something i havent rly seen mentioned when it comes to comparing/contrasting book & tv omens is the different yet deeply interconnected contexts of conflict they emerged from and interact with: book omens was written towards the end and published in the immediate aftermath of the cold war and tv omens was/is produced during the denouement of the war on terror*, and these real world climates are intrinsic to how each iteration contends with war, nationalism, (bi)partisanship, pacifism & conscientious objection, and the institutions and movements that uphold or disrupt these constructs

I see a lot of stuff like "I can't believe [group of people] are saying [blatantly incorrect thing] about [controversial, important and/or stupid subject]" and I'll roll my eyes and just scroll past because I haven't seen anybody saying that, y'all are just being dramatic. And it has just now occurred to me that maybe this is because I don't have Twitter and barely interact with Tik Tok- I am simply not online enough to have the full, stupid picture of all the goddamn discourse.

Anyways, I’m new to the whole self ship thing so I don’t have much else to type other than the basics. To learn anything else, I made a small simple Carrd.💕

*Just for reference, when I say ‘myself’ I mean more of an OC who I project onto. It’s hard for me to imagine it so literally, so I use an OC instead, created just for this. It’s also just more fun that way, for me. It is still ‘me’ though, on a certain level. Sorry if that’s a bit confusing.

Also, I follow from ‘j0zukez’ so if someone with that name follows you, it’s me, but I don’t use that account anymore. It’s just where I have to follow from.

Is it TF?

TF, as in Transformation, is a concept that can mean quite a few things to many different people- and when depicted in art or media, usually consists of some sort of physical or psychological transformation of one thing into another, often including the contexts before or after such a change occurs. 

For the purposes of this blog, the assumed pretense that the TF or TF-adjacent content depicted in posts on this blog being nonsexual in this manner is considered the default, and will be treated or engaged with as such unless clarified otherwise, but there are plenty of ways those who engage in TF art can enjoy it! There are many who consider it a paraphilia for themselves and commonly enjoy it as a sexual theme, but it is also quite common for people to enjoy it entirely nonsexually, as well- perhaps exploring it under a lens of gender, as a vessel or narrative device to communicate themes, or just liking it as an unrelated special interest... TF is fascinating and alluring concept in itself, regardless of the ways it can be enjoyed and explored.

I made this blog because I love it when I see people unintentionally making TF posts on tumblr. I feel like it happens a lot and I think it's really, really funny when it does, by accident or not. Feel free to tag me in posts or send in questions asking if something is TF, and I'll give my honest answer as an expert in the field myself.

Umm basically we post a promo post for ourselves anddd our mutuals reblog it so their followers can find us and follow us if they deem us worthy of following !! And then you rb the promo of anyone you follow, andd they most of the time will follow you back and reblog your promo post in turn, and it's super duper helpful to find new awesome beings to frolic in fields with together

and how does it feel? (only starting your clay project for art class at 12 am knowing full well you have to wake up early in the morning later for that!! class!!)

sorry i get a little angry/preachy about art theft. it's just that clique art and artists are the literal backbone of our community, so when their stuff gets stolen, it hurts not just them but all of us
