For the weekend mini-event, how about Scepter 4 + Homra where "Imagine all your OCs trapped in IKEA together" and that is one funny idea :D

That is an absolutely hilarious idea, so thank you so much for sending it in! I hope you'll enjoy the headcanons!

So HOMRA's alphabet boys are at IKEA because Shouhei got a new apartment after his old one was infested with bedbugs, which, along with some serious mold and structural issues, meant that the building got condemned, and he now needs new furniture and what he couldn't find at a second-hand store, he plans on getting at IKEA because hell, he's cheap. He's only working part time jobs, after all. And the others just kind of tag along with him, because he was mentioning it at the bar. Kamamoto came along for IKEA's food court and Yata had nothing better to do that day. Even Anna's there, mostly because she needs a new lamp for her bedside table. Some certain people might have been goofing around with a ball and might have ended up throwing it into her room and breaking her alarm clock and her lamp. She doesn't much care about the alarm clock...but she really liked that lamp and hopes IKEA has something similar.

Scepter 4's Alphabet Boys are there carrying out errands for the higher up's and doing some of their own shopping. Munakata and Seri are much too busy to really do their own IKEA runs, even if it is stuff needed for the headquarters or the dorms, and Fushimi would probably rather die than ever set foot in an IKEA, let's be real. The task was initially trusted to Akiyama, Benzai, Fuse, and Kamo but Hidaka tagged along because an extra set of hands never hurts things, Andy thought the errands seemed fun, Enomoto had things he needed, and Goto just got finished reading a horror novel that was set in a renamed IKEA and wanted to go see if all IKEA's were haunted.

Goto is very disappointed in both the lack of ghosts and the lack of anything interesting.

Bandou and Enomoto end up getting into a shouting match in the Smart Home section of IKEA as they're both fans of different technology vis a vis smart homes, and what started off as a debate ended up becoming far more.

Chitose's taking a nap on one of the display couches, under the guise of 'researching the best sofa' for Shouhei. Dewa got bored with the whole IKEA run half-way through and is sitting opposite Chitose in a display chair and reading. He's really in love with the chair and probably even buys one to have as a reading chair in his apartment.

Kamamoto and Hidaka both end up in the food court...and they know each other. They know who the other is and they really should be fighting, they both know it but like...there's the meatballs and who can really fight a dude who's just trying to chill and eat his meatballs?

Kamo ends up helping Anna with her lamp shopping after he got her a lamp she'd been trying to reach on one of the high-up shelves. He ends up recommending her the one he'd buy his daughter and she feels too bad after hearing him say that that she buys it despite thinking it's ugly.

Yata actually ends up being the only one to actually seriously help Shouhei with his shopping, but he disappears when it comes time to put all the furniture together somehow. Benzai and Akiyama pass them a few times, but they both mostly just do their own thing and ignore the HOMRA boys, who never even notice them because they're not in uniform.

Eric and Fujishima have spent almost the entire time in the pet section, where Fujishima finds a lot of great deals for all the strays he feeds and takes care of. He leaves IKEA the happiest.

"We Met at a Anime Convention"

Just a silly drabble I wrote for myself - and to ramble about myself/my s/i in a way.

“We met at an anime convention, honestly.” The even and blank way that it was said caused my co-workers to look at me in confusion, amusement, and awe. One of them - Enomoto Tatsuya - let out a snort from his lips, covering his mouth and looking away.

Another - Akiyama Himori - seemed to deflate at this fact. Both were amusing to me.

“What?” I said, voice now getting quieter and more annoyed. “You all were talking about how we met the Captain after all.”

“Yeah,” Benzai Yujiro, who sat directly beside me in the bathing room, began. “But you’re like Fushimi in the fact that it makes too much sense that you just appeared.”

Furrowing my brows, I stared at Benzai for a second or two before looking at the others. In the midst of getting clean, the others simply nodded in agreement. Sighing, I rolled my eyes and went back to cleaning myself up.

“That makes no sense and you all know it,” I said, bitterly.

“Fushimi was taken from HOMRA - he clearly didn’t like it there. I, however, was content in being a convention artist.”

“Sure you were, Kawaguchi.” Kamo Ryuho said, across the room with a toilet around his waist; clearing leaving the conversation and room.

“And I was content in being in debt to my brother and a chef.”

Another grumble left my lips - low and full of annoyance - attempting to get myself clean before this whole thing could keep on. The others could tell, and one of them - Domyoji Andy, someone who was more similar to me than I’d like to admit - grinned from ear to ear, getting up and leaning against my shoulder.

“Admit it, Kawaguchi,” Domyohji poked my cheek, his wet skin sticking to mine in such an uncomfortable way. I wanted to squirm, to push him off —

But I didn’t, so I let him continue.

“You love it here, especially with the extra attention you get from the Captain.”

The grin remained on his features, and all I wanted to do was to push him aside and pour water over his still dry hair.

Is this how Fushimi felt whenever he was forced to socialize?

Why did I need to speak up about how I met the Captain. . .?

“I don’t see how any attention I may get from Munkata has to do with my enjoyment in our work?”

It was hard, keeping a dry and even tone - trying to pull a Fushimi without the trauma - my voice cracking awkwardly at the Captain’s name.

“I’m just saying, we met at an anime convention.”

I hated how the ones who remained were staring at me - waiting for more information on how, exactly, we met.

I squirmed in my spot, going to move from the stoll I sat at to the bath itself. If I was going to be forced to talk about my experiences with Munakata Reisi, I’m going to do it in the bath. Or, at least that’s what I decided to do.

“We met at an anime convention I was tabling at, my big brother told me to expect someone who ‘was serious and expecting too much’ to come to my table. So, I thought my big brother had hooked me up with someone, you know? Like a publisher —”

“ - He sure hooked you up, alright.”

Domoyohji joked, which resulted in me giving him a glare. It didn’t seem to phase him, in fact, he just. . . Decided to get into the bath besides me, fluttering his eyelashes as if I was telling him a bedtime story.

If he wasn’t someone I considered to be a friend, I would’ve just ignored him.

“So, I waited. It took me a while to realize that the Captain would be uniformed and just standing at my booth for fifteen minutes before he asked me if I wanted a job.”

To prove my point, I threw my arms up in the air - splashing Domoyohji who laughed, and causing the others to shake their heads and chuckle.

“I thought he wanted. . Like. . . A drawing of himself in his get-up or something, not being a part of a Special Police Force fighting and going after Strains?”

“I don’t think anyone expected to be a part of the Scepter Four, Kawaguchi.” Akiyama said, in the midst of drying his hair and getting ready to leave. “You’re just overthinking it, as perusal.”

“You’re overthinking this Akiyama!” I hollered out, before going to sink into the bath water more - hiding most of myself underneath the water.

Domoyohji patted the top of my head, trying not to laugh.

“I just. . . Met him at an anime convention is what I wanted to say.”

“Okay, Kawaguchi.”

I didn't break it. Doumyouji: Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken? Hidaka: Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken. Doumyouji: Suspicious. Hidaka: No it's not! Enomoto: If it matters, probably not, but Benzai was the last one to use it. Benzai: Liar! I don't even drink that crap! Enomoto: Oh really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier? Dad Rating of Old Scepter 4 (and Current Scepter 4)

It started with me noticing that 60% discovered members of old Scepter 4 are dad and daddy materials, then made this post for self-enjoyment. Grammar? Coherent thought? What is that?

1. Shiotsu : The legend, the holy, the Daddiest of all. Dad (control) to Habari and Zenjou, then to Minato twins (Friendly reminder that the age difference between Shiotsu and Zenjou is 10 years). Both pairings are definitely not the easiest children in the town. He’s the 5% impulse control that Habari and Zenjou had left. Actually responsible for clan matters while the King and the Knight were busy playing dog-chain BDSM. Participated in children of subordinate’s birthday when he coincidentally had free time, and brought them gift (almost give him minus for giving a pair of 12 years old catalog book but turns out he calculated the twins’ adoration for Habari and gave them gifts related to Habari Jin, so another plus point for him) Tried his best to handle bundle of angst headless chickens that is old Scepter 4 post Habari’s death (with varying degree of success but we know that he did his best). Bend backward and pleaded to (somewhat)rival clan to cover Minato twins’ asses. Approved Minato twins decision to find their own identity. Get along with Kusanagi and somehow managed to ‘dad’ him (That’s a HUGE achievement). He will be god-tier if he smiles a bit more since positive expression is important for kid’s growth but to be fair for him with Habari, Zenjou, and Minato twins as your children it will be hard to not scowl.

2. Domyouji's dad : from all canon crumbles that I’ve compiled on this meta about him, he's legit great dad. Protective? Check. Lenient with a good purpose? Check. Respect his son’s choice? Check. Has high opinion of his son? Check. Our precious Andy deserves no less.

3. Minato Hayatoshi : Good dad as far as I know, tried to adjust his scedule for his sons birthday and gave his sons nice fountain pens. Minus point for wanting to die with his wife although he has minors on his responsibility, but not his fault that old Scepter 4 are apparently infected with Romeo syndrome (case in point : Habari and Zenjou on Kagutsu incident. LET’S DIE TOGETHER FOR ROMANTIC ANGST AND DON’T GIVE A SHIT FOR THOSE WHO WAS LEFT BEHIND). Shiotsu detested the syndrome.

4. Kamo : Hard to judge him because we mostly know about his inability to meet his daughter properly (something about losing at child support struggle with his wife) than actual caring he had done to his daughter. But he managed to handle Domyouji (somewhat) fine, know basic of childcare and actually care for Fushimi’s diet so he’s a good dad I guess.

5. Zenjou : The dumb rambunctious reckless baby of the group (before Minato twins entered) but he's a good dad to Takeru, EFGH, and maybe Yayoi. Drink his Respect Woman Juice.

6. Munakata : Quite drastic downgrade on standard from above but Munakata actually care and quite know what he was doing about handling minors. Fushimi is the prime example, think positive on children, and he efficiently handled the power problem on baby in Days of Blue. Care for his niece and nephew dearly. Minus point for giving 6 years old “Pinnacle Code for Dummies” book, leaving baby alone in the hand of his ‘probably mostly virgin’ subordinates, and playing mind games with 16 years old traumatized Fushimi.

7. Seri-chan and Alphabet boys : Days of Blue chapter 2, enough said. Bunch of bishounen idiots who don't know how to handle a baby before it destroyed their whole room and knocked them in the head. Granted the said baby is superpowered but they're literally a trained squad to handle superpowered beings. A trained squad turned into fumbling mess while facing barely one year old baby. Using swords while babysitting, the said baby is superpowered but seriously? C+ for efforts.

8. Habari : As we know he has a very questionable taste at picking clansmen to collect but from Yukari's novel at least we know that his desire to adopt random dangerous lost children is as powerful as Munakata. Still, his handling on Yukari is definitely not a good dad behavior and he made a pair of 12 years old orphan clansmen in the upcoming big battle with Purgatory (maybe will change my opinion after we know the complete situation on Ground Zero novel). Blue King and their absurd taste of entertainment probably better stay away from kids (I don't make the rules, Kokujoji made them. And Ichigen).

Bonus :

Dunno where I should put Fushimi in the rank since based on his personality, he should not be capable at handling children (pessimist attitude, has no filter in his mouth, openly express that he dislikes children, etc) but somehow kids are latched on him for NO CLEAR REASON. But at least he was aware when a baby is hungry, let a kid sat on his lap and drool on his foot so I’ll maybe put him above alphabet boys.

Can I just say that men with babies are fucking hot as hell? (It’s funny cause I really, really dislike kids.) But yeah, I’m sorry if this turned out to be shit TuT

Akiyama had been thinking long and hard about this for months. Though you weren’t married, you both had made it clear to each other that you were in it for the long haul; it just wasn’t a necessity for you to be married. However, just because there wasn’t a ring in the equation, it didn’t mean that the dark-haired male hadn’t thought about having offspring with you. There was something about bringing a child into the world that pleased him, and he felt that it was time for the both of you to do so as well. The only thing was to ask you your thoughts on it.

That’s why, as he rung the doorbell to your apartment, he could feel his heart racing nervously in his chest. If you said no, he wasn’t really sure what he would do; raising a child with you felt right to him, and to think that you might not feel the same on the matter worried him. But he smiled when you opened the door for him and let him inside, placing a sweet kiss on your lips as he stepped through the threshold.

Just calm down, Himori.... Deep breaths... “So, you’re early~ Is there any reason why?”

The clansman snapped out of his thoughts and looked at your waiting gaze, giving you smile to compensate for his nerves.

“N-No... I-I mean yes! There is! Uhh... uhm....”

The male sighed to himself and sat down with you on the couch, taking your hands gently into his. Well, here goes...

“Babe, there’s been something on my mind lately... I... I think we should have a baby. We might not be married right now, but I know that we’re going to last, and.... and I want to raise a child with you... because I love you, and you’re wonderful and smart and loving... I don’t want any other woman to carry my child but you...”

He looked up into your eyes earnestly, hoping that you wouldn’t reject him and his proposal. Raising a child with you was all he could ever want.

Reisi Munakata was never one to worry too much over things; he always knew what he was doing, what he wanted to do, or to to formulate a plan to suit whatever needs he had. However, when you had approached your husband with the idea to finally start a family together, he had been taken by surprise. He knew that eventually he wanted to have children, but your exclamation had thrown him off, and he wasn’t quite sure what to do, so he had told you he had to think about it.

Is it too soon? If she became pregnant she would be all alone in that house most of the time, and doing it alone would surely be rough for her. She must know that...

The bluenette snapped out of his thoughts when he heard a knock on his office door. He granted them permission to enter, and sighed when he saw Seri walk in. She, however, instantly knew what was on his mind. “Are you still thinking about that?” The male looked at her and breathed out. “Yes. I don’t know what to do... Seri blinked and listened to her commander. “But do you want to?” “Do I want to ‘what’?” The woman sighed a little exasperatedly; surely it couldn’t be that hard... “Do you want a child with her? She’s your wife, and she told you she wanted a child. If you want one too then you should tell her.” The megane looked at his subordinate with surprise; he certainly hadn’t expected her to say this of all things. “But--” “Listen, if you really want this, the both of you will find a way to make it work out. You love each other. It shouldn’t matter what the circumstances are. If you want to raise a child, you’ll find a way to make it work. That’s part of what marriage is about...”

Reisi thought over her words; ultimately she was right. His work and position as a King shouldn’t be impeding his life. And if he was being honest with himself, he truly yearned for a child of his own... The man reached over to the phone that sat on his desk and picked it up, dialing your cell number. It ringed a couple times before he heard your gentle voice on the other end of the line.

“Reisi?” “Darling, about starting a family...”

Fushimi sighed frustratedly as he crumpled up the paper he had been writing on. If he couldn’t get it on the next try, he would have to do this in person, which he wasn’t sure if he could handle. It had been seven months since the two of you had gotten married, and he had found himself wanting children much sooner than he thought he would. He had never been the fatherly type to begin with, and he credited that to his own lousy father; still, he wanted to have his own children, despite the worry that he would mess them up like his old man did.

The megane took a breath as he pulled a clean sheet of paper from the printer, laying it in front of him and closing his eyes. It really shouldn’t be this difficult... He had to think about it a moment: this was you. He knew you would never judge him for anything, and that you loved him. Whatever your answer ended up being wouldn’t matter; the point was to get his feelings on the matter across. With that solidly in his mind, his hand began to write in clean, blunt cursive.

‘Love, I’m going to keep this short and to the point. I know that we’ve only been married a short time, but I feel like we should try to start having children. This probably comes as a shock to you, but I’ve thought it over, and there’s just no use in me trying to speculate my feelings on this. I know I may not be the perfect man, and I definitely won’t be a perfect father, but also know that I love you, and I want there to be proof that you and I existed as one being. Ugh, that probably makes no sense, but no matter what your answer is, I know that this is what I want, and I’ll wait as long as it takes to start this with you. I’ll see you tonight, my love. Saruhiko’

With his thoughts now put down on paper, he laid down the pen and made his way over to your bed with the paper in hand. He gently set the paper on his pillow before looking over at your sleeping face; it was so serene and peaceful, as if nothing in the world could bother you. He immediately wanted your children to have your sweet complexion. He smiled tenderly as he leaned over you, gently kissing your forehead before pulling on his uniform jacket, and heading out for the day.

Kamo couldn’t help but shift in place as he flipped the pancakes that were cooking away in the pan. Today was the day; it had been a long time coming after all. After the two years of dating and two years of marriage to you, he was finally interested in having another child. He was only slightly worried about what his ex-wife would think, but he was excited, seeing as his daughter could have a sibling to play with when they were both a bit older. He wasn’t even particularly worried about what you would think; he was almost certain that you would be happy about the idea. He just decided that breakfast in bed for you would help a bit.

Once they were finished, the male stacked the pancakes onto a plate, spreading some butter on the top and pouring maple syrup on them. Accompanied by juice and silverware, he brought the breakfast to your room, smiling as he saw you beginning to wake up from a well-rested night.

“Good morning, honey~ I’ve got something for you.”

He couldn’t help but chuckle as he watched you sit up with a smile on your face. “Awww, you did this for me? That’s sweet, baby, thank you~” Kamo set the tray on your lap gently, happily accepting the kiss you put on his lips. After sitting and leaning back against the headboard, he watched as you began to dig in, fidgeting with his thumbs slightly. This was it; he turned to you a bit more before cleaning his throat.

“Honey, there’s something I want to ask you.” “Sure, what’s up?”

The grey-eyed male took a breath. “I want to ask you... or rather tell you... I want to have a baby with you.” He could see the surprise on your face as you looked at him, but he continued.

“I mean, don’t you think maybe it’s about time we started at least trying? It’s been two years since we got married. I want to start a family with you. And I promise, I’d rub your feet whenever you wanted, I’d get you whatever you were craving. I’d do anything you asked of me. I would take the best care of you. And you wouldn’t have to worry about my daughter; she already loves you. I’m sure she would love having a little brother or sister~”

The man smiled a bit at the thought as he looked at you intently.

“So... what do you say?~”

How many uniforms do Seri and Fushimi go through? Like yeah your clothes will probably get ruined at some point in the line of duty, but watching Return of Kings Episode 1 where Seri's whole front of her uniform and part of her underwear was cut open makes me wonder what the reactions of her squadmates are. Like does she carry around extras just in case something like that happens?

I tend to take that scene with a pinch of salt - for one thing it doesn’t show Seri wearing a bra, and with knockers like that there’s really no way you’d get away with going braless in public. Especially seeing as Seri’s job requires her to be quite active. She’d just get knocked out by her own flailing boobs. Also, that scene seems to completely forget about the white shirt that Seri appears to wear beneath her coat which you can usually see the hem of (let’s face it who just wears a coat straight over nothing unless it’s 3am and you threw on clothes to go buy mcdonalds or smth. Any normal woman would at least wear a tank top underneath her jacket). Obviously the scene was envisioned by a man who probably has never spoken to a woman in his life, so yeah, big pinch of salt. If there was a scenario in which Seri’s uniform did split right open, I think words would be had with Reisi about ordering from a different supplier because the quality is obviously lacking. In terms of squad reactions, I think at least a couple of people would hurry to offer her their own jacket to cover herself with if they saw her like that (I think Kamo would definitely be among them). Hidaka would stare a little until someone told him off.

But in general, the clan as a whole probably do go through a lot of uniforms because they get damaged in the general line of duty - burned during altercations with Homra, cut or torn in other encounters, etc. I imagine Sceptre 4 carries spares in the support vans that seem to be present during a lot of missions, in case someone’s uniform gets wet or dirty or torn - Reisi seems like the kind of person who would think of this kind of thing and make sure nobody has to go home in a damaged or sodden uniform in case they caught a cold or w/e.

Just imagine Doumyouji freaking out the minute ‘Kamo’ walks over tohim and starts sparkling and calling him 'Doumyouji-kun.’ I feel likeKamo would feel a bit sheepish about the whole thing, like afterbeing hit by the Strain power here he is walking around in Captain’sbody and everyone keeps forgetting and treating him like he’s theKing and he feels a bit odd about the whole thing. He and Munakataagree that they don’t want to interrupt work at all and so Kamo goesback to his room like usual, except Doumyouji is immediately like 'Nomatter how you look at it it’s the Captain, isn’t it’ and Kamo has torepeat that no, he is not the Captain. The rest of the squad feelsvery self conscious about having Munakata’s body there with themthough, like Akiyama, Benzai, Kamo and Doumyouji all go to take abath together and as soon as Kamo takes his clothes off no one canlook at him because his body is sparkling so brightly. Benzai admitsthat he doesn’t know where to look and Akiyama’s just covering hisface all embarrassed because he can’t possibly look at Captain’s bodylike this.

Meanwhile Munakata is doing quite well in Kamo’s body, he remainsvery calm and dignified and Kamo’s a bit jealous that Munakatasomehow manages to show this kind of amazing dignity that Kamohimself can’t manage, like Captain’s atmosphere is too much. Thoughthen maybe shortly after the body swap Kamo’s busy and Doumyouji’shungry so he decides to ask Munakata to make him something, figuringthat the body must know about it right, like it’s a reflex right soCaptain should be able to handle it. Munakata is of course always upfor new experiences so he suggests that perhaps Doumyouji-kun canaccompany him to the kitchen and they will have a delicious snack.Doumyouji can only watch in horror as Munakata proceeds to make adisaster in the kitchen, like Munakata’s setting things on fire andstill smiling calmly, or mixing things together into a batter thatlooks like sludge and Doumyouji doesn’t understand how Captain can’tsee it, like surely Captain can tell that it’s inedible right, it’sdefinitely inedible. In the end he has no choice but to choke downthe snack Munakata made for him though, unable to disappoint whatlooks like an uncharacteristically hopeful Kamo. Later he comesrunning back to Kamo asking him to get his body back soon, Captainhas a really weird sense of taste and not in a good way.
