i just realized often times when someone asks me if i like them, my first response is, “do you?” and instead of answering the question legitimately, i avoid it with stupid answers and joke around (if that’s me and the person’s type of friendship, to joke around). and i feel like they have to answer first because if they don’t like me back, then i’ll say no because my feelings will fade pretty quickly if it’s not reciprocated. if they say yes, then my already existing feelings will get stronger. however, this isn’t always the case, there have been a few exceptions. i wonder if i’m reciproflux? it makes sense. i feel like i’m recipromantic with occasional exceptions, and sometimes my romantic orientation is complicated. just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

Yeah I think reciproflux can definitely work, for generally being recipro but occasionally fluctuating off it. Especially if you feel it's working well for you.

V'm not entirely sure what you're asking but yes you are still part of the aro community ! V'm hyperromantic so V feel pseudo-romantic attraction and seem like V feel romantic attraction so V understand how it feels to know you are a part of the aro community even if people would say that you're not . You are a valid part of the aro community though :)
