“Jack, it's about damn time you showed up for an episode of my podcast.” Alex said after the both of them sat down and got comfortable where the podcast recording would take place.
“What can I say? I'm a busy man. And it's good to be here.”
“Definitely busy seeing as you just recently put a total of three babies in your wife, but we'll get to that later. We're focusing on you, first.”
“Look, I can't help it if my wife is fine as hell. Might as well go hard or go home.” He replied while shrugging and of course Alex laughed.
“Don't worry, you'll get to talk about how much you love your wife in due time because we know that’s a running theme with you. But first, I want to know more about Jack Harlow. Did you always want to be a rapper? And where did that drive come from?”
“Always wanted to be one and I remember selling my CD's back in middle school. My mom was a heavy influence on that and she would freestyle with me in the car when she would drive me to like soccer practice and different things like that.”
“That's so cute and adorable that your mom influenced you. Now when people think of rap, Kentucky isn't really the first place people think of.”
“Not at all and I'm from Louisville and a lot of people don't know that it is literally an entire city. When people hear Kentucky, the first thing that they think of is some back roads country ass shit when it's not.” He answered as he thought about when he first started and some people would tell him that he would never make it out Kentucky let alone Louisville.
“And did a lot of people support you? Or did they try to discourage you? How was that growing up there?”
“It was about half and half. A lot of people were confident that I was going to make something of myself, but others weren’t. But I’ve been serious about this shit from day one and it’s slowly but surely paying off. My girl wouldn’t let me quit for nothing even if sometimes I wanted to.”
“Now, what were you like in high school? Were you the popular jock, the nerd, part of the science club? Did the girls fall out over you?” Alex asked while getting comfortable in her chair and adjusting.
“I mean I always had friends and I wasn’t the one who would be stuffed into lockers or some shit. Like with certain things people knew not to mess with me. And it always seemed like girls always liked me, but when I set my eyes on one, that was it. It was a done deal. We weren’t even together yet and people knew that she was mine and they would respect it.”
“So, I want to ask you since you said that about people knowing that she was your girl and respecting it. Now we are talking about the First Lady, correct?”
“The fucking one and only. Had my eyes on her ever since I was fourteen.”
“A little birdie told me about you hiding a boy’s clothes after gym was over because he liked her and wouldn’t leave her alone? Not baby Jack getting jealous.” Alex said while laughing and Jack soon joined in along with her.
“Look, he asked for it and I didn’t have a problem with him after that. Like dude get the fuck away from my girl.”
“And what did she do when she found out?”
“She never found out until we moved to Atlanta after we graduated so she had absolutely no idea. But, she definitely got on my ass. But she’s not so innocent either, but you’ll have to ask her about that.”
“Yeah, she’s definitely the next person I need to have on here. Now what is the album that you think is your best work or the one that you are most proud of?”
“Hmm, Jackman hands down. No features, just me talking and getting my feelings out. I was able to be home in Louisville with my wife for about a year and a half and I took that time to reset and get my mind right because a lot of shit had been going on and happening around us and I felt that it was important for me to do that, but now we’re back to making the catchy shit that people can really vibe to and feel good music so I’m excited for this new era.”
“Lovin’ On Me! Now I am loving your new song and I notice that it says I don't like no whips and chains and you can’t tie me down. So no whips and chains in the Harlow household?”
“I… look I have a story about that. It’s not the fact that there’s absolutely none because at one point in time there was.”
“Damn, do I need popcorn for this because I feel like I need popcorn for this.” Alex added while busting out laughing.
“So, I tie her up, blindfold her, we got the nipple clamps, all that shit, and I handcuff myself to her to get her to stop moving and I lost the key in the process. So, she notices that I get quiet and she’s freaking out asking me what’s wrong and when I finally tell her she’s like call Urban. He’s our best friend who lived with us at the time and he has seen some wild shit and I know he’s so fucking tired of us. So with my free hand, I use my phone to call him and he comes and sees what the situation is, finds the key and leaves us there and goes to sleep because we had woken him up and he was pissed. So he just left us there until the morning.”
“I LITERALLY CANNOT! But, was it really a punishment though? Handcuffed to your wife so I can imagine a few more rounds came after that?” Alex asked while wiggling her eyebrows.
“More than a few.”
“Now talk to me about the other wild shit that he has seen.”
All Jack did was hang his head as he busted out laughing.
“I… I don’t even know where to fucking start. Urb is always getting pulled into the middle of shit that he absolutely had nothing to do with.”
“That’s what best friends are for. Now, how do you feel about choking?”
“Anything she wants, I will do it. Nothing is off limits for her. I admit that it’s not my favorite thing in the world, but if it’s going to make her orgasm faster, I’m all for it. She definitely comes first. Pun intended.”
“Oh, so you’re all about putting her needs first in the bedroom?”
“And in life, that’s my baby and her needs and wants are always going to be met. Been doing that since we were fifteen when we were officially together.”
“Now you said nothing is off limits when it comes to her, so she’s just like ‘babe, let me peg you’.”
“No, absolutely not, no one is sticking anything up my ass. I love my wife through and through, but no. That’s a little too much for me. Come on Alex, I’m not that adventurous, my lyrics literally say ‘I’m vanilla baby’.”
“Well, I might have put an idea in your head that you’ll want to try with her later.”
“Nope.”
“Favorite sex position?”
“Do you…. Do you not know what they call me?” Jack curiously asked her in disbelief.
“No, what do they call you?”
“Missionary Jack.”
“Please shut up because literally no one calls you that, you call yourself that.”
“I swear that’s what they call me!”
“And who gave you that nickname?”
“If it was someone other than my wife then that’s a problem. She’s called me that since forever.”
“What do you like about it?”
“It’s underrated on so many levels. I swear my triplets were conceived in missionary. Because here’s my thing, I’m face to face with her, at one point her ankles are going to be behind her head or on top of my shoulders and I’m going the fuck in.”
“Well damn, what’s her favorite position? I’m going to get her on here, but I want to hear it from you.”
“She likes to think that she’s in control, so she likes to ride me. But she knows who runs this shit. My kids aren’t the only ones who call me daddy.” Jack responded while smirking and all Alex did was playfully roll her eyes.
“Your wife is going to get you for that one and I’m going to let her have at it.”
“Yeah that’s how it all starts and it’ll end with me fucking her brains out like it always does.”
“You’re going to be in for it when this is over. Hmm, kinks?”
“I love praising her because I know it makes her reach her peak faster, but definitely a spit kink.”
“OH! TELL ME MORE! I am intrigued!”
“Alex, you are funny as shit.”
“I’m serious! Out with it.”
“Spitting in her mouth and watching her swallow it.”
“Are you sure you’re as vanilla as you say you are, because? Yeah I’m going to need wifey here to get her perspective. Do you think she’s ever faked an orgasm while you were in her? Would you be able to tell?”
“I know her body inside and out and she better not do that shit and have me find out about it. But, I don’t think she has.”
“Hand jobs, blow jobs?”
“Fuck yeah, I love me a good hand job or blow job.”
“Craziest place that you’ve gotten one or had sex period?”
“On a plane to Australia. We thought everyone was asleep, but of course everyone except Urb. This was what I meant when he is always getting caught in the middle of some shit that has nothing to do with him. It was difficult because I’m so tall, but we made it work.”
“What would an erotic vacation look like for you?”
“Definitely fucking her brains out non stop in some tropical ass location. We’re not leaving our room for the entire time that we’re there.”
“Ooohh, now if you could have sex in any location in the world, where would it be?”
“Hmm, I never really thought about it. Maybe some exotic ass shit like behind a waterfall or something. But, I was also thinking the white house lawn because I don’t mind an audience.”
“NOT THE WHITE HOUSE LAWN!”
“YOU ASKED!”
“Have you ever had or thought about trying tantric sex?”
“I’ve never really thought much about it, but I would have to do my research. If wifey wants it, I’m down.”
“She really does wear the pants in your relationship, huh?”
“Alex, like I said before, you’re funny and no she doesn’t.”
“I literally do not think that anyone will agree with you. If I were to do a poll right now, everyone will probably say that she does.”
“I let her think that she does.”
“Mmm hmm, sure. Now what is your dirtiest sexual fantasy?”
“I don’t even know since I’m pretty adventurous when it comes to it and not many things are off limits.”
You had just gotten to the hotel that Jack was staying at while he was filming for his episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast when you decided to surprise him. He had been going non stop since the release of his new single and getting ready to go on The Kentucky Tour.
Of course Urban was with him and sent you a text saying that he was almost done and you promptly took a quick shower and slipped on one of Jack’s favorite lingerie sets which happened to be black and purple. You threw on your black silk robe in case you got cold and simply laid out on the bed and played on your phone waiting for your husband.
You had fallen asleep waiting for him when you felt him reach down and place a kiss on your lips and your eyes fluttered open.
“What are you doing here?” He playfully asked as he was now kneeling on the bed in front of you and playing with the ties on your black silk robe.
“I wanted to surprise my husband since he’s been working so hard and I figured you would want a little time to have me to yourself.” You answered while motioning for him to lean down so that you could kiss him which he quickly did.
As Jack deepened the kiss, he took the opportunity to undo your robe and took in the sight of you in front of him.
“A sight that I can never get tired of seeing.”
He started to kiss down your neck when you lightly pushed him away from you and flipped the two of you over as you went to undo his pants and slide down his boxer briefs.
“Last night on the phone with you wasn’t enough and I decided that I wanted you in my mouth as soon as possible.”
The night before, Jack was complaining about missing you so just like you had done many times before, you gave him a show which ended up with him cumming multiple times as he watched you.
Jack had now tossed his shirt to the other side of the room and you had gotten his boxer briefs completely off before taking him in your mouth painfully slow making him grab the back of your head and buck his hips towards you.
“Baby, do not fucking tease me right now. All I basically did was talk about how good I fuck you in that podcast and we need to get to it before I fucking bust. This shit is starting to hurt and take that lingerie off.” Jack whined as you were making yourself comfortable.
Before taking him back in your mouth, you did as you were told.
“Patience, my love. You know that I’m always going to make it worthwhile.” You answered him as you went back to pleasuring him with your mouth and your eyes began to water as you felt him reach the back of your throat.
You were taking your slow sweet time and even though Jack was getting annoyed, he was in entirely too much pleasure to say anything at the moment knowing that when he finally did cum in your mouth that it would be worth it.
“Ahh fuck. Come on baby, go a little faster than that.” Jack pleaded with you, but then you took him out of your mouth and went to the edge of the bed and laid down upside down.
“Get over here and face fuck me then.” You said while giggling and Jack wasted no time getting in front of you and sliding himself back into your mouth while throwing his head back in pleasure.
“Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, ohhhh shiiiiit.”
Jack had now taken a hold of both sides of your face and began moving in and out of your mouth as you reached down to play with your clit knowing that if he saw you playing with yourself that he would cum faster.
“Come on baby, open that pretty mouth of yours wider for me. You can take more of me, you’re doing such a good job.”
You did as you were told and inserted two fingers while still continuing to play with your clit with the opposite hand as you felt the spit from your mouth leaking down the sides of it.
“You playing with your pussy for me? Add another finger for daddy.”
Listening to Jack, you added another finger as he reached down to spit on your clit which made you increase the pace of your fingers.
You couldn’t help but to moan while Jack was still in your mouth and knew that you were going to reach your peak soon.
And as if right on cue, you heard Jack.
“Fuck, baby.” He tightly held onto you as you hit your peak and felt the cum shooting down your throat and out the sides of your mouth, but you continued sucking him off not showing him any mercy.
“Hold on!”
You shook your head no as you continued to move him in and out of your mouth, but finally let up when you felt another load shoot into your mouth and quickly swallowed it. Jack slightly moved away from you as you sat up and turned around to face him smirking.
“Wait until I get your ass for doing that.” Was all he said as you reached up to kiss him. You caught him off guard as you reached down and slowly began to jerk him off when he broke the kiss and looked down at you.
“Get your ass to the top of the bed and spread your legs so I have enough room.”
You moved until you reached the top as Jack hovered over you and simply looked down at you to admire you.
“What, babe?” You asked as you were now beginning to shy away from him, but all he did was lightly grab your face and kiss you.
“Nothing, it’s just my wife is so gorgeous and I’m about to have her screaming at the top of her lungs with how good I’m about to make her feel.” He answered as he began to rub small circles along your clit and reached down to kiss you while slipping his tongue in your mouth.
When you least expected it, he slowly entered you making you gasp against his lips which he quickly quieted you with another kiss as he began to move.
“Look at my pretty girl taking this dick.”
Jack then lifted your legs so that they were on the top of his shoulders and began pounding into you making you gasp as he caught you in another kiss.
“Shiiiit.” Was all you could mutter as you wrapped your arms around Jack’s neck as both of your noses were touching.
As Jack continued to keep the same pace, he kept his eyes on you and simply smirked.
“Open your mouth.”
You felt warm liquid slide down the back of your throat as he continued to move and place small kisses along your breasts.
On your right breast, he placed a small kiss and bit down and continued to suck on the same spot as you were letting out a series of curses and whimpers.
That was going to leave a mark, but you would deal with that later.
Jack then reached down to play with your clit and he quickly went to suck on your other breast knowing that he would have you come undone in front of him in less than a minute.
“Fuck, baby. Don’t stop, don’t stop.”
Jack then felt a rush of warm liquid hit the bottom part of his stomach and smirked as he reached up to kiss you.
As you were slowing down your breathing, Jack continued to rub small circles along your clit while kissing down your neck.
Once you felt that you recovered enough, you reached over to the bedside table and pulled out a bottle of lube that you had brought and handed it to Jack as you moved to get on all fours.
All he did was smirk at you before opening the bottle as you were making yourself comfortable in front of him.
You had only done anal a handful of times, but you found yourself wanting it more and more lately and of course, Jack wasn’t opposed.
“Baby, remember you have to relax so I can get in easier.” You heard him say as he was getting ready behind you.
“Yes, I know.” You softly answered as you felt the tip.
Jack noticed he was meeting resistance so he added more lube and had you arch your back a little bit more before trying again.
He was moving in slowly and didn’t hear anything from you which had him concerned and he simply stopped.
“Baby, you okay? You aren’t saying anything.”
“I’m fine, just keep going.”
After a few minutes, he was fully in and gave you a minute to adjust and made sure that you were okay.
“You ready for me to move?”
All you did was nod towards him as you felt him moving in and out of you.
“You’re doing so good, you’re doing so good for me baby. Arch your back a tiny bit more.”
Complying, you slowly but surely started to notice how good it felt as Jack reached down and you felt him insert what felt like a vibrator in you.
You had no idea when he had time to get it, but you weren’t in any way, shape, or form complaining.
“Babeee, oh fuck.”
“Got a new toy to use on you.”
Between the vibrator and Jack pleasuring you, you felt your legs begin to get weak and the perfect arch that you had once had was forgotten as you were trying to hold yourself up.
Jack noticed this and instead of turning the vibrator down and decreasing his pace, he did the opposite and turned it up while increasing his pace making you scream out.
“Baby…. Mmm… fuck I can’t…”
“Yes you can and you will, arch your back for me. Such a good girl.”
Jack reached down to play with your clit and your orgasm hit you like a ton of bricks making you scream out as he slid out and released all over your back.
He then slid the vibrator out of you as you collapsed on your stomach and reached down to kiss your neck.
“You okay, down there? You were so good for me.”
You let out something of a groan letting him know that you were okay and he instantly laughed while sliding off the bed and pulling you by the ankles so that you were at the end of the bed and Jack was on his knees.
“Get on your knees for me because we are nowhere near done.”
This made you do a double take as you looked back at him in confusion.
“You didn’t think you were about to come all this way and I wasn’t going to taste my wife’s pussy, did you? Spread them damn legs.”

Safe and Sound
Jack Harlow Masterlist
Request: I really like the idea that Jack always leaves his girl in the "care" of one of his inner circle whenever he gets pulled away at an event. Like he's gotta go on stage or go to another area of the venue and she can't come, so gets his good luck kiss and when he says bye to Like Clay or Urban, he just whispers in his ear "keep an eye on her" or "keep her close" or "watch out for my girl". Like she probably doesn't even know that he does it, and that's kinda what makes it all the more heart warming. Like yes, the area is private and there's probably security around, but the fact that when he can't physically be there to protect her, he turns to his best friend or brother to keep the most important person in his life safe.
Warnings: language
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For as long as Jack could remember, the only thing he wanted to be was a rapper. He ate, slept, and breathed music for over a decade trying to make a name for himself, and while it took a while, everything he poured into himself and his career came back to him tenfold, and sometimes he couldn't believe how lucky he was. The good: amazing fans, financial security, and getting to live his dream definitely outweighed the bad, so he took everything in stride.
There were definitely times where he wished he could leave the house without being recognized, or didn't have a security team on his heels wherever he went, but that was the name of the game, and he'd make the sacrifice over and over again to be where he is now.
He didn't hold the same expectations for the ones that he loved, though.
While his friends and family understood that Jack Harlow was no longer just a kid from Louisville, and their lives were going to change along with his, Jack wasn't willing to put them in harms way for his sake. He could deal with the crazy fans, the big crowds of people, and the lack of privacy, because that's what he signed up for, but his people were off limits.
It also meant that the circle of people that he could trust was incredibly small, and honestly, he liked it that way. He knew that he could count on the people that stood to the left and the right of him, and that made all of the craziness a lot easier to deal with.
When you and Jack started dating, you were so caught up in the whirlwind of being in a relationship with someone you respected and cared for so much, you hardly noticed how much your life was changing. You'd never been with someone famous, let alone someone as famous as Jack, and while you were still getting used to the security team who accompanied you on some of your dates, waiting in the wings while you ate dinner or watched a movie, for the most part, your life was surprisingly normal. You were always a very headstrong person who valued their independence, and you were glad that your relationship allowed you to hold onto a semblance of control or Jack's lifestyle might have sent you running for the hills.
You thought it was a testament to the type of person Jack was and the life he led, down to earth and understated, but you had no idea how creative he had to get to keep you safe.
Tumblr media
"What do you think of this top?" You twirled in front of your phone that you had propped up on your dresser, with Jack on FaceTime. He let out a long yawn before he narrowed his eyes to get a better look at the sheer blouse you were holding up to your form. "Looks good", he mumbled out, throwing himself on his hotel bed. It was only 8:15PM in Louisville, but 1:15AM in London where Jack currently was for work, and he was struggling to keep his eyes open while the two of you caught up on your days.
"Only good?", you asked as you gave it a second look in your mirror, a frown on your face. "I don't want to just look good tonight."
Jack ran a hand down his face as he let out a deep chuckle. "Ok, you look very good. Was that more convincing?"
"No", you answered curtly, tossing the top onto your bed before going back into your closet. You came back out wear a simple black sweater. "What about this one?"
"Uh, maybe just lift the bottom up a little bit." Jack directed you with his hand in an upward motion, and you lifted the shirt up around your belly button in a makeshift crop top. "Just a little more." You pulled the shirt over your bra, not quite understanding. "Jack, what are you doing?"
"Just a little bit more." You pulled it up over your head, your arms held up in the air. "Good now take it all the way off so I can see you without anything on." You let out a huff when you caught onto his joke, flipping him off in the camera. "You're an ass, you know that?" Jack could barely hear you over the roar of his own laughter, tickled with his own joke. "Where are you going anyway? I thought you were staying in tonight?" You could hear the apprehension in Jack's tone.
"Please, Jack, don't start." You let out a huff, knowing where he was going with this. "I'm going out with a couple of friends to a bar to celebrate Gigi's birthday, and then coming home, okay?" You had a run in with a crazed fan while out one night a couple of weeks ago, and while you were shaken up in the moment, the incident was long forgotten, in your mind at least. Jack was away from work, and the fact that he wasn't there to protect you, and you had no security around made his stomach turn.
"I can call Dave and he can be at your apartment in like 10 minutes. I'd feel a lot better if you let my security team go with you." Jack was trying his best not to be overprotective, but he couldn't help it when it came to you.
"And I'd feel a lot better if you trusted me." You gave him a pouty lip and he folded immediately, letting out a exasperated sigh. "Fine, but please text me when you get there and get back home, okay? Even if I don't answer right away."
"Okay promise. I love you, babe." You threw on a graphic tee and leather jacket before blowing a kiss to Jack, hanging up with him, and grabbing your purse to head out the door.
Tumblr media
The bar was packed for a Thursday night, pop music blasting over the speakers as you made your way through the crowd, finding a table at the back of the room. You weren't scared to run into another fanatic, but you also wanted to play it safe, knowing it would give you and Jack piece of mind. You snapped a selfie of you and your friends and sent it off to Jack as confirmation you made it safe.
"Well look who it is!' You lowered your phone to see Urban and Clay smiling back at you, beers in both of their hands.
"What are you two doing here?", the inflection in your voice signifying your genuine confusion to see Jack's best friend and brother standing in front of you. You were very surprised to see them here, considering that a dive bar was neither of theirs scene.
"Can't two people enjoy a couple drinks at a bar on a Thursday night?" Urban slid into the booth next to you, wringling into his spot, Clay following in behind him.
"Two people, yes, you two, no. If I remember it correctly, you said "bars like this are contributing to the collapse of Louisville's culture." You held up your fingers in quotations. Urban went on a very long rant during dinner last month when you asked him if he knew of any knew any new places to go out downtown, and you hadn't brought it up since.
"I made him come out with me", Clay cut in, knowing you'd get the truth out of Urban sooner or later, "I was going stir crazy at home." He avoided eye contact with you, taking a swig of his drink.
You narrowed your eyes at both of them and they squirmed under your scrutiny, awkwardly shifting in place. You were incredibly intuitive and knew something else was going on, and Jack definitely had something to do with it. Something was off, and while you wanted to get to the bottom of it, this night wasn't about you, so you put it to the side until later, letting Urban and Clay join your group for the night.
Tumblr media
Jack came home from London a couple days later, but was so wrapped up in prepping for his performance in New York, you didn't get the opportunity to ask him why his best friends just happened to be at the same location you were last week. You didn't want to assume he was sending his friends to check in with you, instead of just trusting you to be careful on your own, but it was just too much of a coincidence.
The night of the show you hung around the greenroom for a couple of hours while Jack was doing soundcheck and and running through last minute changes with his team. Jack had security posted at the door of his dressing room and didn't let anyone pass through the hallway where he was getting ready, but you didn't think much of it because that was protocol for him and his team's safety.
Clay and Urban found Jack as he was walking off the stage, Jack adjusting his in ear as he went through the motions of his performance in his head. The crowd was roaring behind them, growing impatient for the show to start.
"How did last week go?" Jack asked as soon as he spotted them.
"I don't know why you asked Urban to check in with Y/N, he's a terrible liar", Clay scoffed, earning an eye roll from the blonde. "I'm a terrible liar? Mr. "I can't make eye contact with her", Urban mocked Clay with exaggerated motions.
"Can you two stop it? I asked you to make sure she was safe, discreetly, but its obvious the two of you don't know what that means. What the hell am I paying you for?" Jack pulled at the collar of his shirt, the air around him stifling. Your safety was the only thing on his mind lately, and he couldn't focus on anything else.
"First of all, you're not paying us at all", Urban retorted, but Jack just sighed, pushing past them to go back to the dressing room. "And second of all, she's smart, man, its only a matter of time before she figures out you've got us going undercover. You should just hire a security team for her."
Jack leaned against the wall, letting a few crew members walk by before continuing. "I've tried that, but she is so damn stubborn, says she doesn't need security. She doesn't realize how important all of this is, the crazy fan approaching her was just the tip of the iceberg. You guys have seen how wild people can be." Urban and Clay nodded in agreement, but it did nothing to calm Jack's nerves.
"Dude, just talk to her. Tell her how important the security team is, I'm sure she'll understand." Jack stroked at his jawline, watching as Neelam came rushing down the hallway. "Five minutes, Jack." You got up from your chair at the announcement to give Jack a good luck hug and kiss before he went on stage.
Jack lowered his voice to Urban and Clay so you couldn't hear him. "The two of you keep an eye on her tonight, okay? Don't let her out of your sight. I can't have anything happen to her."
Jack trusted his friend and brother with his life and knew they'd never let anything happen to you. He grabbed your hand as he pressed a kiss to your temple and you followed him out to the side stage.
Tumblr media
Most of the way though the show, you could feel your voice start to go from yelling and cheering for Jack over the music. Urban was in the crowd getting some action shots, which left Clay to watch over you. He glanced over at where you were posted all night, as you started to walk back to the greenroom to grab a bottle of water. He intercepted you before you got past the curtain, stopping you in your tracks. "What's up? Going somewhere?"
"Just gonna grab some water really quick." You motioned to your dry throat.
"Uh, I'll have someone get it for you." He looked around for a PA.
"Clay, its fine, I can get my own water", you chuckled, gently pushing past him. "Cool, cool! I'll join you, I could use some water too."
"Okay, you're being weird. Everything okay?" You crossed your arms over your chest as the two of you walked backstage. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just realized, you and Jack have been dating for a while and we never really got a chance to get to know each other."
You grabbed a bottle from the craft services table, looking over your shoulder at him. "And tonight seemed like a good time to do that?"
"Yeah, tell me about your childhood. Did you wet the bed?" He wasn't sure how he got to that line of questioning, palming his face in embarrassment. "I didn't mean to ask you that." He plopped down on the couch, letting out a deep breath. "This is harder than I thought it was going to be."
"What is? What the hell is going on, Clay? You, Urban, and Jack for that matter, have been acting so strange lately." You sat down next to him, taking a big gulp of water.
"He doesn't want to overstep, but you're a lot harder to keep track of then we thought you would be."
You gave him an incredulous look. "Is this about Jack and the whole security thing? I told him I was fine." Clay nodded, shifting to sit up and face you.
"I know how much he cares about you, Y/N, and that whole fan interaction scared the shit out of him, even if it didn't bother you." You tightened the grip on your water bottle as Clay spoke, the plastic cracking in your hand. You were so caught up in how you felt, Jack's feelings didn't even cross your mind. "He just wants to make sure you're safe, but since you won't take the security team, he had to take matters into his own hand."
"I knew you two showing up a the bar last Thursday wasn't a coincidence? How did you two figure out where I was anyway?"
Clay ran a hand over his buzzcut hair. "Jack texted us that night and told us to get our asses over there. You wouldn't take Dave, so we had to improvise."
"So he sent Dumb and Dumber to look after me, huh?", you said in jest, playfully shoving Clay in the shoulder. "We prefer Scooby and Shaggy, but whatever", he shrugged, making you giggle.
"I guess I can let Dave follow me around every once and a while." The thought of a 6'5", 300 pound man standing in the corner of your pilates class was kind of funny.
"Listen, I know that your life has changed so much since you met Jack, trust me, if anyone knows its me, and if you know my brother at all, you know he does not play about the people he loves." You nodded, smiling to yourself. Jack loved his family and friends so deeply and openly, it was honestly refreshing to witness it first hand. You could tell how much he cared about everyone, and wanted to see them succeed. It was one of the things you loved the most about him.
Clay smiled, jumping to his feet and extending a hand to help you up. "C'mon, lets watch the end of the show."
"Wait, who's Shaggy in this duo?", you asked, grabbing the offered hand. "Obviously Urban", Clay answered. "Shaggy gives off major stoner vibes."
Tumblr media
You stood off to the side of the stage as the show ended, and Jack ran down the stairs, immediately searching the backstage crowd for you. You watched on as his team surrounded him and helped him get unhooked from the sound equipment, as Clay gave him a quick rundown of your conversation, Jack's gaze never leaving your face.
He slowly approached you, half expecting you to be pissed, but you just wrapped him up in a tight hug, your cheek rubbing against his scraggly beard. "Everything okay?", he chuckled, nuzzling into your hair. "Yeah, everything's fine." You pulled away with a smile, grabbing his hand to walk back to his dressing room and away from everyone else. You turned to him as he shut the door, giving the two of you privacy.
"Did something happen?" You were quiet, and that made him uncomfortable. He hooked his eyebrow as he searched your face to try to gauge your reaction. "Look, I know that Clay told you everything, and I know you asked me to trust you, and I promise I do, but-". You stopped him with an abrupt kiss to the lips, your chests colliding with each other. You were the first to break to take a breath, Jack pulling you in tightly to his body so you couldn't walk away. "What was that for?", he asked with a giddy grin.
"I owe you a thank you, baby. I was fighting you so hard on this security thing because I didn't want my life to change anymore, but I know now you were just worried about me, and I appreciate that so much." You reassuringly ran your hands up and down his chest, feeling his muscles flex underneath your palms at your touch.
"I just love you so much", Jack explained, grabbing your hands and pressing a kiss to your knuckles, "and I can't do what I have to do unless I know you're safe. I know its a lot, but I need you to do this for me."
You nodded, giving him a small smile. "I know, just give me some time to get used to it. I'll come around to the whole idea that my boyfriend is an celebrity, eventually." You drug out the last word sarcastically.
"So that's a yes to the security team?" Jack ducked down to make eye contact with you. "Uh, no, not a whole security team, just two bodyguards." You motioned over to the door, and Jack turned around to see Urban and Clay standing in the threshold. "These two dumb asses?" Jack threw a lazy thumb their way with a disappointed look.
You both chuckled at the rumble of objections that came from the two of them. "Hey! Is that any way to talk about your girlfriend's security team?" Urban threw an arm over your shoulders, pulling you in for a side hug. "Yeah, these two will blend in a little better than your security team, plus they are a very good time."
"Yeah, you hear that? We're a good time." Clay threw his arm over your shoulder as well, sticking his tongue out at Jack.
"Whatever." Jack threw his hands up in surrender with a smile. "You should know that a twelve year old girl beat him up when he was a freshman in high school." You stiffled a laugh as you looked at Clay, who was visibly upset.
"She was really big for a twelve year old!", Clay bit back as everyone in the room burst into laughter.

For Valentine’s Day: Buying Jack flowers/a stuffed animal.
Spoiled Rotten 💘
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What about this one? I feel like he’d love this one.” Your friend Annie said as she held up a light brown stuffed animal bear.
There wasn’t really anything special about it, it was just a basic brown bear that you were positive a lot of people would be getting this year.
You took the bear from her hands inspecting it but shook your head no. “I don’t know it doesn’t scream Jack, you know what I mean?” She rolled her eyes and put the bear back.
“I think you’re overthinking this Y/N, you know that he’ll love anything you get him.” She tried reassuring you but you didn’t want to hear it.
Every year for Valentine’s Day Jack reassured you that he didn’t need or want anything from you, he was the one doing the spoiling, but this year you wanted to at least get him something.
Later on that year Jack would be going on Tour so you wanted to give him something that he would be able to take on the road with him, something that reminded him of you.
You sighed as you looked at all of the bears trying to find something that you think Jack would like.
“I don’t know I can’t find anything.” You worriedly expressed and kept walking up and down the aisle
“What about this one?” Annie held up a brown bear that had white hearts all around it and sewed at the bottom of its little feet it said ‘love you forever and always.’ You squealed and took the bear from her.
“This is perfect! I love this one.” You grinned and held it close to your chest and Annie chuckled.
“Let’s go find him some flowers.” The two of you made your way to the local floral shop in Louisville.
“If Jack was a flower what type of flower would he be?” You asked yourself and examined all of the different flowers.
You looked through all the flowers you didn’t really like the roses you figured they were basic, tulips weren’t really Jack’s favorite nor were Poppy’s.
“Oh don’t tell me you can’t pick out a flower now?” Annie groaned playfully as you glared at her.
“You know I’m a picky person but I think I just might go with these sunflowers.” You picked up two patches of sunflowers.
“Oh those are an excellent choice.” One of the workers told you. “Yeah?” You smiled.
“Yeah sunflowers are symbolized as a faith and devotion, radiating positivity and hope.” She told you and you grinned even wider.
They were perfect seeming as Jack had so much devotion within him, he was devoted on becoming a rapper and he had so much determination and positivity within him.
“I’ll take them! Thank you so much!” After you paid for the sunflowers you went and dropped off Annie at her house before making your way back home.
When you arrived back you were thankful that Jack was still at the studio, you quickly made your way upstairs to shower and change into a fresh pair of pajamas.
This year for Valentine’s Day the two of you decided to stay inside and bake together and order in food and watch cute little rom-com movies together.
You had gotten the two of you matching pajama sets that were white but had red hearts patterned all around.
You placed the sunflowers in the middle of the table along with Jack’s bear. You even sprayed some of your favorite perfume that Jack loved on the bear.
You finished just in time too because not even a second later Jack came through the door.
“Yeah I’m home Urban, I’ll talk to you later.” He spoke into the phone before hanging up.
“Baby, where are you?” Jack’s voice boomed from the living room.
“In the kitchen!” You yelled back. As Jack made his way around the corner and into the kitchen he smiled upon seeing you.
“Happy Valentine’s Day babe.” He smiled and handed you a box with a bouquet of flowers.
“What’s in here Harlow?” You questioned him with a raised eyebrow.
“Open it and see.” You set your flowers down and unwrapped the box and you gasped.
“No you didn’t!” You grinned and quickly took out the gold necklace that had a ‘J’ initial in the middle.
“I sure did so now when you go out without me all the guys will know you’re taken.” He laughed. You rolled your eyes playfully.
Jack always joked about getting you a necklace with his first name initial on it, you didn’t think he’d actually do it at least until now.
“You’re so silly but I actually got you a little something myself.” You told him.
His eyebrows furrowed together. “Oh yeah? What is it?” You made him close his eyes as you went to get his gift.
“Open your eyes.” He opened his eyes and the biggest smile was displayed on his face once he saw the bear and the flowers.
“Babe.” He coo’d. “This is so cute but you know you didn’t have to get me anything.” You shrugged your shoulders.
“You always get me stuff so I decided to get you something this time around, the bear is mostly for when you’re gone on tour, it’ll snuggle up with you when I’m not able to be next to you.” You expressed to him.
He sniffed and tried turning his head to the side. “Are you? Are you crying.” You smirked but Jack shook his head no even though you knew he was lying.
“I’m not crying I just got something in my eye, yeah I got something in my eye.” He lied and you smacked your teeth and grabbed his chin softly and turned his face toward you.
“You’re definitely crying.” You laughed at how red his eyes looked.
“How about you go shower and change out of these clothes and we can start our movie marathon.” You suggested.
“Sounds like a plan babe.” You smiled and went ahead and got everything ready while Jack was showering. You closed all the curtains and lit a few candles.
You got the blankets and ordered Chinese food and set up a little charcuterie board with different snacks.
“What movie are we watching first?” Jack asked when he finally made it back downstairs. He jumped over the couch and landed right next to you.
“You should already know that answer.” You grinned and pressed play on your favorite movie in the world. To All The Boys I Loved Before.
“Not this shit again baby.” You rolled your eyes and swatted his chest.
“Come on you know you’re the Peter to my Laura Jean.” He laughed. “That I am, give me some sugar then.” Jack puckered up his lips and you placed a loving kiss to his lips.
“I love you Jack.” “I love you too Y/N.”
You loved having simple little Valentine’s Days like this with Jack, you loved dressing up and going out but being able to stay inside and snuggle up together too was one of your favorite things to do.

Promises - Jack Harlow x f!reader
note: damn this is looongg😅 sorry but uh i hope y’all enjoy. haven’t written anything in a MINUTE
Tumblr media
When you moved to Louisville in your senior year of highschool, you never expected to fall in love. In fact, that was the last thing on your mind, hoping to stay focused on your studies in preparation for university—but Jack Harlow was one persistent motherfucker.
“Come on Y/N!” Jack exclaimed as he chased you down the long school hallway, his hand reaching for your arm to stop you from walking away. The last bell finally rung and you were desperate to go home. “Why won’t you give me a chance?” he pouted, looking down at you adorably with his big bulky glasses and his curly hair pushed out of his eyes.
You let out a sigh as you stared up at him. You couldn’t deny that you thought he was cute…but he was the popular guy in school. This had to be some sick joke.“Jack…just drop it—”
“No! Tell me why first!” he insisted. “If you don’t like me or if you think I’m ugly then just say that! I can handle rejection.”
Upon hearing that, your eyes widened. “What? No! Of course I don’t think you’re ugly…I just…why me?” you ask with furrowed brows. “Guys don’t usually like me,” you sigh. “Plus I know guys like you. You’re a player. Only intrigued now because I’m new but when I give in you’ll use me then throw me to the curb for the next girl…that’s why I don’t wanna give you a chance.”
Jack licked his lips, his hands rubbing down his smooth face. “Well the guys where you’re from clearly didn’t have good taste…and I promise it’s not just cause you’re new. Just one date? I won’t hurt you…I promise.”
“One date Jack Harlow. We’ll see how it goes.”
And for the most part, Jack kept his promise. The years went on perfectly. You two managed to fall in love and he was all of your major firsts. You supported him all throughout his career but you always chose to stay private, not wanting to be in the spotlight or public eye which he supported.
And since then too, your relationship with his family grew exponentially. At first his Mom was a bit hesitant, fearing that you’d break his heart but the more she got to know you and spend time with you, you easily became the daughter she never had. She loved you like her own and it wasn’t quite a Harlow family gathering without you being there by Jack’s side.
However, it seemed as though everything changed when he did his Chicken Shop date interview. It was no secret that Jack had a major glowup and that interview in particular sparked the internet’s interest in the upcoming rapper, even being deemed as the new ‘white boy of the month’ and the internet’s boyfriend. That’s when the problems started.
Jack bit his lip in contemplation as he watched you get prepared for bed. You were standing in front of the mirror, finishing up your skincare routine by applying your moisturizer. Once done, you made your way into the bed and raised your brow at your boyfriend.
“Why do I feel like you have something you wanna tell me?” you laughed.
Jack took in a breath and ran a loose hand through his curls. “Look ma—the team thinks you should take down all of our photos together on insta.” You furrow your brows as you turn to look at him.
“Why?”
He lets out a sigh. “They think it’ll be better if we stay private for my brand—” You can’t help but scoff at his response. “Is that what you think too?” you ask him.
Jack groans, “baby it’s what’s best for my career at the moment…it’s better if people think I’m single to keep up that persona they’re going for. Plus you don’t even like being in the spotlight—”
“Yeah but I still like posting my boyfriend,” you interrupt with a frown. “Plus I’m already private on Instagram.”
“Ma, fans always find a way to get that shit even if you're super private,” Jack sighed. “Please baby? They really think it’s better this way. And it won’t change anything about us…I love you and it just means we get to be more private about our relationship without fans getting in the way especially with the sudden interest,” he persuaded sweetly—but it was more like manipulation unbeknownst to you.
You sigh before nodding reluctantly. “Okay…I’ll archive all of the photos of us,” you reassure.
Jack grinned as he swiftly cupped your cheeks and placed a soft kiss to your lips. “You’re the best ma.”
While it did partly not sit right with you that he wanted to hide your relationship from the public, you also heard many celebrity stories of relationships ending because of overbearing fans so you decided for the time being, it was the right choice.
As Jack gained more attention within the industry, he also gained much more attention from women which truth be told, was starting to become a difficulty.
Jack sat on the couch with his head in his hands as he rubbed his temples. “Ma you gotta calm down—”
“No I’m not gonna calm down! You were flirting with her on camera! I keep trying to be understanding of how all of this can help your career but you’re constantly direspecting me either by flirting with other girls or having them up all over you!” you exclaim. “It’s not fair to me.”
Jack let out an annoyed groan. “I told you it meant nothing but gaining a connection! Her team literally contacted me to do a song together so it’s obviously for work!” he yelled.
You take in a breath as your eyes collect with tears. “It still hurts to see Jack! You do it too much now--it's like you enjoy that extra attention,” you say with a shaky voice. “I don’t…I don’t wanna be private anymore. I want people to know you have a girl,” you sniffle.
Jack clenched his jaw and his hands balled up into fists. “I’m not doing this right now Y/N!"
“If you keep acting like you’re single then you’re gonna end up single Jack…”
“Yeah well maybe that’s what the both of us need right now.”
And just like that, a relationship that lasted nearly five years went down the drain and it hurt more than anything you’d ever experienced before. His family took it quite hard, having to get adjusted to you not being around anymore.
Whenever his mom would see you around Louisville, she always made the effort to stop you and spend however long just chatting it up with you. You thought it was adorable and it truly warmed your heart that his family still loved you despite the relationship ending but the reminder still hurt.
This time, you bumped into his mom at the grocery store and she wasn’t going to let you go easily.
“Y/N!” she exclaimed. “Haven’t seen you around in a while!” she continued with a hum. You let out a polite chuckle, hoping the conversation would end quickly.
“It’s nice to see you Maggie,” you say genuinely. “And yeah, I’ve been in and out of the city trying to find a job somewhere more exciting,” you chuckle. Since you didn’t really have Jack anymore to tie you to Louisville, you thought it was best to venture out more for work, either in New York or California.
Maggie frowned playfully, “then we’d be missing you,” she rebutted. You let out a laugh before shrugging. “Nothing keeping me here anymore,” you say, hoping she’d catch the tiny hint. “Even my parents moved back to where we’re from.”
Maggie nodded in understanding and the both of you enter a sort of silence before she spoke up again. “He misses you you know?”
You can’t help but scoff, shaking your head at her comment. “No he does not…he’s happy living the single life he’s wanted since he got signed to his label,” you mumble.
“Sweetheart—that isn’t true—”
“Then why hasn’t he reached out since then?” you ask, eyes beginning to tear up. “It’s been months and if he missed me then he would’ve done…something,” you sigh.
Maggie licked her lips and nodded. “Well we miss you,” she said nonchalantly. “I’ve gotten used to you being around so how about you come over this weekend for dinner?” she suggested.
You instantly shake your head. “I don’t think that’s quite a good idea—”
“You’d be coming for me. Please.”
“But—” as you go to reject once more, you knew that you couldn’t turn Maggie down. “Okay fine.”
Maggie beamed and reached to give you a hug. “I’ll see you Saturday at six then!”
Saturday rolls around and you approach the Harlow house with a heavy and anxious heart. You really didn’t want to be there but you hated to disappoint Maggie. You ring the doorbell and as always, she greets you with the warmest smile and hug.
You cautiously enter and slightly inspect the house for any signs that Jack was home. When you were pretty certain that he wasn’t, you let out a heavy breath of relief and aim to enjoy your time with Maggie.
Meanwhile, Jack, Urban, Druski, and Clay were all sat in the backyard of his home, chatting it up. It was dark out so it wasn’t easy to look out into the backyard from inside the house, but it was much easier to look into the house from the backyard.
“Bro…” Druski began, smacking Jack’s arm to get his attention. “Isn’t that your ex girl?” he asked, pointing towards the window that showed into the kitchen. Jack glanced over and his eyes went wide as he saw you laughing with his mom. “What the fuck?” Jack mumbled under his breath, getting up and storming into the house in frustration.
Upon seeing her son storm in, Maggie smiled knowingly. “Nice of you to join us Jackman,” she hummed.
“What the fuck is she doing here?!” he practically yelled, causing you to wince. Maggie stood her ground and looked at her son sternly. “I invited her to have dinner with us—”
“I didn’t know you’d be here,” you mumble quietly. Jack scoffed. “It’s my parents house—why wouldn’t I be here?” he spat back in question.
You take in a steady breath, your hands slightly shaking from the anxiety you were experiencing. As you go to respond, Maggie steps in. "Mind your manners Jackman. She came out of respect for me because I kept incessantly asking," she stated matter of factly.
Jack could only groan in annoyance, before he waved off his mom. "Whatever man--enjoy your dinner," he mumbled, causing his mother to raise her brows in questions. "Are you not joining us for dinner?"
The curly haired man let out a snarky puff of air before shrugging nonchalantly. "Nah--I've got guests in the backyard," he replied as he walked straight out.
As Jack walked back out through the sliding glass doors to the backyard once again, Urban shot up from his chair with wide eyes. "Dude! What are you doing back out here?" he exclaimed in question and shock. "All you've been doing the past fucking 6 months was sulk around and complain about missing her and now that you've got a chance right in front of you you're psyching yourself out?"
"It's not that easy," Jack mumbled while shaking his head with stubbornness.
“I don’t know what happened in there but this is quite literally your one and only chance to win her back otherwise—”
“Otherwise you’re gonna have to let her go completely,” Druski jumped in matter of factly. “Cos a girl like that sure as hell ain’t gonna wait up on a dude like you forever.” Urban agreed which caused Jack to sigh. He knew they were right—he was just to scared to admit it.
“What if she doesn’t want me? What if she’s been done with me?” he asked.
Urban smirked, “then she wouldn’t be at your house having dinner with your mom dumbass. Now go!” he exclaimed, pushing Jack back towards the back entrance of the house.
Jack slipped in and raised his brow when he saw his mom sitting at the table alone. “Where’s y/n?”
Maggie sighed and pointed towards the front door. “She’s about to leave—said she didn’t feel comfortable staying after upsetting you.”
“Shit,” Jack muttered under his breath, rushing to the front of the house and swinging open the front door. Luckily you hadn’t gotten far, just about to unlock your car and get in. “Y/n can we talk?” he asked exasperatedly, running a hand through his curls that had gotten much longer since the last time you’d seen him.
You let out a sigh and turn to face Jack. “You’ve already said all you needed to. I should’ve respected you and not come and I’m sorry—”
“But I’m glad you came,” Jack interrupted quickly. “I know I didn’t show it in there but I am…y/n I miss you,” he confessed quietly.
You can’t help but scoff. “Yeah well you have a pretty funny way of showing that—”
Jack furrowed his brows, “how did you expect me to react? You showed up unannounced and caught me off guard,” he defended.
You rolled your eyes and the both of you stood silent for a moment before Jack cleared his throat. "Do you miss me too?” he asked, his voice timid.
You let out a sigh. “Even if I did Jack we clearly don’t work.”
“My mindset on all of this has changed. Ever since I dropped the second album and finished up the tour, I realized this life ain’t sustainable and that I needed to be more lowkey…I think part of me needed to experience it first to know,” he explained with a sigh. “I’m sorry it took hurting you to realize that but I know now and I wanna pick up where we left off,” he breathed out, nervous that you’d reject him.
Your brows furrowed at his words. “You’re assuming I haven’t already moved on—”
“You wouldn’t be here if you did,” Jack stated confidently, standing tall as he reiterated what Urban had said earlier.
He had caught you slightly off guard with that statement, causing your face to heat up and for you to be at a loss for words. "T-That doesn't mean I'm ready to jump back into thin--"
"Do you love me?"
"Jack--"
"Y/N, do you love me?" Jack asked again, inching his way closer to you. "You're gaslighting me," you mumbled, narrowing your eyes as you peered up at him.
The curly haired man couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "It really is a simple question," he shrugged. You couldn't deny the heat that came from Jack's body as he moved closer to you, his piercing blue eyes fixated on yours. You could feel his breath on your neck as he whispered, "I want to hear you say it...I need to hear you say it," he sighed softly, damn near begging you at that point from fear of losing you.
Your heart was racing, your mind in a whirlwind of emotions. You wanted to say it, to scream it from the rooftops. But something held you back--the thought of him hurting you again or going back to his ways even after he claimed he worked on himself terrified you.
"Of course I love you," you finally confessed, looking away from him as your cheeks flared up with heat.
Jack's hand cupped your chin, turning your face back towards his. "Look at me," he demanded softly. "I want to see it in your eyes."
You met his gaze, and as the intensity of his stare bore into you, you felt a wave of desire wash over you. He leaned in, his lips dangerously close to yours. "Say it again," he breathed.
"I love you," you whispered, and before you could say another word, Jack's mouth was on yours, his hands roaming freely over your body. In that moment, nothing else mattered except the two of you, lost in a passion that couldn't be extinguished.
Eventually when the two of you pulled away, Jack kept close, resting his forehead against yours. "I'll be better to you, I promise," he spoke against your lips. "I ain't losing you again."

FIRST LOVE | J.HARLOW
PAIR: JACK HARLOW X READER
REQUESTS ARE CLOSED | MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
the first time you’ve met jack was in kindergarten. your kindergarten teacher assigned the spots for your class, and you sat with four other people, one of them being jack.
the earliest memory jack had of you was you and your friend heading to the library. while you liked interacting with the class, you also wanted to experience a bit of the quieter side. you and your friend would open the books and look at the illustrations.
this was the same time when he began wearing an eye patch on his right eye, that way he could strengthen his left eye, he believed.
one time you left to the library, and then jack followed your footsteps by raising his hand to ask the teacher the same thing, “miss, may i go to the library?”
“yes jack, you may go.”
after leaving the classroom, one of the students began whispering to another student, “do you think he likes y/n?”
the other student giggled, and began teasing you two whenever you were together.
at recess, you would sit in the swings and read your newly picked out book. the students would ask you to play with them, but you told them that there are other people who want to play. in other words, you weren’t interested in playing ‘tag’ every single day.
jack walked to the swings, but didn’t say a word to you. he didn’t want to disturb you or take a peek at your book. he knew that you stood out compared to the other classmates. you were sweet towards everyone, and you were one of the only people that didn’t make fun of jack. maybe his classmates were right, he did have a crush on you.
the kids, on the other hand, looked by the swings, and one of them shouted out, “jack likes y/n!”
this would then go on for the rest of elementary, but the teasing between you and jack calmed down by the third grade. you knew jack didn’t see you in that manner as well as the students just joking around. you can admit, however, that he was a cute and funny guy.
-
you guys grew up together throughout middle school, and you noticed that jack looked a lot happier than he was in elementary.
it was the time when jack began having a passion of music, and started creating it using stuff he has at home. his first experience into becoming a rapper was in fifth grade, when he tried to sing “fergalicious” at a talent show, but the song was too explicit to perform.
jack would invite you to his little music sessions and play some guitar hero along. it was interesting to see the process, and by the time he finishes, he would burn about forty copies to give to his classmates.
“i think i’ll sell them for 5 dollars.”
“that’s too pricey for some cheesy songs.”
“4?”
“1.”
“too cheap, y/n. i think i’ll go with 2 dollars each.”
“that’s good.”
-
by the end of middle school though, things began to change for you. your parents got a new job, and unfortunately, you had to move to another place. it was unexpected news for you, never telling your friends until later on.
it was upsetting, believing that your high school experience was ruined before stepping a foot inside. but in the bright side though, you had a fresh start in your new place.
jack began to notice your absence during his high school years, but never questioned it until he brought it up in a conversation with his friends.
“hey, what happened to y/n?”
“y/n l/n?” your name was the first thing that came to his friend’s mind.
“yeah. i haven’t seen her since middle school ended.”
“she probably moved to another place, jackman.”
“moved?!” he exclaimed. jack began to picture all of his memories that he had with you. after hearing this, all of his memories began to feel more like dreams and it shattered jack that he might not ever see you again.
-
it’s been ten years since you moved from louisville to [your place]. one day you were bored, and decided to drive to louisville, where you spent most of your childhood.
it took a few hours to drive there and you felt the excitement the moment you read the sign that said ‘welcome to louisville.’
“it’s been a while…” you to mumbled to yourself. you began driving to the area you grew up in, seeing the newly changes that they have in the city. you used the maps app to start heading to the neighborhood you once lived in.
you still couldn’t believe it was a decade since you left the city. it was a huge change for you, now having to start a different high school with new people. it was hard to adjust at first, but people eventually began making talk with you.
you turned off your car, and made sure your car was locked before getting out. you began walking to the neighborhood, seeing the homes and their decorations that they add in their garden and porch.
as you were walking, you saw a man walking towards the same direction as you.
he stood there for a few seconds in order to examine you. “y/n?” the man wondered if it was you.
you had that developed, yet youthful look on your face, and it was quite recognizable for everyone. you flinched, but you then turned around to see the guy.
it was possible that you knew him from school in the past, but you couldn’t put a name on his face.
“do i know you?” you paused to look at his face. he has curly hair, a freshly cut beard, and those blue eyes. he looked familiar until you finally remembered, “wait! you’re jack, right?”
“that’s me.”
“oh my goodness, jack, you scared the fuck out of me!”
“my fault.”
“it’s fine, i just never thought that i’d see you again. it’s been what, ten years?”
“ten fucking years…”
the last time you saw him, he had a very dorky look and had that high pitched voice. you were in shock when you saw how he looks like now.
he pursued his dreams into becoming a rapper and it worked successfully, and that was one thing that didn’t change about jack. another thing that didn’t change was that he still kept the same charm from the prior years.
you asked the typical question that people ask once reunited, “so what are you up to?”
jack gave you a look, and you didn’t blame him, to be fair. you left without saying goodbye or anything. “no, what are you up to?”
“i wanted to drive around louisville, and i honestly miss it here,” you explained. “what about you?”
“just passing by before tour starts.”
you raised a brow, confused on what he meant by ‘tour.’
“tour?”
“a world tour, i’m performing in several countries.”
your eyes widen and gasped, “that’s so amazing jack, you really made it this far!”
“thank you, i couldn’t make it without your support.”
you tilted your head and pouted at him, “really?”
jack smiled, “yeah, really.”
-
you two walked to the park nearby the neighborhood. the park was bigger than you remembered, but that’s because they now added a tennis court and a kiosk.
you and jack sat in a picnic table near the trees, where you began to catch up with each other’s lives. jack put on his sunglasses, as he felt that it was a little too bright today.
with a hand covering your mouth, you laughed at jack, “you’re so dramatic jack.”
jack shrugged, “what can i say? i’ve always been serving it girl.”
you couldn’t take him seriously and continued laughing, “it’s only like 71 degrees, be serious.”
“fine, fine,” jack took off his sunglasses to reveal his blue eyes that you’ve always loved and remembered.
“how lovely you look today,” you sighed.
jack misunderstood what you told him, “i look lonely? i am literally with you!”
you clarified, “lovely, dumbass.”
he awkwardly exclaimed. you were having a fun time within the first minutes with him at the park, laughing at the little things you guys do. it took you back to more than a decade ago, when he would rap about household items to you.
-
there was no one in the park, but you two. you felt at peace alongside jack, just like old times.
the sun was setting, and you started to feel the breeze outside. jack sat next to you to make you feel comfortable, and you rest your head onto his shoulder.
“it feels nice out here,” you tilted your head to look at jack.
“you should visit here more often, you would love it.”
you softly laughed, “like what, singing me about the smell of febreeze?”
“you still remember that?”
“i thought that was the funniest thing you ever did.”
“i have plenty of other songs on my catalog,” he turned on his phone to show you a specific song, “in fact, i wrote this song about you.”
the title track was named after you. you weren’t as active on social media, so you weren’t aware of the music he releases. when the song started playing, you looked at him with fulfillment. you could tell that he dedicated some time in order to write these thoughtful lyrics about you, and the production was well-made.
as soon as the song finished playing, you turned around to see jack. you almost went to tears of joy, not expecting someone like jack to give you such a gift, “this is the nicest thing someone did for me in a long time…”
“all this time i thought i’d never see you again. you’re the person i spent most of my time with back then, and i want that again. you don’t know how much you mean to me and my career. y/n, i want to make things official with you.”
“jack…” you reached in for a kiss and jack leaned in to return the favor. you took your hand and placed it on his cheek, feeling a bit of his soft skin.
“and all of that for me?”
jack replied, “for you.”
you had never thought that you’d be kissing jack and date ten years later. until today, you realized that you hit the lottery with him, considering his large fan base. to jack though, it was love at first sight.

2016
“Until 2003, you needed blood tests to get married?” Urban exclaimed, reading out loud a brochure for getting married.
“Yeah, you know how whites are. Always marrying their cousins.” Naya commented. She glanced over to Jack and Sydney. “You're sure you're not cousins right?”
“She was the only witness available?” Jack asked Sydney.
“Yes,” Naya answered. “I'm also the only one who won't tell a soul. If your parents find out you two are getting hitched, you're both dead.”
“I think I saw a vending machine down the hall. Let's get snacks.” Urban motioned Naya to follow, leaving Jack and Sydney.
Jack relaxed in his seat and reached for Sydney's hand. “Do you think we're making a huge mistake?” He asked her.
“No, do you?” She asked back.
“No.” Jack shook his head. “I love you so much, Syd. I've known since we were ten and you hit my head with the tetherball.”
“It was an accident but I'm glad that it made you come to your senses. Because I've loved you since you stole back my latest copy of The Series of Unfortunate Events from Miguel Casillas in fourth grade.”
Jack chuckled and pulled her to his chest.
Sydney hugged him tight, sighing contently. It wasn't how she imagined herself getting married when she was playing with Barbies growing up. But it was perfect. She had the man of her dreams at her side with their best friends. Sure they were barely eighteen and fresh out of high school but they loved each other and that was all that mattered. They didn't have much when they moved from Louisville to Atlanta other than their love, aspirations, and support for each other to keep them going. The rest could come later once Jack was settled in Atlanta.
For now his parents think he's just visiting Sydney during her summer bridge program at Georgia Tech where she was going to study architecture like her late father. Jack didn't apply to any schools. It wasn't in the books for him. His dream was to be a rapper. He was pretty decent at it. With the connections he had back home that led him to Atlanta, it wouldn't be long for him to get signed. He knew a radio host back in Louisville that sent his work to Atlanta to a producer from home that worked with some huge artists he was a fan of. He had everything going for him. From being minutes away from marrying to the love of his life to working on his music.
Jack and Sydney have been together since their sophomore year of high school. Though they've known each other for way longer than that. They went to the same elementary school and were always seated together because of their last names (Harlow and Harris). When her dad passed away from a car accident, he was at her side cheering her up when she was down. He was always someone she could count on.
“When I get my first break I'm buying us a huge plot of land for you to design our home.” Jack said, twirling one of her curls with his index finger.
“Can it be in Louisville? I don’t want the paparazzi up my butt when you're famous.” Sydney said, pretending to shield herself from paparazzi.
“Where else would we raise our soccer team? Also the only person that's gonna be up your butt is me.” He huffed out his chest.
“If you're up my butt how are we gonna have kids?” She asked playfully.
“Fine, I'll be up your butt on special occasions.” he gave in.
“Okay,” she laughed.
Jack wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her to him, kissing her temple. They talked amongst themselves until it was their turn to go up. A woman in a button-up and trousers walked out with a clip board along with a couple a few years older than Jack and Sydney. The groom was dressed in a formal marine uniform and the bride in a simple sundress. Under her dress was the outline of a small bump.
The woman with the clipboard looked down and read outloud, “Harlow and Harris?”
“That's us.” Jack said, squeezing Sydney's hand. “Forever and always?”
A bright flash burned his eyes. Jack closed his eyes and blinked until he regained his eyesight. He was brought back to the present. To his engagement photoshoot.
Jack’s knee began to lose sensation with how long he’d been on one knee. 92830 pictures later and they were finally finished with the shoot. He never thought he was going to spend almost a full day taking pictures of his engagement for some magazine spread. Hell, Jack wasn’t even sure he was going to remarry after his divorce with Sydney. But it was the next step for him and Mallory, his fiance.
Mallory is the niece of one of the higher ups at Atlantic Records. Jack met her at a networking event a year after he signed to Generation Now. He never paid her much attention after that. But if they ran into each other he would say hi. It continued like that until the night his debut album came out. His team went all out and had a huge celebration.
Jack had to hand his phone to Urban because he was tempted to call Sydney and show her that paid off in the end. He didn't, he wasn't that cruel. He just spent the night drowning his sorrows with tequila and champagne. The following morning he woke up with Mallory next to him. From there they've been inseparable (he couldn't get rid of her). He grew accustomed to her presence and liked being around her.  When she wasn't shoving her phone in his face for her content. When people found out about their relationship, Mallory banked on it and grew a following for her pottery and sculptures. Did people actually buy her artwork? No, but she had over two million followers and that was something for her.
“Baby, do you want to see the pictures Gianni took?” Mallory asked him.
“It's fine. I'm sure they came out great.” Jack answered.
He went to his dressing room where his friend and family were. They were there for the proposal but once Mallory started talking about outfit changes and the photographer she brought.
“Hey,” he said, hugging his mom.
“Hi.” She said curtly.
His mom wasn't the biggest fan of Mallory. Mainly because she was best friends with Sydney's mom, Miss Esther, and they still talked. They had a brief falling out when Jack and Sydney divorced but according to his dad, they became best of friends once again a few years ago and they would hang out a lot. Jack wouldn't know, he tried his best to never mention them or when they were over at his parent’ place for dinner he'd avoid visiting. But here and there he would ask his mom about them. Maggie made it obvious that she still hoped that he and Sydney would try again now that they're older but that was never going to happen. Especially with how Jack ended things with her.
“Look mom, I know you're not Mal's biggest fan but we're getting married and I want you to try to be nice to her.” He said.
“I've never been rude to her, Jack.” His mom said, sipping her flute of champagne.
“I'm not saying you are or were. I just want you to be more accepting or at least pretend to be. She's going to be my wife.” Jack said frustrated.
Maggie's ever present frown turned to a straight line, which was a grin in Jack's books. “I have to get going. I'm meeting Esther for something.”
“Could you hold off telling her about this?” He gestured around them.
“Baby, you're at the bottom of the list of talking topics we have. Don't worry about it.” She smiled sweetly.
She motioned to Jack's dad and they bid Jack goodbye. Jack went to Mallory who was busy going through the pictures with her friends. He sat with her and pulled her to his lap. She met his gaze and smiled. Jack smiled back. He looked over to where his parents were and felt a shiver go down his spine. He felt uneasy and couldn't figure out why.
Jack's friends left not much after. They agreed to meet up again for the Louisville soccer game. Jack reserved a suite for them as a way to celebrate that he was engaged. Mallory's friends that flew in went back to the hotel and Mallory was meeting with them for a girls night. They had a few hours before that, so they decided to check out some houses. A new private neighborhood was hosting an open house.
There were two rows of various gates and fences with no end. They passed four fences when Jack finally pulled up to a house. He parked on the side of the street next to other cars. He opened Mallory's door and helped her out.
As they made their way to the house, a gate from the house across the house they were going to see opened. A black Mercedes pulled out and parked in front of the small mailbox. That didn't get Jack's attention. The house in the gate did. It looked exactly like the house Sydney would talk about designing for them. He let go of Mallory’s hand and went to get a closer look.
“Jack, where are you going?” She called after him.
He waved her off and crossed the street. Just as he approached the house, the gate closed. He looked over to the Mercedes but the windows were dark. He couldn't get a good look unless he shoved his face in the window. A little boy got out of the car followed by a guy several inches shorter than him. The little boy shoved a small key in the lock of the mailbox and grabbed a small box, leaving.
“It's here!” He held up the box triumphantly to the guy.
“That's great, but we're running late. Your grans are waiting for us, mate.” The guy said in a New Yorker accent. Sensing Jack, he turned around. “Oh ‘llo? Are you here for the open house? If so it's across the street.”
“I am, but I by chance saw your house and–”
“It's my cousin's house.” He said.
“Oh, sorry,” Jack began. He cleared his throat. “Do you know who designed it for your cousin?”
“My grandma has pictures of you at her house.” The little boy said, also cutting off Jack.
“Oh thanks.” Jack said, a bit confused.
“I wish we could chat, but we have to get going.” the guy said.
He opened the backseat for the little boy. Jack noticed someone else was sitting in the passenger side. He couldn't see their face but he saw a head full of curls similar to the little boy’s.
“Bye.” The little boy waved at Jack.
The guy nodded at Jack and got in the driver's seat. They sped off and the uneasy feeling he had earlier returned. His stomach churned, but Jack brushed it off. He crossed the street back to Mallory.
“What was that all about?” She asked.
“Don't worry about it, let's go see if this is our future home.” Jack said, placing his arm over her shoulders.
He looked back once more at the house before going inside.
*
Jack couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling and it got to the point that he was irritating people around him. He couldn't enjoy the game because he was so distracted. He felt some familiarity when he saw the little boy. He had the same hazel eyes as Sydney. He silently cursed himself. Sydney is the last person he should even be thinking about.
“Yo, is that mom?” Clay asked Jack in a quiet tone, bringing him back to the game.
“What are you talking about?” Jack frowned.
“There.” His younger brother pointed to the bottom row of the suite across from them.
“I can't see that far.” He said.
“You came to a sporting event and sat yourself in the way back knowing you can't fucking see?” Clay shook his head.
He pulled out his phone and zoomed in to where he was pointed at. Lo and behold, it was their mom. Most importantly the little kid that Jack saw in the neighborhood was sitting on her lap and they were sharing a tray of nachos and a hotdog. A seat behind them was Esther, Sydney's mom, and Jorge, her step-dad.
“Why is she sharing nachos with that kid? In my twenty-two, almost twenty-three years of life, mom has never bought me nachos.” Clay said in disbelief.
“Those are Syd's parents.” Jack told him.
“Damn Miss Esther is still fineass-OW!” He rubbed the back of his neck where Jack smacked him.
“That's my mother-in-law, don't be weird.”
“Ex mother-in-law.” Clay corrected him.
Jack held up his finger to tell him to be quiet. He pulled out his phone and called his mom. They looked through Clay's phone camera as their mom looked at her phone then hung up. A message came through seconds later that her hands were full and that she'd call him later.
“I bet her hands are full, sharing nachos with some kid and not her son.” Clay mumbled.
He ignored Clay as he went on about how he used to use his birthday money at the concessions stand because their mom never bought him nachos. Jack snapped a picture of their mom and the little boy, sending it to his dad. His dad saw it. The three dots appeared then disappeared. From Clay's phone he saw his mom look at her phone then scan the stadium. Her eyes landed on her sons. She pushed off the little kid and told Esther something before getting up.
“Come with me.” Jack said, pulling Clay from his seat.
“Where y'all going?” Urban asked them.
“We'll be right back.” Jack said.
They left their seats and walked to the seats their mom was sitting at. They found her pacing and texting frantically.
“Mom, what–”
“Why are you eating nachos with some kid?” Clay beat him to the punch.
“What are y'all doing here?” She asked them, annoyed.
“What are we doing here? What are you doing here? And with Syd's family?” Jack asked her.
“It's complicated. We'll talk at home. Why don't you go back to your seats.” Maggie said.
“Mom, what's going on?” he asked her.
“Maggie, what's going on? My mom was–” a voice Jack never thought he'd hear again.
“Syd?” He said softly.
“Oh my god! You're Jack Harlow!” A girl, a few years younger than Sydney, squealed.
It took Jack a second but it was Sydney's younger sister. She was eight years younger than them. He didn't recognize her. The last time he saw her was right before he and Sydney eloped.
“Nina, let's go inside.” The guy from the house said, pulling her away.
“Holy shit, Sydney. It's been forever.” Clay said, pulling her into a hug.
“Hey.” She smiled at Clay.
Sydney took a step back and stood behind Maggie. The door abruptly opened.
“Mommy, where are you?” the little boy said. He looked at Jack then to Maggie, pointing. “Gramma, that's the guy in the pictures in your house.”
Clay threw his arms in the air. “What am I, chopped liver?”
*
Sydney tapped her pen against her desk. She was stressed out of her mind ever since she saw Jack at the soccer game. After three years of living in Louisville, she finally ran into him. Part of her was proud of herself that she was able to avoid him for that long. The other didn't know how to feel. She was scared out of her mind though.
She never planned to tell him that he had a son, Jaden. She didn't even plan to tell his parents, but they found out a month after she moved in when she was dropping him off at her parents. Sydney had just graduated from Georgia Tech and was working at her grandparents’ (her late dad's parents) architect firm. She begged Jack's parents not to tell him. After how things ended she wanted nothing to do with him. It wasn't like she needed him. She made good money working with her grandparents and she had her own trust fund. Jack's parents help around but she never took any financial gifts from them. She doesn't even know what she's going to do know that Jack knew.
When Jaden popped up at the game she left. She had her bag with her so just scooped up her son and bolted out of the stadium. Since then she's been on high alert, looking over her shoulder in case Jack popped up. He already knew where she lived.
The phone on her desk rang.
Sydney pressed the answer button. “Yes?”
“Miss Hart, your nine am is here.” the firm's receptionist said.
“I don't have a nine am.” she said into the speaker. “Hello? Clara?”
Seconds later there was a knock on her office door. Sydney got up and opened the door. Behind Clara was Jack.
“And here's miss Hart's office.” the receptionist gestured to Sydney. She turned to Jack, fully taking him in. “Would you like anything to drink? We have still water, sparkling water, soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea as well as danishes, croissants, doughnuts, and muffins.”
“I'll take your hottest tea.” Jack smiled sweetly at the sixty-something receptionist.
“Sounds good. If you'll excuse me.” Clara said, leaving them alone.
“How the fuck did you find me?” Sydney asked him, closing the door behind him.
Jack took a seat on the dark purple couch. He picked up a picture frame of her with her dad's parents from her college graduation. In her arms was their son. He couldn't be more than a year and a half.
He turned the frame to her. “You're not that hard to find. Your grandparents own the biggest architecture firm in all of Jefferson County right here in Louisville. I thought it would've been a more neutral place than showing up at your house.”
“Jack, this is my place of work.”
“I want to meet my son.” He said, dismissing her previous comment.
“He's not your son. He's my son.” Sydney sneered.
“You had no right keeping him from me, Syd.” he snapped at her.
“You don't get to be upset, Jack. You don't get to waltz into my job and demand shit from me.” She jabbed her finger at him. “You wanted the divorce. You wanted an out because I was holding you back. But ironically enough you were too much of a coward to tell me. You had to get your little fountain entourage to do it for you.”
“Syd, I don't want to but I will take you to court.” Jack warned.
“I'm sure your fiancé would love to read about your ex wife next to her unsold engagement announcement cover for People magazine. Congrats by the way.” She smiled sweetly.
It hadn't even been a week since they took their engagement pictures when every newsstand and grocery store stand were filled with them. Jack was annoyed because he wanted to wait a few weeks to announce it. Mallory and Neelam rushed it to the stands.
He reached for the stack of sticky notes and pen. He scribbled something on the baby pink post-it then got up.
“You have three days to decide if you let me meet him or I'll get my lawyers involved.” He handed her the sticky note. “Here's my number. I'll be waiting for your call.”
His phone began to ring. He pulled it out of his cargo pants. Sydney saw ‘Neelam’ on the caller ID and rolled her eyes. She and Neelam never saw eye to eye. Most of the animosity came from the fact that Sydney was married to Jack. When they finally called it quits, Neelam was the most excited to see it happen. Her Cheshire cat grin had as Sydney signed every NDA and contact would be forever imprinted in Sydney's mind.
“Your fucking job was to keep tabs on that shit… How could you miss the most important document? Send it fast so we can get it resolved.” He hung up without another word. Jack rubbed his temples. He looked at Sydney and sighed. “Turns out we're not divorced.”

JUST A FAN... RIGHT?
summary: during quarantine you find yourself finding comfort in an up and coming rapper from louisville who is pretty active with his fans, a couple later you end up messaging his fan number never expecting anything from it...
a/n: sorry if this sucks, this was one of those pieces i wrote mostly for me and what i wish would happen when i message that damn number lol, anyways hope you enjoy!!
Tumblr media
Jack Harlow had always been one of your favorite artists since the early start of quarantine when you had seen a tik tok of a baby-faced rapper promoting a song that you had not been able to get out of your head.
At first it was just his music, you loved it and literally couldn’t get enough that you would spend your quarantine listening to it and soon it followed with you diving head first into his  interviews and ‘Funny Jack Harlow Moments’... you were infatuated with and it bled into Twitter.
You used your personal twitter, never fully committing to the whole stan persona because you were still kinda iffy about all that.
In late 2020 and early 2021 Jack was still so active with everything and all the indirects he would get, he was especially active with the tweets that would come from you. You quickly became one of his favorite accounts.
You were super surprised one random day when he followed you, sending you a DM with your tweet linked to it.
YOURTWITTERNAME— dua lipa is stuck in my heaaaaaaad
|
JackHarlow: My song or u just gotta crush on her ?
|
YOURTWITTERNAME: DUA LIPA IM TRYNA DO MORE WITH HER THAN DO A FEATURE
|
JackHarlow: You comin to any shows? |
YOURTWITTERNAME: maybe
|
JackHarlow: Daaaaaaaaamn Y/N don’t treat me like a second choice
|
YOURTWITTERNAME: next time to do something problematic so it’s easier to get tickets
|
JackHarlow: Mmmmm
|
YOURTWITTERNAME: not too much now sassy pants
It was the first and last time that the two of you had exchanged more than a few words or emojis from when he would reply to you on the timeline but it was also the last time that the two of you would talk before he went on tour and stopped getting so active on twitter in general.
You also slowly but surely stopped talking about Jack on Twitter since going back to school in person and just finding a social life, leaving your parasocial relationship with him in the past.
That was until a week ago when he had randomly dropped another album, and decided to promote it by releasing a number that he would be able to communicate with his fans with. It made you smile, this album was for him and the people who truly got him.
You couldn’t help it, even though you hadn’t thought about Jack in a while it still didn’t stop you from listening to his album and eventually messaging the number.
Y/N: i love the album, i know I don’t know you like that but it  feels so you… proud of youuuuu
You never expected a response especially since you were so sure that his inbox was probably flooding with messages from other fans but on the other side of the U.S. Jack’s eyes had caught your name, his head flashing back to yours and his relationship from once before. His number one.
Jack: I’m so glad you love it Y/N , your opinion always gonna mean so much to me
Y/N: questions so about meeeee
Jack: Funny girl huh? You the one who stopped texting and tweeting making me think I fell off
Y/N: WAIT.. not you really texting lmao i thought this was AI
Jack: {SELFIE} Hi
Y/N: still sexy i see
Jack: Staaaaawpppp dont make me blush
Texting Jack felt so weird this time, because it felt normal… like there was no gap between the two of you. Like the two of you had known eachother forever and had always been friends.
When you texted he would respond and sometimes he would even text you first. Things even started getting insanely personal and close when he had requested you on Instagram, something that completely took you by surprise since you had never even given him your name like that.
Y/N: did u just request me?
Jack: Was that weird?
Y/N: I’m confused…
Jack: Nothing confusing just press confirm
Y/N: ok smart ass u know what i mean
When you had finally accepted him he was quick to text you.
Jack: I’m lurking
Y/N: are you now?
Jack: You’re really fuckin pretty how come I never knew that?
Y/N: i don’t know about all that
Jack: Why is ur face not plastered everywhere
Jack: It should be everywhere
Jack: Gorgeous
You could feel your heartbeat increase and as much as you wanted to allow yourself to feel something you couldn’t because you didn’t know him enough to take it seriously. He could very well be saying this to all his fans. Because that’s what you were… a fan.
You were in a random Barnes and Noble when an unknown number started calling you, you gave your phone a confused look before declining it going back to looking at the shelves.
Unknown: Answer the phoneeee
Y/N: do i know u weird ass?
Unknown: Damn ur mean
Unknown: Answer the phoneeeeee
Your eyes widened as a live picture of Jack Harlow sent after the last text and then the phone began ringing again.
Was Jack Harlow calling you? There was just no fucking way.
“Did I win a giveaway or something?” You spoke softly into the phone and you almost dropped your coffee as a familiar voice spoke back.
“That’s how you sound? This shit is crazy…” Jack sighed.
You giggled, “I’m confused?”
“You sound just how I pictured.”
“Why are you calling me, Mr. Harlow?”
“I want to meet you Y/N…” Jack spoke lowly, “I’m gonna keep it a buck and shit if you wanna sell this story to TMZ let me know but I don’t really do this and you know people want a lot from me but I feel like you don’t and shit I may just be talking but… Why you laughing?”
You smiled, “Because you’re you and yet you're stumbling all over your words.”
“What would the world think?” You could almost hear his smile.
“Jack…”
“Y/N…”
You bit your lip confused, “Why do you want to meet me?”
It was quiet for a second before Jack spoke. “Can I be honest with you?”
“Always.”
He let out a chuckle, “I believe that I have a crush on you, Y/N.”
“And what are you gonna do about that?”
And that was how you ended up in Las Vegas after being flown out by Jack Harlow…
You had told him once that you lived in Los Angeles, you didn’t expect him to remember but he did.
Should you have been scared? A man you never met flying you to him to meet for the first time? Sure, but you weren’t because this was Jack, someone who you had been having regular conversations with daily for the past few months. The same guy who admitted to having a crush on you.
But then again this was Jack, a guy you really didn’t know if you were actually being serious. This could have been all a part of a really weird Hollywood cult initiation thing.
Jesus, everything that was coming out of your mouth sounded insane.
To say you were second guessing everything and anything was an understatement, and you were just about ready to hop on the next flight back to Los Angeles— Until you saw him, all covered up in a New Balance set as if it was doing a lot to hide his tall figure.
You smiled at him, instantly grabbing his attention making him do a light jog to you.
His smile was even prettier in person and if you took the time you could count all the freckles on his face.
“Hi.” Jack smiled at you, before pulling a bouquet of…
“Are those Hyacinths?” Those were your favorite flowers, you don’t think you ever even told him that yet there they were in a bouquet in his hand.
Jack shrugged, smiling even bigger. “Like I said I was lurking and may or may not have found through a tweet about animal crossing, which by the way I would love to visit you on your island.”
He was perfect, insanely perfect.
You grabbed them, pulling the bouquet closer to your chest. “They're gorgeous, thank you so much.”
“This is gonna sound really middle school but can I hug you?”
You laughed, before wrapping your arms around him feeling his wrap around you too. You could hear his heart beating.
You looked up at him seeing that he was already looking down at you, “It’s nice to meet you Jack.”
“Right back at you, pretty girl.”
You felt like you were floating as Jack threw his arm over your shoulder, leading you through the busy airport to where his car was waiting.
“Finally, they were just about damn ready to arrest me for parking here.” A familiar face appeared as you walked up to the car.
“Not your fault of course,” The guy winked at you, “I’m Urban.”
Jack quickly brought you closer to him, laughing. “She doesn’t care Urb, now get in the back.”
You smiled, “He doesn’t speak for me. Nice to meet you Urban, I’m Y/N.”
“I hope you chill him out, fame has gotten to his head.”
“I’m sure.” You gave Jack a look before hopping in the passenger seat.
Jack sighed as he got into the car, “I’m not sure I like what’s going on here.”
The drive back to the hotel was full of laughter and getting to know Urban as he talked all the way back. You thought he was funny and could see yourself getting along with him.
Your eyes widened as you rode the elevator up, having to tap the card and put a special code to ride up to a private floor that Jack was staying at.
“I’m not being promiscuous by the way, this penthouse has four rooms so you get your own, but if you want like your own room-room that’s cool too and I can make the call I just want you to be comfortable.”
“It’s fine,” You smiled up at Jack. “It’s perfect.”
“Like you.” Jack winked.
“And that’s my cue.” Urban groaned, “Let me know when yall are done being all cute and shit.”
“Gonna be a while, I don’t think she can.”
“Goodbye!” You could hear the elevator close leaving just you and Jack in the suite.
“I’ll show you your room, so I can put down your heavy ass bag.”
“I told you, you didn’t have to carry it.” You said as you tried grabbing the bag from him, making him pull it up out of your reach.
“Nah, nah.” He shook his head, leading you to your room, the bag still being held up high, “I just did arm day so this is something light.”
You looked at how toned his arms looked as he set down your bag on the dresser in the room he had for you.
You sat down on the bed, “Comfy.”
“Better be, shit cost a ton.” He sat down next to me, “Still not used to all this.”
“Are you excited?” You asked him, “For tomorrow? I was lurking on Twitter and I saw that a lot of your fans are coming.”
“Yeah, I love em’.” Jack smiled, “Want to put on a good show for them especially for canceling so last minute last time. I even had my manager plan a little secret missionary party for them to get to know each other tonight.”
“You’re so sweet, are you gonna make an appearance?”
He shook his head, “Got something else planned for tonight.”
“Like?”
Jack shrugged, “I don’t know, like taking a pretty girl out on a date.”
You nodded, “Hope she has a fun night… I might go visit that Jack Harlow fan party because you know I’m a fan.”
“You’re more than that to me, Y/N.” Jack shook his head, “I hope you know that.”
You wanted to believe it, you really did. But seeing as Jack had chosen a weekend where Vegas would be littered with his fans making it easy to move you into the fan category if he wanted to in case people started asking questions.
You nodded, “Okay.”
Your eyes opened slowly as you woke up from an accidental sleep, you blinked as the once bright room was covered in darkness. How long have you been asleep? How did you even fall asleep?
The date, shit.
You quickly got up, heading to the restroom that was connected to your room brushing your teeth and splashing your face with water to wake you up some more.
“She’s asleep… She got in early… No, it's only been like an hour and a half… Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes… I’m not talking to her… Enough, bye.”
You could hear him talking from the other side of the door. You waited for him to finish his conversation not wanting to interrupt anything.
Slowly, you opened the door walking out in the living room area. His back was faced to you but it didn’t take long for him to turn around, giving you a smile.
“Have a nice nap, pretty girl?”
“Why did you let me fall asleep?” You asked, a little upset that you had wasted precious time with Jack.
He stood up, walking over to you. “It’s okay you weren't even asleep for a long time. Plus that was my bad for booking you such an early flight. I would have done the same.” Jack took your hand leading you around the couch, “Hungry?”
You gave him a deep stare, “Starved.”
Being around Jack felt surreal, almost like you were in a daze.
Eating breakfast, giggling like high schoolers, and just overall getting to know one another was unlike anything you had experienced previously. You were excited about it all— Until reality came to view.
Right when the two of you were about to head out to the dinner that Jack had planned for the two of you he had gotten a call that he had to take in the other room, leaving you with your thoughts about everything that was going on and how everything would end up when you eventually would have to leave.
You frowned as Jack came back in with an annoyed look, “I’m gonna make this up to you pretty girl. I promise.”
“What happened?”
“Club called, wanted me to do an appearance tonight supposedly it was on the contract which is bullshit.” He sighed, “I gotta be there for at least two hours.”
“Two hours?”
“Look when I come back we can—”
You felt like someone had slapped you in the face, “You want me to stay here?”
Jack felt like an asshole. “Pretty girl, it’s just… At these clubs it’s a lot and people take pictures and I don’t want them to ruin this.”
Right. Of course he wouldn’t  want pictures of the two of you together. Gosh, you hope your sadness and disappointment show on your face but when Jack looked at you again you could tell it did. He was looking at you as if you were a kicked puppy— like the girls used to in middle school when you wanted to hang out and they didn’t have the guts to tell you no but they weren't exactly gonna tell you yes either.
“Oh, yeah that makes sense I guess. Um…” You didn’t know what to say in a situation like this, you couldn't exactly argue the two of you were nothing. “I’m tired anyways so yeah… Have fun Jack.”
Jack shook his head, “You’re not tired and you know what fuck it. I’m my own person and if I wanna bring a girl out to something I can.”
Okay, now you were confused which was easily filled in by Jack.
“My management has this thing with image, they portray me exactly how they want me to be and if a heartthrob rapper is who they want me to be I can’t exactly say no… or I couldn’t before.” Jack sighed, “Look Y/N… talking to you these past few months on the phone, in text, and everything in between that's the realest I’ve ever felt with someone in a really long time.”
“Jack…”
“Mm-mm.” He shook his head, “I see the way you’re holding back with me and I don’t want you to. I flew you out to Miami because I needed to meet you, to see you, and I want to continue to see you because I really like you.”
“I’m nobody though, Jack. I’m just your fan.”
“And I’m obsessed that you're my fan but you're much more than that to me.” Jack smiled, “You’re Y/N, a girl who’s obsessed with Taylor Swift, and corrects people when they call Grogu ‘Baby Yoda’, you're someone who loves a cute drink even when they taste horrible, you're the only person I know that can spend hours at Barnes and Noble… You’re much more than my fan Y/N.”
You had spent so much time thinking all of this was one sided like you were the only one learning things about him but it just wasn’t true because he was listening. He was listening to it all, even the smallest details about you that you had only brought up for a second.
“That was the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me.” You smiled.
“Not the paid for airplane ticket and expensive ass suite.” Jack smiled back at you cheekily.
You shook your head, moving closer. “I’m gonna kiss you now.”
Jack leaned down, “I’d be offended if you didn’t.”
And just like that, all the doubt and negative thoughts had washed away when his lips met yours because now you knew that it was all real. Every single feeling that you felt, every feeling that he felt… It was real.
The two of you pulled away breathless.
“I’ve been waiting to do that since you stepped off that plane, and I don’t think I’m ever waiting again.” Jack brought his hand up to cup your face, his thumb brushing over your cheek. “My pretty girl.”

A Special Kind of Heartache
A lil SZA’s SOS inspired Jack fic 🤭 everyone tell @harlowcomehome thank you for being an angel and helping me get out of my writing funk. WE LOVE HER YOUR HONOR
Anyways enjoy my friends 💖💖 as always, all the feedback is welcomed here!!
Tumblr media
“Babe! Can you come in here for a sec?” You yell from your bed, wrapping yourself a little tighter in all your blankets. The new SZA album was playing from your phone that laid beside you. You were listening intently and were really trying to take it all in. You just knew this was your new favorite album even though it had only dropped yesterday.
It was only a matter of seconds before you heard footsteps approaching your shared bedroom with Jack, him standing at the doorframe. “What’s up?” He asked a little out of breath. You knew he had been working tirelessly the past couple of weeks trying to produce new music, and for a split second you felt guilty for distracting him and for even thinking of asking from him what you were about to ask.
You sat yourself up on your bed, the large sherpa blanket draped over your head. “I need you to do me a favor.” You say, quickly holding a finger up at him as your favorite part in Kill Bill was about to blast through your phone speakers.
Jack waits for you to give him the signal to speak as you sway to the lyrics, him silently laughing at you.
“I need you to break up with me,” you start. You don’t even hesitate before continuing knowing that Jack would be confused on your request. “I need to really feel this album. I need to HEAL, Jack. And I can’t do that when if I’m in a happy, healthy, beautiful relationship. So break up with me.” You finish, giving Jack the metaphorical mic to speak.
He lets out a deep laugh, one from the bottom of his belly, as he shakes his head at you and walks back to his home studio. You follow behind him in a hurry, almost tripping over your fort of blankets as you scurry off the bed. You make sure to have your phone in your hand, still blasting SZA, as you follow behind him. “Break my heart, Jack! I’m begging!”
“I’m not breaking up with you.” Jack laughs to you as he approaches the kitchen, ignoring your steps behind him as he begins to make himself a sandwich.
You take in a deep sigh as you prepare yourself for what you were going to do next. You drop to your knees, grabbing his thighs as you look up at him with the biggest puppy dog eyes you could muster. “Please?” You begin to beg, silently gagging at your pathetic state.
“Get up, Y/N. You look ridiculous.” Jack laughs down to you, causing you to roll your eyes and stand up beside him.
“Yeah, you weren’t saying that in the shower this morning, Mr. Tumnus.” You say annoyingly to Jack as you straighten yourself up.
Jack drops the piece of bread that was once in his hand down on the plate in front of him, his eyes locking directly with yours. “What did you just call me?” He asks with a questionable tone.
You realized in that you had full control of this moment. If he wasn’t going to break up with you for no reason, you’d surely find one.
“I called you Mr. Tumnus.” You say confidently, crossing your arms over your chest as a smirk sat at the end of your lips. SZA was still playing in the background as you watched Jack stare at you in shock. “Oh, and Drake is cooler than you! You wanna be him so bad!” You shout to him, hoping to hit every nerve.
Jack forgot his task of making his sandwich as he walked towards his studio, choosing not to fall into your trap. You knew you needed to dig deeper and hit him where it really hurt. You took an audible gulp before this one, “Louisville sucks ass. I don’t see why anyone would be proud to be from that place.”
Jack quickly turned around, causing the two of you to be chest to chest. Jack looked down at you, waiting to see what other remark you had to say. You take another audible gulp before you finish with your final insult. If this didn’t work, you really were going to feel like such an asshole. “You are, you are a mid rapper at best.” You whisper, closing your eyes to avoid watching his reaction. You were doing this for the sake of SZA, and you couldn’t back out now.
“If I break up with you, can we get back together in like an hour or two?” Jack says, eying you up and down. You give him a frantic nod, excitement taking over as you finally get to hear SOS to its fullest potential. “Okay, well, Y/N. We’re over.” Jack says, stepping back from you.
“What, why?” You yell out for theatrics sake.
“Because you really hurt my feelings, hit me where it hurt. Damn” He finishes, walking back to his studio and closing the door behind him.
As if it was waiting for this moment, Special begins to play from your phone. You turn it up as loud is it could possibly go, ready to hear the song how it was meant to be heard- heartbroken. You scurry back to your bed in your fort of blankets just as the chorus begins.
I wish I was special
I gave all my special
You scream from under your blankets, the tears in your eyes already beginning to form. However, you weren’t heartbroken, you just felt guilt.
AWAY TO A LOSER
NOW IM JUST A LOSER
Not only did you insult Jack for the sake of really feeling the music, but here you were belting at the top of your lungs that he was a loser, which was the furthest from the truth.
You turned the song off and decided you needed to apologize to Jack. You chose to leave your fort of blankets behind this time because you wanted Jack to take you seriously.
You took a deep breath before knocking on Jack’s studio door, waiting for him to answer. You weren’t sure why you were knocking as you typically barge right in, but you had to remind yourself that you guys were broken up at the moment. It wasn’t long before the door opens, Jack staring at you in confusion. The moment that your eyes landed on his, you began to sob.
“I’m so sorry for all the mean things I said to you, Jack.” You start, managing to say those words in between gasps.
Jack only chuckles before pulling you into his arms, walking the two of you to the futon he had in the studio. He whispers “I thought this is what you wanted, Y/N,” in your ear as his nails scratched your head that was digging into his chest. If you weren’t sobbing so hard you would address the chuckles you felt leaving his body, but you didn’t have it in you at the moment.
You composed yourself after a couple of minutes, starting your apology. “It was a low blow to say that you looked like Mr. Tumnus and that Drake was cooler than you. Oh and that Louisville sucked and that you were a mid rapper.” You say in between sniffles. “I’m really sorry I said those things. I didn’t mean it. You know that right?”
Jack pulls you closer to him, kissing the top of your head as you lay your head on his shoulder. “I didn’t think you did, babe.” He laughs.
“I also called you a loser. Which isn’t true.” You say.
“When did you call me a loser?” Jack asks suspiciously, trying to recall everything you had said to him.
You gasp at your confession, taking it back immediately. “Oh I was just kidding. I never said that.” You quickly say. “Can we get back together though? I miss you.”
“I never went anywhere,” Jack laughs out, but pulling you closer to him as the two of you began to kiss on the futon.
“You know I never meant any of that? Honest?” You say between kisses and Jack laughed out loud “I know! You were just trying to hit me where it hurt, but I think you should probably make it up to me right?” He smirked and you giggled “I like how you think.”
The straddled him, kissing and sucking on his neck, which you knew would instantly change the mood.
“Nobody gets me is a pretty good song right?” He asked while you were between kisses.
“Jack!” You hit him with the pillow that laid beside you “you listened without me?”
“We broke up remember?” He laughed “I was going through it too!”

not yours, but mine // v.h.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n these two worked well together so i just combined them into one request. i was very inspired by “the nanny” for this so there’s some elements from that here. uhm, other than that.. hope you enjoy. i found some time in between my load to write so, i thought i’d put something out.
vinnie hacker x fem!reader
Word Count: 1.6k, edited
WARNING: language, jelly vinnie, and i think that’s it.
---------
Being the house manager of the Hype House was a task for Y/n. Quite honestly, she felt more like a babysitter than she did anything else. Whether it was getting juice boxes for Jack or tending to Mia’s emotional needs, she was dedicated to her job. But hey, she couldn’t complain. She had a room, gained some followers, and met her boyfriend, Vinnie, here. What more could a young girl like her ask for?
Her hard work didn’t go unnoticed though. Thomas, the head of the house, had been keeping his eyes on her. The way she cared for not only the house but the brand and everyone else showed how dedicated and passionate she was about her job. So, what better way to show his gratitude than to surprise her with none other than her celebrity crush, Jack Harlow? After pulling a few strings, making a few calls, and running through some numbers, he managed to persuade the rapper to come visit. He kept this hidden from any and everyone, not wanting his friends to spoil the surprise—especially considering he wanted to use this for a bit in his upcoming video.
So, when the day came for the surprise to be unveiled, he was on edge. He and the rest of the house sat in the kitchen, Y/n sitting at the table folding Vinnie’s laundry while everyone was scattered around. They listened with close ears as Y/n told them a story about one of her uncles who liked to impersonate Madonna.
"He’s a class act, I’m telling you." She smiled, twirling a pair of Vinnie’s underwear on her finger. "The second he puts on that blonde wig and that cone bra, it’s like a complete transformation." And as she went on to reminisce about the many performances he put on at family events, Thomas found himself tuning her out.
He couldn’t help it. He was far too excited to listen to anything right now. At any moment, Jack would be arriving, and he couldn’t wait to see Y/n’s reaction. He stared blankly at her, resting against the counter with his phone in one hand and his camera in the other. Little did anyone know, he was currently in the middle of recording. He had to be ready in order to capture the moment.
After a few minutes, he felt his phone vibrate. Glancing down at the device, he nearly passed out when he saw the message on his screen.
“Outside," was all it said.
He quickly replied with "Knock on the door," and waited patiently, a smug grin on his face. Seconds later, there was a knock on the door.
Y/n paused, dropping Vinnie’s pants back into the basket before getting up from her seat. "You guys expecting anyone?" She asked, slowly creeping towards the door. Everyone shook their heads. "Did Eamon say he was coming by?" She questioned Vinnie, earning a shrug in response.
Thomas grew anxious, holding his camera up as they neared the door. "Why don’t you open it?"
The girl stared at him, a hint of suspicion in her eyes. "You’re so weird." She stepped up to the door, her housemates standing a few feet behind her, with Thomas in the front. He was on the verge of screaming as her hand touched the doorknob and twisted it.
When she opened the door, Y/n couldn’t believe who she saw on the other side. It was Louisville’s very own Jack Harlow. He looked up and down at her figure before meeting her eyes. He flashed one of his flirtatious smirks as he rubbed the hair on his chin. "What’s up?" He greeted.
Y/n was speechless; she had forgotten how to speak. Hell, she forgot how to move. Whatever control she had over her body was completely gone. The girl was stunned. "I-I…um."
"Can I come in?" The curly-haired boy chuckled.
It was then that Y/n came back to reality and stepped aside. "O-Oh, yeah, of course." As he stepped inside the home, she tried her best to figure out what the hell he was doing here. As far as she knew, no one in the house was friends with him. She was sure none of them had had a conversation with him either. I mean, she did go to one of his concerts with Vinnie and their friends, but that was it. There was no contact whatsoever. So…why the hell was he here.
It wasn’t until Thomas waved the camera in her face that she caught on. "Surprise, Y/n!" he laughed.
"Thomas, what the hell!?" She shrieked. "Why?"
"You’ve done a lot for us, Y/n, and saying thank you is not enough. I know how much you love Jack Harlow, so I decided to get him out here and surprise you." Thomas explained.
Y/n couldn’t help but let a tear fall as she pulled the beefy man into a hug. "Thomas! Thank you!" she exclaimed. Pulling back from the hug, she turned to Jack. "I am such a huge fan!"
"I could say the same."
Y/n nearly fainted at his words. "Wait, what?"
"I see you in a few TikToks," he said. "You cute…or whatever."
Y/n’s cheeks were burning, hot enough to melt an ice cube. She couldn’t believe it. Jack Harlow knew who she was? That thought alone was crazy.
"You’re joking, right? Please tell me you’re joking."
Jack merely shook his head. "Nah, I could never joke about seeing someone as pretty as you."
That was it, that did it. Y/n squealed, flinging herself into Jack’s arms. While everyone cooed and snapped pictures of the moment, there was a certain someone who didn’t find the moment as cute. Vinnie stood at the back of the group, a scowl on his face as he stared daggers at Jack. There’s no way he’s seen Y/n on TikTok. If he had, he would’ve known she had a boyfriend…him. Their relationship wasn’t private, and that was made perfectly clear. Was he actually flirting with Y/n or was this just an average fan encounter for him? Whatever it was, Vinnie didn’t like it, and he wasn’t afraid to show it.
For the remainder of the day, Jack and Y/n spent the majority of the time together. They chatted, shared some laughs, and hugged a couple of times—far more than Vinnie would’ve liked. And each time they gazed into each other’s eyes, Vinnie felt his jealousy grow stronger. Y/n often told him that he had nothing to worry about. That he shouldn’t feel threatened by other guys because she was committed to him. But at this moment, her words just seem like mumbo jumbo. Statements made solely to make him feel better. God, he was going to be on Thomas’ head for this.
When night fell over Los Angeles, Jack made his departure. But, before he left, he made sure to leave Y/n with something. Not a souvenir—no keychain or hoodie—as Vinnie would’ve hoped. Instead, it was a kiss on the cheek. A kiss that made Y/n weak in the knees. And as she fumbled to shut the door, Vinnie rolled his eyes.
"Are you done?" His tone, while comedic, had sass all over it. While it went unnoticed by others, that wasn’t the case with Y/n.
"What?" She asked, retreating to the kitchen with Vinnie following behind her. "What are you talking about?"
He scoffed, "Don’t play dumb with me, Y/n."
"Babe, I literally don’t know what you’re talking about."
"Oh, I’m babe now. The second he leaves, you finally acknowledge me as your boyfriend. Whoop-de-fucking-do."
Y/n tried to hold it in. She tried to conceal it. But seeing Vinnie like this, freaking out over nothing, she couldn’t contain it. Her laugh began filling the kitchen, loud enough to wake up the entire state of California. "Are you serious, Vinnie?"
"Yes, I’m dead serious."
"You’ve got to be kidding me right now." Y/n wiped a stray tear from her eye. "There’s no way you’re jealous right now. No, no…there’s no reason for you to be jealous right now."
Vinnie, once again, rolled his eyes. "You were all over him, Y/n. He was all over you. What do you expect me to feel?"
"Vinnie, he’s my celebrity crush. Keywords being celebrity crush."
"And?"
"And that’s all it is," stated Y/n. She could barely look at Vinnie, too afraid she might cackle the second she laid eyes on him. So, she just kept her eyes focused on the carrots she was chopping up to prep for tomorrow’s meal. "Sure, Jack is cute and sweet and absolutely adorable. He’s Jack Harlow. And yes, I do admire him. But that doesn’t mean I want to date him. Well, not exactly."
"Y/n!"
Y/n stopped chopping and set the knife down beside her. She gained some composure and looked over at her irritated boyfriend, who was ready to pop like a pimple. "What I’m trying to get at is that while I like Jack, I don’t love him. I mean, I do, but I don’t love him like I love you."
She watched as Vinnie’s shoulders dropped slightly, the red in his face fading away. "What happened between me and Jack today is simply just a fan-and-artist interaction, nothing more. I don’t want him, Vinnie. I want you. As I've told you before, you have nothing to worry about. No one has my eye more than you."
"You mean that?" Vinnie had done a full 180, going from berserker to puppy in minutes.
"Every word. I love you, Vinnie."
The boy found himself smiling as he walked over to his girlfriend. "I love you too." He stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. As she continued cutting up some carrots, she was oblivious to the fact that Vinnie had pulled out his phone and began recording a TikTok of the two of them. He rested his chin on her shoulder and looked straight into the camera before placing a kiss on her neck.
Once the short video was over, he captioned it, "not yours, but mine," letting people know that she was exclusively his.

His Favorite Poison (NSFW 18+)
Tumblr media
AN: The trope that a lot of yall live for 🤭🤭
Synopsis: You and Jack grew up together in Louisville, but didn't run in the same circles. From what he had seen, you were bougie, entitled, and stuck up and the last thing he wanted was to be associated with you. Fast forward a few years later, you're new to Jack's team brought on by Neelam and as much as he wants nothing to do with you, he can't help it if you keep pulling him in.
Pairing: Jack Harlow x Reader
Jack Harlow Masterlist

Jack looked at Neelam in disbelief as she explained to him that someone new was joining the team and helping him with his new album.
He was all for it, until he found out it was you.
“Jack, she told me that the two of you grew up together in Louisville, so I felt that it would be nice to have another familiar face around. I figured that she would be a good fit. She is more than qualified to work with us. She’s worked with a lot of different people in the industry already.”
“Well the only thing I know about her is how stuck up and spoiled she is.” It was at that moment, as you were about to turn the corner you heard Jack’s voice and you could only guess that he was talking about you.
“Jack! Be nice! She’ll be here in the next ten minutes.”
“Tell her to turn around and go home because I don’t want her here.”
“Will you stop being an ass for five seconds?” Neelam said quickly growing annoyed with how he was acting. But you were steadily in the corner listening. It seemed like he already had his mind made up about you even though the two of you didn’t really even know each other. Even though the two of you did grow up in Louisville together, you ran in two very different circles. While Jack became a rapper, you became a songwriter and producer. But you two never worked together until now. However you had worked with Bryson as well as EST Gee many times. It wasn’t until Neelam practically begged you to work with Jack.
“No, I won’t stop because I don’t want her anywhere near me.”
Then you decided to make your presence known and not have this go on for any longer. The sooner you got this over with, the better.
“Nice to see you too, Jackman.” You greeted him and he got somewhat of a startled look on his face while Neelam just shook her head.
“Oh… I-...”
“I don’t really care if you don’t like me, I have a job to do. I was hired because I’m obviously capable of doing it. But if you’d rather let Neelam continue to drown and not get my help, be my guest so I can go home. I have plenty of other things that I could be doing but I’m here with you.”
All you got in response was Jack sighing before he rolled his eyes.
“Now that we got that trainwreck of an introduction out of the way, we have a lot to work on. And Jack, did you even brush your hair this morning? You’re giving me caveman vibes.” Neelam stifled a laugh and Jack immediately eyed her as she quickly looked away.
“Who says that I even need your help and for your information, I did.”
“Well, you must have brushed it in the dark and obviously you need my help when you’re putting out albums that only get a 2.9 rating. The people of Louisville expected better from you and I plan on making that happen. So lose your attitude and leave your ego at the door. All those haters that you claimed to have are definitely not hating on that babe. Let’s do better moving forward, okay?”
“Well damn.” Neelam said under her breath, but Jack clearly heard her. At this point, his mouth was hanging wide open.
“We have a lot to discuss so I guess we should get started? Come on you two.”
You walked ahead of the two of them down the hallway and Jack simply turned to look at Neelam.
“I’m going to kill you for bringing her on.”
“You won’t kill me once she helps you. Like it or not, you need her.”
“All she’s done is terrorize me and insult me the minute she got here.”
“To be fair, you started it now, come on.”
You were sitting down trying to think of what Jack could do differently as far as his music went in order for him to bounce back from CHTKMY. It wasn’t a total flop, but after hearing his previous projects you knew that he had it in him to be better.
“Hmm, who knew that this is what I would be faced with on my first day?” You said quietly to yourself and Jack did a double take.
“What do you mean it’s your first day?! You’ve never done this before?!”
“And you’ve never put out an album rating 2.9 before either. We’re both learning here. But I have done this before. Plenty of times actually. I have a grammy sweetheart. I meant I’m faced with you being an ass and have to do my best to make sure this next album is top tier.”
“You don’t have to remind me of that every chance you get.”
“It’s supposed to motivate you to do better and I think I have a solution because no one is going to take you seriously if that happens again.”
“Let’s hear it.”  Neelam excitedly said and all you could do was smile at her.
“Okay so, here’s what I’m thinking. From the research that I’ve done, this next album needs to be ten times or twenty times better than your last obviously. Oh and focus less on side pieces and all the hoes you get because let’s be serious, no one cares. We know you’re attractive and I can imagine you’re even more attractive when you brush your hair so we know the girls are all over you.”
“But…” Jack tried to add, but you cut him off.
“I’m not done. In Churchill Downs you say ‘everybody know Jack, but they don’t know Jackman correct?”
“And? What’s your point?”
“We need Jackman to show up for this next album and not Jack. We need to think outside the box and do something that you’ve never done before.”
“How do you propose I do that?”
“What do you mean how? You need to give your fans the real version of you because that will make them appreciate you even more. Despite you being an absolute asshole to me, I do want to help you do this and I take my job seriously. I felt bad when Neelam started to beg. I’m really here for her if we’re being honest.”
“HEY! You weren’t supposed to mention that!” She exclaimed and all you did was shrug.
“I call it like I see it. Now, we want this to be huge so, no promo whatsoever. We’ll drop a hint a day or two before it gets released and that’s it.”
“Wait a minute now, that sounds like a setup for it to flop.” Jack confessed and you could honestly tell he was worried.
“I promise if you do everything that I say, that it won’t be. And when have I ever made something that was a flop? Put some respect on my name please. I guarantee that I will have you number one on the charts. Just leave your ego to the side and do what you do best and I’ll do the rest. I need you to write a good ass album that will let people know that the little white boy that DJ Drama found from Kentucky is here to stay and he deserves a place in this industry. You’re not a fucking industry plant so you better not act like one. Now are we ready?”
“I didn’t realize that you were a fucking drill sergeant too.” Jack muttered and just crossed his arms.
“If you think this is me being a drill sergeant now, You haven’t seen anything yet.”
“Jack, no. too repetitive.” You said as he was showing you lyrics of the current song that he was writing. It was around 11 at night in Louisville and the two of you had been working just about all day. There were a few other people scattered around the studio and Jack let out a sigh.
“I understand you’re frustrated, but I’m trying to help you make the best album you’ve done to date. So what are you feeling at the moment? We can use that to motivate you.” You curiously asked.
From that first day of the awkward interaction, you and Jack had been spending just about every day with each other working on his new album and of course he was still being an asshole towards you despite you trying to help him. Although Urban told you that he would eventually come around, but you weren’t sure.
“What am I feeling? Feeling like I’m sick of this shit and that I want to go home.”
You simply laid your pen down on top of your notebook and fully turned to face him. He was looking at you curiously knowing that you were probably going to have a slick ass comment come out of your mouth.
“Jack, let’s just be adults and work through this. The sooner we get done, the sooner we go our separate ways and we never have to be bothered with each other again.” You tried not to show the disappointment on your face when you said it. You didn’t understand what he had against you seeing as you two didn’t know each other well.
“He will, if he wants to keep getting hit songs on his album.” Urban muttered and Jack shot him a look.
“Now, I’m going to ask you again, how are you feeling right now?”
It took him a few minutes before he finally answered.
“Like I just want to lay low while continuing to prove people wrong. Let the music speak for itself.”
“Then write that.” You said while scooting your notebook towards him.
He was hesitant, but he eventually took it.
It was almost one in the morning and you were ready to call it quits and resume later that morning. It was now only you and Jack left in the studio and you could tell that the writer’s block was getting to him.
“Jack, just get in the booth.” You said while looking over at him and he looked at you like you had lost it.
“I don’t even have anything written. So what am I doing that for?”
“I’ve been working on a few beats for you. Maybe if you hear it, it’ll motivate you. Do this and we can go home and be right back at it later tonight.”
Jack shrugged before doing as he was told. He now had the headphones on and you hit play on the soundboard. As the beat filled the studio, Jack was surprised and did his best to not show it on his face.
Maybe it wasn’t a bad idea to bring you on after all.
You simply nodded for him to start when he was ready and he simply freestyled what he was feeling.
It must be my skin, I can't think of any other reason I win (Ooh)
I can't think of an explanation, it can't be the years of work I put in
It can't be the way that I stuck with the same friends
It can't be the swag I got when I walk in, it can't be
It can't be the way I treat people or how I make time to see people
Or make sure that they feel like we equals
It can't be the smile, it can't be the eye contact with these crowds
It can't be my pen, it can't be these verses
That make people feel like I'm talkin' to them
It can't be the homage I've paid
Nights when I could've left the studio early, but I stayed
It can't be the tone of my voice
It can't be the thought I put into every choice
It can't be the Jeep instead of the Rolls-Royce
It can't be the downtime with my boys
It can't be the Tribe and the Biggie and the Nas
The Outkast and the Missy in my iPod
It can't be the absence of any facade
It can't be the worldwide hometown pride
So I guess (So I guess)
It must be my skin, I can't think of any other reason I win
I can't think of an explanation, it can't be the years of work I put in
It can't be the way that I stuck with the same friends
It can't be the swag I got when I walk in, it can't be
Once he stopped, he looked over at you to see if you approved and you quickly smiled at him and nodded. Once he was sitting back next to you, he mentioned that another verse and the chorus again would be perfect and that the song would be finished. So you volunteered to help him write it.
It took another twenty minutes, but in the end both of you were satisfied with it.
It can't be some understanding or branding
Or maybe that I'm outstanding
Or all the South American fans that meet me at the airport upon landing
It can't be my aunties and grannies
And every other woman in my family that raised me to be upstanding
It can't be that I simply make ear candy
Especially when the industry could just plant me
Especially when I didn't grow up on Brandy
Especially when I'm havin' dinner in Frankfort with Andy
It can't be a bit of good karma
It can't be the way they all said that he's a charmer
It can't be the lack of chinks in my armor
It can't be the poise when them boys try to harm us
It can't be that we built somethin' to be a part of
It can't be the way that every beat gets barred up
So I guess
It must be my skin, I can't think of any other reason I win
I can't think of an explanation, it can't be the years of work I put in
It can't be the way that I stuck with the same friends
It can't be the swag I got when I walk in, it can't be
“Now this is what I meant when I said that I needed Jackman and not Jack.” You said nodding in approval.
“See if you weren’t so stuck up growing up, we could’ve been making hits.”
“Uhh, thanks? But what makes you think I’m stuck up? You hardly ever said two words to me growing up.”
“Do I really have to explain it?”
“Yes, because I’m obviously confused. I was never mean or rude to you.”
“I guess not since you probably didn’t know I existed. You always had this thing about you like you thought you were better than everybody.”
“Where did you even get that from because that couldn’t be further from the truth. I knew that you existed right along with the rest of your friends.”
“Let’s just drop it. I appreciate you doing this for me. Sooo, same time tomorrow?” Jack asked while getting up to gather all of his things and you quickly followed suit.
“Yes I’ll be here.”
“I still don’t like you or trust you though.”
Your heart somewhat dropped hearing him say that and you wanted more of an explanation to what he said before. You barely said two words to him when you were younger because you were shy and you had the biggest crush on him. You still did, but knew since he had this idea of how you were in his head already that even being friends would never be a reality. But you knew you had to separate your feelings from your job. You were here to help make him an amazing album and that was it.
“Just like I said before, you don’t have to.”
It had been about two months or so since you first started helping Jack write his album and it was going smoothly despite the awkward beginning that the two of you had. Even though Jack originally told you that he didn’t particularly care for you, his feelings were starting to change the more time that he spent with you.
He noticed that everyone that came into the studio gravitated towards you no matter what was going on and that people spoke very highly of you.
Not once did he hear anyone say something bad about you. It wasn’t until the two of you were getting ready to leave for the night when you noticed him hovering near the door. You simply raised your eyebrow up at him as he shifted his weight back and forth.
“Did you need me for something?” You asked while turning around to look at him.
“It’s 3 in the morning and I don’t want you walking to your car by yourself.” Jack confessed while scratching the back of his neck.
“We’ve left later than this before and I was just fine.” You replied while looking in your tote bag for your keys.
“I get that, but I should have done it then too.”
You threw your bag over your shoulder and met him at the door with him moving to the side so that he could let you go out first and he would follow behind you. The two of you then walked to your cars in silence and Jack was surprised to find out that the two of you had actually parked next to each other.
“You would have a BMW.” Jack blurted out before he caught himself. He was trying to turn over a new leaf with you and it obviously wasn’t starting off well.
“What is that supposed to mean, Jack?” You asked before sighing and opening your door.
“Um… just that it suits you. That’s all.”
“I’m safe and sound in my car so you can go ahead and go home.” You threw your bag in the passenger seat, but Jack not wanting the night to end just yet had gotten a bright idea. He didn’t want to admit to himself how much he liked spending time with you.
“Um, I’ll follow you to make sure you get home okay.”
“Are you…. Do you feel okay?” You asked, confused by the sudden change of heart. Two months ago he didn’t even want to be in the same room with you and now he wants to follow you in his car to make sure that you got home okay?
“I feel fine.” Jack answered as he shrugged and got into the driver’s side of his Jeep. The two of you started up your cars and were on your way.
You made sure that Jack was close behind you as you merged onto the highway. You looked into your rearview mirror periodically to make sure that he was behind you and put on some music to distract yourself from your thoughts. You didn’t quite know what was happening between you and Jack, and you were sure that your heart did a backflip when he wanted to make sure you got home safely.
You didn’t know if that was good or bad.
He had never done that before and you also noticed that he was starting to get shy around you. Whenever you would bring up something, he would see what you thought first before giving his opinion.
It took about twenty minutes before you were pulling into the parking garage where your condo was. Once you had parked, you noticed that Jack had pulled up next to you. You had gotten out and made your way towards him as he rolled down his window.
“Thanks for making sure I got home okay.” You said while giving him a small smile which he eagerly returned.
“Oh, you’re welcome. I really didn’t mind.”
Since the two of you had pulled into the garage, you noticed that it had started to rain heavily and because you didn’t want him driving in that trying to get home, you suddenly blurted out for him to stay with you before you could stop yourself.
“Um, do you want to come inside? It’s pouring out here and I can’t have you driving home in that.”
“I really don’t live that far away and don’t want to be an inconvenience to you.”
“You won’t be, I promise. Just come on before either of us get sick and then it’ll take us even longer to finish your album.”
Once the two of you hit the top floor in the building, you led him down the hallway and stopped in front of your door while fishing for your keys in your bag to open the door. Once you did, you led the two of you inside and Jack was looking around taking in his surroundings. Everything was neat and extremely organized just how you were.
He didn’t expect anything less from you.
It was at that moment you suddenly had a thought.
“Shit.” You quietly said, but Jack still heard you.
“What? What’s wrong?”
You simply threw your head back and sighed before answering him.
“I forgot my brother is staying with me this week so he’s in the guest room.”
“I can take the couch, it’s not a problem.”
“Jack, your 6’3 ass will not be comfortable especially if you want to stretch out. You can sleep in my room and I’ll take the couch. I have a king sized bed.”
“Absolutely not. I’m not kicking you out of your room. You were nice enough to let me stay so that I didn’t have to drive in the rain but I’m not doing that. And what do you need with a king sized bed? Aren’t you like 5’1?”
“Watch it Harlow. Just…. come on.” You grabbed his hand and led him to your bedroom. You immediately went to your vanity to start taking off your jewelry while Jack awkwardly stood in the corner.
“Jack, I don’t bite. Make yourself comfortable.” You said as you began to put your hair up.
He slowly slipped off his shoes as you went to change into your pajamas in your walk-in closet. When you came back, your breath hitched in your throat because he was now shirtless laying on your bed with his hand behind his head scrolling through his phone.
Get yourself together, Y/N. You thought to yourself before sliding in next to him. Jack put his phone down when you did and he looked just about as nervous as you did.
“Uhh, what time were we going to head to the studio?” Jack curiously asked as you turned out the light. You figured he wouldn’t be able to see how nervous you were in the dark.
“Um around 11? How does that sound?”
“That sounds fine. I have another song that I wrote the other day that I wanted you to look over for me.”
“Okay.”
It was quiet for a few minutes with just the sounds of both of your breathing in your room before you heard Jack’s voice again.
“Y/N?”
“Yeah?”
“Thank you for doing this for me even if it didn’t start out so well. You could’ve quit right then and there. I’m happy that you didn’t.”
“You’re welcome and I meant what I said. It’s my job and I’m going to make sure that this album is successful. Now go to sleep because we have a lot to do today.”
“So you mean to tell me that you slept in the same bed as the girl that you absolutely hate last night?” Urban asked his best friend on facetime as Jack was picking up what he learned was your favorite breakfast while also getting himself something from a small cafe down the street. He noticed how you came in with the same bag to the studio everyday and he has learned from Neelam that you liked chai tea and not coffee so that’s what he got you.
“Hate is such a strong word.”
“You weren’t saying that two months ago. I remember every day for that first month you complaining about her despite her doing something that benefits you.”
“I woke up with my arm around her and luckily she was still sleeping. I left and went home to take a shower and change my clothes.”
“And now you’re picking her up her favorite breakfast. Hmm, you're whipped.”
“What? How am I whipped? We aren’t even together.”
“Not yet anyway.”
“There’s no way. I don’t even like her like that.”
All Urban did was eye him and Jack quickly looked away as his name was called to pick up your order.
He made his way back to his Jeep before saying anything else.
“Ask her out.”
“She has it in her mind that I don’t like her. So I can imagine that’s not going to go all that well.”
“Why would she think that unless you actually told her that? She literally invited you to her condo and the fact that the two of you didn’t fuck is beyond me. If you don’t want her, send her my way.”
All Jack did was scratch the back of his neck as Urban looked at him in disbelief.
“No the fuck you didn’t tell her that.”
“Ehh, not exactly my best moment.”
“Why are you such a dumbass sometimes? You have literally had this one-sided beef with her for years and one that she doesn’t even know about. She deserves at least that much from you. To explain it, I mean.”
“I ask myself that every day and I don’t know if she even wants to hear me out.”
“Tell her how you feel before someone else swoops in and gets her.”
Jack had now made it back to your condo and briefly knocked on the door and was hoping that your brother didn’t answer because the last thing he wanted was to have to explain what was going on between the two of you. You opened it and simply eyed him as he handed you the bag that contained your food and what you assumed was chai tea.
“What’s this?” You asked while looking at him dumbfounded.
“Your breakfast. It’s the least that I could do for you letting me stay here.”
“Oh, you didn’t have to do that.”
“And I know you don’t really drink coffee so that’s chai tea. Neelam said it was your favorite.”
“Hmm, well thank you. I appreciate it.” You said while moving to the side so he could walk past you.
You locked the door behind him and went to the kitchen to sit across from Jack at the island as he also started to eat his food.
“Is your brother here?” Jack curiously asked while looking around and all you did was smirk.
“No, he left out earlier. Why?”
“I just didn’t want to explain why I was coming out of your bedroom at the crack of dawn just in case.”
“Last time I checked I was a grown ass woman and it wouldn’t be any of his business anyway. If I want to have sex with multiple people in one night then I’m going to without any input from anyone else.”
You saying that made Jack feel a wave of jealousy come over him and the fact that it wasn’t him that you were referring to. The sexual tension at least from his point of view was quite evident between the both of you, but since he had been an asshole to you before, he highly doubted that you would want to be anywhere near him when this was over and done with.
“Fair point.”
It was now around four in the afternoon and everybody was stating how hungry they were and Jack took it upon himself to ask you to go to lunch with him and that he would treat you.
“You treated me this morning, so let me return the favor.” You said while looking up at him as he towered above you.
“No, you working on this album with me is more than enough. I’m treating you and I know the perfect place that we can go.”
You held your hands up in surrender and let him have his way, not wanting to go back and forth with him.
“Okay, let me just go to the bathroom and I’ll be ready.”
“I’m serious Y/N, leave your wallet here.”
“Fine.”
You walked down the hallway until you got to the bathroom and quickly went inside and locked the door behind you.
Only a few minutes had passed and once you finished drying your hands, you opened the door to see Jack standing on the other side of it. Before you could ask him if something was wrong, he abruptly kissed you and pushed you back inside all while locking the door behind him.
You eagerly kissed him back as he sat you on the counter before he reached down in an attempt to pull your dress up around your waist so that he could have easier access to you.
He briefly broke away from you to look down at you for approval and you quickly nodded. Jack got on his knees and slid your black thong down your thighs before putting it in his back pocket leaving you with your mouth hanging wide open.
Proceeding to spread your thighs, Jack got as close as possible as he could to you taking one long lick and you immediately shuddered while your hands went into his curly hair.
It took everything in you to hold back your moans not wanting anyone to hear you since you didn’t know how many people might be around.
“Jackkkk, shit.”
He continued to lap at your folds and couldn’t wait to see you come undone in front of him. If someone had asked you two months ago if you thought that you would be in the position that you were currently in, the answer would have been no.
“Mmm, you taste so fucking good.” You heard Jack say and you couldn’t help but to moan.
“Shiiit, I’m close.”
Upon hearing you say that, Jack immediately went to suck on your clit making you hold your hand to your mouth in an attempt to stay quiet. You let a few moans escape here and there before both of your hands went back into his hair.
In less than a minute, you came all over his face as he continued to lap at your folds. He finally stood up and you brought his lips to yours in a kiss that almost felt desperate. As you were kissing Jack, you were multitasking as you undid his pants and slid them down along with his boxer briefs to his ankles.
You definitely did a double take once you saw how big he was, but that wasn’t going to stop you seeing as you didn’t know if this would ever happen again.
“Fuck, I don’t have a condom.”
“Doesn’t matter, I’m on the pill.”
Jack simply nodded as he slowly entered you and kept going until he bottomed out and let out a moan.
One thing you loved during sex is if a man was vocal and you could tell that Jack wasn’t about to disappoint you.
You reached up to place your arms around his shoulders as he whispered in your ear.
“You okay?”
You simply nodded in return now that you had time to adjust and Jack quickly showed you no mercy with the pace that he was moving in and out of you with.
“Fuck, you feel so good around me.” You heard Jack say as you once again covered your mouth in an attempt to hide your moans.
Nothing was working as he increased his pace and you loudly moaned his name.
“Shh, baby we don’t want anyone to hear us .”
You whimpered as you felt his thrusts get sloppier and you knew that he was close and it was only a matter of time before it happened.
You didn’t know how much time had passed, but you knew that the two of you needed to get back down the hallways before anyone suspected anything.
The both of you finally released at the same time as Jack was placing kisses along your neck as you came down from your high.
It took a few minutes before your breathing to become even again as Jack slowly slipped out of you.
You began to hop off of the counter so you could pull your dress down, but not before Jack brought his lips to yours once more.
“You think they’re looking for us?” Jack asked you as his forehead was laying against yours and you had gotten lost staring into those blue eyes that you loved so much.
“They might be so let’s go.”
Once again, you attempted to hop down, but Jack immediately stopped you.
“I’ll go first then wait a few minutes, okay?” Jack proposed and you nodded.
The both of you quickly got dressed and Jack left out first leaving you confused on what had just happened.
You had just had sex with Jack in the bathroom at the studio.
The thoughts were going through your mind at 100 miles an hour but you couldn’t think about that right now.
You still had a job to do and would deal with your feelings later.
Finally you hopped off the counter and had a realization.
Jack definitely slipped your thong into his back pocket.
Once you had gotten yourself together, you walked back into the studio to see Jack talking and laughing with Urban as you made your way back to your seat.
How were you even supposed to concentrate after that?
But, at the end of the day you were a professional and knew you needed to get this done.
No matter how hard it would be to now have to face Jack every day.
“You okay,Y/N?” Urban asked you and you simply shot him a small smile.
“Never better.”
Over the next few weeks, Jack had acted like nothing had happened between the two of you and for some reason it was bothering you to no end.
So he could just have sex with you whenever he wanted and act like everything is normal?
Luckily, it was an off day for you and all you were doing was laying around your condo, stuffing your face with food and catching up on all your shows when there was a knock at the door.
You checked your security camera to see that it was him.
Him as in Jack.
You rolled your eyes and slowly walked to the door, swung it open and walked back to the couch without even acknowledging him.
Jack thought it was weird that you didn’t say anything to him and simply followed you to sit next to you.
It was quiet for a few minutes before either of you spoke and Jack was extremely nervous and didn’t want to be the one to break the silence.
“What do you want, Harlow?” You asked while not taking your eyes off the television.
“I.. I wanted to talk to you about what happened.”
“So, it took you weeks to do that?”
“No… well… I didn’t mean for it to take this long. I just didn’t know what to say.”
“Didn’t know what to say? You literally put my thong in your back pocket, ate me out, and rearranged my guts in a studio bathroom and you have no clue what to say to me?”
“Look, I like you Y/N, I like you a lot and I’ve been afraid to admit it outloud. How I treated you was unacceptable and I want to apologize for it. I admit that because of what I heard about you, I already had this idea in my head about who you were as a person and that wasn’t right. I didn’t even give you a chance and I was judging you. You’ve been nothing but amazing to me this entire time as you helped me to do this album despite how I treated you. You’re a sweetheart who also takes her job seriously and I love that about you.”
“I just never understood why you hated me so much.” You said while finally turning to look at him.
“I didn’t hate you!”
“But you didn’t particularly like me either or trust me and you told me that yourself.”
“Um, well….”
“Just drop it, Jack. Your album is just about finished. We can go our separate ways and act as if this never happened.”
“But what if I don’t want for us to go our separate ways?” He asked while taking your smaller hand in his.
“What are you even saying?”
“That I want to take you out on a proper date which doesn’t end up with me fucking you in a bathroom.”
“But who says that I didn’t want you fucking me in the bathroom?” You curiously asked before smiling at him.
“Let me at least buy you dinner first.”
“It’s a deal and I’m going to need my thong back.”
“No you don’t. I’m definitely keeping it.”
