Did Wukong ever feel regret in killing Mac is the Brotherhood route? Or the the Promise route?
In one Mac was just trying to get Wukong to snap out of a love potion. (Doesn't anyone know a cure/see the difference)
The other was because of jealousy but maybe somehow Shanzha left behind Yue or something and it also triggers his Guardian instincts as vengeance?
Of course Wukong regretted it.
In the Brotherhood route, it was the first thing that he agonized over when the effects of the Junbei berries ran out. It would haunt him, especially since he had no control over himself.
In the Promise route, Wukong had acted to defend Shanzha but he didn’t mean to kill Macaque. He was horrified with himself and wished he could turn back time and approach things differently.

A Dark Path Walked Chapter 5: The Third Signboard
The next morning came and Juliana woke up extremely early, despite the long night at the Festival of Masks. She picked up the ogre’s mask and put it in her bag. She swapped clothes from her Festival Junbei to her Naranja Academy Summer Uniform and rushed to Kieran’s house, where Kieran and Yukito were waiting outside.
“Ah. Hello, Juliana.” Yukito smiled. “It’s such a pleasure to see you.”
“Good morning, Sir Yukito. Kieran.” Juliana smiled back.
“There is no need for formalities.” Yukito chuckled. “You can just call me Yukito.”
“H-Hey, Grandpa…” Kieran started speaking. “C-can we a-ask a favor for you?”
“Gooooooood morning, Mossui Town!” Carmine interrupted the conversation as she walked out of the house. “Time for Carmine to shine!” She then turns to Kieran. “Say, Kiki, could you move over for a bit? I wish to speak to Grandpa.”
“No fair, sis!” Kieran pouted. “I was here first! And Juliana also wants to talk to Grandpa! You can be such a jerk sometimes, you know that?!”
“What did you just call me, young man?!” Carmine hissed, her black and scarlet hair flaring up like fire. “You should watch how you talk to your older sister!”
“You should have watched your tone as you embarrassed me in front of everyone at the Festival of Masks as you tried to persuade me to Ogre Oustin’!” Kieran continued, unusually angry at his sister.
“Enough, both of you!” Yukito yelled at his children. He first turns to Carmine. “Carmine, the way you spoke to your brother wasn’t kind.”
“I was being kind!” Carmine growled. “It’s not like I hit him or anything.”
Yukito then turned to Kieran.
“And Kieran, you shouldn’t be calling your sister mean names.” He added.
“Sorry, Grandpa…” Kieran sighed. “I was so angry…”
“It is ok to be angry, Kieran.” Juliana said, patting him on the shoulder.
“Carmine, why don’t you wait near the house while I talk to your brother?” Yukito patted Carmine on her shoulder.
“What?!” Carmine hissed. “Fine. You can go waste Grandpa’s time, Kiki… outsider.”
With a hmph, Carmine walked off, muttering how her morning was already ruined.
“I am so sorry, Juliana…” Kieran sighed. “I never get angry, but Sis has been pulling so many buttons lately.”
“It’s ok. Kieran.” Juliana smiled.
“Before we were interrupted, what did you need to tell me, Kieran?” Yukito asked.
“Do you still have the thing, Juliana?” Kieran whispered to Juliana’s ear.
Juliana nodded and took out the mask. Yukito looked at the mask in disbelief.
“Is this… the Teal Mask?” He gasped. “Where did you find it?”
“I was exploring around the Festival and I saw the Ogre wearing it…” Juliana tried to explain. “I tried to start a conversation, but it ran off, dropping the mask in the process… the first person I told was Kieran.”
Much to Kieran’s relief, she left out the part where they ran off to the Dreaden Den to give the mask back.
“To think that the ogre would still grace us with its presence.” Yukito muttered to himself, but he did not notice he said that phrase outloud.
“Still?” Kieran was confused. “What are you talking about, Grandpa? Doesn’t it say that the ogre terrorized the town?”
Yukito hesitated before turning around. He knew Kieran loves the ogre and he knew that Juliana wasn’t from Kitakami. He took a deep breath.
“I suppose it is time I tell you the truth, Kieran…” He said. “The actual story about the ogre… is the other way around.”
“The other way around?” Kieran was even more confused. “What do you mean?”
“You should hear this too, Juliana.” Yukito turned to Juliana. “You met the ogre… or… Ogerpon as it is rightfully named. Let me tell you the true story as it was passed down from generation to generation… a story passed down from mouth to mouth. I learned it from my father.” He closed his eyes. “This is a story of truths. A story that must never be told to the rest of the villagers. You must never speak of it to the others.”
“Alright.” Juliana nodded, her voice sounding unusually serious.
“I understand, Grandpa…” Kieran nodded.
Yukito then opened its eyes and told the story of Ogerpon.
“Long long ago, there was a man who was travelling with his partner Pokémon, Ogerpon. They arrived to Kitakami from a far off region, so the villagers were afraid of their different appearance. They were saddened, yet they were still happy because they had each other. They made their home in the mountains. One person held pity for the duo, the village mask maker. The mask maker carved four masks with mysterious crystals and gave them to the duo so they could fit in with the villagers at the festival… but the masks caught the attention of three greedy Pokémon, Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti. The three greedy Pokémon went to the duo's home to steal the mask, but the man arrived and attempted to stop the robberies, being able to protect only one mask. Ogerpon returned home only to see a struggle and the Teal Mask. Enraged, Ogerpon donned the mask and set off on a quest for revenge and to find its fallen partner. It defeated the Loyal Three in battle. The villagers who saw the whole event were terrified. They believed the three Pokémon protected the villagers from the fearsome ogre. The three Fallen Pokémon were dubbed the Loyal Three and buried in a monument called Loyalty Plaza while Ogerpon returned home… alone and sad…”
After the story ended, Juliana was left in stunned silence… to think that Ogerpon would end up ostracized and labeled as a monster while her enemies were praised as heroes who lost their lives. It reminded her of what happened to Penny and Team Star. Team Star and Penny were bullied by other students and Team Star initiated Operation Star so they could fight back their bullies, only for them to run away and drop out of Naranja Academy. In the end. Penny took the blame and had to return to Galar.
She turned to Kieran, who was trembling in anger.
“No way…” He said in a soft voice. He thought that Ogerpon was a brave warrior who defeated the Loyal Three in a three on one battle. He then raised his voice. “OGERPON DID NOT DESERVE ANY OF THIS!! AND THE LOYAL THREE!! THOSE JERKS ARE THE WORST!!!” He turned around to leave. “I HAVE TO TELL THE REST OF THE VILLAGERS!! THEY NEED TO KNOW!!!”
“Hold, Kieran!!” Yukito stopped his grandson from stepping foot outside their front yard. “I have told you to keep it to yourself!”
“B-but grandpa!” Kieran tried to say something.
“The people believe their own side of the story.” The grandfather continued. “How would they feel if they were told that their story was all a lie?”
“They’d… feel upset…” Kieran answered.
“Exactly.” Yukito nodded. “When all of this happened, the mask maker, our ancestor, tried to explain the truth of the story, but no one took him seriously and he was labeled a heretic.”
“I really want to help Ogerpon…” Kieran whimpered as he went back to his grandfather. “I can’t let them suffer like this… We have to do something now.”
“I wish we could do something, Kieran.” Yukito said. “In the end, the mask maker could protect his descendants, us, by keeping his mouth shut. However, he passed down the truth to his descendants from generation to generation. It was kept a family secret.”
“Does Sis know yet?” Kieran asked.
“No, she does not.” Yukito shook his head. “I have not spoken to her about it, why do you ask?”
“Sis can be a bit brash at times and… I’m afraid she might put us and Juliana in danger and spread the word.” Kieran answered.
“I do not want to keep Carmine in the dark.” Yukito shook his head. “But I will keep your word for now, and I will tell her when the time is right. For now, do not say a word to anybody.”
“Of course, Grandpa…” Kieran nodded. “I cannot believe that this happened to Ogerpon…”
“Now about the mask.” Yukito looked at the Teal Mask. “I noticed that the jewel on its forehead was chipped. I might be able to fix it, would you mind if I stayed with it?”
“We don’t mind, Grandpa!” Kieran smiled. “Ogerpon would be very happy if they saw that their mask is fixed!”
“Don’t worry, you two.” Yukito smiled back. “I’ll be sure to take good care of the mask.”
“Thank you, Grandpa!” Kieran chirped. “I promise that you won’t be let down!”
What the three of them did not know is that Carmine overheard the entire conversation. She was gritting her teeth in anger, her hands holding the front part of her hair. She was left out by her own grandfather and her brother… and not only that, the person who is not even from her home region learned the truth of a story she should have known before her. She took a deep breath and ran towards Peachy’s to calm down.
Tumblr media
A few minutes later, Juliana bought some Pokéballs at Peachy’s when Carmine walked up to her.
“Hello, Juliana.” Carmine, pretending to be friendly. “I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what were you, Grandpa and Kiki talking about?”
“Oh… we were talking about this and that…” Juliana smiled. “Nothing important.”
“Oh… I see….” Carmine’s smile dropped. “I heard you were going to the last signboard at Paradise Barrens. Maybe you will learn something very important.”
“Alright.” Juliana nodded. “Thank you, Carmine. I hope you find your signboard at Kitakami Hall.”
Juliana walked to where Kieran was waiting for her. Carmine looked down in anger.
“You…” She hissed. “You lied to me… you hid something from me…”
As the sun was setting, Juliana and Kieran arrived at the third signboard at the Paradise Barrens. Before Kieran could say anything, Juliana walked up to the signboard.
“The third signboard…” She said. “Let’s read. It says… ‘If you see a shadowy figure approaching you outside the village at twilight, be wary. Don a mask at once and hide your face. Do so and whether the shadow is man or monster, you will pass each other by as fellow mask wearers. If you should meet the shadow when you have no mask in hand, then pray it is only a man. If it is, you will live to see another day and you will remember to never forget your mask again. But if it is the ogre, you will meet your end as do all humans whose faces are seen by it. Once it sees your face, your soul will be forfeit. And you shall never return to the village.’ Hm…”
“Juliana?” Kieran said. “Are you ok?”
“Something is not right…” Juliana said. “The story of Ogerpon and the story at the signboards are all different… and not only that… I didn’t have a mask last night and I didn’t get my soul absorbed…”
“You’re right…” Kieran nodded.
“Come on… let’s take a picture… that way, we’re the first group to finish the assignment for the school field trip.” Juliana suggested.
They took the last picture, however, Juliana did not have the energy to pose while Kieran looked at Juliana worriedly.
Tumblr media
“H-hey, Juliana?” Kieran went to her. “Do you… want to battle?”
“Are you sure, Kieran?” Juliana looked worriedly at Kieran. “I’m afraid you might hate me if you lose.”
“O-of course I won’t hate you!” Kieran shook his head. “You’re my friend! And there is no way I would hate you at all!”
“Alright…” Juliana took out a Pokéball. “If you want a battle, I’ll give you a battle.”
Juliana struggled since there were no Pokémon who could defeat Kieran’s newly caught Gligar and Poliwhirl had evolved to a Poliwrath. Only Arboliva was left standing because of its Seed Sower ability activating Grassy Terrain.
“That was close.” Juliana said.
“You don’t sound like… your old self, Juliana…” Kieran said. “Are you ok?”
“Sorry for my behavior, Kieran…” Juliana sighed. “But I was reminded of a friend of mine. Her name is Penny.”
She stopped herself before she could say anything. Juliana was never hesitant to speak and she was always kind and devoted to her friends. Seeing her like this made Kieran even more worried. The first thing he did was to hug her. She hugged back, feeling relieved that she still had someone to rely on in Kitakami.
“There is nothing to worry about, Juliana. I am right here.” Kieran said.
“Thank you, Kieran.” Juliana whispered.
They broke the hug as the sky was getting darker.
“Wowzers.” Kieran looked at the sky. “It’s dark already? Come on. Let’s go back to Mossui Town.”
“Alright.” Juliana nodded.
The both of them walked back to Mossui Town, their assignment finally done.

I have a theory about Moroha’s debt.
Junbei made a deal to have Moroha carry the one wolf demon’s debt so she could be kept busy training on her own at her own pace instead of having to be put in danger all the time by the wolf demon clan. So he’d underpay for everything Moroha gave him. Probably at least until he believes that she could handle herself.
He’d give her targets, sure, but if she couldn’t kill those demons then she just couldn’t and she’d move onto the next. She wasn’t expected to kill them.
Now that she has her parents back she doesn’t have to worry about going back to the wolf demon clan who’d just force her to do things she can’t handle so he decided to wipe out the debt with that sword.
I could be wrong, and he could just be a jackass, but that one episode where they explain how she got into debt in the first place makes me think otherwise.

For a modern day AU, where would the Straw Hats would work at the mall?? Do they meet up during their breaks?
All malls are different and it also depends on where you live so im going to do it based on where I live.
Where the strawhats would work in the mall
Tumblr media
Luffy would work at the food court because he gets discounted food and gets to eat the leftovers for free; he’s the one passing out flyers
Zoro would work in the exercise equipment store, he’s the one that shows you how the equipment works and which one is best to suit your needs
Nami would work in a clothing store, she also gets discounted clothing and she haggles her way into getting the clothes even cheaper
Usopp would work in the fix and repair shop where he fixes any electronic device that’s broken
Sanji would also work in the food court, he works in the one that cooks infront of you
Chopper would work in build a bear; tell me otherwise
Robin works in a antique store with old artifacts and knows all the history of them.
Franky also works in the fix and repair shop along side Usopp but he’s the manager
Brook works in the music shop and plays the piano while customers walk in and look around
If you want junbei included, he would be the owner of the mall
They all meet up during their break at the food court to get discounted food and eat outside on the benches to talk about their day before having to continue work. They do meet up again and carpool home.

So the interesting things we learned in this episode are:
1. Kagome herself sealed Moroha's demon powers. To make sure they wouldn't be overpowering.
2. BUT Master Yawaragi bypassed that with the rouge to unlock the powers in small, but vicious amounts. How and why she did this, we don't know. The way Yawaragi has been training Moroha, she wants her to be able yo CONTROL her own powers. The way Inuyasha learned how to do that with the Tetaiga. The Rouge and the Tetsaiga basically do the same things.
3. We learn about the fire rats!! An entire community and they are blacksmiths, and they make cursed objects sometimes. But we know where the fire rat robe comes from! And the instant we learn about them, we find that they have been wiped out by the fucking peril dude. Hate him for that.
4. Apparently the crucible spell to create a Mega Demon is common?? There is an Official Demon Gambling House that creates these things often?? Ok.
5. We know why Moroha has debt now. And the reason sucks. How much does she blame herself for Yawaragi gaining the armor and needing to gamble for her life? Yikes. Moroha acts tough, but how much was it eating at her? Also that she was just DROPPED OFF with Junbei, and no one in the wold tribe tries to find her? How much you wanna bet that Koga didn't know about ANY of it, and when he finds out he is going to be PISSED that his goddaughter was treated that way. She should have returned to the pack!! I need protective Koga, ok??
6. Moroha suffers each time she uses her rouge. Just like when Inuyasha transformed, its dangerous for her to do it as well. She could lose herself. It's the damage that is inherent in every part demon. We kind of knew that, but to have it spelled out like that makes it a real threat.
7. THE GIRLS ARE UNITED. THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER. THE TWINS CHEERED ON AND CHEERED UP THEIR COUSIN. THEY ARE TOGETHER FOREVER NOW. I NEEDED THIS.

In the Canon game, was azure the one who love potioned wukong, and if he wasn't was he aware wukong was under a spell. Cause in your fic azure did it after 1)wukong rejected his cause 2)he found out about shadowpeach, which are two extremes that probably didn't happen in his game route
In the “Brotherhood” route of the game, Azure wasn’t the one who actively love drugged Wukong. That was Peng who, instead of employing Princess Jade-Face, bought a dosage of Junbei berries and manipulated things in a way that Azure delivered the spiked food/drink to Wukong. Azure wasn’t aware of the love drugging while it was happening, though it didn’t stop him from taking advantage of the situation during the other half of the route.

A Dark Path Walked Chapter 4: The Festival of Masks
Juliana and Kieran arrived at the latter’s home, where his grandparents were waiting.
“Grandpa! Grandma!” Kieran called out. “I’m home!”
“Welcome home, Kieran.” Kieran’s grandfather smiled. “And I see you brought along a friend. Who is this girl?”
“F-Friend…” Kieran said shily. “That’s one way to put our fellow student. Oh, this Juliana. She is a student from Paldea.”
“Hello, sir. Ma’am.” Juliana bowed. “Nice to meet you.”
“What a kind young girl.” Kieran’s grandmother smiled. “My name is Hideko and this is my husband Yukito.”
“Did you both need something?” Yukito asked.
“Well…” Kieran tapped his two index fingers together. “Tonight is the first day of this year’s Festival of Mask and I was asking if you have something to help Juliana get ready.”
“Why, of course!” Hideko nodded. “We have a spare jinbei just in case someone wants to participate in the festivities. Come with me, sweetheart.”
A few minutes later, Hideko helped Juliana dress up in a green Kitakami-styled Jinbei and did a little ponytail for her. Kieran had also changed to his white jinbei.
“There you go.” Hideko said. “Now you are ready to participate in the Festival of Masks.”
“Oh, grandpa!” Carmine got outside her house, wearing her blue jinbei. “Have you seen our masks, we need them for the-” She then notices Juliana next to her brother. “Hey! Why is she here?!”
“Relax, Sis.” Kieran said. “I invited her to join us at the Festival and she agreed.”
“You? Inviting someone?” Carmine tried not to laugh. “Now that is something new that I’ve heard today.”
“Why are you so mean to Juliana, Sis?” Kieran glared at his sister. “She has been nothing but kind to us.”
“Enough, you two.” Yukito looked at his grandchildren. “You are embarrassing us in front of our guest.”
“S-sorry, Gramps…” Kieran said while Carmine huffed.
“Now to answer your question, Carmine.” Yukito faced his granddaughter. “The masks are at the mask shed. You may also find a mask for Juliana too.”
“The Mask Shed, hugh…” Carmine mused. “Well… first come, first served, is what they say!” Carmine ran off to the mask shed.
“Sis! Hold on!” Kieran chased after his sister.
“I am so sorry about Carmine and Kieran.” Yukito sighed as he faced Juliana. “They can be… at each other’s throat sometimes. Especially Carmine due to-”
“It’s ok.” Juliana smiled. “Kieran’s a sweet kid, I’m happy you raised him”
“You’re way too sweet.” Hideko smiled back. “I am glad you became friends with Kieran. Maybe you should go grab a mask at the Mask Shed. Kieran and Carmine are already there.”
Juliana went to the shed, where Carmine made a mess while looking for a mask for Juliana. Carmine was wearing a Munkidori mask while Kieran was wearing an ogre mask.
“Where is it?!” Carmine hissed.
“Um… sis?” Kieran tugged his sister’s junbei shirt.
“Oh. You’re here.” Carmine saw Juliana. “Were you here to find a mask? Unfortunately for you, the masks Kiki and I have are the only ones in there.”
“Sorry, Juliana…” Kieran sighed. “You can have my mask if you want. I’ll buy another one for myself.”
“Kiki, are you nuts?!” Carmine hissed. “That’s your beloved Ogre Mask! You can’t give it away!” She took a deep breath. “Very well… if you want a mask, you better battle me!”
“Sis! That’s not necessary!” Kieran growled at his sister. “And you don’t need to battle Juliana everytime for no reason!”
“It’s okay, you two…” Juliana tried to calm the siblings down. “I don’t need a mask. I’ll be ok.”
“Battle me regardless.” Carmine said.
Tumblr media
“I’m so sorry, Juliana…” Kieran sighed. “Sis loves to battle…”
“It’s ok.” Juliana said. “During our trips, I did some training with the Kitakami Pokémon I caught.”
Juliana saw that Carmine had not only evolved her Poochyena to a Mightyena and her Poltchageist into an Unremarkable Sinistcha, but also caught a Morpeko and Swadloon. However, even though she defeated Carmine again, there was no mask to give Juliana, something she didn’t mind.
After that totally unnecessary battle, Carmine, Kieran and Juliana went to Kitakami Hall, where the Festival of Masks takes place.
“Behold! The Festival of Masks!” Carmine showed Juliana around. “This festival is to celebrate the honor of the Loyal Three who took down the ogre.”
“We do Festivals of Masks every year.” Kieran said. “It… helps tourists enjoy Kitakami.”
“I know one way to help make memories.” Carmine had an idea. “Hey, may I borrow your Roto-Stick?”
“Sure.” Juliana gave Carmine her Roto-Stick.
Carmine took a selfie of her, Juliana and Kieran together at the Festival of Masks with Juliana’s Roto-Stick, Kieran bought some candy apples for him and Juliana and Juliana explored the Festival of Masks until something caught her eyes. It was a traditional Kitakami Game called Ogre Oustin’.
“So you’re interested in Ogre Oustin’?” Carmine said. “Do you think you can beat my record of 6,390 points?”
“Sis, stop challenging people!” Kieran hissed. “It’s getting old!”
“It’s ok, Kieran.” Juliana said. “I can do one game of Ogre Oustin’. It looks like fun.”
“You can do it, Juliana!” Kieran cheered for the Paldean Girl.
“This is going to be interesting.” Carmine thought to herself. “There is no way that this outsider can beat my record? I got it at last year’s Festival of Masks.”
Juliana struggled at first since Koraidon was hungry, but she made a score of 6,510 points, beating Carmine’s record by 110 points. Carmine was upset and challenged Kieran to beat her, however, when he refused, the siblings started another argument. Juliana saw a strange kid walking around and slowly went to it.
Tumblr media
“Hello, little one.” She spoke to it nicely. “I love your mask. Are you enjoying the Festival?”
After a few minutes of silence, the kid ran off to the stairs of Oni Mountain. Juliana chased after it.
“Hold on! I don’t want to hurt you!” Juliana tried to call out.
The kid finished climbing up the stairs, but it dropped its mask, revealing that it was not a kid, but a Pokémon. Juliana grabbed the mask and tried to give it back.
“You dropped your mask.” Juliana said.
The kid instead ran off back to Oni Mountain. Juliana looked back at the mask.
“This kid… it wasn’t a kid…” She said to herself. “But… it was the ogre?! I need to tell you someone… someone I trust.”
She looked around for someone to tell about what happened. She saw Kieran mumbling to himself in anger.
“Umbelievable…” He muttered. “Sis is so annoying…”
“Um… Kieran?” Juliana went to him. “Are you ok?”
“Oh, hi, Juliana…” Kieran sighed. “I’m sorry you had to witness Sis’s… pride.”
“It’s ok.” Juliana smiled. “Can we talk somewhere private?”
“Um… sure?” Kieran was confused.
The two of them headed off to the stairs that lead to Oni Mountain.
“What do you want to say?” Kieran asked.
“I’m sorry if this upsets you…” Juliana said. “But… I saw the ogre… It had run off and along the way, it dropped this…” She shows the mask the Ogre was wearing. “I tried to give it back, but I must have unintentionally scared it… do you… want to come with me to try to give the mask back?”
Tumblr media
Instead of anger, Juliana saw joy in Kieran’s eyes. She had asked him to go with her to give the mask back to the ogre… he felt like he was dreaming.
“Of course!” Kieran almost screamed as he grabbed her hand. “Come on! Let’s go!”
The two of them then ran off to the Dreaded Den. Kieran had gotten a lot of stamina since he had gone there plenty of time, Juliana, on the other hand, was trying to regain her energy since running around on sandals can be a bit painful on your feet.
They looked around for the ogre.
“Hello?” Kieran called out. “Little Ogre?”
“It’s me…” Juliana also called out. “The girl from the festival… I want to give your mask back to you…”
Nothing happened. Kieran sighed, defeated.
“Aw man…” He whimpered. “I was hoping we could actually do it… Perhaps we should ask Gramps to see if-”
“HOW DARE YOU!!!!” Carmine’s voice rang out as she stomped to Kieran and Juliana in anger. “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING, YOUNG MAN?! RUNNING OUTSIDE OF KITAKAMI HALL IN YOUR JINBEI?! ONCE I TELL GRANDPA, YOU ARE GOING TO BE SO GROUNDED!!!” She then turned to Juliana. “AS FOR YOU, MISSY!!! DON’T THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH SNEAKING OUT WITH MY LITTLE BROTHER!! SUCH RECKLESS BEHAVIOR FOR AN OUTSIDER!!!!”
Tumblr media
“S-Sis! H-Hold on!” Kieran tried to calm down his sister, who is as enraged as a Primape overusing Rage Fist just to evolve. “I-I should be the one held responsi-”
“DO NOT TALK BACK AT A TIME LIKE THIS!!!” Carmine almost shouted as she harshly grabbed their wrists. “COME ON!! WE ARE GOING BACK TO THE FESTIVAL!! AND YOU ARE NOT GONNA LEAVE THE AREA UNLESS ONE OF YOU IS SLEEPY!!”
“Ow… that’s too tight, Sis…” Kieran sounded like he was about to cry.
The three of them returned to Kitakami Hall, with no one aware of what happened since they were enjoying the Festival of Masks. Carmine ran off to grab some ramen from the stalls so she could calm down.
“I am so so so so so sorry about what happened…” Kieran bowed nonstop. “Sis isn’t usually like this…”
“It’s ok…” Juliana was still smiling despite the fact that she was scolded. “This is the first time I got scolded for something.” She let out a yawn. “All this fun and adventure made me sleepy…”
“Do you want me to take you back to the community center?” Kieran asked.
“Of course.” Juliana said.
They took a slow walk to avoid Carmine’s glare.
“About the mask…” Kieran said. “We should take it to Gramps, just in case… He may know of its origins.”
“Alright.” Juliana said. “I’ll be at your house tomorrow morning.”
“Thanks, Juliana.” Kieran smiled.
The two returned to Mossui Town and Kieran dropped Juliana off to the Community Center. Just as Kieran was about to say good night, Juliana hugged him. He was surprised at first, but he later hugged back. It was the first time in a while since someone besides his family hugged him. As much as he wanted to stay in Juliana’s embrace, he still had to make sure she got to bed. She smiled as she went inside the Community Center, where Briar greeted them with a smile.
Kieran yawned as well and went back home, so he could get a good night sleep.

Wild Weekend
So this past weekend was an awesome one, probably one of the best I’ve had (even with all the bug bites). On Friday, I headed into Nagoya to spend the weekend with my ALT friend, Caroline. That night, we met up with another ALT, Michael and went to eat at this really awesome restaurant. Each table was surrounded by wooden walls for privacy, and you ordered plates with chicken, cooked of varying styles, on sticks, kabobs, although I can’t remember what the restaurant’s style is called.
On Saturday, Caroline and I went into Sakae to watch the World Cosplay Summit’s red carpet parade. We had originally decided to attend the acting stage, but threw that out to go Yukata shopping instead. I wanted a Junbei, not a traditionally Yukata. A Junbei is two pieces. The top looks like a Yukata, but then you have either pants or shorts on the bottom. I had been hopping to find one with shorts, but I wasn’t successful. I did find one with pants that can easily be rolled up. I had to get a men’s Junbei, since I’m taller and bigger than Japanese women. I’m fine with that, since I like the darker colors of the male Junbei and Yukatas. Caroline was unsuccessful, but we are hoping our trip to Tokyo next week will give us success.
On Sunday, we drove up to Inuyama because we read about a Stone carrying festival that had fire spinning at night. We visited a shrine first, then ate some Sushi, then found the area with the festival. We ended up climbing a mini mountain, finding out half way up that any rock would be okay to take up with us. The trip down was scarier then up. I had to have Caroline help me at a few places that my mind started freaking out at and having a small case of vertigo. I did slip once on a rock, but luckily, didn’t land wrong and was able to keep going. We somehow timed our descent perfectly and caught the fire spinning. We were almost hit by swinging fire a few times, but it was awesome. Including us, there were only 5 foreigners there. The other three having been invited to participate in the festival.
On Monday, we had planned to go to a daily festival being held at Nagoya Castle, but it was so hot, and we had been out three days in it already, that we decided by way of laziness, to not go. I was dealing with my numerous bug bites as well, and didn’t want to be far from the itch cream.
Overall, besides our crazy one day trip to Kyoto, this past weekend was an amazing one that I hope to repeat, but maybe in cooler temps.
