So, for those who don't know, there is a phenomenon called Chemo Curls where, after your hair falls out due to the chemotherapy, sometimes when it grows back post-treatment, it will have a new significant curl pattern to it even if the patient didn't have curls before

I find it fascinating that Orym appears to have taken the Magic Initiate: Warlock feat with his level up. I think it's due to his deal with Nana Morri. I also think the subtext is that deal meant a lot more for Orym than a simple bargain he struck.

His single level 1 spell is clearly Hex. I wonder what his two cantrips are? Would he have gone for damage or utility? Or maybe both? I could see Orym enjoying Prestidigitation. I could also see him choosing Eldritch Blast just to give himself a long distance attack. He's pretty good at getting into range quick but sometimes, that's just not feasible.

I'm really curious to see where Liam is gonna take Orym and how the deal is gonna play out

if i were the kind of person to actually write things instead of just thinking and talking about writing things, i'd write a whole ass series of essays about the fun way ted lasso uses songs (specifically songs from musicals) in all the different ways that musical theatre does: as a look into the characters' internal thoughts and feelings and goals and worries (we've got some great "i am" songs and "i want" songs throughout the show), as an exploration of relationships, as exposition, as a vehicle for the plot, as conflict narrative, as emotional climax.

it's not just that ted lasso references musicals a lot, it's that ted lasso speaks the language of musical theatre in a really fun and dynamic way.

Okay I need to wax poetic on Liam's body language acting in this episode. Because hooo boy is Orym going through it.

In the beginning, you can see Orym trying so hard to keep it together, to keep pushing forward. He doesn't know where the rest of Bells Hells are, doesn't know if Keyleth is alive, doesn't know if the gods are even still around because Predathos might have been released, some random guy (and I wonder if Orym has thoughts as to who Vax is because he's heard things) came to protect Keyleth and got turned into a lens for the machine, and they failed in their goal of stopping Ludinous.

He finally can't hold it together and just plops down on his ass. You can see the pain and utter defeat on Liam's face, in the set of his shoulders, in the slump of his body in his chair. For once, Orym has no idea what to do, no suggestions for where to go.

Then, when they realize they all have to get out of there, Orym braces himself and goes into professional mode to try and find a way out. You can see Liam steel himself as Orym.

It's brilliant and heartbreaking acting and it's always a delight to see Liam embody his characters. Also, Orym is falling apart and no one is noticing. I need someone to hug the halfling, stat
