I finally got to photographing some knitting I did over winter.

The knitted hoods and Joker’s blouse are by me. The rest of the outfits were sorted from shops.

I have an opportunity to visit the Ministry in Cali soon, and @kabukiaku gave me this lil obitsu11 body as a present!!

I don't want to send Resin Popia across the country so I will to make a tiny Era 4 Ghoul!!!

I really thought the name Bongwater was hilarious so this may be Bongwater Ghoul hehe

I hope I can make them in 16 days! Already bought the head on Amazon. I'll be sculpting onto it.

I’m really pleased with the alternate hand shapes. I’ve wanted to get these for a while, and I’m glad I finally did it. They’re a little difficult to put on and take off, but the added posing possibilities are worth the effort.

hi im new to doll customizing and i wanted to know what doll you were using for your current project

the proportions look super cute and your face up looks great!

I’m using a blank nendoroid head and a ymy 11 cm doll body. Ymy is really close to obitsu’s proportions but ymy’s joints are more secure and it even comes with a stand. I originally used a obitsu 11 head and body but I ended up not liking them much.

Some people take already existing bits and pieces from already painted nendoroids and customize them but I’d rather start with something blank and not ruin finished nendoroid parts. AliExpress sells a lot of doll stuff including clothes too.

(As an ask for the mod, what doll line inspires you most when writing/designing galaco?

Oh! Mod question! I’m inspired by a couple different dolls, actually. The one that inspired me around the time I started my big stylistic change in my art was the Pinky Street series.

Their proportions and infinite clothes options make me super super happy, and I just love how they’re shaped.

The other dolls I take inspiration from are the Azone Picco Neemo D series. Their huge hands and thicker legs just feel so expressive to me.

The last one that brings me a lot of inspo for shape design is the Piccodo Cute Body 10. Just look at those shapes! They’re full of joy!!

I also take inspirations from Licca-chan and Barbie in that they’re fashion dolls with infinite wardrobes, hairstyles, and possibilities!!

Yep, the centaurs' dress first the Obitsu 11 body pretty well ! It's slightly too large and tends to poof up a little bit however (i'd suggest putting bloomers or undies with it...)

Also that dark grey looked too bland for me so I added some red highlights. I like it and it'll fit Carole's color scheme better now !

In other words yeah, I've decided to go ahead and get rats again if I can find a nice breeder nearby. I'm nervous, a lot has changed in "prevailing wisdom" of rat ownership in the last decade it seems. I need to read up on food, substrates, cage stuff, etc etc etc 😵‍💫

Yes! So his special yellow face! It’s called nendoroid face swap 03! Nendoroids have these lil fun face swaps that have different expressions for your figures this special yellow face is in the face swap 03 package, I usually search around on Mercari to see if anyone is selling the yellow face separately!

You will have to use Acetone to remove the factory ink that’s already on it but once it’s off it’s the perfect yellow for a lil Wally! Thank you for asking!

Oh!! Also for a doll body, like an obitsu 11 body or a ymy body, the hands and feet can come off to change the hands, so you can remove the hands and feet and paint them yellow,
