Queen Azizah seems to me like the cool aunt who attends all family occasions, spoils all the children so much in love with her husband and she ils always there for the gossip
I know that her name is Azizah and she is Malaysian. That's literally all I know about her. You could show me a picture of her and I wouldn't recognise her.

“Honestly dislike how Jordanian Royals (Queen Rania, Rajwa, etc) wear the "hijab". If you're not a hijabi, it's your choice I don't have a problem with it. It's just disrespectful to put it on for events like an accessory and not wear it properly. If you're going to wear it put it on properly, or don't wear it at all. They don't even pin it at all so it just starts falling off, their hair is completely out in the back, embarrassing and disrespectful. They look like Harry's wife wearing the hijab (she did so disrespectfully and had her dress unbuttoned so her cleavage was showing). The only time I've seen Queen Rania wear the hijab properly is whenever she has been in Saudi for Umrah, but that is just because she has to, if she really respected the hijab she would wear it like that whenever she wore it no matter where she was, same with the other members of her family. Rania and Rajwa should look at the Brunei Royal Family or Malaysian Royal Family, the women in those families who aren't even hijabi's put on the hijab properly for certain events (Princesses Anisha Ameerah, Azeemah, Fadzilah, Crown Princess Sarah Sarah etc from Brunei). Anisha, Sarah, and Ameerah all look stunning in the hijab (not the Fadzilah and Azeemah don't I just like Anisha, Ameerah, and Sarah's style better) the same thing can be said for a lot of the non-hijabi members of the Malaysian royal family.” - Submitted by kaurisato
“In Islam, women visiting graves was a bit frowned upon because some women wouldn't dress appropriately or would make a show of glamour and fashion there, and I feel like the jrf women did exactly that. Don't get me wrong they were pretty good dresses but the lengths were not appropriate islamically for such an occasion at all. And don't get me started on their hijabs. The jrf women could really learn from the brunei rfs women like anisha who aren't hijabis but put it on properly for engagements.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Slightly less fun (3)
One occasion I remember was very special, because the admiral himself was there, the highest ranking officer in the land, and he was also related to the royal family, or something. So everybody was on his very best behavior, and I was specifically instructed to first stand at attention before him, then someone would say my name and rank and platoon
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then I was to kneel and bow my head, until the admiral spoke or made a gesture or something.
Tumblr media
I remember that well not just because of the honour of meeting someone high up like him, but because he actually chatted to me for 15 minutes or so. He was clearly pleased with me, complimented me on my uniform, asked where was I from, what was my family like, what did I like the most about the discipline, and so on. I would just sit there on my knees, head down, trying to keep still.
Tumblr media
He then ‘suggested’ that since I was clearly such a fine cadet, he could arrange for me to spend some time in the elite army cadet summer camp. When he said that, I could here people around whispering ‘that it was a real honour’, that ‘they had sent their son there too, it was the best thing ever for a boy’, ‘So-and-so’s son had been a lot of trouble but he had come back a completely wonderful cadet’, and so on. This was very alarming to me, because even though I was a devoted cadet, I was never going to enter into the Malaysian armed forces, as I was a foreigner and I was likely to move to another of Dad’s postings in a few years.
But this was an offer that could not be refused. So when the admiral asked me outright ‘We shall make arrangements for this summer then, won’t we, cadet?’ all I could say was ‘Cadet is deeply honoured, Sir, and will do his best to do you proud, Sir’.
And I was doomed. I was good at drill, I was an immaculate school cadet, but the summer cadet camp was eight weeks of nothing but the kind of insane strictness I had encountered before entering the reception. But that’s another story.

Task 2
In this legal analysis, the Communications and Multimedia Act of Malaysia (the Act) for its compliance international human rights standards, in particular those on the right to freedom of expression. This concerned that the Act has been invoked frequently in the recent years to restrict active social media usage in Malaysia. It has been used by law enforcement agencies and the Attorney General of Malaysia to arrest, investigate and charge individuals expressing progressive or dissenting views. At present, a constitutional challenge is being mounted against the Act at the Federal Court. The Act is not the only piece of legislation that is invoked to suppress freedom of expression in Malaysia, in particular online; other laws include the Sedition Act 1948, S114A of the Evidence Act 1950 and the Film Censorship Act 2002. Often, charges are brought jointly under several laws simultaneously. The most prominent cases of prosecutions are lots, but here I would like to focus to a real issue.
• Case of Khalid Ismath who was arrested under Section 233 of the Act in October 2015 for allegedly posting a comment on Facebook. He was charged with 11 alleged offences under the Act and three more charges under the Sedition Act for the same offences. Khalid was subject to several bail conditions including a requirement to report to the nearest police station every 2 weeks, a ban on travel outside of the country and his passport was confiscated by the court. On 29 October Khalid Mohd Ismath was released on bail.
On 13 October 2015, human rights defender Mr Khalid Mohd Ismath was charged with 14 alleged violations for posting ‘offensive’ comments on social media. He is being held in detention since 7 October 2015. Khalid Mohd Ismath has organised several public forums focussing mainly on freedom of expression and religion. For several years he has been actively participating in social protests and using social media to highlight cases of human rights violations and the misuse of power by the enforcement authorities. In 2012, he was arrested several times as a result of his involvement with the Bersih 3.0 rally, which was calling for reforms within the electoral system in Malaysia in order to ensure free and fair elections. It was reported that prior to the Court session police officers tried to coerce his confession by offering Khalid Ismath a chance to speak to his family if he confessed to the alleged crimes. However, the human rights defender pleaded not guilty in all 14 charges. His application for bail was rejected due to alleged risk of Ismath’s absconding. On 9 October 2015, the human rights defender was re-arrested at the end of his three-day remand period at the remand centre in Johor Bharu Selatan. Following his original arrest on 7 October 2015, he was due to be released on 9 October. However, he was kept in detention under the Malaysian Sedition Act (1948). The detention order was issued on the request of police officers who accused him of insulting the Royal Family and the police force through allegedly ‘offensive’ comments on social media in which he had referred to the practice of abuse of power by the police forces.
He was accused of violating the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Act (1998). The police officers confiscated his mobile phone and computer. During his detention, colleagues posted messages of support from his Twitter account.
Conclusion, In February 2016, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) used its powers for the first time to blanket block websites that published content related to Malaysia’s 1MDB scandal. On 25 February 2016, popular online news portal, The ready to provide further assistance in this process. Malaysian Insider (TMI) was blocked by the government. Further, blocking of news sites, like Sarawak Report and Asia Sentinel; the on-going intimidation and lawsuits against media such as Malaysiakini; and the arrest and deportation of two Australian Broadcasting Corporation journalists are part of a worsening crackdown on media freedom. This was also seen during the recent Sarawak state election with the barring of a foreign journalist from UK Channel 4 News, from a post-election press conference attended by the prime minister.
