Some people have asked me why I believe the Ark of the Covenant is an electrostatic device, and I would encourage them to look into the work of Maurice Denis-Papin, who was a descendant of the famous inventor, and who determined that the Ark was capable of holding 500-700 volts per vertical meter when contained in a dry space, dischargeable to the earth by means of it's garlands- and this is even before it has a superconductive substance in it like monoatomic atoms (manna), and before it is placed in something like the Great Pyramid, which has its own electrostatic potential. I would also point out Bruce Rux's research in his book Architect of the Underworld, where he mentions:
"The story of the flood is the conclusion of one of those mythical, epic conflicts. There were others. Sitchen pieces together the story of two civil wars in his work, "The Pyramid Wars", taken largely from the Sumerian "Myths of Kur" tablets, the Lugal-e epic, F.Hrozny's "Mythen von dem Gotte Ninib", J.Bollenrucher's "Gebete und Hymnen an Nergal", and George A. Barton's "Miscellaneous Babylonian Texts", as well as fragmentary tablets from the region. These texts constitue strong evidence for the two Great Pyramids at Giza having been in existence long before Egyptology claims they were. A cylinder seal shows the symbol of Ninurta (Horus) with a victory wreath, between two objects which could only be pyramids- not only are they triangles, bit they are composed of tiers of rectangular blocks. Reference to one of these is given as "the mountains the gods assembled". Inside it were lethal "stones" , with which "the Great Serpent" nearly killed Ninurta in his battle against (the serpent), with their "strong power". ..to "grab and kill, with a tracking which seizes". The "stones" glowed in the dark in different colors, set in various recesses which may be found in the Great Pyramid....one of the weapons was a net, the device of which was located in a secret chamber in the Pyramid." It should also be pointed out that the ancient name of the Sphynx is ARQ UR, possibly related to where the name "Ark" itself came from...
Now even if such an Ark wasn't placed in the Great Pyramid, but instead was placed in a tabernacle in the dessert with WOOL curtains, which, of course, pick up static on their own, then what do you think the Ark would do inside that location? It would just absorb more static electricity of course, until it began to discharge out of the top- as the "presence of God!" Our Order has found six arks, and we know where there is another four, and it is possible that there were hundreds in the ancient world before they got melted down for the previous metals... This reasonably suggests that they were being used for that electrostatic potential in different ways. They are depicted all over the Egyptian temple walls...yet people only think of the Torah or Old Testament when discussing it...

okay so i finished siempre bruja and. hm.
like, the show has POTENTIAL to be good. the story of a slave girl who escapes into the future while about to be burned at the stake, learn about how the future is and then returns to fuck up the lives of racist people in her time? that shit has POTENTIAL. but they stranded carmen with a love story between her and the slave owner’s son, and then proceeded to check every box in the racist bingo on the way (he taught her to read and write, he is one of the “good ones”, he promises to release all the slaves once he becomes the master, etc) and then made her entire motivation being about this white boy who DIDNT EVEN DIE anyway (despite getting shot TWICE), and that ruined it. but i think they can still salvage much of it if there is a season two
also, and i think this may have been more of a problem with the number of episodes or whatever, is that everything felt....very rushed, and a lot of stuff was just skipped over. we never see carmen adapting to the 21st century aside from her struggling with the internet. we barely even see her training her powers. she finds herself an entourage of friends who are ride-or-die for her in....the second episode they meet? and how come she only has one (1) class in this university? or are all classes taught by the same professor?
all the things fall conveniently into place far too often (the dean apparently just...decides to make an exception for her to study in the school, the new owner of the place just straight decides to adopt her, the police has “overwhelming evidence” about the guy being the killer despite the fact that he had an alibi for THREE of the deaths and only the testimony of one girl who couldn’t even remember what had happened, etc.), and they straight up never explained key parts of the story (like how did lucien travel in time if only time witches could do it and only carmen had the magic stone? how did lucien’s girlfriend even know about his dad? how did they keep in contact if ninibe was in the future? etc). they never explored key aspects of carmen’s identity (like. sure women have more voice in the future, but what about black women? or black people in general? how would that have had impacted carmen?) and that felt like a let down.
still, there was a lot of potential there, especially with the friendship between carmen and jhony ki

*Spoilers for Siempre Bruja (ep 1-9)
I fucking knew there was something between Esteban and Ninibe. I knew it! They had serious exes vibes.
But she is all about serving his father now. She really turned out to be a power hungry, evil witch. damn...
Also, side note...I’m really interested in this old cabal that Esteban and Ninibe used to be in with his father.
Aldemar said something like he wanted Esteban to follow in his footsteps, travel through time, and become a great sorcerer. Of course, he also earlier said he wanted Esteban to be brutally tortured in a jail cell and burned at the stake like he was.
Then again, Aldemar was named Aledemar the Immortal because in 1646 he was burned at the stake repeatedly but he would survive and heal as good as new every time.
So, does this mean that that process made Aldemar a great sorcerer? Or does it mean Aldemar was a time traveler, learning different magics?
But then we also have to consider that Aldemar was amazed at modern technology and societal advancement when he finally arrived in the present. Even more, Aldemar stated that Carmen’s witch line was one that guarded and wielded time travel magic which is why he tricked her in the first place.
So now, I don’t think Aldemar is from the future or has mastery over time travel at all. Maybe he was just saying that to Ninibe to manipulate her. He is a proven liar and user, after all.
I have all these questions about the history of this evil witch family, y’all.
Since I don’t think Aldemar is from the present time based on the way he acted when he got to 2019, how did his son Esteban become a college professor in the present? Did Esteban time travel to the future as a child? Did Esteban’s mother maybe send Esteban to the future before she was murdered by Aldemar for being more powerful? And how did Esteban curse Aldemar into those chains in 1646 in the first place? Did he cast a spell that stretched through time and space or did he physically travel back to trap his father? Or maybe Esteban’s mother is the one who cursed Aldemar before dying?
I hope I get some answers cuz the reveal that Esteban is a witch and that Aldemar is his evil witch dad is one of the more interesting story lines in the show.

On Planetary Names
The tradition of naming planets after gods is a practice that originated with ancient Mesopotamians, who considered the wandering stars of their night sky to be the physical embodiment of those gods. This practice was then adopted by the Greeks, who simply chose what they considered to be rough parallels to similar gods in their own pantheon (though they weren’t an exact match). It can be a powerful exercise to go back and examine what those most ancient astrologers thought of the stories unfolding within their night sky. Who were these divine beings reflected in the light of the stars?
Sun -- Utu (Shamash)
God of the Sun, justice, morality, and truth
Moon -- Sin (Nanna)
God of the Moon, protector of shepherds, creator of all things
Mercury -- Nabu (Nebo)
God of literacy, the rational arts, scribes and wisdom
Venus -- Ishtar (Inanna)
Goddess of love, beauty, sex, desire, fertility, war, combat, justice, and political power
Mars -- Nergal
God of war, plague, death, and disease
Jupiter -- Marduk
God of the four elements, magic, knowledge, crafts, creation, and storms
Saturn -- Ninurta (Ninib)
God of law, scribes, farming, and hunting
With a simple examination you can already see varying differences between the this pantheon and their Greek counterparts. Many of the original significations of the planets seem to be drawn from this model as well, whereas the relationship between the Greek mythology and planetary effect can at times become muddied. It’s an interesting exercise to look at things from a different cultural angle, since so often we get caught up in the Greco-Roman worldview in western astrology. Our roots extend much deeper and broader than that, however, and understanding the history of the practice will add richness and depth to your practice.
