im already doing PR work for fungi, hiveminds, and parasites with the endeme but what if i did PR for crop pest species too. im thinking about tyranids and zerglings and how they hold up a mirror to colonial settler fears. you are afraid of everything the eye can see being extracted by a foreign invader? of the very landscape around you becoming biologically, functionally, culturally, socially uniform? what if the terrible things i did to other people... happened 2 me....
the endeme keys into impaired ecosystems that are artificially kept in the first stages of succession, and that's the reason it is monstrous and scary 'successful' (like most weeds and pioneer species, it is not competitive and becomes second banana to whoever comes after it.) but i think it would be funny to meet it from the other end and play off of fungal and viral crop diseases. maybe there are some funny little guys who are, like, not a big deal until you put a monoculture in front of them. like normally there isn't a giant interstellar bug in the sky but you razed + converted an entire planet into its favorite food. what did you expect.

ChrisRWK’s “Promise Made. Promise Kept.”
ChrisRWK creates layered mixed media paintings drawing inspiration from cartoons, comic books and his time as a graffiti writer. These paintings feature a selection of recurring cartoon-like characters that the artist has been developing over the last two decades. Centered in this cast of characters is the eponymous robot. The most iconic image in Chris’ work, the robot actually originated as a cube that began appearing in his work in the late 1990s and evolved into a television and then finally a robot around the turn of the century.

Julieta and mirabel had taken to the dark alot more, it didn't kill them but it was agony sj they wore hoods ajd sleeves with gloves. The family had tried to stop them but they refused. Casita knew this and tried it's best to help but it sometimes got in the way if them escaping the light. Mirabels argument with alma shook the family. "HE NEVER LOVED THIS FAMILY!" Alma yelled. Mirabels eyes flashed red as she yelled back, the zight made the family gasp. "BRUNO LOVES THIS FAMILY! WE ALL LOVE THIS FAMILY! YOUR HURTING YHR MAGIC BUR YOUR TO STUCK UP TO SEE IT!" her eyes were red, blood red as her teeth formed into fangs. She froze and then casita split. They all stumbled, "THE CANDLE!" pepa yelled. "CASITA GET ME UP THERE!" She ran faster than everyone else. She jumped the ladder as camilo and isabella made their way up. Mirabel scrambled knto the roof only to see the family thrown out of casita. She ran to the roof and saw her tio on the grass by the side of the house. She tried tk reach the candle. She couldn't reach it,
Luisa held julieta back, the woman wa fighting with all her strength and luisa was just holding her. She thrashed and growled. She threwbher head back hitting luisa making her stumble, he hood came down showing her fangs. The family gasped as she ran at inhuman speed and threw doors open, she ran uo to the ladder and climbed, she threw herself up and gripped mirabels shoulder, grabbed the candle but mirabel had her foot stuck under a tile. The rwk look to eachother, mirabel was frightened. Julieta kicked the tile but scratched mirabels foot. They were thrown from the roof, the stairs saved them as brunos tower started to fall. Julieta covered mirabel as the tables and cupboards covered them. The glass fell cutting her back and neck, it was better than being crushed. She heard the yells from her daughter and the crying. It blocked out the rubble falling and hitting above snd around them. The dust settled and the table fell revealing them. Julieta hugged mirsbel, mirabel huggrf her back as tears fell down her face. "M mama I'm sorry" Julieta just held her, "JULIETA!? MIRABEL!?"They looked to see Pepa and felix. Mirabel hid her face In julietas shoulder. "H how did...what are you?" Pepa asked but her sister went limp. Mirabel caught her. Julietas side had been stabbed by a peife if wood, mirabel pulled it out and ripped her sleeve and pressed it against the cut. "That can wait" she said as the family arrived. Luisa lifted her mother and the cloth on her wound at the same time. "You have alit to explain" alma said sternly "she's near death J think this is more importsnt" mirabel responded.
Julieta had a bandages around her side, she was unconscious. The family was silent in the room. "Well....what is...what are you?"isabella asked breaking the silence. Mirabels fangs were showing. "Vampires, mama got bit in the woods when she ws a teenager, it's how she ran sn fast and fought luisas strength. She passed it down" they stared shocked as julieta stirred, she tried to sit up but failed only getting pntk her elbows. "Your a vampire!?" Pepa asked shocked. Julieta looked to mirabel, "I told them" she murmed. Julieta nodded slightly scared. "Do you drink blood then?" Antonio asked. "Sometimes, mostly cow and sheep we drink himan but only people that did bad things, like conquisdadors" julieta explained sitting against the wall. There was alot to explain
Me. I wouldn’t have been caught but. You know that’s just me. But???? At least they didn’t try to just. Immediately kill them without hearing them out. That’s a Greek tragedy waiting to happen 💀💀
