1) this ties in perfectly with @the-mushroom-faerie hc of Mandatory Meal Times bc too many scientists forget to eat and i honestly love it. elizabeth makes lots of rules to make her people safer <3 (i would love to hear your take on who's teaching the lessons. i think john and his love of surfing means he would get roped into it)

2) YES oh my god he does it so well that he can fool the majority of staff over the radio and he uses this power exclusively to fuck with rodney. he'll radio someone asking for some random thing and rodney is going to go insane if the geology department brings him one more "sampling of rocks"

3) as a diehard evan lorne lover, i love this and it is ABSOLUTELY canon to me!!!!! atlantis loves lorne and he's the only one who can keep her calm when john gets hurt or kidnapped!!!!

4) ooh you know what i can absolutely see that. i love laura and she's so sweet but there's a toughness in her and i absolutely can see this. she avoids whiskey bc she knows it makes her mean but one time off world she drinks something that is shockingly similar and everyone is shocked at how mean she can be (rodney is MASSIVELY impressed)

I love imaging how confused Laura would be if she started having thoughts about Radek after duet - all because of him getting up in Rodney's face - and gdamn those blue eyes of his and- clears throat - and then when she tries to do something about it Radek doesn't even believe her and just thinks she's messing with him

if they were real - probably less afraid and more wary. i really feel bad about how i feel about her (and it's not Ms. Jaime Ray Newman's fault at all because i think she's lovely to watch) but there's just something about Cadman that rubs me the wrong way. every rewatch of Duet and Critical Mass just further alienates any chance of me liking her character more

not technically canon - while her apparent expertise in explosives is impressive (high temperature and energetic materials technology! that sounds badass!) it just came out a little too shoehorned. the things i do like about her are mostly from fanworks i picked up from folks blessed with more skill in writing strong female characters than the showrunners

why that look - for the love of god, woman, pls tie your hair

part of a dynamic - creepy Duet writing choices aside, i can definitely see myself enjoying her character thru her interactions with Rodney. they're cut from the same cloth and they truly deserve to make each other miserable from time to time (also, i want her to be the gateway for more POV of the female population in Atlantis. show us that women's poker night, MGM!!)

actively dislike(ish) - i was never bullied in school but she reminds me far too much of the bullies one encounters in a private, all-girls Catholic educational institution :/

wasted potential - tho honestly, every wasted potential is really just free real estate to me, so fingers crossed for me finding enough brainpower in the future to analyze how best i can make this character more enjoyable

I feel like sentient!Atlantis would take care of hungover atlanteans. like Rodney was dragged into Cadman and Radeks drinking game one night and woke up with the mother of all hangovers and Lantis kept the lights dim and turned down the volume on the door chimes and sent notifs to his computer to remind him to drink something and kept dinging John's computer to bring him food and pain meds

oh my GOD oh i'm OBSESSED with this. everyone's alarms get set back an hour so rodney can sleep in and not be bugged for being late to work. whenever someone has the intention of going to Bother Him the transporter takes them to the other side of the city and won't work anymore. carson gets an alert that rodney needs advil and electrolytes

this is actually so beautiful i love this so much. she helps all her favourites during hangovers and she makes everything worse for kavanagh <3
