((mods, did you forget about this blog? - ¡not a letter!))
I did not! I see the asks everyday I check my main gbfsjhg general answer: we started to focus on other fandoms Me: Homestuck + personal OCs Will: QSMP + Sonic
Also! Doing full art/SPECIFIC art styles to respond was killing both of us- If you guys are cool with simpler styles then we can ABSOLUTELY answer everything n clean this inbox out :sparkles: just for example for me:
Tumblr media
So, you guys cool with simpler style for some good ol welcome home content :3 ? Love u welcome home losers/pos Sincerely, Admin Jamie :]

I would strongly advise against doing this ask blog. Welcome Home isn’t something made by a corporation that was worked on by hundreds of people. It’s someone’s passion project, and the characters are their personal OC’s they’ve had for years. So it’s pretty cruel to make a blog essentially role playing as someone else’s OC’s without permission *especially* with the amount of stress Clown is under because of his project’s sudden fame. ----------NOT APART OF SUBMISSION ABOVE---------- Hello! its me Jamie one of the owners of the blog. I wanted to give our perspective on this? And then leave it up to the community as a whole to decide. We know that Welcome Home isn't a project made by some corporation or high end dev, its made by Clown (with the help of at least 1 other as far as I'm aware) But I don't fully grasp what's "cruel" about making a blog roleplaying someone's characters? I mean this lightheartedly, not in a combative sense. This could genuinely be me missing something? :"D (I'm talking from the perspective of someone whose worked on passion projects and original works myself, I say this just to say I understand the love and passion for your own characters and what not, and the stress of holding onto them.) But people have made *plenty* of comics across tiktok or tumblr, some a few panels, some pages long of fan work writing as the characters. Us making a blog roleplaying as the characters is the same except were doing it open ended with the community? But those aren't seen as bad? Hence why I feel this blog isn't doing something disrespectful? We have no bad intentions, we're just fans of Clown's work of course but that's why we choose to respond to this. To open the discussion to the community. Because if me and the other admin are genuinely misunderstanding something that's going to harm Clown we would stop of course. So to anyone who stumbles upon this I would genuinely appreciate an ask or longer submission or comment, something giving your thoughts to aid the discussion on rather or not ask blogs are allowed. (Also thought I should mention, this isn't the only Welcome Home ask blog to exist! I made sure to see what others existed before making this one to make sure they'd differ.) Additional Edit: I also wouldn't necessarily call what were doing roleplaying? I mean I personally wouldn't at least. The other admin nor I are trying to play as the character, were just writing what we think they would say like you would in a fanwork or comic. Except this time its interacting with the community so, maybe! Not to mention the fanfiction people have written like x readers n' stuff, written for the character to interact with the reader/viewer. Again i'm not entirely sure! Open discussion time. :]
