol or not but if your energy is now spent trying to understand an idol's pov and giving them the benefit of the doubt then you should put that energy into not being quiet about the Palestinians children murdered and people tortured, with no food to eat, no water, under constant bombing, being the victims of a GENOCIDE, whole the Israeli troops are feasting on FREE McDonald's in their tanks and posting it on social media boasting about how many people they killed that day

I was literally talking about this with someone a few minutes ago. Anon are you spying on our chat?!
In my opinion Dab is both of them, depending on the situation, cause they created him (rather than Evan who was like made by the game?). Like yesterday in the video Dab playing piano felt very Dan and Evan singing (badly) felt very Phil but in other moments aka Dab being very clumsy, he feels very Phil.
When it comes to the relationship dynamic tho, I think Dan is more Evan and Dab is more Phil somehow.

Expecting to meet once more with his one true rancher, he meets a ghost terrified of something he’s incapable of saying.
Or, a soulmate au where after Jimmy’s death Tango summons his ghost and ends up with a spectre of the man he loved. But, perhaps he’ll learn to move on before it’s too late.

I wonder when the writers decided Chase=House Foreman=Cuddy Cameron=Wilson, because I feel like it was originally kinda set up Foreman=House and Cameron a kind of Cuddy/Wilson fusion and Chase is just kinda there to be kinda an antagonist for the other 2 in the first few seasons and then it’s all got swapped around
mm i can see why you would think that and i thought it too originally but i think it was kind of foreshadowed since the beginning ngl. chase has always admired house and followed him around, laughed at his jokes, etc. he displays the same kind of lack of empathy that house pretends not to have. meanwhile foreman has argued with him when he's doing or saying something stupid and is always Tired and extremely professional and work-centered. sound familiar? and of course cameron and her empathy and the way she cares about patients and ethics and wants to fix people. i don't really see the cuddy part of her ngl -- all the conversations she's had with cuddy i feel only highlight their differences.

Hands down my favourite story is "we're already married".
It's my go to if I don't know what I want to read or if I'm having a bad day, this will automatically cheer me up every single time.
Oh wow that's a blast from the past on that one. I never thought that story would be so well liked, I really didn't, but you would be surprised at how many people still read that story. Every day I get email notifications on that one about kudos. It's probably my most kudosed fic which is a little mind blowing to me! I'm really glad that the story cheers you up! Okay, well, even if you might leave your job, a lot of other people won't. Because at the end of the day, you also need to live and be well in order to do ANYTHING at all to contribute into helping people who are suffering from this genocide, aka, have a paying job and work. You might not understand this, but no matter how deeply you feel about this issue, this is a universal truth. You can choose to validate your feelings over this, but the fact will still be the fact. That the world WILL still keep on living, and that it DOES NOT revolve solely around this matter. There are even worse things going on right now too which you don't even have any idea about, so to say that you feel disappointed that people think that the world doesn't revolve around this matter, would be the equivalent of disregarding the troubles faced by other People in favour of this one issue.
You still are completely justified in not wanting to engage with the doyoung fandom, but the claims you made on your last post were still too much. Sorry if you think that I'm being too harsh, but, you're opinions on this matter are a very one dimensional.
