I imagine that before Nosferatu sent his own Son to Summer Camp, being a Single Parent that you raised only one single child might've been incredibly exhausted for him. Which is why Slappy is always there for his Master, especially when you have a Butler as your Child's Nanny.

Sandy sent her past self to Kamp Koral to destroy the secret formula so it could be safely rediscovered in the future and preserve the timeline, but the episode that introduces Gary reveals that the show takes place a year after the summer shown in Sponge On The Run, so was this a plan in the making for two years? Well, SpongeBob encouraged Sandy to follow her dream to become a scientist when they first met, and maybe Sandy wanted to return the favor by inventing the hydro-dynamic spatula that helped him achieve his dream to become a fry cook since we never actually see SpongeBob find it onscreen in the pilot, which possibly even could've been how Sandy's past and future selves found out they needed to prevent the formula from being created when it wasn't supposed to in the first place.

my interpretation of spongebob "encouraging" sandy to follow her dream of becoming a scientist is... this scene was specifically engineered by the sandys. it's manufactured to facilitate the new timeline.

you can either take this to mean it isn't sincere and their relationship is based on a lie in this timeline (i don't, for the record) OR. you can take this as A) a testament to how much sandy cares about spongebob that she wants to preserve the strength of her friendship with spongebob even under new circumstances and/or B) an attempt to recapture the way spongebob made sandy feel at home and appreciated in bikini bottom in the original timeline, under new circumstances

we are shown in kamp koral that the young sandy is not entirely sincere with her cabinmates, hiding a lot from them - such as the fact she is actively making adjustments to the timeline under the guidance of her older self. since she's only at the camp because of her future self, who she already knows to be a scientist, the young sandy doesn't actually need that encouragement because she already knows she'll be a scientist. but both sandy's knew they needed an organic push to form a strong bond between young spongebob and sandy - so since sandy is said to have felt out of place even at home in texas in the spongebob musical, they play that up for the young spongebob. it's not completely a lie, she did feel like it as an unrealistic goal that would put her at odds with her peers... but its not something that actually bothers her by the time she meets spongebob in this timeline, because of her older self.

as for the formula not meant to be created yet... i think that's a subjective opinion on sandy's part. i think referring to her intervention as "preserving the timeline" is also subjective - it's based entirely on what she thinks is right, based entirely on how she thinks the timeline should go even if it isn't something she ever experienced. it may be based on her findings while studying other dimensions and alternate timelines, time travel has come up enough that she could have studied its effects. but how can you statistically prove that one timeline, one dimension, one universe is the ONE TRUE TIMELINE? logistically, it doesn't make sense.

she wasn't present for friend or foe but she's friends with both plankton AND krabs so reasonably would have found out about their falling out and, while experimenting with multiversal travel discovers variations of the timeline where they don't fall out over the formula as kids (friend or foe: trash bash) or that the formula is a family recipe passed down for generations (dunces and dragons) or that the two simply chose a different pursuit than the krabby patty (bikini bottom 2's cookie bucket) and decided that it seems like the formula being created when the two were children was a chronological anomaly and intervened. but is her perspective a universal truth? i don't think so.

(shrugs) sandy inventing the hydro-dynamic spatula could still tie into this but i don't know.

Since its debut in 1999, this unique series has captivated millions of viewers, generating an impressive total of 345 episodes over the years. The creative genius behind this phenomenon is the remembered Stephen Hillenburg, who conceived the charismatic character. Recently, Nickelodeon announced the renewal of the animated comedy for a fifteenth season, which will consist of 26 episodes. This news precedes the imminent premiere of the new episodes scheduled for the month of November. SpongeBob SquarePants tells the life of a sponge who resides in Bikini Bottom, living in a pineapple with his pet snail. His close circle includes beloved characters like Patrick and Squidward. The show's main voice cast consists of Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), and Rodger Bumpass (Squidward).

(I know that this is mainly a Hercules-themed blog but is it alright if I can show you something that I notice a striking similarity between the Villains in One of the SB movies, "Sponge On The Run" (which was the advertisement to Kamp Koral) and in Disney's Adaptation of Hercules?)

We all know that in Disney's take on the Mythological Stories of Heracles, the portrayal that we see in Hades is a Cynical and Sarcastic (something like an Evil Salesman) while in the Third SB Film, "Sponge On The Run", the portrayal of Hades' Brother (Poseidon) is often Cocky and Flamboyant.

While we do see different portrayals of the Brothers of Zeus throughout media, you may notice that a similarity between Disney! Hades and Nickelodeon! Poseidon is that both are Mischievous Gods (inaccurate to the OG Hades) who desire on what they want, it's the Heroes who must face their evil (well, technically Herc did finally defeated his own Uncle after rescuing Meg's Soul and even stopping the Titans while SpongeBob and Patrick did rescue Gary from Poseidon, their own Friends did help along with only Poseidon redeems himself in the end after when SpongeBob became his Friend).

However, the Actual One thing that we may notice is that the said versions of the Two Brothers are not seen with their Wives. We definitely know that in Greco-Roman Lore, the Big Three did had their own Consorts. And if you recognize very closely, it could mean that Persephone and Salacia are missing in their own respective films while their own Husbands are seen.

In which, it would've have meant something based on said lore that Hades would've had Persephone (ignoring the House of Mouse and Descendants categories) and that Poseidon would've had Salacia (based on the idea where Neptune and Poseidon swapped their own Spouses like how King Neptune is canonically married to Queen Amphitrite in the Show).

I now this may sound very deep and interesting in the context of how creative these Pantheons can be as far as Ancient Stories go (I am unsure if you have at least seen SOTR but I would like to know your own special thoughts on it) but just picture of these Two Guys (Or at least---Brothers).

With their own Wives Together.

And before you ask, Yes, that Mermaid Statue on the Right is meant to be a Interpretation of Salacia if she was in the Third SB Movie (next to a supposed Interpretation of a Disney Persephone on the Left).

The reason as to why that I have decided to share this little Theory with you is because I was just wondering on what is your thoughts/connection to this category of the "Brothers without their own Wives would still have them in Theory in a Media" thing.

Oh wow! You made some good observations there! It is pretty funny that both Poseidon and Hades are villains in their own respected movies, yet their wives only make short cameos in said movies lol. Oh and yes, I have seen Sponge On The Run!

I know in OG Greek lore that (next to Zeus) Poseidon wasn’t the greatest god and was a bit “evil” I guess you could say lol. Plus, SpongeBob literally takes place under the sea, so I can see why they used him, but yeah maybe him being the villain is a call back to original Greek lore? Or maybe he was inspired by Hades and Nickelodeon was like “we’re gonna make our own Hades equivalent” 😂

But yeah, I do like the fact that since Amphitrite is Neptune’s wife that Salacia would be Poseidon’s wife!

And I do think it’s pretty ironic that despite them not being villains in their movie they’re both brothers in Greek lore (kinda reminds me of this fun fact I learned: James Woods {who voices Hades} and Jason Alexander {who voices Poseidon} played as brothers in a 1995 film “For Better or Worse” where James Woods was the sleazy con-man older brother while Jason Alexander was the sensitive and geeky younger brother lol and then 3 years later they play as brothers again in Hercules the animated series lol).

As someone who doesn't have a massive hate boner for the Spinoffs, I love the Narwhal Duo but one of the Designs of one of the Siblings in that Familial Relationship really kinda bothered Me like a lot. Which is why I tend to question about Narlene's "Aging".

Don't get me wrong, I love Nobby's growth development. From Being a Cute Baby Brother to Big Muscler Hillbilly but with Narlene's own growth development questions Me on how that she's just the same, yet nothing changed about her. I mean, surely that a Baby Narwhal can grow up Big and Strong, but let alone the Older Sibling just stay the same? Yeah, I don't get it either.

So here's my own attempted at redesigning a Young Narlene as I aged her down from being a Teen to a Middle Child (have her be around the same as SpongeBob and Pat) because I personally think that her own First Design should've been used for Adulthood since she looks like someone in her 30s. I also added in some Leaves as an addition to her Hair because obviously how could you let a Crazy Wild Child roam around in the Forest if she's gotta ended up having some Dirt in her Hair.

Also, I changed her own Limbs from having Fingers and Toes to Flippers like her Younger Brother because I can't stand Feet Fetishes at all.
