I just finished my first play through of The Outer Worlds and MAN I loved Parvati SO MUCH.

i hope she lives the rest of her days in eternal bliss with her gf.

Also had no idea her outfit was so fucking complicated until I had to draw it- newfound respect for the game’s character models!!

The Outer Worlds: Vicar Max and Parvati /sketch

My 2 favorite and go-to followers. Vicar is quite handy with flame thrower and she knows how to use a shock canon, so that player can just run after the two and do the looting. I wanted to do a full illustration with them fighting marauders, but unfortunately I have no time and all my currently quite little spare doodling time goes to my ... other ... endeavors with raising hell and all.

so uh guess what i played

real talk: the outer worlds is SO fun, oh my god?? i love all the characters they’re all my friends now, the gameplay is really varied, and the cast is pretty diverse! (not sponsored i just really liked this game) plus the choice aspect of it really lends itself to multiple playthroughs

this is the captain i made on my second playthrough, and the one i ended up liking more. halbard (hal to friends, captain to crew) is an enemy of the board and friend of pretty much everyone else :-)

im gonna ramble more about the cast under the cut (spoiler warnings obvs), just stopping here in case yall have better things to do

okay so

Phineas: can’t tell if he’s my dad or if im gay for him, time will tell. he is a mad scientist and an older man so the chances of simping are high. at any rate, i love him he’s wacky <3

ADA: queen deltarune vibes (/pos). always love a snarky robot lady who thinks im an idiot but also cares about me

Parvati: my bestie! my protege! my ride or die! she deserves everything in the world, including a long and happy relationship with Junlei (also ace representation fuck yeah)

Vicar Max: very entertaining to interact with, and the little taglines he says when he uses his special attack are all fucking hilarious. 10/10 would trip with again

Ellie: go off queen, PLEASE fuck over your parents more. you’ll get yourself punched one day but god will it be funny

Felix: every cast needs a himbo, i just wish he wasn’t such a sporty one. nevertheless, i love him he’s stupid. big golden retriever energy

Nyoka: saved my ass a million times on monarch, surprisingly deep and somewhat tragic backstory, fun companion quest. brought her along a lot

SAM: wish theyd stop with the slogans (i get enough of that from everywhere else), but their abilities are quite useful. also their interactions with other crew members are very fun

i have so many new blorbos to rotate in my brain
