SPY X FAMILY THEORY:

Anya and Damian’s love story, Loid’s Plan D

I love the ship between Damian and Anya, I love Damian’s pure and genuine love towards Anya, her innocence and how comic this relationship is.

But as I was reading the latest short mission, the very last chapter you can find online, I have realised something.

There is this panel where Loid looks down to Anya and tell her “make this worth, let’s start dancing” and immediately after he says “you risk to pound on Damian’s foot”. He doesn’t know Damian is “in love” with her and I would say thankfully he doesn’t know he is in love with her.

What do you think would happen if Loid’s love radar gets fixed and realises he has the slightest chance to get them married? We all know he actually loves Anya as she was his own daughter but he is still Twilight, the smartest spy of all the times. He would train her to be his wife, to seduce him in his adolescence or adulthood.

Loid is not yet the real himself, he is still Loid/Twilight, his main focus is still Operation Strix and Anya is not yet his real daughter.

It could be a narrative arc, I supposed in a very far away future, where Loid starts to think it would be nice for them to be dating.

I believe he will realise he would never sell his daughter as a wife or force her to do anything spy-related but it might be an interesting point of view as the characters and the viewers grow.

the new chapter showed how Loid has subconsciously started to think of him and Yor as a unit. At the beginning of the story Twilight was completely independent and worked alone, but this chapter showed Twilight thinking of ways to care for Anya with Yor (WE’LL need to treat her with patience and care)
