question: how do i ask someone not that close to me if i could draw their oc?

so basically, im in a dnd campaign in a dc server, all the players dont really know each other and we don't talk that much outside of the campaign either, but we've been playing for about half a year now and i really really really love our party... in the beginning i asked if i could draw the pcs and they said okay but like only 1 person shared their character details. one time i uploaded my doodles (i was sooo anxious) and the reactions were okay, but i couldn't tell if it was alright if i asked them more details about their pc's appearances T_____T

they're all pretty ia outside the game too soo i'm not sure how talking to them in private chat might be received. i think they're cool with it but idk if they'll be okay if i bother them asking?

tldr i want to draw my dnd party's player characters, make a full on artbook even, make player cards, but idk if the other players would be fine with me talking to them (sounds stupid if i type it but as someone with severe, severe fear of bothering others i'm genuinely asking)
