Mini-review:
We've finally reached the end of Young Royals, which has remained as enjoyable as always until its very last second. I must admit I felt like the show kept going in circles during these final episodes, and like maybe they took the angst a bit too far this time round. On top of that, sometimes subtlety went out the window when it came to handling certain social issues. But still, the finale itself was so f**king perfect and cathartic that it more than made up for any problems. I will definitely miss this show, cause these characters are so well-written and brilliantly-acted that you can't help but immerse yourself in their world.

4. favourite dish specific for your country?
Flygande Jacob! It's a casserole made from grilled chicken pieces topped with bacon, banana and peanuts in a cream and chili sauce. You eat it with rice! Typical 70ies food but I fucking adore it, it's sweet and savoury and chickeny :-D
6. most hated song in your native language?
Probably "Jag vill ha en egen måne" by Ted Gärdestad. He's one of our most beloved singer-songwriters and I never got the appeal. He's inescapable, which adds to the disgust. Or anything by fucking Magnus Uggla, I hate that guy.
8. do you get confused with other nationalities? if so, which ones and by whom?
I got the classic Swedish/Swiss mixup when I lived in the states, and I sometimes got people thinking I was Irish based on my accent - don't really get what that was about, I sound nothing Irish.
18. do you speak with a dialect of your native language?
Not the most pronounced one, but I do have a distinct Sörmländsk dialect. It's just that it's very close to Rikssvenska (like the baseline sound and word choice most often used on tv and radio) that it doesn't sound special :-D Most of the time it comes out in dialectal words rather than phonetics.
