What does the peace ring symbolize?
Hi dear,
It's a ring we believe Louis gave to Harry about 10 years ago. He's worn it religiously for years ever since, nearly never took it off, with exceptions ofc. Until last year. He only wore it at the Denver show, and then replaced its rightful place with the bird mosaic ring. He wore it during the Today Show earlier this year. And now after Venice.
I think it's a commitment ring, obviously holds a lot of sentiment to H since he's worn it for 10 years now. So not quite a wedding ring per se, but a ring that holds similar meaning to him and them both.
There's also a theory that H gives the ring back to Louis when they're apart for long stretches of time, and Louis gives it back to him when they reunite.

To anon writing how H looked young back in 2019/early 2020 and when performing at Coachella he looked like he aged at least 10 years.
We all know what was happening in late 2020 - nov 2022 and so I’m wondering if this awful phase of his (and ours as well) life might be the reason why he aged more than usual? I still remember him looking totally exhausted and done for his last show in LA few days before bua dropped and I just think this awful stunt + him catching all projects at once (postponed tour + promo for H’sH + promo for 2 movies…eventho he didn’t put much effort into it imo, luckily for one, unfortunately for second) made marks on his face. Plus he got that sick that he had to postpone 3 shows what is also something he’s never done before.
Like he can claim how healthy lifestyle he’s living (or is it another artificial bs for fans/gp to fit his image?) but imo you can’t escape stressful lifestyle full of constant travelling, dealing with jetlags every other month, being involved into multiple projects and businesses.
Also a question, if we compare his image/closet to Ricky Martin’s image during 00’s, RM came out at age 39. Do you think if H won’t actually be atracttive for his youngest fans nor gp and his fans at his age will see through all the bs, will he be more likely able to come out because there won’t more risk of loosing money and in 10 years S*ny surely will have new young and bright golden goose who will “take care” of his youngest fans and replace him?

I think these last four or five years have been extra hectic and he's pushed himself to the limit (and beyond). He doesn’t know how to relax and not work. It's like he knows he's on borrowed time. It did seem like he planned to take a bit of a break after his tour ended, but now it seems like he hasn't had a break at all.
I don't know what's stopping H from coming out. If it's a 20 year long image clause, if it's a 5 album solo deal or if it's something else. So we don’t know when it's possible for him to come out. He won't do it without Louis i believe. If Sony has the ability to have him come out sooner i think it will take a lot to pursuade them, even if his fans now are grown up and he's in his 30s. I would hope Sony would have a new teenage bopper, a Justin Bieber or Shawn Mendes (but straight), or perhaps a new boyband (not S*mon Cow*ll made) ready to take H's place. The teenagers/early 20's of today only have female artist to project onto like Billie and Olivia. They would do well to have a male too. That would take away pressure from H (and Shawn tbh). The sooner the better imo.

When I think “artificial brain,” I envision a dystopian nightmare rife with science-fiction horrors; biology colliding with technology in terrifying, unfathomable, seemingly chaotic ways that somehow reveal an invisibly well-structured master plan behind it all. Suitably, that’s exactly what this album sounds like. This was a top 10 of 2022 for lots of folks and I am one of them!

Will get closer cooperation
When Eli Bø became dean, she and Leif Holst Jensen, dean at the Faculty of Audiovisual Media and Creative Technology (AMEK), were tasked by the college's board to investigate how the two faculties could start a closer collaboration. Bø thinks that, among other things, the TV school and the film school should stay under the same roof without cooperating, to miss out on many opportunities. She also wants to include the play school in Hamar as part of the collaboration.
There is a lot of good expertise in both faculties, both at AMEK and here at the film school, which we can exchange and jointly benefit from, she says.
It is still early in the process, but she emphasizes that they have already started working together in some areas. They have appointed a joint vice-dean for research and are now advertising seven PhD positions in artistic development work. The future of the film school
Bø has clear goals for what she would like to achieve while she is dean.
- What is important to me is to run as good a national education as possible. Being able to pursue film education at the highest artistic level, with a bachelor's, master's and PhD programme, was the motivation for coming here, she says.
What will the film school look like in 10 years?
- Some things will be as they have been. We want to continue with line teaching and to train specialists within various disciplines – we will continue to have a photo line, directing line, cutting line and so on. This requires resources, but we are, after all, The Norwegian Film School! And I expect that more lines or professional fields will eventually be developed - not least inspired by the areas that AMEK represents.
A long-term goal is to achieve closer synergy between the various levels; bachelor's, master's and PhD. As long as the various courses are located at different study sites, in Oslo and Lillehammer, she sees that it is difficult to utilize the school's resources - both expertise, infrastructure and technical facilities - in the best possible way. As a rule, it is only the national film schools around that can afford to run line education, as it requires resources.

Traveled from the network

Will take inspiration from Denmark
Several of the students at the film school come from Denmark, and Bø believes this could be due to several things. One thing that distinguishes Danish and Norwegian students is that the Danes have often attended pre-school before starting a bachelor's degree. In Denmark, there are several one-year film schools that prepare them for their studies.
Perhaps this means that they have greater confidence to apply, says Eli Bø.
Bø believes this is something we can also look at here in Norway. Several years ago, there were pre-schools in Norway, but these eventually became independent bachelor's courses, and no longer building blocks for further education.
This summer, the film school received so-called seed funding from the college in Innlandet to run a summer school in collaboration with former film school teachers Hisham Zaman and Åse Drivenes in Snowfall Cinema. The summer school was particularly aimed at applicant groups that the film school has not been good enough to reach so far.

An answer to this respectful tweet
I am a Larrie, no need to say I love them both but I am also a professional, particularly mkt & branding is my area, I have read & learned a LOT about the industry thanks to them, probably like most of us here have, I am also a grown-up, I know how many unexplainable things from the 1D days have been inherited into our days trying to make sense of current situations & because, particularly, H has been involved in so many complex situations I’ve tried to be objective about it, looking for a better understanding despite I don’t like some. It's fine because I am still here. On the other hand, this showed me the raw reality of what the industry demands to be “successful“ in it and how real issues like pressure, money, power & a large number of people relying on just one man, puts an inappropriate responsibility on him.
First, I’d like to say that there is the larries pov but there is also the “world” or the GP too, I can try to justify whatever by looking at it through the larrie glasses but the truth is he came there for the first time and he acted as he did. I love him and that’s why I don’t want others to point at this behavior as disrespectful or poor when he is having an opportunity (that many actors don’t, for instance) of a lifetime. So, it’s not a matter of what a larrie state of mind “should be” or that st*pid octopus’ morals are, it is a matter of caring about a guy whose reputation is already damaged and dragged by the choices he took, the media, his team, the industry, the stunt… far away from who I think he is.
At this time, we were at one of the worst peaks of the stunt he & his so-called “gf” had just put out there the most controversial articles, we had pap pics almost every day, wrong quotes, etc... They got there and H ignored her under a “professional veil” to quit that attitude once they got into the theatre, to go back to spread kisses once again in NY streets later…and the only chance he got to show a bit of who he really is, how despite everything he was going through he is who we know he is… he puts into display this (alow me to name it) game. Don’t forget Harry has been in the industry for more than 10 years, he knows it's folds perfectly. I am telling you, this wasn’t read into considering his stunting state at the moment or his feeling towards despicable OW, I am a Larrie & I was concerned.
When I mentioned controversies, I didn’t imply his level of freedom, but the obvious DWD promo: based on spreading garbage all over. So it would have been nice if, for once, his circle or his moves weren't related to this kind of approach seeking headlines. However, to the general question: is H capable of choosing? Yes (minding ofc the doubt before the extension and consequences of them). Does this imply easiness, comfort, being happy with what the industry demands of this man or not having to deal with complex contracts (including his & the boys 1D’s)??? No. Don’t take me wrong, I am not saying his position is any lighter than it is or it looks like, there is too much involved and is disgusting.
I get how some see this specific moment as a rebellion and give them comfort, I understand it because I was thought like that too & the loop to see through is a bit complex & doesn’t get any better, as you can tell. It helped me a lot to give it a business pov, separate it from my feelings for them or from who I think they truly are, to understand the extent of the circus they (& us consequently) deal with.
I am not looking for an answer breaking down every step under the stunt, because I know too, believe me; but take this ( if you wish) as a wider scope on how things are seen. There is a larger audience (and intention), I chose my side, but that doesn’t erase the others and I mind how he is perceived. Precisely, being a larrie let us see clearly the incoherencies of the artist out there and walking that line is risky for him first. I wish his lame team could make a better, creative and mature strategy to protect him & give us a much healthier experience.

I’m lost. Did Harry go to an after party or not? Fans said they saw him board a plane but I don’t think we have pics. Someone said they danced with him and Chris at the after party. Fans said he left right away. We also think he went straight to Milan. So what’s the truth??
Hi dear,
Harry went to an after party in Venice after the showing of DWD last night. It was a lowkey thing, and he left quickly. He was there with the cast, his team and friends - including Alessandro and his boyfriend etc who also attended the red carpet premiere.He left alone.
As far as I know, he flew back this morning (Venice time) to NY with his team for his show tomorrow. He's not been in Venice for hours, it's already midnight there.
Jeremy O Harris was at the party, and he danced with H and Chris Pine for a bit (link).

It’s go time!
This morning when I told Jonnie, “it’s go time!”, she responded, “I thought it was tomorrow!” Yeah, we leave tomorrow, but today is the day everything has to be done: the preparing, the packing, the cleaning, and finally —- starting this blog. It’s not midnight and there are only around 10 things on the list to do. Pretty good.
In 2020, Rob and I biked the Florida Keys. In 2022, we biked the C&O Canal Tow Path. This year, we are heading to New York to bike the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany.
We have done lots of training on the greenways around Raleigh and Winston-Salem. It was hot this summer - not Texas hot - but hot enough to get us going earlier in the morning than we wanted. I have been eyeing and envying the cooler temperatures of NY. I hope they hold!
We got the idea for this Erie Canal trip from some of the good people we met last year on the C&O Canal adventure. We were about to scrap the idea for this year when retirement gave us the freedom to make it possible.

What's your favourite place to get pizza?
Oooh, definitely Lou Malnati's... they make the best Chicago deep dish pizza on the planet. But sadly I don't live near any of their restaurants. My favorite pizza place near here is the NY-style pizzeria on the town square.
Did you ever get detention in school? What for?
Nope. I was too quiet as a kid to ever get into that much trouble haha.
Do you believe in horoscopes?
Not one bit.
When you were growing up, did you share a bedroom with anyone?
No.
Have you ever worn a wig?
Just once, when I was 8 years old and I dressed up as a little old lady for Halloween. We had a school Halloween costume parade that everyone's families came to, and I remember seeing someone's elderly grandmother there and at the time I felt really bad and embarrassed that I was dressed up in a costume to look like her hahaha. But looking back from an adult perspective I'm sure she thought it was funny/cute.
Do you have any trips coming up?
Maybe to Delaware next month or in January.
If you could take lessons/classes for anything, what would you do?
Nature photography. We did a nature photography unit in my film photo II class in high school and I loved it. I'd definitely want to do a whole class in that, just with digital photography this time.
When was the last time you had an eye exam?
Back in March or April.
Have you ever eaten Indonesian food?
Just once. One of the days that my husband and I were exploring London, we stumbled upon an Indonesian festival at the park by Tower Bridge, and decided to try some of the food there.
Do you have any spaces to park a car at your home?
Yes, we have a driveway and a 2-car garage.
What accents do you really struggle to understand?
I'm terrible at understanding heavy French accents.
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?
Yep.
What's the first thing you see when you look to your left?
The curtains and the sliding glass door out to the patio and back yard.

Only occasionally.

Nope.

Probably not. My husband is going to be on-call for work so we'll probably just chill at home like we usually do when he has an on-call schedule.

Yep, I had a matcha latte this morning.

Yes but they're all from my college days, 10+ years ago.

I don't remember. I haven't worn earrings in... I don't even remember how long.

I'm waiting for the towels in the washer to be done.
Do you know how to drive a stick-shift/manual transmission car?
Yep, I used to own a manual Ford Fiesta. Not for very long, though. I ended up really hating how tiny and cheap it was.
What sort of music have you been listening to lately?
Classical.

I think it was when I was in the ER last May?

Yep.
What scent is your body wash or soap?
Sort of a nutty vanilla scent, but it's pretty faint. It's a body wash for sensitive skin so it's not heavily fragranced.
