The Cabin In The Woods (2012)
Der Film ist Drew Goddards und Joss Whedons Antwort auf typische Horrorfilme, in denen sich eine Gruppe an Studenten in einem abgelegenen Wald in einer kleinen Ferienhütte aufhalten und nacheinander abgeschlachtet werden.
Der Horrorfilm folgt zwar demselben Konzept, bekommt jedoch durch den Einblick hinter die Kulissen - nämlich den Forschern, die jedes Jahr verschiedene Monster und Mörder auf die Gäste der Hütte hetzen - eine besondere Note.

📽️ The Happening (2008)
I was excited to watch this movie because it seemed like such a cool premise, and there were some actors that are usually pretty good in what I’ve seen of them. I was very unpleasantly surprised at how horrible the acting was in this. The dialogue was very stilted, and the delivery was even worse. Also, the ending was somewhat of a letdown. I’m not a huge fan of the open-ended stuff. Despite all of that, I still watched it to the end because the story was interesting enough for me to want to know what was going to happen. That has to count for something.
Sex/nudity: 0/10
Language: 1/10 (not much)
Violence: 6/10 (tons of suicides both on and off screen)
Overall rating: 6/10
