XOXO is a fictional South Korean girl group which currently consists of the four members: Aera, Jiyeon, Eunmi, and Yu. The group debuted on May 24, 2010 under Delphi Entertainment. They are mostly known for their diverse concept, giving all sides to ‘XOXO’.

XOXO debuted with the single “Darling” in May 2010. The group began promotions with their debut stage on May 27th at M! Countdown and continued promotions on various Korean music shows to June 20th.

The group returned a year later with the mini album “I Am Me” in June 2011. The album consists of four songs, including “I Don’t Need a Man” and “U-Go-Girl”, which XOXO promoted at the same time. “I Don’t Need a Man” gained XOXO quite a bit anti-fans, mainly men. They posted on Reddit about burning or cutting up pictures of XOXO’s faces and demanded apologies but there was no statement from Delphi Entertainment.

Though XOXO had gained some attention with their first comeback, it was not until their third comeback that the group rose to stardom. In March 2012, they came-back with their full album “Electric Love”. The album consists of nine songs, including “Mr. Chu”. The album peaked atop South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and has sold over 234,500 copies in South Korea. The album's title track peaked atop South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and was the second best-selling digital single of 2011 in the country, selling over 3.3 million copies. XOXO received a total of five wins on music shows this era.

For their third mini album, Jiyeon did not participate in the stages as she had injured her knee but was in the music video. She constantly supported XOXO’s stages, posting constantly on Twitter and Instagram.

XOXO made their Japanese debut in 2014 with the Japanese versions of their already existing songs. At this time, Eunmi took a hiatus for the majority of the year for unknown reasons and was not seen until the end of the year music awards. The members did not mention her at all throughout activities, confusing fans who then made demands for XOXO and Delphi Entertainment to update them. Neither XOXO or Delphi Entertainment acknowledged these demands.

With the comeback of Eunmi and their second full length album, XOXO announced their first tour, XOXO 1st Asia Tour 2015. They had eight shows, 2 in South Korea, 2 in Japan, 2 in Thailand, 1 in Indonesia and 1 in Taiwan.

XOXO released the first episode of their reality show “Hugs and Kisses!” on November 2015 which comprised 10 episodes being released throughout the year following the four members as they traveled around Asia for their first tour, XOXO 1st Asia Tour 2015.

In January 2017, XOXO announced their North American tour and held four shows: New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Tickets were sold out in three minutes.

In 2019, Delphi Entertainment announced the indefinite hiatus of group activities. All four members still remain under Delphi Entertainment. Aera is busy with her modeling contract, Jiyeon and Eunmi both actively promote as solo artists, and Yu goes by Yoojung now and is focused on her acting career.

My Persona + SMT protags birthday + zodiac signs headcanons

I felt like it so I want to make a list with my headcanons about Persona + mainline SMT protagonists birth dates :p

In short: my headcanons about each protag day and month of birth is the day and month of the first version of their game release in Japan (the only exception are Arisato twins, where I prefer PSP ver. release date more) and my headcanon for the birth year is the formula: (the release date of the first version of the game in Japan) - (protag's age in the game) unless the year when the plot of the game happened was stated otherwise (like in SMT IV for example, or in P3/P4)

So yeah, the full list of protags birth dates would be under the cut as it would be long af

I also included protags with canon birth dates as well + their canon zodiac signs (according of Megaten wiki)

1, Supreme Court to hear plea challenging premature release of Anand Mohan on May 8

01 May, 2023

Today, the Supreme Court of India agreed to hear a petition on May 8, 2023, challenging the Bihar Government’s decision to grant pre-mature release to former Bihar MP Anand Mohan. He was accused of the mob lynching of Gopalganj District Magistrate G Krishnaiah in 1994. The matter was presented before the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud by the Advocate Tanya Shree (Petitioner’s counsel) for urgent listing. CJI agreed to list the matter for hearing on May 8, 2023. The petition to be addressed by the top Court was filed by the widow of District Magistrate, Uma Krishnaiah. The District Magistrate was killed after an attack led by Mohan through a mob. As a result of this, Mohan was sentenced to life imprisonment whereas on 24th April he came out of jail after serving 14 years on the grounds of remission of a sentence given by the Bihar Government. According to the remission policy of Bihar state, a murder convict of an on-duty public servant was not eligible for premature release. This Bar was eliminated after amending the remission policy in April. Therefore, Uma Krishnaiah approached the Supreme Court challenging the circular issued on April 10 by the Bihar Home Department amending Rule 481(1)(a) of the Bihar Prison Manual 2012. She also challenged Anand Mohan’s premature release. Hearing all these issues, CJI ordered to list the matter for hearing on May 8.

For Those New To EXO!

EXO was originally divided as EXO-K and EXO-M: “K” stood for Korean and “M” for Mandarin. One sub-unit would promote in Korea and the other would promote in China). They debuted as 12 members in 2012 with 6 per sub-unit, but two membersleft in the year 2014 (names: Kris and Luhan) and one left in 2015 (name: Tao). The reasons as to why they left are due to personal issues, health issues, and conflict with their company. A lot of fans left during those years and many people believed that they'd flop after these events. Many didn’t even believe in EXO’s success even before they lost members, that they wouldn’t become so popular. Obviously, the opposite happened.

There are only 9 members now. Ordered from oldest to youngest: Xiumin (3/26/1990), Suho (5/22/1991), Lay (10/7/1991), Baekhyun (5/6/1992), Chen (9/21/1992), Chanyeol (11/27/1992), D.O (1/12/1993), Kai (1/14/1994), Sehun (4/12/1994).

EXO debuted with the concept of being “aliens” with superpowers; coming from Exoplanet, they’re protectors of the tree of life and have come to earth in order to protect the heart of the tree of life and now earth from the red force. Each member has their own power and symbol: Xiumin-Ice, Suho-Water, Lay-Healing, Baekhyun-Light, Chen-Lightning, Chanyeol-Fire, D.O-Force/Earth, Kai-Teleportation, and Sehun-Wind. (They also each have their own number for clothing/jerseys). This superpower concept has remained in each comeback, and they’re one of the only (if not, the) groups to have such a foundation and artistic style based on the same concept for so long.

Despite people’s pessimistic view of the group, EXO was a really hyped up group by their company with a total of 23 teasers starting on December 21, 2011. Each teaser was made to slowly reveal who is who in the band, their concept, and their capabilities as rookies. This was done until March 21, 2012, and during that time two music videos were made prior to debut. Those music videos were not yet their official debut.

Side note: EXO-M only had 4 Chinese members: Kris, Luhan, Lay, and Tao. Xiumin and Chen were also in EXO-M but they are Korean.

Another side note: they still do create Chinese versions of their songs, they also had a Japanese debut in 2015 so they also have some Japanese discography as well.

ANOTHER SIDE NOTE: A sub-unit of EXO, EXO-CBX, debuted in 2016 and the member Lay also had his solo debut the same year (Lay’s solo discography are all written, arranged, and produced by him). EXO-CBX consists of the members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.

LAST SIDE NOTE: The EXO fandom is called EXO-L. The 'L' stands for Love. In the alphabet, the letter “L” is the 12th letter (for twelve members) and links the letters K (EXO-K) and M (EXO-M). EXO-Ls are considered to be a sub-unit of EXO so: EXO-K + EXO-L + EXO-M = One. Therefore, the band's slogan "WE ARE ONE!" means that the band members and the fans are ONE. EXO-Ls are in charge of promoting worldwide Love for EXO-K and EXO-M."

NAMANANA (October 19th, 2018) - title track for the third album. It’s also his official U.S. debut under the name Lay Zhang. Each song on the album is both in Chinese and English, totaling to a count of 22 tracks.

EXO is a group that has broken multiple records: fastest selling concerts (0.2 seconds), youngest group ever to perform at Tokyo Dome, best selling artist in Korea for 4 years in a row, 4 million sellers, etc. Even individually, members have broken records (Lay’s Lose Control EP broke seven out of eight Guinness World Records on the YinYueTai China Weekly Charts). They’ve made monumental achievements not only as an idol group but have given great contributions to the Hallyu wave (performed at the Pyeongchang Olympics closing ceremony, first artist/k-pop act/non-royal to be displayed on the led screens of the Burj Khalifa, etc.).

April 25th

1954 - Johnnie Ray

Johnnie Ray was at No.1 on the UK singles chart with 'Such A Night.' The singer's first of three UK No.1's. He became deaf in his right ear aged 13 after an accident and would later perform wearing a hearing aid. Dexys Midnight Runners' 1982 music video for 'Come On Eileen', used footage of Ray from 1954. The lyrics of the song say, "Poor old Johnnie Ray sounded sad upon the radio / he moved a million hearts in mono".

1960 - Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley started a four week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Stuck On You', his first hit single after his two-year stint in the US Army. It became his first No.1 single of the 1960s and thirteenth overall.

1974 - Pamela Courson

Pamela Courson the long-term companion of the late Jim Morrison died of a drugs overdose. It was Courson who found The Doors singer dead on July 3, 1971 in the bathtub of their apartment in Paris, France.

1977 - Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley made the last recordings of his life during a concert at the Saginaw, Michigan Civic Centre. Three songs from the show appeared on the posthumously released Presley album, 'Moody Blue'.

1979 - The Police

The Police made their debut on BBC TV's Top Of The Pops performing 'Roxanne'. The single which was taken from their album Outlandos d'Amour was written from the point-of-view of a man who falls in love with a prostitute.

1982 - Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder were at No.1 on the UK singles chart with 'Ebony And Ivory.' This was McCartney's 24th No.1 hit single as a songwriter. The title was inspired by McCartney hearing Spike Milligan say "black notes, white notes, and you need to play the two to make harmony folks!". It was later named as the tenth worst song of all time by Blender magazine and in 2007 was named the worst duet in history by BBC 6 Music listeners. (WTF???? I always thought it was a great song…)

1987 - U2

U2 started a five-week run at No.1 on the US album chart with their fifth studio album The Joshua Tree. Inspired by American tour experiences, literature, and politics, the album topped the charts in over 20 countries, and is one of the world's all-time best-selling albums, with over 25 million copies sold. The album which won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year produced the hit singles 'With or Without You', 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For', and 'Where the Streets Have No Name'.

1988 - Doc Mcgee

Bon Jovi's manager Doc McGee was convicted on drug offences arising from the 1982 seizure of 40,000lb of marijuana smuggled into north Carolina from Colombia. McGee was sentenced to a five year suspended prison term and a $15,000 fine.

1990 - Jimi Hendrix

The Fender Stratocaster that Jimi Hendrix played at the Woodstock festival was auctioned off for a record $295,000. His two-hour set at the 1969 festival became the longest of his career.

1994 - Eagles

The Eagles played the first of two shows where they recorded their 'Hell Freezes Over' album. Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Felder and Timothy B. Schmit first got back together the previous December for the making of a Travis Tritt video of their song, 'Take It Easy' The name of the album was taken from an earlier quote by Glen Frey, who responded to the question "When will the Eagles get back together?"

2007 - Bobby "Boris" Pickett

American singer Bobby "Boris" Pickett died of leukaemia at the age of 69. Scored the Halloween anthem 'The Monster Mash' in 1962. The song had been banned by The BBC in the UK, deemed offensive and wasn't a hit until 1973. It was a spoof on the dance crazes popular at the time, including the Twist and the Mashed Potato.

2007 - Mick Jagger

During The Rolling Stones current world tour, aides to George Bush were told they couldn’t book a luxury five star hotel suite because Mick Jagger had already booked it. Jagger had splashed out £3,600 a night for the suite at the five-star Imperial Hotel in Vienna, Austria, in advance of the band's appearance there. Prior to the attempted booking, US Secret Service agents had already vetted the hotel, but to no avail

2016 - Nikki Sixx

Motley Crue co-founder Nikki Sixx launched a campaign asking Google to pay musicians more money when their videos appeared on YouTube. The bass player was urging Google to remember its former slogan - "Don't be evil" - in its dealings with artists.

2017 - Elton John

Sir Elton John suffered a potentially deadly bacterial infection during a tour, forcing him to spend two nights in intensive care and cancel concerts in the US. The singer became violently ill at the end of a tour of South America, requiring him to return to the UK for urgent treatment. Nine concerts that were due to be staged in Las Vegas and California were cancelled.

How can you say that dating Conor was fucked up but dating Harry wasn’t? Pick a narrative. Harry’s birthday is Feb 1st 1994, Conor’s birthday is July 24th 1994. 5 months changes whether something is fucked up or isn’t?

Harry had no industry experience when they met. They met two weeks after 1D’s first album came out in America (March 13th 2012/March 31st 2012). 1D had not headlined any shows here at the time, the first headlining show was May 22nd 2012. Even then, that headlining tour had an average of 10,000 tickets sold in America and they only did a handful of shows, this is the only experience they had at the time she not only met him but also by the time they’d started dating. Their second album came out in November, a while AFTER they’d started dating. Harry couldn’t even stop talking about headlining MSG in December (by then they’d been dating for two months) because it was the biggest thing they’d done in their careers.

In contrast, by the time they met Taylor had released three albums in America and sold about 35 million copies. She’d gotten multiple top 5 singles and multiple awards and nominations including 6 Grammys, and had sold out MSG three times in two world tours. She was worth about 10x what he was worth and even owned a private jet and had a security detail.

The power dynamics were off with Harry almost as much as they were with Conor. You have to remember that Harry was a working class kid who lived above a pub and worked in a Bakery a year and a half before meeting Taylor Swift, two years before they started dating. The UK school system has them finishing high school at 16, and then doing two further years of what they call “college” which at the time were mandatory for going to university and now are just mandatory. It’s rare for a kid to not go to college in England, and it’s considered part of high school. They ARE high school age. If Harry hadn’t joined the band he WOULD HAVE BEEN GOING TO SCHOOL WHEN HE MET TAYLOR. He literally said what he was planning on studying in his audition. He would’ve graduated two months prior to them beginning their relationship if he had sticked with school. There’s virtually no difference between Conor and Harry.

I don’t think dating either of them was “fucked up”. I think it was creepy, because no 22/23 year old should look at high school aged boys. I understand WHY, obviously she needed to seek younger people because Jake had fucked her up. Dating them was in no way comparable to what Jake did to her, because he used his age to fuck Tay up, I would argue, intentionally, which I’m 100% sure Taylor did NOT do with either Harry OR Conor. It’s definitely 10000% incomparable to what Caroline did to Harry.

It was just… creepy and a little sad. I’m not saying everything I’m saying to come for Tay, I’m putting in perspective that Harry and Conor were not different in terms of their rs with Taylor, the age difference, and the power dynamics. NEITHER of them were “taken advantage of”. It was more of a case of “sis you can’t complain that they’re immature, you shouldn’t date a high schooler when you’re old enough to have graduated college”

I mean Harry had a job at least it’s just less weird than her picking a kid up from school. I do agree it’s also a bit strange tho like it was weird of her to date the children.

David Khari Webber Chappelle born on August 24, 1973, in Washington, D.C. His father, William David Chappelle III, is a professor at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. His mother, Yvonne K. Chappelle Seon was a professor at Howard University, Prince George's Community College, and the University of Maryland. He was the youngest of 3 siblings to his parents. Chappelle grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He studied at Woodlin Elementary School. His parents were politically active. Hartman predicted Chappelle would be a comedian from his childhood time. He did his graduation from Washington's Duke Ellington School of the Arts in theatre arts. Fellow comedians have praised Chappelle for his work. Limited edition PS4 celebrates 500 million PlayStation consoles sold

Sony revealed that it has sold over 525 million PlayStation systems worldwide since the console first launched 24 years ago, and that it's doing something special to commemorate it. It unveiled the "500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro" with a dark blue translucent shell, complete with a matching DualShock 4 controller, PlayStation Camera, vertical stand and mono headset.

When it launched the original PlayStation in 1994 (1995 in the US), Sony may not have imagined that it would sell over half a billion in under a quarter century. Launched in 2013 in the US, the PlayStation 4 alone has sold 73.6 million as of the end of 2017. It's easy to forget, though, that Sony was struggling prior to its release, and the console has been a key part of Sony's successful turnaround initiated by former CEO, Kaz Hirai.

Other nice cosmetic touches include a matching translucent box, blue velvet bag and etched copper plate with the serial number of the console. It's the first PS4 Pro to come with a 2TB hard drive, and Sony is also offering a matching gold wireless headset as an extra for $100. You can also purchase the 500 Million Limited Edition DualShock 4 separately for $65.

Sony said that certain "extra special" units will also pop up for lucky buyers with serial numbers like 09995 (the US launch date of the first PlayStation) and 01013, representing the October 13, 2016 US release date of the PS VR.

Just 50,000 units of the 500 Million LImited Edition PS4 Pro will be sold worldwide, and it'll be available for $500 at retailers starting on August 24th. The only sad part is that collectors will probably keep a lot of these units in their boxes, and they're too pretty not to play.

For a few years now, Disney has discovered it lucrative for itself to reissue its well-known and popular animated films for the cinema – as remakes in the guise of

Real films.

These live action adaptations more or less faithfully emulate familiar fabrics. So that you keep the overview, we have listed here which ones Disney live action remakes have already been shot and which are yet to come.

What is meant here are films for which a Disney cartoon exists as a template (overall there are, after all 46 Disney cartoons) and which Disney has staged or wants to implement as a studio itself, this time as a live action variant or photo-realistic animated film. We regularly update our overview here.

Disney's 101 Dalmatians: cartoon and live action remake

Past live-action films on Disney's cartoon classics

Even though Disney is still relatively at the beginning of the planned live action wave of new editions of its animated films, we can already look back on a substantial number of real movie implementations already delivered, even if the live action renaissance was only introduced as a noticeable strategy in the 2010s .

The jungle Book (1994) by Stephen Sommers, German theatrical release:

March 30, 1995, was the first for Disney as a cartoon (The jungle Book, 1967) implemented story, which received a new look as a real film.

101 Dalmatians (1996) by

Stephen Herek, German theatrical release: March 6th, 1997, put on the Disney cartoon 101 Dalmatians (1961) again as a live-action adventure.

102 Dalmatians (2000) by Kevin Lima,

German

Release date: 08.02.2001, is with a lot of goodwill as a Disney remake too 101 Dalmatians – part 2, at least interpretable as a sequel to part 1.

Alice in Wonderland (2010) by Tim Burton, German release date: March 4, 2010, was more of a loose connection to the original story than a direct remake of Disney's Alice in Wonderland (1951).

Maleficent – The Dark Fairy (2014) by Robert Stromberg, German theatrical release: May 29, 2014, was the remake or reinterpretation from the villain's perspective of Disney's sleeping Beauty (1959).

Cinderella (2015) by Kenneth Branagh, German release date: March 12, 2015, put Disney's Cinderella fairy tale film Cinderella (1950) new.

The Jungle Book (2016) by Jon Favreau, German release date: April 14, 2016, is the remake of Disney's The jungle Book (1967).

Alice in Wonderland: behind the mirrors (2016) by James Bodin, German theatrical release:

May 26, 2016, continued as Sequel Disney's live action reinterpretation.

Elliot the dragon (2016) by David Lowery, German theatrical release: 25.08.2016, appears in this list because the Disney template is also included Elliot, the smile monster (1977) contained cartoon elements that were adapted here to the real feature film.

Dumbo: Original & Remake

Beauty and the Beast (2017) by Bill Condon, German release date: March 16, 2017, the Disney remake is over Beauty and the Beast (1991).

Christopher Robin (2018) by Marc Forster is not a direct remake, but unequivocally relates to the characters Winnie Pooh at.

Mary Poppins' return (2018) by Rob Marshall can also be counted on by clever Disney lovers as a remake or sequel, as well Mary Poppins (1964) contained animated figures.

Dumbo (2019) by Tim Burton, German theatrical release: March 28, 2019, put Disney's Dumbo, the flying elephant (1941) new.

Aladdin (2019) by Guy Ritchie, German release date: May 23, 2019, is Disney's remake of a cartoon classic Aladdin (1992).

The Lion King by Jon Favreau, German release date: 07/17/2019, that's it elaborate remake to Disney's The Lion King (1994).

Maleficent 2 by Joachim Rønning, German release date: October 17, 2019, sets as Disney sequel the Sleeping Beauty remake Maleficent continues. Disney's upcoming live action movies in the near future

Some Disney Live Action remakes are already in the foreseeable future, which means: They have already started in the coming months or the shooting has already started. The following films are made with absolute certainty:

Lady and the Tramp is a live action remake of Disney's Susi & Strolch (1955) and became exclusive for Disney's streaming service produced for publication on November 12, 2019. In Germany, the film will only appear at the start of Disney + on March 24th, 2020.

Mulan by Niki Caro Disney's expensive remake to your own cartoon Mulan (1998). The German theatrical release on March 26th, 2020 was postponed in the Corona crisis, first indefinitely, then to July 23rd, 2020.

Cruella is said to be the prequel to 101 Dalmatians, the story of the villain Cruella de Vil in the 1970s with Emma Stone in the leading role and Alex Timbers as director. Release date: May 27, 2021.

Disney Live Action: Sequels

Future Disney Live Action remakes planned

Just because various Disney films are planned does not mean, of course, that they will actually be created in the end. Nevertheless, we do not want to withhold those Disney Live Action films that have already been announced in the past, but are not yet in production enough to be completely safe.

The Little Mermaid by Rob Marshall is Disney 's remake of Arielle the mermaid (1989) and with constantly new information about the remake Shape.

Aladdin 2 will continue the story of Guy Ritchies Aladdin with Will Smith's Djinni.

The Jungle Book 2 becomes a Disney sequel after the success of Disney's first jungle book live action reissue The Jungle Book 2 (2003), again with Jon Favreau as director.

Peter Pan creates to Disney's Peter Pan (1953) a new edition, whereby after Elliot, the dragon David Lowery will take a seat on the director's chair again.

Pinocchio supposed to be the adventures of disneys Pinocchio (1940) as a live action remake. As a director was last Paddington director Paul King in conversation.

Bambi belongs to the latest remake plans Disney and is being reissued by Bambi (1942) animate the young fawn as photorealistically as the Lion King.

Robin Hood is called announced Disney real film certainly an exciting challenge when it comes to reissuing Robin Hood (1973) animated human actions for Disney + animals.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs supposed to be the Disney remake of the very first full-length Disney cartoon, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).

Rose Red on the other hand, (also from Disney) is planned as a story that tells the story of Snow White's fate from the perspective of the dwarves.

Prince Charming by Stephen Chbosky, in turn, loosely takes up the figure of the prince-fairy tale who has appeared in Snow White, Cinderella and Co., whose perfection constantly outshines his little brother.
