When it comes to Xbox games, it doesn’t get any bigger than Halo. The flagship game of the Xbox console redefined the FPS genre and is undoubtedly one of the most popular video game franchises of the modern era. Master Chief and his signature green armor is one of the most iconic characters of the gaming industry. Despite possibly being a rip-off of either Doom Guy or Samus, or maybe both.

However, the franchise hasn’t been doing so hot in the last couple of years, with Halo 5 solidifying the claim of many fans that the Halo series has fallen off since 343 Industries took over and is fast approaching a tragic space burial. But with the release of Halo infinite on 15th November 2021, Xbox nerds can rejoice once again as most gamers and critics agree that Infinite was a return to form for the ailing franchise. Which is more than can be said for the Halo TV series on Paramount plus, which garnered a butt lot of nerd rage with the weird Master Chief sex scene.

Is Halo Infinite really as good as everyone says it is or were gamers so desperate for a good Halo game, they would take whatever they could get their paws on? Would you learn semi-realistic racing game mechanics if a racing game was the conflict resolution mechanic of a Bioware-like RPG or an atmospheric exploration game with a story?

I am especially interested in the opinions of people who don't regularly play racing games, especially not those with semi-realistic or realistic physics.

Now for context: my immediately previous reblog has me wondering whether or not investing serious time or effort (I certainly don't have money, lmao) into one of my game concepts in the future is something I should seriously consider, or whether I should abandon hope for these altogether.

Racing games are notoriously creatively stagnant, and have been for a while. I've had thoughts about this percolating for a while, as I play (and have made mods for) a variety of racing games; I'm wondering whether I'm the only weirdo who thinks my ideas sound good, or if I'm onto something.

frankly i think the only issue with the casting is how many of them are zionists and the fact that theyre trying to make roland a comedic character played by kevin hart when hes supposed to be the straight man. like. come on. roland is the only even slightly normal one out of the first games vault hunters (i really dont care that much at the end of the day, thats just my main gripe besides the zionism)
