“The Academy” held their first ever band practice in a Schaumburg, IL. basement. Mike Carden came in with the riff for their debut song “Memento Mori.” 15 year old Bassist Adam T. Siska didn’t even know how to tune his bass, Mike had to do it for him. At the end of the practice, Mike showcased his 2nd song idea, the riff for “In Our Defense.” Then they all went and got Frosties from Wendy’s.
The Academy was... Bill Beckett, Mike Carden, Zach Borgman, Adam Siska, Mike DelPrincipe.
