↬ nanami’s instagram would have really warm, vibrant tones to accentuate each and every mundane detail of his life into something that looks so euphoric and almost utopian-like which isn’t at all surprising seeing as this man has seen so much pain and suffering for a good majority of his life.

↬ i think he’d pick up photography as a hobby, maybe he’ll dabble into playing around with the settings on adobe lightroom or maybe secretly attend saturday workshops, on his way home from his bakery run, where he gets to learn all the fundamentals on photography composition. he eventually learns about instagram and he downloads the app on a whim when he gets bored at work. he appreciates the user friendly interface and gets the hang of it pretty quickly. he usually posts thrice a month, more if his schedule allows.

↬ now the thing with kento is he doesn’t usually put captions on his photos other than single emojis like: “🐱” or “🥐”. an exception to this is when he posts your birthday photos. he lovingly spares a few words for you that are minimal, at best, only containing a short birthday greeting. but hey, it’s written in pretty font, sooo~~

kento watches you from the couch situated near your home’s screen door leading to the pocket garden the two of you set up when you first moved in together. a small smile plays at his lips when you momentarily jump in surprise as your cat rubs herself against your legs finally ending your little game of hide and seek. “there you are,” you crouch down to scratch her ears. the loving scene of domesticity unfolds before him like a record tape from the nineties, complete with subdued hues of yellow and rose. “sweetheart, could you look here for a bit?” he calls as he fumbles with his phone. you look up confused and that’s when he decides to snap the picture. “hey! i wasn’t ready,” you protest. but he’s already posting the picture on his instagram with the caption: “💕”.

↬ yuta has a fascination with sunsets. there’s just something so alluring and somewhat sorrowful about the last flicker of sunlight waging a war against her opponent, the night sky and her stars, to keep its dominion over the sky. yuta has always struggled with the notion of impermanence — he finds change to be downright terrifying which is why he took it upon himself to confront this fear by taking pictures of the setting sun, a form of change that is ironically as unchanging as his love for a certain someone, hehe.

↬ he normally uses his instagram as a digital journal of sorts. he’s always away owing to the many missions he’s now been assigned as a sorcerer second only to gojo satoru. he writes down entries, as much as possible, on a weekly basis to properly process the many emotions he’s felt that day.

↬ naturally, you’re always the first to view the pictures ergo press the heart button which always makes him turn a bright shade of pink despite the many years you’ve been together. AND, even though you’ve already technically seen the pictures, yuta will ALWAYS show it to you again when he gets home from work and regale you with all the amazing details about his recent trip.

yuta practically melted into your arms when he came in through the front door. “missed you,” he murmurs. you crane your head back to get a good look at him and you heave a sigh of blissful relief when you neither find a single scratch nor bruise on him. “are you alright, my love?” he asks, head tilted to the right, his eyes wide with curiosity at your silence. “yeah, fine,” you shake your head, playfully pinching his unscathed cheek earning a whistle-like chortle from the young sorcerer. “you know,” he says thoughtfully when his laughter dies down. “i never realized how beautiful the hida mountains are,” he recounts the wondrous things he’d seen and taken photos of from the sleepy lake town they took refuge in, to the mighty mountain river he and gojo had crossed on their way to the summit, to the towering willow trees with branches so ancient they could practically block out the sun, and finally to the mysterious abandoned forest shrine that only showed itself to an honored few, emerging from the haze like a ghostly apparition. he continues to ramble on for a substantial amount of time, scrolling through his phone gallery, not knowing that you’d dozed off. “2:48 AM,” the clock read. yuta sighs at your sleeping form, hearts practically swarming in his eyes. he lifts the blankets to cover your forms. “guess we’ll just have to go together someday,” he says, pecking your cheek before shifting ever so carefully to turn off the nightlight.

↬ posts low contrast pictures with low brightness because he’s cool that way. if not for the fact that he mostly shares memes, his feed actually looks pretty good, it’s subtle but appealing in many ways and it looks glorious on dark mode, it kinda reminds you of those pinterest or twitter moodboards. he knows his way around setting a moody vibe on his feed, and to think almost all of his pictures were shot on his old iphone. satoru gojo, the strongest sorcerer of his generation, much to the surprise of many, is actually quite talented. who would’ve thought?

↬ but please PLEASE someone get instagram away from this man, the world is not ready for his genius. now unlike the others, satoru uses instagram purely for fun. and yes, he posts dumb shit like they’re scripture. he got in trouble with the community once when he posted a picture of dixie (depicted above) from the teletubbies with the caption: “bake those cookies dixie”. you had to help him submit an incident report to the community moderators and a promissory note stating that he’ll never post such lewd things again. and he didn’t (thank god). for a full week, that is. he relapsed almost immediately.

↬ on the bright side, though, his followers always find it cute whenever he posts pictures of the two of you on your dates, even the ever-stoic nanami couldn’t resist the urge to smile whenever he comes across a picture of his senior having the time of his life with you. god knows how much gojo satoru deserves to love and be loved in return, even if he once thought it to be the most repulsive of curses.

gojo watches you from the other end of the table, a tipsy simper on his features when he notices your eyelids drooping, your head bobbing in your drunken stupor, your lips slightly open as your breathing evens out. “you drunk, baby?” he slurs as he polishes off the last of the yakiniku set you ordered, the oily, sweet and salty grilled meat seemingly simmering down the effect of the alcohol. you were the only ones left in the izakaya, at this point, the owner has half a mind to throw the both of you out so they could close for the night. “nooooo,” you sniffle before a tiny hiccup rips through your throat. cute, satoru stares at you with lovestruck eyes. “stop that,” you look at him through your blurred vision. “stop what?” satoru asks, his head resting on the hardwood table as his hand searches his jeans for his phone. he had to capture this moment before he blacks out. “looking at me like i’m the most beautiful girl in the room,” you scowl disapprovingly. he manages to find his iphone just before he nods off to sleep, snapping a picture of the both of you. empty plates and half-finished shot glasses are strewn about your table and the night’s festivities are perfectly captured in the frame. the two of you looked absolutely hammered — your normally tidy hair was disheveled, and his face looked like a cross between a sore thumb and a ripe tomato — but still, you looked happy. and to satoru, that’s all that really matters. “but you are, baby,” he pats you on the head before finally passing out. “you are.”

blah blah no need to compare two queens etc etc BUT I really wanted to try to keep a lot of the OG elements of the poster because I have always wondered if there was a way to put them together that I liked; so seeing the original and my version next to one another is interesting. I do enjoy the boxes a lot, and I LOVE Taylor's expression on the og ("she is sooo present" - my boyfriend), but I dislike the dull colors and the overall staticness of the poster. there is no fun, no intrigue, etc. the white is too white and the font is kind of uninteresting, and I also do not think the photos that were chosen go particularly well together. So my main goal was to elevate the color scheme and ramp up the fun factor (and the retro vibes). I am not deluding myself into thinking that Tour Posters Look Like That (the dates n cities are too small, and the venue info is missing), but it was fun to make for sure and i am super proud, especially because I really struggled with the color scheme at first. The evermore orange really saves it imo.

Hi! If your inbox is open, I'd like to request a scenario with all (or any) of the demon brothers, + undatables reacting to a blind MC? Like, none of them expected to have a blind human and Devildom and they have to revamp everything to make it as safe for MC as possible. Can be she/her or they/them pronouns for MC. Bonus points if MC is extremely talkative and won't shut up lmao. Thank you!

OKAY! So, finally got this one out. I’m sooo sorry for the wait, but I wanted to try and do this right, not just some Daredevil nonsense, but I didn’t want to make the mistake of a ‘helpless blind MC’ either; because they’re not helpless.

I am also lucky enough to have a regular customer at my work that happens to be blind and she has been very happy to give me a helping hand to make this ask more real. She’s such a delight and her guide dog is beautiful and I could ramble on with our interactions, like one time she scolded us for moving the fixtures because she had just memorized the layout of the store then told her guide “you’ll earn that pay check today!”

SO! With her in mind, more so from her younger days that she reminisced with me; I have decided to work this piece around this customer’s condition specifically so I’m not just pulling shit out my arse.

To give you an idea, this MC suffers from Retinitis pigmentosa; their symptoms being tunnel vision and night blindness. So while they are legally blind, they can somewhat see. They use a cane when going out, use their hands and/or cane when inside a place knew to them – that happens to be in poor light (Devildom) – until they have the layout in their mind and move more confidently.

This also took a while because I couldn’t get a fic/scenario to work cohesively and hc was just not working either! But I’ve hopefully gotten it now, and I do hope you like it. I’ve also placed this under the cut because I’ve waffled on here.

Diavolo:

Interested. Anyone within the Devildom without eyesight, are generally the souls of the damned who aren’t permitted to move freely. Heck, he’s removed some of their eyes himself.

He wants to know instantly if there is anything he needs to change and improve to make sure MC’s stay is not only comfortable but enjoyable.

Absolutely loves how open MC is. He’s amazed at the resilience of humans; delighted to hear MC say how capable they are, though he does insist on one of the brother’s remaining her escort for the duration of their stay. Capable or not, he is well aware of how demons would use MC’s lack of sight to their advantage.

Really wants to ask how amplified their other senses are; disappointed to know most things depicted in movies are – for the most part – an over exaggeration.

Organises a tablet for them with all RAD textbooks uploaded so they have that ability to zoom in so they are able to read the text at their own comfort. Other systems such as braille, text to talk etc are also implemented if that is something MC prefers to learn by.

Lucifer:

Considers Cerberus as a guide dog? Impossible, the human would be eaten alive. Perhaps another smaller hellhound? Goodness no, they’d still be eaten.

Asks MC about their condition –on behalf of Lord Diavolo of course – so he is aware of anything that may help their stay in the Devildom.

Very pleased to see how receptive MC is, very talkative and informative about her condition; he’s surprised to learn the varying levels of visual impairment. Consults Diavolo on brighter lighting to improve her movements around RAD and already planning on improvements within his own home.

During MC’s first few nights in Lamentation, Lucifer appears on edge; always keeping an eye when they’re moving about on their own. Enjoys watching how they learn to memorize layouts, quietly telling themselves how many steps it takes from one room to another, touching hallway objects.

Ready to run to their side that one time MC walked into the wall; turning into the kitchen a little too soon; until he hear them chuckle to themselves and ran their hand along the wall until they found the doorway and walked through it. No damage done. He’s learning to leave them be, understanding that he doesn’t need to dote on them.

Mammon:

MC is blind? Ooh yeah! The things that boy could swipe to make some quick Grimm, and right under their nose. It was gonna be too easy!! Completely stunned when they still catch him out. “How’d ya know it was me?!”

Watches them narrow their eyes as if trying to spot him before coming up beside him and close the drawer he was just rummaging through. The nerve this human has to threaten The Great Mammon by saying they’ll use their cane to whack him.

Surprised at MC’s explanation on how they knew it was him. They recognised his scent; not only did he have his favourite cologne – which he didn’t think he wore that much of – they noted how he had a metallic smell, like the kind you get when touching coin constantly.

Likes to watch MC move around their room; at first using their hand to remember the layout and then moving as if they saw as well as he did. Considered rearranging things to see what would happen.

Okay, so MC isn’t helpless… but, other demons don’t know that. Considers using MC as bait; distract idiots so he can rob them and sell their things for a little Grimm. “I, The Mammon, am a genius!” “No, Mammon.”

Levi:

Couldn’t even imagine being in their position; all that manga he couldn’t read, anime they couldn’t watch… never knowing what Ruri-Chan looks like!!! Gasp! No way. Poor MC!

Really confused when he sees them one day, curled up on a chair in the common room, wearing a pair of glasses and a book in hand. Wanders over and looks over their shoulder before questioning what was going on; nodding when they told him that with reading glasses and preferably larger font, they could indulge in many a storybook.

As their relationship blossoms, he has a dedicated reading nook in his room for the two of them, including a lamp to brighten the area to help improve what sight they have. Likes that they’re happy to listen to him read to them his TSL series. He thinks about writing to the publishers for the next editions to have larger fonts; that way he could buy MC a set of their own.

He likes to sit and watch them bring things close to their face to inspect them better; his figurines which they – to his relief – handle with great care, or his manga comics to see which characters he’s fawning over.

He secretly loves that MC likes to chill by his fish tank wall. Why? They state that while there’s too much distortion for them to actually make anything out, they enjoy the ambient colouring and light; the two eventually just listen to music together like that as a means to relax.

Satan:

Of course he is utterly curious about MC’s condition and is glad to see how open they are to talking about it. He’ll look things up himself in his own time but nothing like hearing it from someone’s own experience.

Asks if those romance and crime novels are accurate; “so, do you touch people’s faces so you know what they look like?” finds it interesting that for the most part, this doesn’t happen; but it makes sense, he wouldn’t be too thrilled by someone he barely knows putting their hands onto him.

Writes down notes that he considers most important from the board during lessons and offers them to MC should they need them for their studies.

Another one who likes watching MC learn their way around Lamentation, like how they touch cupboard handles until they find the one they need while grumbling about how crappy the lights are.

Shared appreciation for just lying on the ground whenever a cat is near them, all responsibility out the window as number one priority is giving adorable little hellcats their undivided attention. Loves that MC is willing to con Lucifer into believing a cat makes a wonderful guide animal.

Asmo:

Oh poor MC, unable to see just how beautiful he is… Oh, they can kinda see? If he gets real close? Oh he can definitely do that! Bummed that MC promptly puts in some boundaries but once their relationship develops they do enjoy the closeness with him.

Learns – albeit slowly – that his looks aren’t going to win MC over, and instead begins to better understand the value of personality and getting to know a person. Should MC like Asmo, it’s because of who he is and not for all the fluffing he does with his looks.

Whenever he happens to be the brother escorting MC, just know he’ll always detour to the main hub; treating the two of them to manicures and pedicures, facials, all that fun stuff.

When shopping, he loves how MC feels the fabric of things he grabs for them and has an even bigger appreciation for how things feel on him. Absolutely enjoys offering explanations whenever MC would ask about colour or cuts if they can’t make them out should the lighting be too poor for them.

Will starting looking around for ‘fashionable’ canes. Yes, he knows it’s about practicality and he’s not going to take that away from MC, but what’s wrong with wanting to match their cane with that gorgeous outfit he’s picked out from them?

Beel:

Having no experience with a visually impaired human, he’ll ask MC if he should carry them places; it’s no big deal, they looked pretty light after all. Apologises if they happen to get a bit defensive so keeps close while they walk together, worried they may walk into or trip over something.

He’ll be curious about whether or not other senses are heightened due to the loss of another and is lowkey disappointed that they wouldn’t be able to hear someone in the kitchen stealing his food when they’re somewhere else in the house.

He loves cooking with them; the tastes of what he creates seem to be more balanced and they’re more than happy to sneak him a few snacks while Lucifer is occupied elsewhere. They’ll fool around, tasting things to see who can pick up more notes.

Things turn into a game between the two of them; if he spots MC in a room he’ll sneak up and try and get to them before they realise he’s there. “Too heavy on your feet,” or “you were giggling,” is something he hears a lot when trying.

Though MC can’t really see while he’s training or playing a game, he really appreciates that there still there to cheer him on; he’s taken to wearing a bright headband in hopes that they’ll be able to spot him out a bit better. They don’t half the heart to tell him they still can’t find him.

Belphie:

In the beginning, he’ll use MC’s lack of sight to their advantage; sly and manipulative to lure them in. Watches how they react to his voice, how their eyes or head move in the direction he’s in, learning how they work their other senses.

Tensions between the two would be tight after that moment and he’ll feel tremendous guilt for what he did to them; keeps himself at a distance, afraid they’ll recoil if they sense he’s too close and understands if they would.

Amazed that they find it in them to forgive him and help mend bonds between him and his brothers, and will spend whatever time he’s able building up trust with MC; whether that’s being their escort around Devildom or just being there for company.

He loves – when trust is established – that MC is just happy to lay with him while he star gazes and talks about what he sees, trying to paint a picture for them while they huddle up together in a fluffy blanket, sharing his cow print pillow.

Simeon/Luke:

They’re angels; their job is to look over and protect humans. So they are already well aware of how capable MC would be – Simeon more so than Luke since he’s younger and more interested in Michael – but they will still offer their assistance should MC need it.

They’re also the sort to take notes down during class that MC may not be able to see on the board; but they’ll ask before assuming.

Simeon has taken to writing a little bigger if it’s something he’d like MC’s opinion on his work; the two forming a bond through fiction and history. The two can be found losing track of time and just talking about any given thing.

Luke enjoys cooking with MC; asking them what they think of the taste of something he creates and asks how he can make it better. He’d love to be able to wow Michael upon his return to the Celestial Realm and MC will always critique his work rather than sugarcoat like Simeon would or just outright scare him like demons would. With a little push from MC, he takes lessons from Barbatos.

Solomon:

Quite unphased; he’s dealt with various impairments before seeing as he is still human despite being a very powerful sorcerer. He doesn’t offer assistance but will give it should MC ask him for help.

He has many a spell in his books that could quite possibly cure or ease symptoms of various impairments and is very tempted to bring this information to MC; but decides on holding back until he can figure out how to approach the subject. He’ll ask them how they feel about their situation and go from there.

Would also offer heightening other senses should MC want them; even temporarily if they’re just a little curious. “Let’s see what’s so crash hot about being Daredevil!” “My thoughts exactly MC.”

i love this tag game i really had to think about the edits i was going to choose cause i made sooo many. i started with really really poor quality as i was looking back to the beginning of creating them. but now nothing but beauty, and im really proud of that cause i found a good hobby and passion to create this year throughout all the chaos and made some really amazing friends and will hopefully continue to make more! 

so here are my favs edits that i created this year with small inspirations/explanations 

1. my first tcw+mcu quote set 

this was the first set that included gifs i made on photoshop! it was so much fun starting to experiment with better quality. the two gifs without words i made in giphy cause i couldn’t figure out how to get the gif under 10mb lol. and i really dont know how i did that with the gifs that have words lol. I got this idea to mix the two fandoms from a good friend. 

2. my first mando edit 

simple edit but i love it so much. the color editing i did this was immaculate and the scene hella cute and a glimpse into the development of their relationship. that little ball is apart of the story now. love it

3. rex and ahsoka edit

the saddest edit ive ever made for the saddest tcw arc in existence. i love the in between gifs i made for this edits cause its when i learned to properly put clips together in the same gif without it looking wonky this edit took me like a week to finish just to get down the font and those scenes in between 

4. chadwick boseman tribute 

not many people know i made this. losing chadwick this year was like losing a family member you take all they did for you until they die and its like damn all those experiences feel a lot heavier than they should. and this year i really learned to enjoy the time i have with people cause you seriously have no idea when you’ll lose them such a cliche thing i guess but that saying was evident this year for so many people. so cherish the time you have with people no matter who they are. 

5. superposition edit

sweet little underrated edit of mine i really love what i did with the black and white scenes and the song lyrics are from daniel caesars song superpostion which is a godly song give it a listen please!! it got me through some dark times. 

 woop woop thats the end kind of feels like a year in review for me! i have no idea who to tag cause i feel like everyone has done this already lol.

hey! i'm so sorry to bother you and i've thinking back and forth about whether to approach you about this or not but well. here i am. i'm p much in awe with your edits (DUH who isn't) and i've been wondering where you get/got your textures from? i used to use them ages ago before i decided to delete them all and the ones i've got now don't quite sit right with me. if you don't want to share tho, that's fine too! thank you 💚

Hey! I was gonna respond privately, but you got me wanting to side-rant in general about sharing, asking specifics, making requests, etc., sooo quick public digression. If anyone ever wants know what I did on an edit, ABSOLUTELY HIT ME UP. This is fandom, where we're all doing this for nothing more than fun and creative satisfaction and to give each other hits of serotonin by way of pretty pictures and stories about fictional characters we love. We aren't rival candy companies, protecting our top secret recipes. I'm more than happy to break down to the layer what I did, if anyone's ever curious about a specific effect, or font, or whatever. Fandom is the best place to screw around, learn from, and get inspired by each other. So there’s no such thing as being a bother! 

(Secondly, omgaaawd, 🥰🥰🥰 you and your edits are basically singlehandedly why I stepped up my game when I got into The Magicians. I looked around like, "oh shit, this fandom doesn't just fix the coloring and call it a gif. They make ART over here.")

And finally, to actually answer your question:

I've hoarded a lot of the curated sets Tanja92 put together here. They have a tonnn of paper textures, clouds, paint splotches, and weird stock that lends itself to moody, weird edits. 

If you're a Photoshop CC subscriber, download Kyle Webster's brushes for free here. They are THE brushes. Aside from hundreds of realistic drawing brushes, he also has really good brushes for adding grain, noise, halftones, and splotches. I use his splotchy, watercolor wash brushes when I want to mask part of a layer without it looking like I masked it.

The "textures and patterns" section of Unsplash is also full of high-resolution, grungy, watery weirdness. And clouds! I seem to use photos of starry, cloudy night skies that I grabbed from Unsplash a lot. 

Whenever I use a torn paper edge, I'm probably using this brush set, it's awesome. 

For ink/smoke/paint stock videos, I've found some good free stuff on Videvo.  And if you dig around on YouTube, people are offering up some very neat stock videos for free, like this one for example. I'm pretty sure this was the video I used for the Nature Boy Quentin gifset. Since it’s YouTube, once you watch one, they start recommending dozens of other good ones to you whether you want them or not.

Those are my big, recent texture resources off the top of my head! But if I remember any other good resources, I’ll add ‘em to the list. 

A Night to Remember - Ben Hardy! Roger Taylor

Summary: Based off of a Star is Born, Roger is captivated when he first lays eyes on Y/N, performing on the stage at open mic night. He takes a chance and asks out, and they end up spending the rest of the night together.

A/N: Sorry for the repost, tumblr is shit and it didn’t show up under the tags. This is only my second fic, and I didn’t proofread. It’s not exactly like A Star is Born but heavily inspired by it. Idk how I feel about it to be honest, I said smile/laugh sooo much. I tried to not make it super cliche, but I still hope you really like this! I still didn’t proofread so excuse any errors please!

He was exhausted of the flashy parties with girls crowding around him, each out-flirting the last. Roger couldn’t complain—he loved the parties and the endless line of girls, but he was just simply tired of loud and crazy parties. He only wanted a break for one night.

So while his band-mates went off to another party after their concert in Seattle, Roger decided to just go to a mellow, and quiet bar. Walking around the dim streets, he’d only find bars full of annoying college kids or full of people drowning their sorrows. He was about to head back to the hotel until he was drawn to a specific bar. A blue neon sign so bright that it hurt to look at, read “Blue Moon Bar,” and had flashes of stars around it. It was beyond freezing at this point, and nearly pouring rain, so Roger decided it’d be best to at least try this bar out. At least it had an intriguing name…

When he stepped in, it was dead silent, and everyone’s eyes were drawn to an older women singing on the stage. Great, he thought, It’s open mic night… Roger figured he could at least order a beer or two, maybe it’d actually be fun to see people fail at sing.

After a few good singers and definitely a lot of bad ones, there was only one singer left. The host, a young girl who herself sang terribly earlier, stepped on the stage to announce the last song. “And now, everyone’s favorite, our very own Y/N!” Roger almost laughed to himself thinking about how awful the other singers were… How good could this Y/N really be?

A girl with shining, curled, y/h/c hair stepped on the stage, standing out even though the lights were dim. She was wearing a slim fit, black dress, with white gloves that went above her elbows. Roger couldn’t lie, he was struck by her appearance… Nonetheless, he still believed her singing was going to be absolute shit.

“Well hello again Blue Moon Bar, I’m so glad to be here again.” Y/N smiled into the mic, her eyes full of excitement. “So I’ve sang this song before, but it was a long time ago. Now, I’m taking you back, but adding something new… I’ll be seeing this song in French!”

Roger took another sip of his beer and nearly rolled his eyes at this annoyingly cheery Y/N. The lights dimmed, and the music began playing. “Des yeux qui font baisser les miens…” She sang, her eyes closed, and intently focusing on the music. “Un rire qui se perd sur sa bouche” Her voice was amazing and angelic, and Roger’s jaw nearly hit the floor. He was awestruck…

She walked across the stage gracefully, continuing to sing smoothly. The crowd would cheer every time she’d wink or a blow a kiss. She’d often smile and nearly laugh, but still managed to sing perfectly. Roger smiled to himself, admiring the way she confidently carried herself on stage. She knew she was good. He turned around to face the bartender as she was still singing.

“So… Tell me more about this Y/N…” Roger said, sneaking in a glance at you.

The bartender glanced up from pouring glasses at Roger. “Well, as you can see she’s amazing at singing… Her name is Y/N Y/L/N. She always finishes up the night, we can never get enough of her.”

“Has she ever thought of pursuing a career in singing? Has she tried?”

“Not that I know of, we’ve all tried to get her too. She’s just scared I think, but we all know she’d go places. Instead, she just works at some restaurant across the street.”

Roger turned back around to look at you, and realized you had finished the song. “Thanks for coming everyone, I’ll see you next week.” You said with a small wave.

You smiled to yourself as you felt you had the best performance yet. You were honestly really worried about how you’d do with the French version of La Vie En Rose, with only taking three years of it in high school. You walked into the makeshift backstage area and all the other weekly singers ran up to hug you.

“Y/N, you did so good, I’m so proud!” Said Lizzie, the host of the open mic night. She sang earlier too. “It was all so perfect and angelic… The outfit, the song, your voice…”

You laughed. “Thanks Lizzie, but we both know it was just a good performance. I have room for improvement.” Lizzie rolled her eyes.

You changed out of your dress into something more comfortable, just jeans and a floral shirt, with white tennis shoes. “Honestly Liz, the cold weather is killing me, I can hardly—“ You were interrupted by a tap on your shoulder. You turned around to be met with the face of a blonde man you vaguely recognized. It wasn’t a bad face though, you thought to yourself, His face was actually pretty nice…

Before you could say anything he introduced himself. “Hey. I’m Roger.” He said, giving you a charming smile.

“Oh um I’m Y/N!” You said, with a hint of awkwardness. “I don’t mean to be rude, but should you really be back here? It’s just—“

“No worries, I asked someone if I could come back here. I wanted to know if you’d like to get out of here with me.” You were a little concerned about this Roger guy. You knew his face from somewhere… And he was just so forward…

“Well I have to work tomorrow and it’s already late—“ You began, but were cut off by a scoff from Lizzie.

“She’d love to go! Between you and me, she really need unwind.”

“Holy shit Lizzie you—“ You whispered to her, only to be cut off again, but this time by Roger.

“Great! We can leave whenever you’re ready.” He said, and then abruptly left the room.

“Liz what hell! You can’t just force me on dates with random guys!”

“God Y/N, sometimes you’re so thick… Do you know who he is?” She rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, he just introduced himself as Roger!”

“As in Roger Taylor, the drummer of Queen?”

You paused for a moment, thinking about it. You listened to Queen quite often, how did you not realize he was the drummer? You sighed to yourself, and pinched the bridge of your nose in frustration.

“Well what the fuck am I supposed to do now Liz? He’s part of an internationally known band, probably has dated so many girls better than me, and I’m just—“

She put a hand on you reassuringly, “Y/N, you’re gonna be fine.”

You took a deep breath and grabbed your jacket. “You’re right, I just need to get through the night and not embarrass myself.”

You somewhat confidently walked out of the room, and entered the now almost empty bar. There were two girls at a table loudly laughing, the bartender, Drew, and then him. You weren’t as nervous before, but he sat there chatting up the bartender with a charming smile. You hated to admit how good he looked. You approached them with a nervous smile on your face, and gave them a little wave. “Hi Roger, so where are we gonna go then?”

Roger turned around to face you, and gave you a smile, “I don’t know it’s up to you really.” He said, not breaking eye contact with you, “But I was thinking we could go to another bar that’s open or back to the party and you can meet the rest of the band.”

You thought for a moment but decided you didn’t want to be partying right now. You were never a party person, always more reserved and avoided large crowds… “Not that that doesn’t sound fun… But I was thinking we could just go to Tiffany’s Diner down the road and get some milkshakes? They really do have the best milkshakes in the state of Washington, if not the west coast…”

“Best milkshakes in the state you say? Sounds tempting…” He thought, as you looked at him expectedly. “Alright, but I’m going to hold your words against you if you’re wrong…”

You grinned, and grabbed his hand, guiding him out of the bar.

The diner was practically empty, except for a trucker and two teenagers. It’s neon lights lit up the room, and the odd smell of grease filled the diner. You sat across from Roger in a booth, and talked as you waited for your milkshakes and fries. “So,” you said leaning closer on the table, “what do you think of Seattle so far?” You asked.

“It’s very umm…” He furrowed his brows, unsure of how to answer the question. “Wet.”

You laughed and shook your head. “That’s one way to describe it. I love it here though, I’ve grown up here and I don’t see myself ever leaving.” You said with a gentle smile on your face.

“What do you do for work?”

“Well… Right now I’m just a waitress at this high end restaurant… It’s no life-long career, but it pays the bills and the tips are big, so I really can’t complain.” You fiddled with the zipper of your bag. “A little birdie told me you’re a drummer in a world famous band then?”

“Yeah I am, have you heard our songs?”

“A few. They’re okay… Room for improvement.” You said jokingly with a grin on your face.

“Hey wipe that grin off of you face! We’re internationally known, I’ll have you know.What about you? Have you ever thought of pursuing a musical career? Your voice is bloody amazing.” Roger said looking at you.

You tucked your hair behind your ear, a nervous habit of yours. “Thanks but I don’t think I will. I’m not going to chase after a dream that will likely never come true. My mom taught be to realistic.” You were started to feel less nervous now, but it was intimidating to be alone with someone so good-looking and so famous. “You met my friend back at the bar, Lizzie, and she always tries to get me to sing at other places… But I’m happy where I’m at.”

There was silence for a second, but it was quickly interrupted by the waitress bringing your food. “Hey Y/N, another performance at the Blue Moon tonight, I assume. Replacing Liz I see, who’s this?”

“This is Roger, my new best friend, Lizzie got to be too annoying.” You chuckled.

“A strawberry milkshake, a chocolate milkshake, and fries. You kids enjoy!” She said.

“Thanks Carol!” You called after her. Roger was looking at you with a puzzling look. “What?” You frowned.

“Are you friends with just about everyone then?”

You laughed, shaking your head. “Just with the people around here, I suppose.”

“I’m not sure if I believe that.” He looked at the chocolate milkshake in front of him. “Now, we’re going to see if you’re a liar or not. The best milkshakes, huh?” Roger studied it for a moment before taking a sip. He shook his head not saying anything.

“Well? What’s the verdict?”

Roger grinned. “That’s a pretty damn good milkshake, Y/N.”

“See I told you! The strawberry is even better!” You said taking a sip of your own. “Try it!” You said pushing your own milkshake towards him.

After trying your strawberry milkshake he exclaimed, “Why didn’t you tell me before we ordered to get strawberry?”

“Your first experience with the best milkshakes needs to be decided by you!” You beamed, and he rolled his eyes.“You know, some people like to dip their fries in the their milkshake. Liz does that, it’s disgusting.” You said, nearly laughing remembering the time with Lizzie.

“That sounds… Aggressively American…” Roger said, a shocked yet disgusted look upon his face.

You and Roger drank your milkshakes and ate the fries (not at the same time, of course), while chatting and laughing at the same time. You don’t know why he made you laugh so much and how he made you comfortable in such little time. It was weird to think how famous he was, yet here he was, enjoying a milkshake with you in a small diner. Against your wishes, he paid for your little meal and left a hefty tip for the waitress, Carol.

You looked at the clock above the diner counter. “Holy crap, it’s 1 AM. I really should be getting home, I have work at 8 AM…” You sighed, putting your face in your hands.

Roger took your hands in his. “You should come with me to my next show, it’ll be great! I could even ask Freddie if you could sing a song!” He looked at you with an excited look on his face.

“Rog, that’s sweet but I could never. Performing in a bar full of people you know is one thing, but in front of thousands I don’t know? That’s crazy. The open mic nights are just a bit of fun, that’s all… I’ll have to see you perform some other night, but right now I’m up for a promotion at work and I really can’t miss my shift.”

“I get it…” Roger said, leaning on his arm. “How far do you live from here?”

You frowned at the odd question, but answered nonetheless. “About two miles, why?”

He stood up from the table, and stretched his hand out to you. “Cause I’m going to walk you home, that’s why. Lead the way, love.”

“Roger it’s pouring you can’t honestly think we’re going to-”

“Come on, then I still have an excuse to be around you.” You blushed a bit, grinning as you took his hand and stood up.

The rain had let up, but you figured you still be drenched by the time you made it home. As you walked outside, you could see the moon slightly peeking out behind the storm clouds. You walked down the damp streets of Seattle, arm in arm. It was cold enough to see your breaths when you spoke, but that just gave you more of a reason to stay close to Roger.

Right now, Roger was telling you about how crazy tour could get, all the parties, all the fans, and all the shows… It was really intimidating, and talking about the topic made you nervous… When Roger looked down at you, he saw the look on your face, and that said it all. He could tell you were kind of freaking out.

“What’re you thinking about right now?” He smiled at you as you walked. “You kind of have a funny look on your face…”

You took a deep breath in… “I just… I don’t know… Why me? I’m just some girl from Seattle nothing special or different-”

“I knew you were special from the moment I saw you on stage in that black dress. The way you carried yourself on stage… The way you interact with people and have all these friends… I’ve shamefully met a lot of girls on this tour, and none of them have been like you.”

You bursted out laughing, despite your attempts to keep it in. “What’s so funny?”

“I’m sorry everything you said is super sweet, and I appreciate it, I really do, but it’s just so sappy and cheesy.” You giggled.

“Hey! Don’t make fun of me, I meant what I said!” Roger said, slightly laughing himself. “Okay… Yeah… It was a little cheesy.”

“Rog…” You stopped walking. “You aren’t gonna just forget me like all of those other girls right?”

“Of course not, I never intended to.” He frowned.

You tried to hide your smile but you couldn’t. After one night, you sort of fell for this stupid boy with messy blonde hair. It was hard not to. You continued your walk, telling him the story of Lizzie shamelessly mentioning to everyone how well you could sing. You told him a lot of stories, too, and in turn Roger told a few tour stories and about his band.

“They really seem like fun, and they all sound lovely. I’d love to meet them sometime.” You said, beaming up at him.

Roger shook his head. “‘Lovely’ isn’t exactly how I’d describe them but… I’m sure they’d love to meet you, too.”

You stopped in front of your apartment building, both of you drenched, the hair sticking to both of your faces. “This is me, right here.” You gestured toward the building.

“I’ll be sure to take note of your address, send you some letters.”

“That’s sweet and all but wouldn’t it be easier if I just gave you my number?” You questioned, and he just nodded. You took a pen out and wrote your phone number down. “Be sure not to wash that off.”

You stood in front of your apartment building’s door. “I have to admit, I didn’t think I’d enjoy this night as much as I did. Thank you, Rog.”

“The pleasure was all mine.” He gave you a small wave.

The rain was starting to fall harder, and the street was dark except for a dim light. You waved, and took one last look at him before you pushed the door open and walked inside. You tried to shake the water out, and realized how could you were now. You were almost at the stairs when you heard a knock on the door, and you turned around to see Roger.

“Now what is it?” You said playfully, as you opened the door and stepped out in the rain to meet him.

“You forgot something” Roger said leaning close to you. He was a lot closer to you now, you could feel your heart beating in your chest, and your face burned. Luckily for you, your blushing was hidden by the darkness of the night.

You frowned trying to think what you forgot. “No, I don’t think so I got my purse right h-”

He interrupted you by grabbing your face, and resting your forehead against his. He kissed you softly, and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words never would be. His hand rested below your ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. You wrapped your arms around his neck, and he pulled you closer until there was no space left between them. You could feel the beating of his heart against your own chest.

You both slowly pulled away, both resting your forehead against one another’s. “Be sure to call me, okay?” You whispered, and he nodded. You gently kissed his cheek once more before breaking apart, still holding his hand as you walked toward the door. When you got far enough, your hands also broke apart, and he allowed it to fall to his side. You opened the door and finally went up to your apartment.

The clock on your nightstand read 2:38 AM, and you shook your head over how much time Roger had taken up. You had to wake up in five hours, but you were pretty sure you’d have trouble falling asleep. As you now laid in your bed, thinking about the night you met and spent with Roger, recounting every conversation, every smile, and every laugh… You knew that this was a night to remember forever.

pineeeeee i watched that pilot episode LONG TIME AGOOOOOOOO!! i think it was my pre-tumblr days and more my livejournal days, and back then it wasn't something i would be interested in i was just checked because of the hype it got and the rave reviews... but it didn't work for me back then, the way i spoiled the ending in one of those '21 disappointing shows reviews vlogs, i love watching those vids when people get to express the negative feelings towards shows just as much as i love it when they express their love..... the disappointing/bad shows reviews can be hilarious ones.....

Joji: Rather shy,really protective of the people around him (especially his little sister),clumsy as hell (you didn’t wanna have him near any open paint cans lol)Alice: Loved to prank her friends,could get resentful quite easily but after some time alone and some quiet thoughts that usually wasn’t a problem anymore,sometimes didn’t know when to keep her mouth shut (as in,she sometimes really was like a bull in a china shop),loved going on adventures with her parents

2. Them several years past their main adventure

(Let’s head into the future then lol,just a few facts though,I don’t wanna bother anyone with ridiculously long paragraphs)Joji: Sanctuary became a vibrant little community for everyone who needed shelter or didn’t have anywhere else to go.He made the Minutemen stronger than they ever where,the castle was now the glowing fortress they needed to show people that they’re back and here to stay.He also finally managed to confess his feelings for Piper,they literally can not be without each other for more than a few minutes!Alice: She,along with Preston and the other Minutemen,rebuild Sanctuary into a big outpost,making it more safe,even safer than pre-war!Her initial thought was to make it a safe haven for her,Shaun and Danse,after his true identity was revealed.She still takes pride in being sentinel of the BoS and aides them whenever she can,trying to change some of the ways Maxson operates.Danse and her have been together for a few years,him,shaun and her have become a true family and she couldn’t be happier.

3. Their parents

Joji: They were so loving and protective of him and his sister.They had the perfect family life,his dad was rather strict,military through and through but he inspired him to become a soldier himself.Alice: Her mom and her were always really close,she did have her ‘phases’ growing up,and no matter what happend,no matter how much they fought,screamed or cried,she always stood by her.

4. Their laugh

Joji: Loud and wholeheartedly.He’s easily amused and laughs a lot! (Try and stop him when deacon makes a joke)Alice: Doesn’t really like to laugh out loud,she doesn’t like other people hearing it because she thinks it sounds hideous.But that one time when Hancock was shit faced drunk and tried to fight a “mirelurk” (which happened to be a tree trunk) with his bare fists,she couldn’t help but laugh!

5. Their crying

Joji: He has no problem crying in front of other people,he doesn’t like sharing his pain,but just having someone to tell him that they understand is all he needs.He likes to keep it quiet though,to not worry his friends.Alice: Her brain just keeps screaming not to cry,to not break in front of anyone,but sometimes she just breaks down.It’s as if flood gates open up.Usually she just wants to be left alone,and she makes that clear.But when Danse was with her,hurled up in some abandoned building,that was the first time when she let it all out.And it felt comforting.

6. Their interactions with their children

Joji: Protects Shaun with his life.He isn’t gonna lose family ever again,synth or not.Alice: I’d say the same about her.Danse and her teach him how to shoot a gun and how to protect himself if it ever comes down to it.

7. Interactions with their pets

Joji: He alway feeds dogmeat treats,he simply can’t say no to his good boy.He always wanted a dog,and now he’s lucky enough to have such a great companion!Alice: Dogmeat is her trusted friend and companion,she protects him with whatever and how ever she can,even if it means taking a bullet for him.

8. Interactions with their significant other

(So,as I HC them right now,they both aren’t in relationships yet,I’ll probably write some Fanfiction about it in the future.So I’ll change it to their ‘crush’)Joji: Always a little awkward,flirts without actually knowing it,blushes a lot.Alice: Rather quiet,isn’t really sure how to put her feelings into words and scared of pushing danse away.

Joji: They’re like family to him.Always making jokes and having fun,they keep each other sane.Alice: She enjoys their company so much,just sitting quietly around the campfire,telling stories and drinking a beer is all she needs to be happy.

Joji: Tries to resolve things without violence,peacefully.Only resorts to violence when everything else has failed,he hates fighting.Alice: Can get angry and 'sarcastic’ real quick.She knows how to handle herself and doesn’t shy away from confrontation,at all.She protects what she loves,even if that means spilling blood.

11. Interactions with a stranger

Joji: Friendly and welcoming!He knows that 'manners’ and friendliness are things the commonwealth is missing.(He also isn’t one to make enemies when first time meeting someone)Alice: Cautious and careful.She doesn’t know what they want or who they are.She doesn’t wanna let her guard down so she doesn't end up with a knife in her back.

heyyyy y’alll!! it’s been awhile since i did one of these and ZOOWEE i have definitely been in the kitchen. i will try to not make this too long but i do not guarantee </3

above are unused gifs for day two of p.son week where i was unsure if i wanted to have the text be in the middle or not have text at all. i was actually gonna go with the one with no text put i was like NO let’s push outside the box and challenge myself. i ended up with the one y’all see on my main and i really like how it turned out! the second gif is a mistake i made for my loki gifset. instead of the yellow text meant for casey and his fish crisis, i used white. but luckily i caught that mistake in time before i published the gifset <33

day one of p/son week was fave male character and i had to go with my mans malcolm <3 i had written the idea down (i wrote SOOO many notes for this week) because when gil said that i was like this will come in handy one day...and it sure did! i was unsure what concept i wanted to go with so i fiddled around with the color gradient and settled with the one i have. the top gif gave me SUCH fucking problems in terms of coloring and mobile disrespects me so badly -_- i really couldn’t understand why it was so yellow and i tried to like...make it not as yellowy but everything i was doing was just...not coming out great so i was like WHATEVER IT’S FINE...but in the end, the gifset is awesome and i enjoy it :) first time using difference/exclusion, too!

i didn’t have anything for day three because, once again, i was doing this before the deadline and i didn’t want to sift through all these episodes to find out which one is my fave but honestly all of them are :) same with the last day/seventh day. it was a free space/choice and i had an idea but i couldn’t download the episode at the hotel for some reason. when i got back and tried to download it...it worked...like c’mon now. i knew i should’ve downloaded the ep before i left but it was getting late and i told myself that the hotel wifi is pretty good asjdkajkldsa GOSH i really should’ve just...downloaded it before i left. anyways...

day four was fave relationship/dynamic and i chose gil and mal :)) love their father/son relationship and it was fun to make their gifs. the coloring in some of them was...gosh, a bit difficult because this show can be tough to color but i pushed through. for almost all my gifs, i used a vibrant psd because i wanted to really showcase that i can pull that off. i love working with vibrant coloring so weeee!! and before i settled with the bobby singer quote, i actually was looking for a song that described a father/son relationship to use instead. i wasn;t having that much luck so i was like wait a minute...what about...what about THEE bobby quote?? so...yeah, i had to y’all </3 IT WAS TOO EASY

day five was fave killer and i actually wrote down martin/the surgeon but i was like...i don’t know what made me switch to ainsley but i did. i think i had a vision of what i wanted to do so i was like let’s go. i found this song on a playlist that’s like “you’re the scorn queen blah blah blah” you know the type and i really liked the lyrics on that song bc it was so her. had a lot of fun with the fonts which was also proving a challenge bc at first i was gonna use bebas neu but i thought it was gonna be a bit much...so i found the font i did on my computer and was like hmm. then i was just experimenting with different fonts to use for the highlighted words. really like how it all came together!

day six was fave quote and i....have a confession to make. i actually had to search up prodigal son quotes because i was kinda running out of fuel. when i saw a post on pinterest with this quote, i was like ALRIGHT this is a great quote and i genuinely think it’s one of the best quotes! the coloring here was rather simple like everything about this gifset is super simple. it’s a typical set for me and it was comforting. back to the coloring, i was also trying to get it to be vibrant as well but i guess i either forget to grab the vibrant psds or they ended up not working out...either way, it’s pretty vibrant in a sense and i really like how it came out :)

this past week was filled with firsts and i am happy that i was able to push and challenge myself to think outside the box and really expand my horizons on what my abilities can be. though i still have a lot to learn and perfect, it was a great first start! thanks for reading!!

I am SO excited to finally be back here in the Survivor Athena series. It’s been over 2 years since my last game here and the vibes so far are so good. Well, I think I'm getting along fairly well with the tribe thus far, at least I don't think I've done anything wrong. I've made jokes about making a 4-man alliance with the voice-chat group which may end up happening, ideally if I can find myself in the majority or just not in the minority would be ideal. I'm guessing this won't be like my first season where I win the first 5 challenges and don't go to tribal. But I could be wrong, that's a previous game luck that I'd like to repeat.

we love a 4 hour call on night one accompanied by a majority alliance. I'm already werkin that social game. So yeah um the game just started tonight and things are going perfectly?? I get along fantastically with my tribe, we're probably super strong challenge wise, AND (it bears repeating) I'm in a majority alliance night 1 bitch!! Really happy I was on the call last night because that ended in an alliance. It was funny how while on call Kori was making his document about everyone and actively saying his opinions on people while we can all hear him. If it's ever useful I'm going to throw that out there (not the doc, just what he said). But also I feel he is going to forget that he gave us the link and he is going to add other alliances he is in throughout the game to his other facts section, and I now have that link saved on chrome so I will be checking back at it periodically. But Amanda and I were messaging each other during the call kind of in shock that he was saying all that and we were wondering if he would give us all that information, AND THEN HE DID. It wasn't even that difficult to get. Kori is really nice and for now it is smart to work with him but I feel that down the line he is going to become a liability. Really hoping we win this first challenge so we don't have to go to tribal but if we somehow lose then I'm going to push for Bodhi to go because he is too cocky and I don't like him.

Hello, the robbed king of navarino is back and ready to snatch the win this time! So where do we begin? I’m on this tribe who’s name I don’t remember because I never remember tribe names, oops. Most of these people are familiar faces to me but not many are that close with me, so I’ll do a quick tribe assessment. Anna - This is my first time meeting her. We’re only talking about Netflix shows right now to hit it off. I didnt follow her season too closely but I think she’s the girl who went to every tribal and lost at FTC, and some people were mad at her?? She said in her intro she’s ready to be the villain again so hmmm, first off there can only be one villain, me. Second off, makes me know to be a little bit weary of you. Andrew - I am SO happy he’s cast. Definitely the closest person to me on this tribe, and hopefully he feels the same way lolol. I want to work very closely with Andrew and hopefully we make it deep. Kevin - We player enchanted together and were on good terms but he went out on a tribe swap. Don’t have much of an opinion game wise. Nathan - Just player furby with him, just gave him third in that, oops. We had a rocky time together in that game and he gave me red flags all the time there because I felt like he was doing a lot of stuff behind my back (which he was) but I just want us to be on good terms here to start. Nicole - Nicole is a really nice person, we aren’t super close though and haven’t been that close in games before. I also know she’s a good player, so I am gonna keep an eye on here. Rhône - Oh Rhône, player my first ORG ever with him. We were the first tribe to go to tribal, he was targeting me, i got people to flip onto my side and we voted him out and then he called me a dick and deleted me. 6 months later... we’ve added each other back LOL. But he extended an olive branch and I never held a grudge against him anyways so ofc I’ll move past it so he doesn’t have a target on me. But we’ll see how things go down later on!

Okay so, um the Athena Goddesses must love me. I went to go to do my first idol search with a random guess. And with a literal 1% of finding the idol... I FOUND LUKE’S IDOL. Well after a full day has gone by it seems I'm in a majority alliance, which in theory is good for me. Though I've also been working on Dani and she says she was approached for a majority alliance, that COULD be the alliance I'm already in and put in the effort of having formed, but it could also be another alliance in the works that I'm not part of, so I'm gonna have to keep my eyes peeled. (It's possibly that the alliance I'm currently part of is not even like a real alliance, in that I could be the only one who's considering it seriously.) Meanwhile Bodhi as much as I like the guy, I feel like he was being a bit too stubborn about the song selection, that could have rubbed people the wrong way, and I think he'd be safe person to recommend for elimination, but with this other alliance potentially floating around, I dunno could be dangerous.

ok I have NO fucking idea if we're doing the intro to this song or not. We picked the best song on the list (not for the comp, but just best in general), but of course we're doing a BULLSHIT COVER OF IT. It's from a movie I think? UGHHH SERIOUSLY? Literally every time I play a Survivor ORG I go to tribal first. I AM SICK OF IT. But I haven't been the first boot yet... So let's hope it continues? It's really annoying being on a small tribe because no one is really "inactive" so there doesn't seem to be much of an easy way out. Not exactly how I expected my first week back in the Athena series to go... but I can’t say I’m surprised either. Going into tribal, I feel like I’ve made the most connections I possibly could have and I’ve got Anna and Jake for sure on my side. It’s deciding WHO I want out that’s the problem. I could get out Rhône who is a clear threat to my game later on, or Kevin who didn’t participate at all. It’s all about balancing out when to make personal game moves and game moves to help the tribe... and I’ve only got one shot at redemption. So it may be time to go for the jugular and ensure my safety later on by campaigning against Rhône.

The Quality of Talio’s fucking video gave me explosive diarrhea. Who edited(?) using a potato? It’s wild Maury. If our tribe ever loses Emily WILL be bullied out of this community. Anyways I’m in an alliance with Julia, Blake, and Ryan called “Bullies R Us” in honor of the late Toys R Us company and we’re all bullies so the name stuck.

I feel calm now, I can breathe. It's a good day. It's such a great feeling to have immunity and know I won't be first boot. I'm really proud of the tribe because we were able to get it done. I am so thankful for Dani being able to edit that video because that must have taken a lot of time and energy, and also really happy that we were the only tribe to have all of our members participate. Well, we won our first challenge, which is great, my idol search has been uneventful, and Dani wants to form an alliance of me her and Nicholas, which is good because she wants to work with me, but could backfire with me already in an alliance with Amanda, Colin, and Timmy. In a perfect scenario we won't ever go to tribal more than once so I don't have to worry about betraying anybody. Hello I AM SO UPSET. Kevin should by all standards be the one going home there’s been no social connection with him, he’s busy and didn’t even attempt. But here we are AGAIN as in every org I’ve ever played with rhone, people want Rhône gone first and it f*cking sucks. Every single time. Why? Like it makes me livid, at this point I rather flop to see Rhône thrive because they deserve it. Hi! My phone is on 4% so this may be short. I have barely been around to talk to my tribe members but I made sure to do my part in the challenge cause I love music videos! So here's a little synopsis of my tribe. Ryan M - one of my good friends in this community. We just got out of a game together a few months ago and we are both very stubborn players. I'm not sure how I feel to see him as much as I love him Blake - I talk to him probably the most! He's really cool so far RTP - only ever heard of this guy but he's an icon. Great guy so far but I'd say he's my biggest threat moving forward Julia - love her!! She's so easy to talk to Mo - I like talking to him though we don't get to much. we have bonded over our gayness LOL Isaac - he has hosted me and I looove him but we haven't talked very much in this game so far?? Also jake price lives literally 15 minutes away from me. He was in crossroads with Ryan and I and he knows exactly how close I am with Ryan, while ryan knows the same about myself and Jake. This could come to bite me down the road for sure so I sorta hope those two are not in the game together for very long with me unless they will get the fuck along. They stress me out LOL

We may not judge a book by the cover, but we always judge a business by its website. This is the reality and we have to deal with it.

Back in time, in the early days of the Internet, creating a website was something that only IT guys were capable of making. With today’s advancement of technology and increasing interest for better and easier solutions when designing websites, almost anyone can design websites without much effort or any coding know-how.

However, this also brings some inconveniences since not everyone understands the concepts and principles of website-building. Therefore, sometimes the creativity goes too far away either due to lack of knowledge or experience or simply laziness.

In order to solve this problem, some companies have created website builder apps. Most of them have pretty nice templates, responsive designs, many options for customizing them, and can be used to create attractive websites with a few clicks of a button. But what most people tend to forget is that a website builder is merely a tool. If you don’t have the right vision and you don’t know the design principles, then you will most likely fail to make your site eye-catching, functional, and efficient.

Instead of having a website conveying the right message to your audience, you will get something that will either make people laugh or ask what was in the designer’s mind. Either way, your visitors will leave your web page without giving you any second chance.

Before listing the worst websites I have found on the Internet, let me be clear about some things:

– Firstly, I don’t mean to cause any trouble or pain to anyone, and I am certainly not making fun of web designers. Therefore, I beg the developers of the listed sites not to take offense at my remarks. I am quite sure some of these sites are designed by beginner designers. We all have to start somewhere. Besides, mistakes easily occur if you don’t have any experience.

– Secondly, I’m not talking about those websites that are just too old and haven’t been updated since their inception. Those sites may look unappealing to us now, but surely, they were created while considering the design principles of their time. But if it happens to display some old designs, it may also be because there is something in the design that’s plainly terrible and hideous.

I have listed these websites keeping in my mind several design principles:

Easy to understand navigation;

Proper use of color;

Right use of animation;

An easy-to-use layout;

An aesthetically-pleasing model;

Appropriate to the topic;

The design elements do not hinder content;

Great content that’s easy to find, navigate, consume, and share.

Simply put, the main idea is that I don’t want to shame anyone. Taking into consideration that we are all used to finding and appreciating the best website designs, I think we should also analyze awful designs and learn from such painstaking mistakes.

Once you have chosen the version you want to use, you get to the next page with a simple menu structure and flashy colors that irreversibly hurt your retina. You will also find a copyright notice since 2001-2002. That should explain the horror, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

All of this looks pretty innocent until you click to visit a particular page on the site. That’s when your monitor bursts out. The color scheme is completely overwhelming and drowns the little information left about the product. It is also extremely challenging to navigate through this website, with small links hidden at the bottom of the page.

You would expect a college art school to have a lovely website that reflected the kind of education you could get from there. Therefore, you would assume Yale’s site was more appealing to your visual senses. Instead of this, the website leaves you wondering if you are really in the right place.

It uses Ruby on Rails, and it is updated by the faculty and students quite often. But the tiled images in the background and the horrible font choices are just inexcusable. The navigation is pretty user-friendly, but the ghastly use of animated backgrounds is enough to put you off.

This website looks and sounds bad from the very beginning – starting with allowing running Adobe Flash player if you want to enter. OK, maybe if you take each element separately, that wouldn’t be too terrible. But if you put them all together and add the music, then YES – it’s THAT bad. If you go to their actual site (www.wegieldrzewny.pl), it looks quite normal. But this only makes you wonder: “Why is the devil grilling himself in a floating BBQ? What’s with that music? Why? Seriously… Why?”

Ling Valentine, the owner of Ling’s Cars, first appeared on the BBC program Dragon’s Den in 2006. The Metro named Lingscars.com as “the worst and weirdest website on the internet” and taking a look at it, I can understand why. It’s filled with flashing graphics, gaudy patterns, and bubble writing.

OK, this is probably the ugliest and most confusing website I have ever seen. The enormous quantity of tiny pictures and links does not help us understand the purpose of this web page. When designing your site, remember that less is more. And this is the best example.

Some small, low-quality images are scattered throughout the page, but nothing to break up the huge amount of text. It hurts. Badly. Maybe they should learn that sometimes less is more.

For decades, James Bond has been gracing the silver screen as a charismatic, charming and ultra-slick secret agent. Yet, the website for the James Bond museum is SOOO FAR AWAY from the classy image of the secret agent that it’s offensive. Its stark background and Times New Roman typeface make it obnoxious. Barely expressing the character of Bond himself, the homepage is an overwhelming, sour and incomprehensible mix of menus, hyperlinks, and random imagery.

Although this may not be the worst website, it’s still terrible. I think the developers tried to have a responsive design, but they failed miserably. If you visit the website using a phone, it doesn’t look that bad, but if you use a laptop or a desktop, the website looks like an image placed in the center of the screen. What’s more, they’ve chosen a design packed with primary colors and a collage of random images. The relevant information is there, but it is confusing due to the busy layout.

This is the company’s website that built Industrial painter. Taking into consideration that it’s a web design company, I can say it’s even worse than Industrial Painter. That’s mainly because you expect a web design company to know about the latest trends and design. Most of them have pretty nice templates, responsive designs, many options for customizing them, and can be used to create attractive websites with a few clicks of a button. But what most people tend to forget is that a website builder is merely a tool. If you don’t have the right vision and you don’t know the design principles, then you will most likely fail to make your site eye-catching, functional, and efficient.
