Today's Word With Joel and Victoria Osteen - The Great Reversal
Today’s Scripture Matthew 20:16, MSG “Here it is again, the Great Reversal: many of the first ending up last, and the last first.” Today’s Word We all face times when we feel that we’re at a disadvantage. Others have more experience, more qualifications, more resources, and they get the good breaks, the best positions. It’s easy to feel overlooked, left out, secondary, not having much to…

MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW CHOSEN
Image by Amyd from Pixabay Matthew 20:16 (NKJV) – “So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.” Matthew 20:16 says that many are called. This phrase means that everyone is called. The question is, everyone is called to do what or to be what? God calls everyone to be a leader and to be the best Deuteronomy 28:13 (KJV) – “And the Lord shall make thee the…

"THE IMPORTANCE OF UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE"
THE HOLY SPIRIT’S WORK IN JEREMIAH: God’s call and anointing upon Jeremiah’s life as a prophet began in the womb. God reveals to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 AMPC). This reveals that the…

FAITH!
• “Now FAITH is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” —Hebrews 11:1
• “And without FAITH it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” —Hebrews 11:6
• “I tell you the truth, if you have FAITH as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” —Matthew 17:20
• “Fight the good fight of the FAITH. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. ” —1 Timothy 6:12
• “We live by FAITH not by sight.” —2 Corinthians 5:7
• “Be on your guard; stand firm in the FAITH; be men of courage, be strong.” —1 Corinthians 16:13
Faith is the most important gift a Christian has (other than Salvation in Jesus Christ and God’s Word: The God-breathed, Spirit-filled Holy Bible). With God and faith, the impossible can become the possible. Hebrews chapter 11 (https://bible.com/bible/116/heb.11.NLT) is all about the faith of people in the Bible: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses (and his parents), Rahab and the people of Israel! And these are just the people mentioned in Hebrews 11! There are many more ordinary people throughout the Bible who were chosen by God and, by faith (and with God’s help), did amazing, miraculous things.
Friend (just like the people in the Bible), with faith and God’s help, there is nothing you and God can't achieve together. Keep seeking God’s will, keep praying, keep believing (Lk 11:9-10, Mk 11:24) and you will see miracles begin to happen. Amen and Hallelujah! 🙌🙌🙌

The Last Will be First, and the First Last…
1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 and said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. — Matthew 20:1-16 | Authorized King James Version (AKJV) The Holy Bible: Authorized King James Version; Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s patentee in the UK. The new D20 season trailer comes out tomorrow and in honor of Matt DMing, I wanted to make a couple cast predictions.
First, Brennan, obviously.
Emily Axeford my beloved.
Two emotionally support CR cast members, (hoping it’s either Tal, Liam or Laura)
Another D20 cast member (Ally or Murph) or someone else within the TRPG space that I am unable to think of (like Carlos or Becca)
And Aabria, cause I need the trio to exist within a campaign besides pirates of leviathan.
Please. I beg,,,,

Saturday Before Good Friday: Ten Days That Changed the World
Yesterday, we began a day-by-day look at the Passion Week, so our “week” is actually ten days, starting BEFORE Palm Sunday… Here are some observations about the Saturday before Good Friday, which would have been eight days before Easter. It is a quiet Saturday, a sabbath, so there is no mention of any activity until we read John’s account  of Supper at Bethany. Eyewitness Account (John’s Gospel…

Isaiah 61: Year of the Jubilee
When Jesus began his ministry, it is the first two verses of this chapter that he read aloud in synagogue, saying "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing." #Jubilee #Isaiah61 #YearofGodsFavor
Have any of you ever met a warrior?  There are many men and woman who really do have the “blood of justice on their garments,” soldiers, police officers, guards … warriors. Have ever had an opportunity to listen to their stories, what it took to fulfill their mission, the heartache, the strength and courage, to be the ones in front, protecting all the rest of us from evil? For the love of…

I Am In Anguish In This Flame (Part 2) (220) - November 18 2023
Play on other Podcast Apps The second of two programs looking at Luke 16:19-31, regarding the rich man and the destitute Lazarus. On earth Lazarus was at the gate of the rich man, begging for anything that may drop from the man’s table. After both died (in the physical sense), the rich man and Lazarus switched positions. The man was taken to Hades (the place of the dead) by angels, while Lazarus…

Simple acts of kindness. Things that take the focus off ourselves and onto others.

“After I've been to Macedonia, I plan to come and visit you. I pass that way through Macedonia and I may stay with you for a while, perhaps spend the winter, and then you can send me on my way to wherever I'm headed. This time I don't want to come and see you for just a short time. I hope I can stay for a while with you, if that's what the Lord permits. However, I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, because a tremendous door of opportunity has opened up for me there, though there are plenty who oppose me.” —1 Corinthians 16:5‭-‬9 (FBV)
“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” —Matthew 28:18‭-‬20 (NLT)
“Standing Before God’s Open Door” By In Touch Ministries:
“How is God leading you to share His love with others?”
“The apostle Paul had passion and vision to reach the world with the truth of salvation. As he followed the Holy Spirit’s leading, traveling more than 10,000 miles in a few short years, he managed to share the gospel with people all the way from Jerusalem to Rome. There’s no telling how many lives the Lord has (and will continue to) transform through that one man.
Paul was faced with a big task in a time when there was no mass communication. He could teach only a few thousand people at a time, and his letters, which were widely shared in the early church, could reach thousands more.
Compared to the apostle, we have far more ways to communicate—radio, television, print resources, and the internet—and through them, we can reach millions of people around the world. Even countries closed to the gospel are within reach. How can you play a part in the Great Commission and encourage others to join in doing the work (Matthew 28:18-20)? The door of opportunity is wide open for us to share the good news. We just need to step through it and see all the amazing things God has in store.”
