Apex predator of the deep!

LOVES caring for Gl'bgolyb, gives her an excuse to hunt all day long (though she tries to go for chargeless Lusii when she can help it)

Likes catfish due to them not being rated highly as powerful predators, giving her the element of surprise (she also thinks they look adorable and doofy, has this same opinion of eels and sharks and other scary sea beasties)

Sees both sides of the argument about Alternia's current state from her friends Feferi and Sollux, believes she'll find some compromise that will magically make everybody happy and claims to be 'working on it', but she really isn't.

Still a roleplayer of sorts, lurks in online spaces under hemoanonymity to try and scope what 'the people' want from her, including a second Trollian account.

833 < i wasn't aware cool trolls had the ability to blush, mr.serket. Bloodswap AU that's been on repeat in my head for the past couple days, as well as moments I may actually attempt to draw into some form. They must be studied under a microscope.

general non-seadweller nepeta peixes (meenahways) headcanons for @continuousascendant!

while she’s not a seadweller, she still has an affinity for all things water related. she also has a pair of fin-like ears, however, they don’t operate in the same manner. they’re more of a cosmetic if anything.

enjoys knitting! has made a plethora of things in her free time both for fun and as gifts.

the fish puns are consistent and will be used whether possible, even if some of them are a bit of a stretch. when she types, she starts her sentences with a -E to represent a trident.

on the topic of tridents, while she does use a one to fight, it’s a bit more complex. the points of it can retract to create a staff instead. the points are also a bit more curved in to represent claws. she fights with both versions of it equally.

prior to sgrub, she lived in a swampy area instead of in the ocean. her hive was similar to a stilt house but much larger in comparison to the average one. there’s a part of it that sinks into the water, but due to her lack of gills (and the general congestion the swamp had), she never went there often

ALTERFALL: 2024 Recap.

As of last post, ALTERFALL's entire cast of Beta Kids and Beta Trolls have been revealed! Before moving on to any further details such as auxiliary characters (Guardians, Exiles, etc.), Alpha session characters or in-depth looks into the Beta sessions, let's recap - for those who joined partway, or are only joining now!

ALTERFALL is a Homestuck Kidswap/Bloodswap AU in which, due to a single in-universe change, many characters' upbringings are altered due to the landing locations of their meteors being switched. The in-universe event that changes the course of the story and the nature vs nurture approach to changing the characters in their new roles was inspired largely by Inverted Fate, which we definitely recommend to all UNDERTALE fans! Below the cut are some images detailing each character, and at the end a links will be provided to read more about them!

BETA KIDS

A group of four human teenagers who communicate online after meeting each other in a series of odd encounters. Together, they intend to play SBURB: a mysterious video game entrenched in conspiracies, hoping to dispel the wild rumors breeding in the depths of message boards, or at least to have some fun. Unbeknownst to them, the game truly is the catalyst for Earth's apocalypse, with the four of them being thrust into another world and given the task of creating a new universe.

BETA TROLLS

Twelve aliens and previous players of SBURB - or as it is known on their planet - SGRUB. Their gruesome home planet of Alternia has instilled within them all manner of quirks, prejudices and generally colorful personalities (for better or worse), but somehow, against all odds, they managed to succeed in their game and create the universe that birthed humanity. Despite this, these twelve have been trapped in their game session, unable to claim their prize of a new home and festering in their captivity. Connections have been established to the game session of the humans, however, and thus they have gained the ability to send messages to them... At any point in the timeline they so please.

Since the Bloodswap AU won the poll (which btw thank yall so much for voting I legit didn't think so many people would have <3) I wanted to show off some of my outfit ideas for Nepeta as swapped with Feferi!

She has another outfit that fits her general "Huntress" style as that still plays a part with her. It's a large cloak she uses from the remains of a lionfish-like beast. Her crown somewhat hooks around the back of her horns to keep them in place, even though it bugs her that her bangs constantly jab her in the eyes. Her tail is about the length of her body and can be pretty heavy, but she uses the weight to her own advantage in combat.

She still has her claws as weapons but they resemble a fishhook-like style and can be detached.

I'm excited to share the others that'll follow along!
