Since the Hellsing fandom is more active on here, and I love to see other people's OCs.. (all of you are creative with your OCs, which is *chef's kiss*)
I'd love to introduce my own OC!

Basic info:
Her name is Carmen Marquez. She was born on August 5th in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her name is Herbew and Latin origin, and it means "song, truthful, and poetry." As for her surname, it means "son of Marcos or Marcus."
She is 23 years old. Carmen is the oldest out of her family. (May or may not have the burden of being the "perfect golden child")
She works for Iscariot, and her main (and only) friends are Heinkel and Yumiko.
Carmen has no opinion on Enrico. She doesn't necessarily like him but doesn't hate him, either.
As for her opinion on Anderson, she views him as a second father figure in her life.
She is 5'6", thus making her a centimeter taller than some people. For some reason, she gets a bit insecure of her height sometimes. Carmen either feels she's too tall or too short to others.
She speaks Spanish and English fluently.
Her zodiac sign is Leo. (It's not really important, but I decided to add this in there if anyone's curious)
Carmen is pansexual. She doesn't care what anyone looks. If they're hot, then she finds that person hot. Expect, she won't ever admit that.
Weapons & Powers:
She has two main weapons. One is a rapier and a silver ring with an aquamarine crystal that can turn into a whip.
When her ring turns into its whip form, light blue colored lighting emits from it.
She wears her ring on her right index finger.
Ángel's Suerte (rapier) was given to her by the Iscariots, and Heavenly Twist (ring/whip) is her family's heirloom that is passed down from generation to generation; Carmen was gifted this ring by her father.
Both weapons are required for Carmen to tap into her spiritual prowess. She can create magical glyphs for Ángel's Suerte. As for Heavenly Twist, she will use it if under grim circumstances or if there are few enemies in her path.
Heavenly Twist is used to strike enemies with powerful lashes, depending on how poweful Carmen wants these attacks to be. The enemies are rendered immobile as the electricity will spread out throughout said enemies.
Appearance:
Carmen has long, wavy dark brown hair, which she keeps it in a braid.
Her eye color is amethyst (or purple, whichever term you prefer to use!)
She has small yet noticeable freckles everywhere on her body. They're more on her face, collarbone, and shoulders.
Carmen does wear the standard Catholic nun uniform like Yumiko. Only if she's sent to missions. Otherwise, she prefers to be in her regular attire. This consists of anything beige (her favorite color), usually dresses, skirts, and tops. Her clothing is inspired by her culture in a more modern style.
She likes to wear earrings. Especially her golden cross earrings! Anything with crosses or pearls will catch her attention.
Personality:
Carmen is a considerate and generous woman. She cares about the people around her, being rather sympathetic. Whenever she had free time, she would play with the children at the orphanage or write and send letters to her family. Though, she does have her flaws. If someone confronts her about something, Carmen is harsh, a *bit* short-tempered, and passive-aggressive. She's fiercely protective when it comes to her family or anyone with whom she has a close bond. Upon meeting strangers, she tends to be polite and quiet. She will only speak when she's spoken to.

I would add her backstory here, but I'm holding that back unless anyone asks. Then I'll make a separate post about it!
Feel free to ask questions about her! I love to take every opportunity to gush about Carmen because I only gush about her to one of my friends ahsh
Here's a drawing of Carmen I did two days ago!
(The quality looks terrible, in my opinion, but let's overlook that. When it comes to designing my OCs, I tend to play around with Picrew and try out different makers to see which one would fit my OCs the best.)
That's what I did with Carmen! I thought this picrew maker worked perfectly with her.
The Picrew I used is called The Lady Of Hera by K_pupu!
In conclusion, feel free to ask questions about her! Also, I welcome art of her 🫶🏽

It was just an unfortunate scenario. 0.05 [mm] failure on the rear skid, it's not going to make the difference between winning and losing. So that error wasn't the reason that we were as fast as were. So that's why it's just been painful for us. Because, you know, if we had changed our rear springs, for example, perhaps we would have had better ride.
But anyways, we're hopeful that the performance will continue this weekend. And yeah, just making sure that guys don't overreact. I think we'll be fine. - LH

What do you consider to be mexican middle class culture and why do you hate it so much?
mmmm i had a longer response months ago and it deleted so i got unmotivated to answers this but i think i simplified it: its actually negative culture, basically nothing except the directive of success which must be dictated by the images created by the west's white supremacy image of economic success, so mexican homes look like european tv homes or us tv homes, and the propaganda from the us in particular gets translated simply for us and so the images there like coca cola's or cleaning products, or beauty items and men's health carries usually images of family or the self and so people wanna be that, which means that the only times these mexicans connect to the culture is with popular celebrations, or the food of which they usually have no indepth knowledge of origins, importance or even proper ingredients to prepare either, there's a disconnect entirely with the self and the very definitions of community and culture and all of these things are unspoken, you're expected to acquiesce silently, to conform, to not confront, which creates very tense and often abusive relationships for not complying to that image and daring to challenge its capitalist and white supremacist roots because the thing is that is not new and it happened right after spain was expelled, very few criollos ever truly examined the cruelty and power of their own families in favor of simply gaining control of ignorant populations idk sth like this

novito it really is. That Bad. like the city is named terremoto 😭😭😭 hablando más en serio realmente está sumamente encausada en estereotipos but it doesn't really work because it uses ALL latinoamerican cultures; pretending latam is just A Conglomerate of One culture is harmful for the representation of the community, and it does not only missrepresent but reproduce annoying stereotypes. the problem is honestly a lack of self awareness and the reiteration of latam as Just One Culture instead of a sea of very unique and interesting cultures. it's really annoying that with the resources and posibilities disney has, theyve settled for such a missrepresentative and honestly lazy product <- opinion as latino from there yknow . like i dont doubt some of the Magnitude of the response from twitter is from itbeign twitter but it Is really bad . Also sowrry for the bible and feel free to not respond or post LMAO
thank you for your perspective nunkito. OH fuck i forgot about the terremoto thing yeah that's bad. i do agree with the conglomeration thing FOR SURE thats what always annoys me about latino rep in general. i also forgot to mention that people compared this concept to the casagrandes/loud house which, to be fair, that show doesn't have a monopoly on large families but in general i understand that people are tired of seeing similar stories like that where latino = huge family and want more diversity in represented latino families to AVOID those stereotypes. it definitely presents a specific idea of what we are to non-latino people which really sucks if you dont fit into that from all angles. the lack of cultural specificity is always an issue with these projects and in the us i still think the common generalization is latino = mexican which is telling and why we NEED those cultural distinctions i do agree.
the product itself im not super offended by but the greater process behind it is a huge issue i wish the social media outrage articulated more because on its own it just looks like a hate mob. but nuance doesnt exist and neither does tone on the internet :/ which sucks.
also the fact that there doesnt seem to be many latino voices BEHIND the project to LEND that specificity and cultural awareness for a specific nationality/culture to be represented is really unfortunate and that's what a lot of people were at least implying too. im a bit on the fence because on one hand why are we trusting DISNEY with presenting accurate rep but at the same time they gave incredible projects like encanto coco and the owl house so how do we make sure we get people who know wtf theyre talking about to lead and produce these projects and infiltrate the anglo ass system. its just............. rghghghghghhhhh. its not like im completely ecstatic that it exists but im also more miffed that the energy is going so strongly to this over literally anything else going on affecting us. maybe thats also algorithmic bias bringing that outrage to me though.. life is hell.
