It's difficult to pick a "favorite" moment from TriStamp season 1, but this one might be it for me. You've got Rem's poignant blank ticket speech playing on top of the frisson-inducing "Luida's Decision", as well as stunning visuals. It is the first moment in young Vash's life where his moral code is validated, where believing in humanity is proven to be the right choice. It is also where he discovers he has his own special gift to give*.
In particular, my exact favorite moment is the sudden, intense flash of light as Vash heals his sister. Each of the humans standing behind him recoils and shields their eyes, then the camera cuts to Vash looking up, eyes calm and wide. Viewing this metaphorically, it says volumes about Vash's character: He looks toward the light. He carries hope with him through the darkest of hours. He never loses his faith in humanity. When those around him doubt, he believes. Through trial and pain, he still manages to see the good.
Vash looks toward the light.
*Vash had worth and deserved love even if he didn't have any special powers, something Rem tried to teach him, but he still felt useless compared to his brother. It's really heartbreaking that what he ends up giving back to 'earn his worth' is pieces of himself.

Today, my husband and I spent the whole day cleaning (we hate doing it) because our friends are coming to visit us.
I came up with the idea of moving a few things and finally making a work space for me in the bedroom, so that my husband could have a painting studio just for himself, and phew, it worked.
I'm so proud of us and it's so nice that I wanted to show it to you and yes, the guy on the couch is my husband. 😂
In addition, you can see our living room and kitchen.
At the bottom there is a sketch of me that my husband drew on some cut up parcel confirmation. I found it very romantic so I framed it and now it placed on my desk. 💕
