Lookism: "No thank you! I have a partner!"
Silly. G/N. Y'all probably seen the meme. Your partner comes home drunk and doesn't recognise you.
Gun Park, Ryuhei Kuroda, Goo Kim, DG, Vin Jin, Jake Kim, Samuel Seo
Loud scratching and thumps at your front door wakes you. You wonder whether to arm yourself with a frying pan and then you hear your boyfriend muttering slurred profanities.
A loud bang reverberates through your home as he stumbles, drunk, through the door.
With a sigh, you crawl out of bed to check the state they're in.
Gun gazes at you, bleary-eyed and half focused. Slightly swaying on his feet, a very unusual sight of someone usually in full control of their body.
Then something clicks in his brain, eyes hardening just before he looks away. He tells you, tone disinterested, that he's a taken man.
"I don't know how I ended up here, but don't get the wrong idea."
He turns around, exits his own living room, exits his own home, and sleeps outside the apartment in the hallway instead.

"Yeah you're pretty cute," Ryuhei mumbles, words slurring together, "But my partner is cuter."
He pulls his phone out, drops it twice, unlocks it on the third attempt and shows you a picture - one that you have seen, actually one that you took of him smooching you on the cheek.
"Aren't they cute?" He beams, utterly besotted. "Let me just crash here," he says as he collapses on the sofa. "If you touch me I'll scream."

"Get your hands off me!" Goo screeches, slapping you away as you try to undress him and get him ready for bed. "My my, you're forward aren't you?"
Goo leans forward and gives you a smile halfway between utterly charming and complete sleazeball.
Then, all bravado evaporates and he sighs.
"Oh sweetheart you would be just my type, but," he pushes you off the bed, "I'm taken and very happy about it."
He lies down, burritoing himself and turning his back to you. "You can make your own way out."

Vin fiddles with his sunglasses, peering approvingly at you.
Even in his drunken haze he can tell that damn, you're fine. Except. He is also lucid enough to realise he is not looking respectfully anymore and he thinks of you, his ride or die, and his face completely changes.
He frowns and asks you what the hell you are looking at. That you have no chance. He has a partner at home that is much hotter, much better, thank you very much and yeah he's an asshole but he's not going to cheat so back the fuck off.
You roll your eyes, hackles would have been much higher if he wasn't actually being sweet in his own way.

DG takes a moment to process the situation. And when he does, he gets it completely wrong.
He plasters on his k-pop smile. The one reserved for winning over fans, interviewers and for his insincere apology videos.
"Did you want an autograph?" He pulls out a photocard from his inner pocket and a pen (and wow, you did not realise he carried a stack of his photos. You are not going to let him live this down) and scribbles his signature that comes with some love hearts and sparkles and passes it over to you.
"Here you go," he holds it out to you in both hands, not before mumbling under his breath, "You're cute but shit if you turn into another stalker..."

Jake is already asleep on the sofa by the time you pad out, which must be some super power in itself.
"Wake up," You give his shoulder a shake. He frowns, then cracks one eye open. "Come to bed."
He grunts something indecipherable and attempts to roll his oversized frame on your undersized sofa.
"Jake, cmon."
You start to drag him to your bedroom, your touch finally waking something inside and he bolts upright, removing your hands firmly off him.
"I have a partner." He tells you with no room for any misinterpretation. "But," he scratches absentmindedly at his stomach, "Do you have any food?"

Samuel does as he's told. Obediently removing his trousers, and unbuttoning his shirt, taking it off-
(Truly, you had no ulterior motive, you just wanted to remove the stink of alcohol.)
When, maybe for the first time in his life, he is afflicted with modesty and a startling clarity.
He yanks his shirt back on and pulls his trousers on with surprisingly sober efficiency.
"Absolutely not," he glowers at you, "This is not happening. I'm taken."

ok so I’ve just gotten into lookism (like binged all of it in 5 days) and I’m 90% sure that goo is gonna die and everyone who read it with me is in denial

y’all prob know already but 2 years ago in an interview ptj said that a character that has been there since the beginning, that readers never thought would die, would die. And that character would take on a huge role prior to death. READERS WOULD ALSO “see the real side of gun”.
OK SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ANYTHING PAST CHAP 470?? I think
so goo has been there since the beginning of the story (kinda) and he was a character that ppl two years ago would never think would die. He has also now betrayed Charles Choi with his “secret friends” and it’s prob gonna impact the plot line a lot. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON CHAPS 479 and 480

You just look at the apartment with many memories you’d shared with him
On the outside he may seem like a gentleman but deep down inside you, you’d wish you did t meet him in the first time. Especially since you saw his actual side other than his “hot rich ceo” demeanor. How you’d wish you’d never stop to apply to that job
You were just a newcomer to OneMCN company to apply as a new beauty and gamer newtuber trying to earn money to support yourself and your family back in the countryside. You’d enter to get interviewed by him
Yeah you were attracted to him, but who wouldn’t? He’s tall, handsome, and rich(everyone Lookism simps type ever)
You enter the office and sat down. He looked through your files, and then you. At first it looked like he was t interested, but in his mind: he was immediately attracted to you, wanted to be your everything. He’d put on that serious cold face and started your interview.
After a while, he tells you that you were hired, you were officially his new secretary. He’d tell you that you start tomorrow, and you were full of glee. You’d thank him and left the building.
You know the next thing people(I know that I sound lazy, but like it’s 4am and I don’t have much to write about 💀, plus this is a one shot :)): you guys grow closer, he’d offer coffee dates, you guys see each other more often, you guys hang out on the weekend, then he’d asked the big question: will you be my one and only. Of course you said yes.
Sure this relationship sounds great, but cmon let’s be honest. This is Sammuel we’re talking about
He’d usually be so cold around you at the office, treating you like his secretary, you’d only respect his wishes by treating him as your boss
But it only got worst a few weeks where he’d lashed out on you, treat you like nothing, he’d ignore you, come home late smelling like alcohol and smoke. Worst of all, there would be situations where he’d harm you for the smallest things: like let’s say you accidentally spilled coffee on his paperwork’s, when you try to apologize he would grab your wrist and yell at you, then would angrily clean up your mess
You knew that this was unhealthy, but he would try to apologize with small gifts to dates where he wouldn’t talk to you.
You knew the sign and eventually would leave. Looking back at his home and left a note
A couple of days were about self care and healing. You’d eventually moved back into your small apartment near the city and eventually went to therapy for it.
You left your job at OneMCN and decided to ask for your classmate Jace for a job at the cafe he worked at. He was hesitant but agreed. You entered your new work environment and worked your hardest
A few months later you’d eventually made enough money to pay rent and send money to your family.
You’d eventually decided to celebrate at a local club and was escatic. You’d danced the night away, and eventually met a nice guy, Byung ho. You’d met him at the club and met him back again at the coffee shop you worked at. You guys eventually hanged out at his place.
While you and him were walking down the street, you both bumped into a familiar tatted man.
He’d just looked at the both of you guys dumbfounded, the look on his face wasn’t looking good. He’d just push Byung out of the way and grabbed your wrist to drag you to your apartment which was conveniently on the way.
He’d just slam the door shut and pushed you against the wall
“Wanna explain this shit to me y/n?” He said while he grabbed your wrist to pin you on the wall
“I left you for good Sammuel, Why come back to me?” You said trying to escape his grasp, but lmao you we’re struggling
“Who said you left me? I didn’t give you any signals who said you can just leave like a rushed car?” He said while his glasses were sliding off his nose bridge while he came closer to you.
You’d managed to kick him just enough for you to push him away, and you just walk away from him
But to your appeal, he just grabbed your wrist slightly, pulling you in into a big embrace
You knew that it was wrong, but it felt sincere.
You just stood there, while he turns you around and kisses you passionately
You’d dint pull back, push him away, or just slap him. You just gave in
The moon shining through your window and how the stars twinkled. You were enjoying the moment.
And that’s how he’d trapped you into your relationship. You’re trap like a fly in a spiderweb

some of the exhalation stories are pretty solid and better than most of those in stories of your life and others, while others are strangely more plot intensive and longer and idk i actually don't prefer this. it just takes longer to paint the relatively straightforward self contained worlds and central scifi ethical questions, and muddies the waters with unnecessary details and interactions without fully committing to character growth. like for example the one abt the stupid animal ai's just kept going on and on. fuck that was boring as hell. and the time travel portals one was beautiful but not refreshing and i'm a little bit disappointed in its limited imagination as a time travel story, even tho that was kind of the point. and what's expected of us was pretty much just as basic and stupid as the ones i didn't like in the other book. i guess i'm not impressed by the concept "what if this seemingly impossible revelation just drove ppl insane bc they couldn't accept what they saw contradicting everything they knew" bc i just don't think ppl operate like that.
so i'm def more of a fan of the shorter ones, or spliced together documentary style ones. exhalation is quite good, and i appreciate a mostly plotless description of another fascinating society/universe. i also liked the one abt lifelogs and recorded memories. it's similar in quality and structure to the one abt lookism in the other book, with a multi-form interview/article style exploration of an ethical dilemma where both sides pretty clearly have pros and cons and the scientific development that already happened makes it so u can't just avoid answering the question. and i fucking loved the great silence, that one made me tear up. on the 2nd to last story rn.

This man I swear, he's so crazy but that's why I love him
Now Jinho is a character, we know that. He's heartless. His empty. But if all that doesn't matter to you and you actually manage to catch his interest then good for you. As long as you don't try to cross him you should be relatively okay. Hopefully.
Do I see him as the type to cuddle you or hold your hand? No but I think that if you were to just do it anyway while he was in a good mood, he would find it amusing and indulge you.
I feel like he would bite honestly. I mean look at him
He's a little shit. He will play with you like another one of his toys. He will lie, manipulate. and do other horrible things to you because at the end of the day he's a bad person. That's what draws us in though, right?

Eli Relationship Headcanons
Protective. He doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you. You’re part of his little family after all.
This is a given but you’d have to get along with his daughter. I sort of feel that if Yenna doesn’t like you/you don’t treat her like your own daughter (even if you don’t have one) then you just aren’t going to have a relationship sorry.
Wants to constantly be around you. Not in a clingy way, though I feel like he had his moments, but in a way that he just genuinely enjoys being around you and spending time with you.
Speaking of spending time together, if you plan something and bring all of Hostel along his heart will probably melt. Especially if you get along with all of them. The fact that you are actively working to establish a relationship with his family sends him straight to cloud nine.
Honestly if he found out that you hung out with them outside of when he’s with you he’d die on the spot.
Overall, sweet boyfriend. He really cares about you and if I’m being honest he feels like the type that if he loves someone, he’ll be devoted to them. So that means you better be devoted to my man Eli as well or we’re fighting (I love this man)

Seongjun with a S/O Headcanons
SOFT. SOFT BOY.
You saw him in his little flashback dresses up for his girlfriend. He’d do the exact same for you. Boy is absolutely whipped for his lover.
Kisses his lover every morning without fail. Sucker says that kisses from his partner are his good luck charms so expect him to want kisses before streams, interviews, etc.
Absolutely does not let 244 around them. He knows first hand how dangerous Jinho is and just doesn’t want them to be involved with him at all costs.
He loves making food but if they cooked for him a special dinner for a date night or something he’d die. Actually, he’d eat it first then die. His partner does even have to be a good cook for him to eat it. That’s how much he loves them.
Steal and wear his hoodies. Boy will melt. Especially if he doesn’t know then sees a post with his lover wearing it on social media. He will call them right away to tease them.
Sweet, sweet boy that loves his partner. Ride or die for them. Seriously though, he’s the definition of ride or die. He would fight Jinho with his bare hands in a Dennys parking lot at 2 am just for them. 10/10 love him (love jinhoe more tho <;3)

An internship is such an extensive experience before we start working for actual companies, associations, and a team. I have been working for a sports company for 9 years in Japan. I know how to work with people and a team, follow rules and do time management. Also, I have experience teaching practice in which university students do teaching practice in a junior or senior high school before obtaining their teaching license. I have had several experiences in Japan, but my concern is the gap between Japan and Australia. There are different lifestyles and working styles, also people. I mentioned in entry 1 that my strength is making an effort, but my weakness is a lack of asking questions or having someone to help because I am overthinking or worrying about it would be too basic or feel like I should have known and just stop asking questions. I was working in Japanese industries and always felt I should be perfect or cannot make any mistakes. However, what I learned here is never silly or wrong questions and of course, no one is perfect. Pretending to understand something is more disrespectful to the person who talked with.
The most I felt was that the difference between Japan and Australia is a way to consider people which is included in a resume. In Japan, it tends to judge people from their backgrounds such as which university they graduated from or their appearance or age. I feel like they do not look at the inside of their personality. The resume in Japan needs a picture and shows the ages. According to Ghodrati and Muati (2015), appearance can have various effects on an individual's course, determined by business and increasing productivity or discriminating against customers are two ways in which appearances are valued in many organizations.
When I started working in Australia, what I felt the most was they focused on the inside of people no matter where they are from and what they did. I think it is because of the multi-cultures in Australia. Of course, when I came to Australia for the first time, I was struggling to find jobs. I went from door to door to more than 100 places giving out my resume every single day but never got responses. There were many reasons why I could not get any responses. Firstly, I did not know how to write and what was important for a resume and cover letter, also a good way to approach them. I learned how to make a resume and cover letter, and what is important to apply for jobs. When recruiters review resumes, they can decide whether to interview and make a hiring decision (Fianchetto, 2021). I appreciate that I will be able to get an opportunity to do internship work and will do my best to improve myself.

Sorry I had this on my inbox for a while...
Lately these days I've been with a Sanzu brainrot so why not, I was thinking of a scenario based on a comedy sketch
Call me Cricket, Sanzu x reader funny scenario
Sanzu was annoyed, the last Bonten dealer passed away so that meant he had to search for a new dealer and help find a new employee who was disposed to work for Bonten. If that already put him on a bad mood, the peak was having to spend all day receiving job interviews, all the dealers that he interviewed made his blood boil.
Sanzu massaged his temple and sighed “Next!” he looked at the door and saw you enter, he rolled his eyes and made a gesture inviting you to sit at the chair in front of you, he already wanted to send you off from your looks, you looked clumsy and too innocent, he even for a moment doubted about the reason of the interview.
“what’s your name?” he gave a tired look at you, you smiled at him and placed innocently your hands on the desk, playing with your fingers “call me cricket” he raised an eyebrow and asked again “what’s your name?” this time he was more curious “just call me cricket” you said with a innocent tone.
“okay, cricket, have you been in jail?” he read from the paper Kokonoi prepared him for every candidate, your eyes where looking around the place, when you found out that the silence was a bit long, you answered him “yup” Sanzu seemed surprised and, for some reason, the annoyance he had was vanishing and being replaced with a funny curiosity, basing on your looks you didn’t look like you had been in jail so he had to ask “it was because of a mistake or were you incrimated?” you laughed a bit and replied “naaaaah” “naah, I deserved that one” Sanzu left a chuckle and leaned closer to you, you got his attention.
Sanzu read from the paper again “do you have any tattoos?” his question made you look intrigued “what does this have to do?” you said pointing at his sleeve tattoo, surprising him since it was difficult to be noticed since the sleeves where almost covering it “I don’t know, all companies ask that so it is on the paper” you left a childish “hoo” to show you understood him “I don’t have any for the moment” you pointed at his tattoo again “but do you get one once you join the company?” “because the weird creepy looking tall man was wearing one on his neck” Sanzu hold his laughter at from the way you refereed to one of the Haitani’s and although he was dying to ask you for who you were referring to, he had to continue with the interview.
“You know how to use weapons?” he asked more seriously, you were looking at your nails and responded with an uninterested “yees” “which ones?” “all of them” there was another weird silence that you broke “I also make some” you won him “how do you fucking make them?” you leaned your back at the chair backrest “we need a short section of water pipe made of steel, steel or brass caps, match heads, and hobnails” he smiled at you “cool, I like it MacGyver” you both laughed.
“do you consume drugs?” he kept reading Kokonoi’s paper “nah” you said innocently again, Sanzu was a bit confused, you said things a gang member would say but you looked like a normal society member, someone who would really be easy to rob “but, you know how to get them?” you left this time a more mischievous smile “that’s why I am here, am I wrong?” Sanzu left a relaxed sigh “good” he looked at the last question from the paper “Cricket” you looked at his eyes and left a “hhmm?” “did you kill someone?” you looked meditative “dunno” you replied innocently again “how come you don’t know?” he said intrigued “I mean, it’s not like I came back to ask him ‘are you okay dude?’” Sanzu laughed at your reply and extended his hand to grab yours “hired!”.

Ok so in some interview, ptj said that one character is gonna die, bruhhh I really had this thought and pushed it to the back of my mind that, it might be either sinu or Jake and when I saw the third last panel, istg I thought that no it can't be Jake T_T, fortunately, it isn't Jake I'm so relieved 😅😅 and I'm happy that sinu finally managed to get back his memories! And the way they all look so determined! I can't wait for the next episode!!!
