1: What book did you last finish? When was that?
I believe the last book I finished was Shatter Me by Taherah Mafi and that was in early July on a roadtrip.
That being said, I read fanfiction constantly (and since I 100% consider fics to be books as well) the last fic I finished was called Break and it’s by pattyrose. I finished that one yesterday.
2: What are you currently reading?
A fic titled Written in the Stars by author Lissa Bryan. I’ve read this story before, but it’s one of the most unique stories I’ve ever read. Very interesting.
3: What book are you planning to read next?
As far as fanfic goes, I really have no idea yet. I usually look through the “favorites” section of some of my favorite authors to find new stories or I check dramioneasks, which is an incredibly useful account.
Regarding books I can purchase and hold in my hands, I’m dying to get @olivieblake‘s new La Petit Mort for Christmas. I received Lovely Tangled Vices last Christmas and I was obsessed with it, of course.
Thank you so much for the ask! And not to embarrass myself with fangirling here, but I adore your writing. I read Pygmalion probably a year and a half ago and I still find myself thinking of it. It’s genuinely one of it’s kind, I’ve never read anything like it.

Bella and her four year old daughter are newbies in NY, running away from the scandal that has become of her former small town life. Edward, on the other hand, the Golden Boy of tabloids everywhere in the New York i unfazed by every little story that comes up about him, nothing can ever stop him from playing hard after working hard. However, when their complicated lives meet at crossroads and Edward develops an immediate attachment to both ladies, how will they deal with tainted pasts and an uncertain future?
This fic had me on edge for days after I finished reading it. Bella, tormented by her past relationship and putting her daughter's - Maddie - welfare first before anything else, is very guarded and refuses to let anyone get too close to them, especially someone with a life and reputation like Edward, but what she couldn't control is the dynamic between Maddie and Edward, like two pieces of a puzzle perfectly designed for each other. And it doesn't help that she and Edward are also attracted to each other. They both have really complicated pasts and with both of their histories with rumors and whatnots, it's one heck of a roller coaster ride, but everything just falls into place whenever Maddie and Edward have their moments (she calls him EdWOOD!!!) and when the three of them unconsciously fall into their family dynamics.
It's HEA so don't worry but this is a real must read if you like some drama and an adorable Edwood.

incanta con il suo tintinnare
ritmato nella danza di una fata.
La fata dei boschi? Si, Lei.
Allieta il sonno degli elfi erranti
come magica libellula vola
tra insoliti destini.
Al tocco d’ali
s’infiamma l’orizzonte di luna
dove i sogni si cristallizzano
e le vestali si vestono di bianco.
Canterà le sue melodie
incastonate tra le cortecce degli ontani
e il profumo salirà più in alto delle cime.
La fata dei boschi? Si, Lei.
Primigenia della terra
dalle antiche radici di rosa canina
si veste di primula e violetta.
