In this lighthearted episode, Geri returns to Austin with a special guest: Sadie Yoo, Hoyt Rawlin's daughter. Meeting her stirs up some old feelings of regret around Hoyt and his own past and Cordell has some difficultly accepting her into their family, especially as he senses some shady business around her. However, everyone else is more than willing to accept her into the fold, even Bonham. During the fundraising party for Walker Rescue, Sadie gives an outstanding performance, but Cordell notices a strange figure int he crowd. And it seems that all of Cordell's worst fears have come true when Sadie disappears with the money raised. But all is well as Sadie returned the money to the ranch and she and Cordell have a heart to heart over her dead father. Meanwhile, Trey and Cassie help uncover a shady wine forgery operation that caused problems for Ben's store and Trey comes to some realizations about his place here in Austin.

This is my thoughts anout s03e16.

Omg, Owen!?!? He is from LA? I was so curious about where this was going and did not expect this. Is that why his father left? The timeline is right. Holy fuck. Dad Judd. I love Grace. She is right, "get that woman on the phone." I do love that Judd didn't start shouting and stuff, he handled it pretty calmly. Is this a crossover? Fuck piers. First Chris and Buck, and now this. Yes, I know it's not the same one, but my point still stands. I love that he brought him to his dad. The relationships are so good and so fun. That sequence just made me happy. Yeah, dumbasses, it's the same father. They look so much alike. I get that why he is mad, I mean. Just at the universe. Oh no, why does he have to get injured? Don't panic he told you he was going to pass, you did it right, good job. Awww, I love their father-son relationship. Also, detective Carlos, please and thank you.   I love how they are building this relationship. Dad, awwwwwwww. Shut the fuck up. Grandpa to the rescue. This is going to make me cry. I am so thankful that they made him speak because I was afraid he wasn't going to. Also, I love Robert, he is so sweet. Their dad is right. You were a kid and you have no responsibility in this. Shut the fuck, I love Judd's dad. 

I loved this episode. How calm it was and how it really went deep. I love that they took the time to do it right. It did the storylines justice. It's a bit sad but also really sweet.
