12th Anniversary!! (it was on Saturday)
Tumblr media
So, if you ever read this series... Original version (because you either used MTL on it, or can speak/understand BR-PT)
Let's talk about some changes!!
The names: Some names were originally in JP and taken ideas from ex-friends and my original co-writer. The new version, i had a help from a beta reader/editor to rename most of the other world's counterparts of the kids. EXCEPT Daisuke's which kept being "Lance", but his nickname became "Dai". Ah, and Ken's, of course.
I'll list every name from the original version and its change out of curiosity:
Helios (Taichi's counterpart) → Saigo
Amis Lupe (Yamato's) → Okami
Sienna (Sora's) → Yaku
Fiorella (Mimi's) → Ai
Diomedes (Koushiro's) → Nesshin
Jason (Jou's) → Omoni
Lance "Dai" Dusktella (Daisuke's) → Lance "Kiseki" Kuroiboshi (i wrote it wrongly in the fic)
Flannery (Miyako's) → Miya/MiyaShurimon (not-so-creative)
Zuzen (Iori's) → IoriArmadimon (again, not creative)
Boniface (Takeru's) → Unmei
Lia → Yami
※ Warlock was the only name i kept unchanged. Just... changed his surname for its actual reference. "Who" is a pun on Ken's first name, which has a similar pronunciation of "Quem" in Portuguese. Hence the joke on Ken's counterpart name.
I don't remember much of the ideas of each name (because i can't access to those ol' convos alas), except for Lia's being the opposite of Hikari (lol) and Lance's nickname being a reference to the Digimental/Crest of Miracles (which was a key point in it)
○ ○ ○
OCs made specifically for this saga: When i was writing it, i not only mixed things i liked (Vocaloid songs, BRS and a Sonic fancomic) -- i also had the help of a co-writer friend to adapt other songs from the Daughter of Evil's story. Keep in mind the new version tried to be a bit divergent from it, while the original was... uh... me and frienddo creating an AU based on it. Y'know, like how we all do.
Such characters were one mine and one of said co-writer. Co-writer's OC was playing Haku's role & song, but with a different finale?
Meanwhile my OC... was playing a very original role! She was tied to Lance's story as some friend he made and later has befriended Lia.
Since I had lost contact with my co-writer to ask for permission for the use of their OC, I decided to cut them out. Said OCs were the counterparts of our actual OCs who would be later introduced in Hinode saga. Again, i cut them & ChibiBunnymon off in the Hinode drabbles version.
○ ○ ○
Some exclusive character changes: The original fic, the very first one, had a white Wormmon and a Puroromon in the cast of characters following Daisuke & V-mon through the labyrinth. They were not related fo Flannery and Dragon Who at all. They were legit digimon kidnapped and forced to recover the "Magic object" at the end of the labyrinth.
○ ○ ○
Some details changed: Originally Warlock was married to Lia, and they weren't going well since Lance's death. Also, since i wrote all of those ages before Kizuna (2010, what a coincidence!), i wasn't using the epilogue versions of the characters and yes... Their 02 (Kids) counterparts. Which is weird who in the world would let two kids marry each other! Well, this was because i was writing this to be more Daisuke seeing his friends in those peeps -- Kinda like what happens to Sonic in the games "Secret Rings" and "Black Knight". Actually SatBK was very very much the core of my inspiration for it 😅 The new version, also written before Kizuna (2013!!), was trying to go by the idea of older versions of them. Also Lia and Lance were no longer twins and she became younger than Lance & Warlock.
Also, at the end of the original arc 3, Daisuke finally meets Mimi's counterpart as the one who offers him a chance of choosing who he would like to be -- himself, or go back to the other world as Lance. This part was totally retconned in the new one as Daisuke does not die in the final battle and it is revealed Fiorella has reborn in the same world as Daisuke's, as Mimi. Said part was based on the mentioned Sonic fancomic, which was one of my favorite scenes in a chapter. In which Sonic gets two options to choose, and he makes his choice from there.
Said scene would later get a replay as some shocking reveal in Hinode, that would be the fact Daisuke-Lance actually chose to return to the other world, and then he would die again by fighting the evil which was consuming his world. This would then send him to another world as Daisuke, and then be involved with the said villains all again to put all the Chosen Children in this fight to save the worlds... Then, resulting in the birth of Dai-Lightnimon Royal Mode. Of course i never finished the OG Hinode and this is all scrapped at this point.
Those are just a few things i remember haha, hope you enjoyed the post!!

The Masked Singer: S11 E7 (Group A Finals/Queen Night)
Tonight, one celebrity will be crowned the Group A winner and go on to the quarterfinals, the other two will be unmasked.
I’m watching on a delay tonight, but have done my best to avoid spoilers. As always, I post before seeing unmaskings, so don’t take my guesses as spoilers.
Ugly Sweater 🧶: Says he inspired everyone from Snoop Dogg to Nirvana. Worked with Tupac. We see a sweater with the 🙏 emoji as well as an ingot of gold labeled “24K”. We see a crying 😭 emoji. His voice still isn’t immediately recognizable to me, but given how many people he’s been an influence on, he’s probably an older singer. I think the internet consensus has been Charlie Wilson from the Gap Band, so I’m tempted to go with that. The bonus clue: Bicycles labeled “Nick”. He says he gave Nick “dating advice”, and considering Nick has about a dozen kids, Nick didn’t forget, either! 😂 Robin seems to think this is Charlie Wilson, too. (The 24K clue seems to confirm it, too, as Charlie was a guest performer on Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic tour.)
Starfish ⭐️: She replaced someone who got fired from a project. A white rabbit toy. Could be a reference to either Joey Fatone (Rabbit in Season 1) or something related to “Alice in Wonderland” or the Jefferson Airplane song “White Rabbit”. The bonus clue: a magician pulling a card reading “Jenny” from Nick’s ear. She says she offered Jenny tickets to her show. So she might be a standup comedian? Ken seems to be going with the internet consensus, Kate Flannery from The Office. I’m not incredibly familiar with that show. I’m stumped.
Goldfish 🐠: The internet consensus is Vanessa Hudgens, I’ve been thinking it’s Carly Rae Jepsen. A map of an island with a question mark on it. She lost her “number 1 supporter”. A witch’s hat. A poster with a rose on it. The bonus clue: “Galileo” bringing a scroll reading “Ken”. She says she’s worked with Ken. It didn’t sound like Hilary Duff. Rita seems to think it’s Vanessa Hudgens, as she lost her father just before she was due to perform in a live TV adaptation of Grease. I think Goldfish ends up winning Group A, so I don’t see her being unmasked just yet.

Some of my favourite roles of Tanya Allen
Tumblr media
1. Amy Barrett - The Outer Limits
EP - Patient Zero
This is an episode where in 44 minutes they make you feel like you have known the character Amy for a lifeitme. It’s an episode where you can feel sympathy for both characters. The conflict in the episode is a hard/personal once, especially since both Tanya Allen and Michael Rooker play their parts in this episode amazing! The camera angles and music is also very good, there are moments where you are sitting on the edge of your seat hoping what is going to happen next.
2. Percy Montana - Starhunter/Starhunter 2300 & Starhunter Redux
Tumblr media
One of my rolemodels since I was a little girl, and one of the most badass women in Sci-Fi history. Percy is the 18 year old niece of bounty hunter Danté Montana, since their home planet was taken over and people were murderd by the raiders. Danté took 8 year old Percy under his wing and raised her as his own. She is the mechanic of the tulip and without her the tulip and it’s crew would be lost. Percy is a sassy but badass 18 year old who is a perfect mix of serious and loveable and funny.
3. Anna - Silent Hill
Tumblr media
This is a character which we only see 10 minutes into the movie, who then dies in a gruesome way. Anna is one of the Victims of Alessa her curse. She is a young woman who seems to have the mind of a child, who has to survive in the darkness of SIlent Hill. Tanya plays this character so lovely and you feel actually bad for her since she is one of the only victims of Alessa who had nothing to do with her.
4. Lisa - The Outer Limits
Ep Fear Itself
Tumblr media
Before Tanya went on an played Amy Barrett she played the young and ambtious Lisa in an earlier episode of the Outer Limits. Her character Lisa is a lovely young woman who faced struggles with depression and anxiety. Lisa tries to see the good in people and she has a compsionate heart to those who she cares about.
Her role in the episode is minimal but it’s also very sweet and simple.
5. Audrey - The Newsroom (1996/1997 Season 1)
Tumblr media
Audrey the Intern, this is the role that gave Tanya a Gemini award. She played the sassy and sweet intern Audrey alongside Ken Finkleman, Peter Keleghan, Karen Himes.
6. Annie Calgrove - Firestorm last stand at Yellowstone
Tumblr media
A small made for tv/dvd movie from 2009. Tanya plays Yellowstone park ranger Annie Calgrove, who is willing to give up her life for the park and it’s people. She has her heart on the right place and is not afraid to let people know that they are talking bullshit.  During the firestorm that almost burn downs the park, Annie stays behind to make sure the firefighters make it out alive, even if she dies in the process.
7 Tanya - Wish You Were Dead
Tumblr media
A small role in a dark humor film. She plays the daughter of a scammer, however she participates in the scams as well. It’s a small and funny movie. She follows her mother blindly and they both try to take out a insurance agents for this life insurance.
8. Sharon - Lone Hero
Tumblr media
The girlfriend of the main Hero played by Sean Patrick Flannery, she works at a Wild West Village and wants to be an aspiring actress. At one point Sharon gets taken by a biker gang, however she is no damsel in distress and takes out some action.

I wrote this ode to the beat poets for escapril
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are these the Kerouac years?
The Ginsberg years?
The down-and-out Orwell years?
Scrapping dirty change from frayed pockets
Begging for paint like Van Gogh.
Are these the years in which the
Dues are paid?
Pains endured at the promise
Of greatness of a pot of gold
At the end of recognition rainbow?
Is the lonely longing languish
The price of the art made,
To magnify the majesty of the very life?
The pain of longing for love
The creeping crawl of pining isolation,
The have nothing, am nothing, do nothing
While the world demands more
Empty your pockets on the counter of progress
Or did the 60's die when Thatcher proclaimed
We the society of individuals?
I look to a clipper lighter
Printed with Ken Kasey bus,
Printed with the words 'Free' 'Soul' 'Adventures'
An electric blue kool-aid psychedelic roadtrip
Now stationary
Unable to go any further.
Printed on lighters
Used to light cigarettes
Rolled from the remnants
Of old cigarette butts
That twice tinged tang
Tastes like poverty.
Smoked in solitary shame
Did the Sunflower sutra died with Ginsberg?
Was it pressed to his chest and
Lowered into a
Coffin?
The rest of us left with a thread bare
Promises of success
Between four walls
Weaving not nearly enough rope
To make ends meet.
Did the Bowery burn down
Like the Globe?
Only no one bothered to rebuild it
Did CBGBs foreclose
Become rebranded
In a Capitalist coupe?
To adorn t-shirts priced more
Than minimum wage allows.
Did we lose the squatters secrets
When the Gay Community Centre closed down?
What if George Orwell had been
In that kitchen
Forever
Burning toast
And being yelled at in French.
Playing the lottery
To buy a ticket out.
Maybe we're too dramatic for
The 'real jobs'
Maybe that's just me.
Maybe we weren't promised
Anything if we just worked hard enough.
Maybe we just got lost.
Maybe we're
The only ones who feel this way.
Maybe we're
Only
Lonely.

Heidi was my favorite part of the show. There were some very funny parts to the show, especially if you are a theater buff. There are about 10 mins of total blackouts, which is mostly a chunk in within the first 13 minutes. Depsite that, a nice capture and the audience was very into the show. There is washout, as it’s a full stage shot, but it is very very watchable. About 8 minutes is missing right before the Act 1 finale. Cinematic Conversations- #flanneryfilm from VideoFest on Vimeo.
Cinematic Conversation between DVF Artistic Director Bart Weiss and #FlanneryFilm director Elizabeth Coffman, co-director Mark Bosco, and key collaborator, Ted Hardin on this hour-long zoom experience. Winner of the first-ever Library of Congress / Lavine/Ken Burns Prize for Film, Flannery is the lyrical, intimate exploration of the life and work of author Flannery O’Connor, whose distinctive Southern Gothic style influenced a generation of artists and activists. With her family home at Andalusia (the Georgia farm where she grew up and later wrote her best known work) as a backdrop, a picture of the woman behind her sharply aware, starkly redemptive style comes into focus. Including conversations with those who knew her and those inspired by her (Mary Karr, Tommy Lee Jones, Lucinda Williams, Hilton Als and more), Flannery employs never-before-seen archival footage, newly discovered personal letters and her own published words (read by Mary Steenburgen) alongside original animations and music to examine the life and legacy of an American literary icon

GYPSY IN MY SOUL
January 10, 1976 on CBS
Tumblr media
Directed and Choreographed by Tony Charmoli
Produced by William O. Harbach, Fred Ebb, Cy Coleman
Written by Fred Ebb
Music by Cy Coleman
Shirley MacLaine was born Shirley MacLean Beaty in Richmond, Virginia, in 1934. Her younger brother is the actor Warren Beatty. Shirley was stand-by for Carol Haney in Broadway's The Pajama Game when she was spotted by a Hollywood producer who signed her to a contract at Paramount. Her first film was Alfred Hitchcock's The Trouble With Harry (1950). In 1960, she finally got to do a screen musical with Can-Can, ironically, she was supposed to do the Broadway stage version before being wooed away by Hollywood. Equally at home in drama, comedy, or musical, MacLaine was nominated for five Oscars before winning in 1983 for Terms of Endearment. She won an Emmy Award in 1976 for this special.
Tumblr media
Lucille Ball was born on August 6, 1911 in Jamestown, New York. She began her screen career in 1933 and was known in Hollywood as ‘Queen of the B’s’ due to her many appearances in ‘B’ movies. With Richard Denning, she starred in a radio program titled “My Favorite Husband” which eventually led to the creation of “I Love Lucy,” a television situation comedy in which she co-starred with her real-life husband, Latin bandleader Desi Arnaz. The program was phenomenally successful, allowing the couple to purchase what was once RKO Studios, re-naming it Desilu. When the show ended in 1960 (in an hour-long format known as “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour”) so did Lucy and Desi’s marriage. In 1962, hoping to keep Desilu financially solvent, Lucy returned to the sitcom format with “The Lucy Show,” which lasted six seasons. She followed that with a similar sitcom “Here’s Lucy” co-starring with her real-life children, Lucie and Desi Jr., as well as Gale Gordon, who had joined the cast of “The Lucy Show” during season two. Before her death in 1989, Lucy made one more attempt at a sitcom with “Life With Lucy,” also with Gordon, which was not a success and was canceled after just 13 episodes.
The Gypsies:
Trudy Carson made her Broadway debut as a gypsy in 1964 with (ironically) a show titled I Had a Ball. Five more shows followed, including the original Follies , and Irene in 1973.  She was also a Rockette. On TV she was one of the June Taylor Dancers and danced on film in All That Jazz (1979). She was married to comic Soupy Sales.
Denise Pence also danced in the original Follies (1972) as well as working with Bob Fosse in Pippin. Pence was married to fellow gypsy Steven Boockvor and the two served as Michael Bennett's models for the characters of Christine and Al in the long-running musical A Chorus Line, a tribute to gypsy dancers. She danced on film in Jesus Christ Superstar (1973) also with Boockvor. She left dancing for daytime drama and was Emmy nominated for “The Guiding Light.” He was nominated for Broadway's 1978 Tony Award as Featured Actor in the musical Working. In addition, he was also seen in or choreographed 15 other Broadway musicals, including A Chorus Line and Follies.
Jonathan Wynne was also in the film version of Superstar, as well as in Finian's Ranbow on screen. On Broadway, he was in the ensemble of the 1975 revival of Hello, Dolly starring Pearl Bailey.
Gary Flannery was one of Shirley's gypsies on Broadway in 1976 as well as her return engagement in 1984.  He was also a replacement in the Broadway show Dancin'. He was a principal dancer in the film All That Jazz.
Jane Summerhays started dancing on Broadway in the original A Chorus Line and was nominated for a Tony Award for her role as Lady Jacqueline in 1986's Me and My Girl. She was able to move into comedy acting and has been seen in a variety of roles on Broadway, including plays by Alan Ayckbourn and Ken Ludwig.
Wyetta Turner was also on screen in Superstar, but was seen on Broadway in the original company of Hello, Dolly and the revival of The Pajama Game.
Adam Grammis first danced on Broadway in 1971 in Wild and Wonderful, which closed on opening night. He was a replacement in the original A Chorus Line and also was one of Shirley's gypsies in her 1976 Broadway outing. He died in 1985, an early victim of the AIDS pandemic.
The child dancer and three senior citizen dancers are uncredited.
GYPSY Backstory
Tumblr media
Cy Coleman wrote the lyrics for Lucille Ball's Broadway musical, Wildcat (1960). He also wrote the music for Sweet Charity, which was filmed starring Shirley MacLaine in the title role. MacLaine's theme song is “If They Could See Me Now” from Sweet Charity while Lucy's theme song (outside of the “I Love Lucy Theme”) is Coleman's “Hey, Look Me Over” from Wildcat.
Tumblr media
On November 1, 1959, Lucille Ball and Shirley did a Las Vegas benefit for the victims of Japan's Typhoon Vera. The show, however, was not televised. Lucy's frequent co-star Bob Hope was also part of the benefit. There were nearly 3,200 victims of the Typhoon.
Tumblr media
On April 19, 1976, Shirley MacLaine appeared at the Palace Theatre on Broadway in a similar show written by Fred Abb and Cy Coleman and directed by Tony Charmoli. This incarnation was simply titled Shirley MacLaine or Shirley MacLaine and Shirley's Gypsies, who were Candy Brown, Gary Flannery, Adam Grammis, Joann Lehman, and Larry Vickers.  An original cast album from the show was titled Shirley MacLaine Live at the Palace. The song “The Gypsy in My Soul” was included on all three.  This was her first time back on the Broadway stage since The Pajama Game more than twenty years earlier. The show was also a big hit in London. Needless to say, Lucille Ball was not involved with any of these other versions of the show.
Tumblr media
The day before the show opened in New York City, the New York Times published this feature article and interview, conducted while the show was in Las Vegas and filmed for broadcast.
LAS VEGAS - On a sign outside Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas a larger‐than‐life Shirley MacLaine is shown tossing off a preternaturally high kick. Words don't matter in this town. Signs do. There is a neon hieroglyph for almost everything, and this sign means Shirley MacLaine is back on stage and kicking up her heels. Her show, “A Gypsy In My Soul,” which sports Miss MacLaine and a back‐up troupe of five dancers (aka Shirley's Gypsies) opened to raves at London's Palladium. The British critics hailed her as a performer on a par with Judy Garland, Danny Kaye and Ethel Merman to more raves in 12 cities throughout Europe and Latin America, and is now en route to New York City, where it opens tomorrow night at the Palace Theater.
On a recent afternoon, Miss MacLaine sat cross‐legged at the living room coffee table or her borrowed Las Vegas house, eating breakfast and talking about the origins of her show. “After working in the McGovern campaign,” she recalled. “I took a trip across America by car. I'd seen a lot of other countries, but that was the first time I'd really seen America. What I saw was a lot of disillusionment, mistrust and despair. I got back to Los Angeles, looked at myself in the mirror and saw the same thing. I'd gained 30 pounds, lot my hair go, and looked awful.” Her post‐election depression deepened. Then, she said, “I decided to do something about it. The first thing did was to go China. The second thing was to put together show.
In 2015, an online source talked to MacLaine about working with Lucille Ball:
“Talk about a woman with balls! She loved her legs and she said, ‘I want to come on your show and I want to do something in a leotard!’ I thought, ‘That’s good,’ because I like my legs too. I thought it was so wonderfully honest of her to put it in her contract like that. She was a stickler for being liked. Once you made an arrangement with her it didn’t shift. Always told you the truth.”
Tumblr media
The show was taped over two days. The first day with an audience for Shirley's solos and numbers with the gypsies, and without an audience for Lucy's portions of the show. Ball loved live audiences when doing comedy, but after breaking her leg she was scared to death to dance live in front of an audience.
In his book I Loved Lucy, author Lee Tannen remembers attending the taping of “Gypsy in My Soul”.
Tumblr media
The program’s main sponsor was Bell Telephone.
Tumblr media
Filmed rehearsal sequences the begin the special were done by The Maysles Brothers, who also created the documentary Gray Gardens in 1975.
Tumblr media
Lucille Ball had finished doing “Here’s Lucy” in 1974.  This special was aired  between two of her own specials: “Three For Two” (December 3, 1975) and “What Now Catherine Curtis?” (March 30, 1976).
Some sources list the air date of the special as January 20, 1976 (a Tuesday), and one or two list it as Wednesday, January 21st.
Tumblr media
The word 'gypsy' in the title refers to Broadway dancers who generally went from one show to the next, much like the Romany gypsies of central Europe, who were traditionally transient people. The most famous use of the word 'gypsy' in show business was by stripper Rose Lee Hovic (above), who took the stage name Gypsy Rose Lee. Her autobiography was turned into the stage and screen musical Gypsy. Recently, negative connotations of the word 'gypsy' have caused it to become more selectively used in the entertainment industry.
GYPSY IN MY SOUL
Tumblr media
The show opens on location in an actual rehearsal room where Shirley, Lucy, and 'the gypsies' are rehearsing. During a five minute break, Shirley introduces the show talking directly to the camera. After a brief title sequence, the action returns to the rehearsal room where Lucy drags Shirley onto the floor by her hair (literally).
Tumblr media
As Shirley makes her entrance into the song, the rehearsal morphs into the actual show, on a soundstage with orchestra, lighting, and costumes. With the singers and dancers, she performs the title song “Gypsy in My Soul.”
Next Shirley performs “It's Not Where You Start (It's Where You Finish)” from the Cy Coleman Broadway musical Seesaw (1973) with lyrics by Dorothy Fields. During the number, each of the gypsies take their turn in the spotlight (literally).
Shirley and gypsies Steve and Adam dance “The Rudolf Friml Hustle,” a mash-up of the popular dance the Hustle and the 1937 song “The Donkey Serenade” from the 1912 operetta The Firefly, filmed in 1937.  They get a standing ovation from the studio audience.
Tumblr media
After a commercial break, Shirley and the gypsies sing “Lulu's Back in Town” (appropriately adapted to “Lucy's Back in Town”) which heralds the entrance of Lucille Ball. The song was originally written by Harry Warren and Al Dubin in 1935. In a planned comedy bit, Lucy acts surprised to see Shirley in line with the gypsies.
Lucy tells the now familiar story of how she survived as a chorine by visiting coffee shops, waiting until a patron left, then slipping into their seat to use their tip to order coffee. If they left a half-eaten doughnut it was a bonus.
Tumblr media
Shirley: “How many chorus jobs were you fired from?” Lucy: “Every one of them!”
Lucy and Shirley sing Cy Coleman's “Bouncing Back for More,” a song with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh written for Lucy to sing in 1960's Wildcat, but never used. It was later inserted into the 1976 musical Hellzapoppin but show closed out of town in Baltimore.
Shirley and the gypsies do a fast-paced dance to “Bring Back Those Good Old Days” but Lucy says that Shirley is a star, and shouldn't be working so hard. Lucy demonstrates the same routine doing the minimum: a few shoulder shrugs and hip gyrations. Shirley begs her to put a bit more into it.  With Shirley leading, the two do a slightly more physical routine, ending with high kicks, which the audience naturally greets with applause.
The second half hour of the show starts with MacLaine and the gypsies performing “Every Little Movement (Has a Meaning All Its Own)” written by Otto Harbach and Ken Hoschna for the 1910 operetta Madame Sherry.

Alone in a spotlight, Shirley dedicates the torch song “She's a Star” to all those who didn't make it in show business. This is a translation of the 1973 song “La Chanteuse a Vingt Ans” Serge Lama. The English version was arranged by Cy Coleman.

As a testament to the history of the gypsy dancer, Shirley brings on a little girl doing a tap routine while also hitting a hotel bell with her foot!

On the other end of the spectrum, next onstage is a trio of senior citizens who each take their turn doing a specialty dance. Shirley then reveals that everyone in the studio audience is a dancer. Their admission ticket was their AFTRA (American Federation of Radio and Television Artists) card!  Shirley choreographs the entire audience from their seats, row by row, and then finally doing all three steps together to the music of “Shall We Dance” from The King and I.

Shirley brings the entire audience on stage, and thanks them for all they've sacrificed to make performers like her look good.  She then drags (literally) Lucy on stage and they all end with high kicks to “It's Not Where You Start (It's Where You Finish.”

How Football Can Take A Stand On Violence Against Women; Six Nations Begins, Lampard Returns by The Second Captains Podcast .... Earlier this week on the World Service, we spoke to Richie Sadlier about Mason Greenwood's initial arrest on suspicion of rape and assault, the massive outcry following Raith Rovers' signing of David Goodwillie, who was found by a civil court to have raped a woman in 2017, and more generally about how football - and society in general - can better deal with issues around physical and sexual violence towards women. We also previewed the Six Nations which gets underway this weekend with two men who know a thing or two about it in Jerry Flannery and Shane Horgan, and Ken welcomed back his old friend Frank Lampard to Premier League management.
