Hi there! I am a 26 year old female and I’m looking for someone 21+ who would be interested in some mxtx rps! I’m particularly looking for rps from heavens officials blessings and scum villain, which I will post specific plots / characters below, but I am open to doubles and will add danmei characters below that I feel comfortable playing, though if you want something else, i will give it a try!
But onto plot ideas/characters!
So for heaven officials blessings I would love to do either a hualian rp (preferably with me as xie lian) or I have found a love for QiuRong (I would prefer to play Qi rong)!
Some basic plot ideas for hualian🦋👑are:
Post canon - pretty self explanatory here but i do enjoy canon!
Coffin time - I’m a sucker for fics and stuff where hua cheng finds xie lian in the coffin or right after he gets out, and just yes!
Reverse au - god hua cheng and ghost king xie lian anyone? I read a fic about it that got me thinking about this idea and I think it could be fun!
One piece au - I’m also a big one piece fan and I mean pirate hua cheng and former marine xie lian? Like I feel like there is some potential there.
So I’m also a big Percy jackson fan, and I love the idea of them being demigods and going on a mission and shit? Like it could be fun!

Just some domestic shit with them and Quzi and trying to make life work man! It just sounds fun!
Typical canon stuff, I think it would be great!

I totally see him as a special education teacher, because like overworked, under appreciated, everyone excepts him to do all this shit and is just like well it’s your job, no one else can do his job or wants to do his job, and often feels like people don’t want him around, like yeah that’s special education (my credentials is that I am a special education teacher lol so trust me I know this life)!

His shoulders were slumped, throwing off his entire posture. It took several inches off his already short stature. The obnoxiously vigorous radiance surrounding him at all times had dimmed. He climbed into it, decidedly bigger than Yang’er, and started to peel the orange treasures he’d stolen from the kitchen. Scarred fingers struggling to get it all off in one smooth peel, like gege, with little success.
Out the corner of his eyes, Xu Shuanglin watched him poke out his tongue in concentration, his motor skills hampered somewhat after the accident. Trying to make sure he pulled apart perfect, whole segments for gege. This new routine of theirs felt so familiar and wrenched at Xu Shuanglin’s heart. His amused smirk turned into a wistful one as those scarred fingers, so much larger than the young, unmarred ones who he remembered, place a slightly mangled tangerine piece on to the corner of his makeshift office desk.
Without a word, he ate it, one hand still typing away. His silent audience giggling behind his hand. The faded marks covering his face crinkling up in a way that was almost cute.

1. which adaptations have you seen/watched? which one do you like best and why?
I’ve watched both the donghua and CQL (and read the book and some of the manhua). I’m not sure if I have a definitive answer to which visual adaptation is better? The donghua is gorgeous, especially all the demonic cultivation in the third season (plus it was my first mdzs adaptation, my first danmei of any kind actually). I do really enjoy CQL tho, and there are things I like and dislike about both adaptations. That answer is a total cop out but it’s also the truth 😂
2. top 5 favorite characters? what specifically do you like about each one?
Okay so I thought I had this, no problem, and then I counted again and realized I had six characters lmao... I’m not doing this in order bc that’s too many decisions to deal with
1. Wei Wuxian - What can I say, I love a tragic hero! I am intrigued by how smart he is (inventing demonic cultivation, lure flags, etc) but also how he makes mistakes and does some really fucked up stuff even tho he has good intentions. A great complex character!
2. Lan Wangji - I mean who doesn't like Hanguang-jun? He's a badass and a romantic, plus he's stubborn as shit. I really appreciate his relationships with the juniors. I also think his whole teenage angst about liking wwx is fantastic, and also him being super horny and dominant... I am a fan of novel dynamics for wangxian's sex life lol
3. Xue Yang & Xiao Xingchen - I am a slut for a good tragedy and for messed up characters! Plus I love identity porn. Yi City and XueXiao were basically tailored to my personal taste.
4. Lan Sizhui - He's just a good boy! And I like the added complexity of his identity.
5. Jiang Cheng - Honestly it took me a little while to latch onto him as hard, but he grew on me steadily. I originally mostly thought about him in relation to WWX, but damn he's been through a lot! Raising his nephew and running his sect on his own after he's lost everything? Really fucking sad and angry about it? That's good shit!
Also want to note that I like all of these characters in all adaptations, but their actors all did a fantastic job in cql and really added to my love for the characters, especially Wang Haoxuan as Xue Yang and Wang Zuocheng as Jiang Cheng!
6. unpopular opinions?
1. I don’t hate Jiang Cheng or Lan Qiren? those can be pretty unpopular opinions
2. I’m a white American and my reading of danmei is definitely colored by my different experiences/worldview... I try to be aware of that as much as I can be and to read meta by Chinese disaspora (EDIT: I wrote this like a year ago and idk where I was going with this, but I think I was trying to say something about how I try to make sure my opinions aren't culturally insensitive? Bc some of the takes you see definitely are)
12. do you like any other of mxtx's works? is mdzs your first of hers or did you watch/read the others first?
It’s less obvious on tumblr bc there’s less content I come across compared to twt but your girl is a Scum Villain main lmao
(EDIT: That was written a year ago when I started answering this ask. One of the advantages to twt's whole mess is that there's more scum villain content on tumblr now!!)
That said, I have read all three MXTX novels, watched all three donghuas, watched CQL, and read at least part of all three manhuas (rip sv manhua)
my order of watching/reading (with some overlap) was something like:

25. queer headcanons?
- I definitely see Wei Wuxian as bi, altho I can understand reading him as a gay man who isn’t actually attracted at all to the women he flirts with
- On the other hand, 90% of the time I see Lan Wangji as gay. The other 10% is me going “but what if Wei Ying was a girl tho”
I don’t think I have a lot of definitive non canon queer headcanons for mdzs honestly? There are definitely ones I enjoy and ones I don’t really see, but a lot of times I’m just happy to be taken along for the ride of other people’s headcanons for a fic or meta. Here are a few I’ve enjoyed:
- Asexual Jiang Cheng
- Bisexual Jiang Fengmian (in love with Wei Changze)
- Trans headcanons/AUs for various characters

Generation One - Chapter Thirty Nine
River is confronted by Jun and Reiko about what they heard at work and accidentally involve someone else in their shenanigans. River is still upset that she hasn't heard anything about Ichiban, and decides to go somewhere seedy to get more information.
After a long day at work, with no more information about Ichiban to show for it, River went home frustrated.
Nobody else was home, so she sat down to watch some TV and cool off. However, about thirty minutes later someone knocked on the door.
"It's us! Reiko and Jun!" Reiko's voice yelled on the other side of the door.
"Come in!" River didn't really feel like entertaining, but she also didn't want to upset her new friends.
Reiko elbowed Jun and gave him a glare.
What's all that about? River asked herself, then invited them to sit down at the kotatsu.
"So, what exactly was it you wanted to talk to me about? Are you asking for my blessings to marry Reiko?"
Jun's face turned bright red and he exchanged an embarrassed look with Reiko.
"No, no, no. It's uh..."
"Jun, Reiko, I..."
"Yeah," Jun laughed nervously, "Please tell me this is all a joke. I don't want to die!"
River looked up and locked eyes with Michiko.
"Tell us what?!" Jun screeched. "Are we going to die?"
"Not if you listen to what I have to say..." Michiko smirked.
"What are you talking about?!" River began to sweat nervously, one of her coworkers from NITCA caught her almost leaking information to civilians! She was going to report her to Damien and get her fired...!
"What." River's stomach felt like it was falling out of her.
"Our side, what do you mean?"
Michiko made her way to the kotatsu.
"Alright guys, hold on, I need to discuss something with River first." Michiko looked over to River and said point-blank, "I know you used to date Masumi Arakawa's son. And I know that you're only here doing this internship so you can find him again. You don't really care about the mission that Damien put you on, you're really just an agent for yourself."
River felt like puking and Jun and Reiko exchanged shocked glances.
"How..."
"I know because I've got my own interests at heart here too. I don't give a damn about what Damien or NITCA want. I want what I want, and right now I'm pretty interested in helping you. Seems like you've got an interesting mission ahead of yourself!"
"I..." Jun raised his finger, "would really like to know what all this means!"
"We work for a government organization in Simlandia called NITCA and we've been put on missions to spy on organized crime in Mt. Komorebi. River here was assigned to Arakawa Corp., which is actually just a big Simkuza family disguised as a multi-faceted business. Again, she's in love with Arakawa's son, and came here with her own agenda to find him again."
"Our parents are going to kill us!"
"That's only if they find out..." Michiko grinned. "I have reason to believe the Arakawa himself is a good guy, despite the fact that his people get up to bad stuff sometimes. Again, I'm all for rebelling against NITCA and doing something fun. And I think the two of you would be great assets to helping River and myself find Ichiban..."
"Why do you care about helping me find Ichiban?!" River didn't know what to feel at that moment. Things were getting weird really fast.
"Let's just say, I got my reasons." Michiko folded her arms across her chest. "Take me or leave me on this mission, I'm still betraying NITCA whether you let me help you or not."
Jun and Reiko were nervously whispering amongst themselves and River felt like she was going to explode.
"I have to go... think about things!" River got up and stormed off towards the bathroom.
"Oh pssshaw, nah, not if you follow in my and River's footsteps!"
River went to the shower and sat in the steam, with a cooling face mask on to create a contrast of temperatures. She was all shaken up over the revelation that Michiko was a traitor just like she was, and that she knew about her plans the whole time!
She was either playing at something nasty, or she really was going to useful at helping her find Ichiban... At this point the only thing she could do was play along and hope for the best. However, keeping Reiko and Jun safe and quiet was going to be a big task. She hoped she would succeed.

Sigh we're outside bois
Welp we're sleeping outside again tonight bois. It's Jun 12, 11:47pm. I'm on a family members deck in their backyard. So on safe property. Just no access to the inside.
Three different people blew me off earlier this evening with me trying to find a space to be inside of for a little while. But thankfully I dressed in just enough layers. I'm not exactly warm, but I'm definitely not freezing.
Feels weird updating you guys like this. I know no one actually rewards this blog, but it's me keeping a record just in case someone happens to be curious. I don't want to die in this world without at least leaving my true thoughts somewhere. And that's what this blog is. I like the fit I have on! I feel like I look cool lol, even though I'm dressed for the weather/survival.
My chronic pain is bothering me, as expected. It's been raining on and off and it's supposed to continue to do so throughout the night. Currently my knees are cold to the touch and my left sciatic nerve is acting up. I don't have hand warmers, but I do have cover from the rain under a deck umbrella. And Ive been tubing my sleeves to keep my finger tips from feeling too nipped. And friction is our friend for knee warming.
I called my dad. Gave him insight on my current situation. He's concerned for me, but happy to hear from me. My Best Friend from highschool has been trying to encourage me to find a space with walls, but alas. Other people didn't answer the phone.
the 'friend' (and I say this tentatively) that I've made here in the city has been extremely distant socially. I'm guessing my state of need/existence seems to burdensome to deal with because she keeps sending me off.
I knew it was a 'no' based off her language and implications, but I really would've preferred a direct no. Putting the onus on roommates that are unavailable yet are most likely not to mind a single night is pretty annoying, but it's also not my business. I don't know what's transpired over there or how any of them feel about me anymore. I haven't seen them in months because of well, social distancing. Idk.
I'm tired of people letting me know I'm overwhelming or a burden to them. I'm trying my best, but I know I need to do better. And until then I shouldn't try to deal with people that don't have my best interest in mind. It hurts, knowing you're not a priority, and knowing you can't ask to be one without argument either. (They're also dealing with a lot themselves... But still, direct communication please)
I've been listening to music to stay calm.. my dad reminded me to try not to call too much attention to myself. (In case of arrest). Which makes sense; lately I've been more focused on using my Bluetooth to establish presence, and keep weirdos away. But being incognito is something I should remaster in my current form of existence. I also started practicing my stance again. Just so if I do end up in a fight, I'm prepared to defend myself. When it comes to exerting force energy it feels different from maintaining stamina. I get tired quicker of course, im no longer used to the motions. But as I continue, I will strengthen myself.
Something nice that happened is that I was blessed to witness a mama skunk and her babies crossing through the backyard!!! The babies are SO CUTE. And now I have to name moms cuz I've been seeing her out on my wake and bakes and night tokes for a couple years now lol. Maybe I'll make sonas/Giginkas for them. (No I didn't get sprayed lol, I kept a healthy distance)
Well that's pretty much it on the current status report. (Of course a shit ton of other stuff is happening, but I'm not ready to talk about it yet. It's... Saddening to see how one's abuse is simply an annoyance and inconvenience to others, rather than a problem to be addressed. But I have to get better at addressing these matters myself, and also stay out of such situations in the future as much as possible)

I hate fake bad men MonkeyaZ who beautify themselves just for me to like them, meaning they are the unfair men who trapped my legs since 2007... I don't like those kind of men..
Love can define in so many ways... I'm not arrogant but just defending myself now,angels... I'm not that tall but I was cute like what I said since I was a kid, I always had the muse position and I know I have brains but it wasn't working at all times due to the different situation that I had with my biological mother during the days that I was with her, before going here in the house of my adoptive parent's the younger sister of my biological mother Beth who married a japanese Math Teacher originally in Japan...

He’s at his greatest with war and violence happening around
He’s stronger, faster, more agile, and more combative than other demigods due to who his father is
He has the ability of telumkinesis, the ability of control over weapons.
He’s very short tempered, more so than his siblings, has even sent arrows to the counselors head.
To others’ annoyance he throws away the plan.
Unlike his siblings, he doesn’t have odikinesis, the ability to control the feels of anger, hatred, and bloodlust.
But, his siblings can’t control his because of how raw his feelings can get, how strong they get.
He can communicate with those who’ve fallen in battle if he walks on a battlefield.
He has the blessing of Ares when he gets severely pissed, which clowns the bearer in glowing aura of flickering red that temporarily grants invulnerability to pain and physical harm.
The others send in Jun when they noticed that Boun’s blessing is active. 
When is playing fire with fire- because Jun can match him in strength but Boun is always pissed at Jun after finding out that Jun beat Ares in a fight.
Boun’s extremely hot-headed and he has a short vise
He’s also more stubborn than anyone else in the camp
Boun has bad claustrophobia, if he ever finds himself trapped, he’ll can get hurt pretty badly because he’d put everything into getting out.
Always the one playing rock music in cabin
He’s slayed a drakon, more powerful than a dragon.
He dragged the head to camp, making some of his siblings scared of him while others brag about him.
During capture the flag, others are terrified if he’s not on their time.
Has and will beat Jun.
He’s prideful and sometimes that can be his downfall.

As a son of Ares, Boun is able to generate a powerful scream capable of causing her opponents extreme pain and discomfort.
Ares favor his sons, but Boun always tell Ares to shove it
But on the other hand, if he hears anyone badmouth about his father, he’d be breaking some bones right there
Boun’s always in trouble with Chiron and Dionysus, but Dionysus doesn’t care- he likes seeing the things that Boun can cause. It brings him amusement.
People don’t like being in public with him.
But anyone with him will basically have a personal guard dog with him around.
Likes laying in the sun, especially on top of roofs.
Sleeps with a weapon in hand.
His love language is wrestling and fighting.
He’s mono, if someone can actually get him soft enough.

let’s go backwards
I just got home from going bowling with my family and their friends...
I saw my best friend’s story of her and other girl friends going out in their cute ass fits and make up and the only thing I wanted more than anything was to look as good and hangout with the hot girl group :’( But I couldn’t because I was with my family and we were going home and that was that. I don’t have the option to do things at my own choosing. It has to have had consultation from everyone I’ve ever met in my life and their grandmothers blessings.
I thought about if I had no rules and no one’s opinion to consider, the only thing I wanted to do was to go out with my bestie and her friends and be a hot girl and have jun flaunting being a hot girl.
Yet, here I was in the back of the family SUV almost at our one way road and I knew I had no choice. I had no control. If it wasn’t my mom, it would be my boyfriend. Which is the perfect segue to transport us to a conversation a few hours ago...
“Okay I have to tell you something and uhhh **** called me at 6 in the morning today because she was in the hospital from being drugged at Ricks last night. Of course I wasn’t awake at that time to answer the call, but she texted me and said she was hospitalized. I hope you’re not mad.”

Another question for the reader, would you have answered that as “Yeah, me too” rather than “Are you sure”. SO you’re probably thinking holy shit she wouldn’t want this girl to be okay? Jesus something really bad must’ve happened and this girl wants revenge.
(Un) Fortunately nothing of that sort has happened. Although maybe it has. It is pretty unclear.
But because I’m writing this, I’ll tell you my side. This girl who’s 7 years younger than my partner has been in love with him and has wanted to use every single use to contact him and to have him by her side. He has. Because they’re good friends. But I think her motive is much more than just friends. But my partner apparently just doesn’t see it. In his eyes, it’s just this nice friend needing his help for the most ridiculous things like borrowing a pencil for her exam that she’s running late to or having him create a playlist blend together because he simply did not enough about metal rock!!! “WHAT? YOU’RE 27 AND DON’T KNOW ABOUT ROCKKK???? NO WAY I AM SO YOUNG AND I LOVE ROCK. IT MAKES ME SUPER FUCKING UNIQUE AND I AM JUST SO DIFFERENT FROM EVERYONE ELSE! am i the only one who finds pei ming scummy in heavens officials blessing?
No lol, the point is that he's a womanizer who doesn't think through the consequences of his actions and routinely patronizes women without considering them as full human beings.
But in true MXTX fashion, he's not inhuman, and he's not a monster who forces himself like say Jin Guangshan. He's just a buffoon who sleeps around and doesn't think that maybe, just maybe, his sexual liberation is actually hurting people even if he's upfront about his intentions and does provide for the women physically. You can't control what they feel, their past circumstances, their desires.
It's why it's great Yushi Huang trounces him in pretty much every way, and doesn't even gloat about it--if she gloated about it, he could hate her, but she doesn't, so he's just left to contemplate how scummy he has acted.
I honestly think the subtext is pretty strong that Pei Ming ends up with a crush on Yushi Huang, a crush he isn't quite able to bring himself to act on because she's too good for him and he knows it; after all, Xuan Ji basically tells us outright in Book One:
“I curse you, you better never fall in love with anyone. Otherwise, if such a day comes, I curse you to be like me, forevermore and for all eternity, to be endlessly scorched by love! Let the fire sear through your entire body and very being!”
“General Pei would like me to pass on a message—’That is impossible.’”
Xuan Ji screeched, “I curse you—!!!”
Listen, almost anything that is stated to be impossible or to be definitely a fact in Book One is later proven to be possible/not the case. Like, Feng Xin is repeatedly noted to not understand women, later he is revealed to have a son, Bai Wuxiang is said to be "already ... extinguished. We won’t mention him again, and even if he still exists in this world, he wouldn’t be the one in the spotlight now," when um, Jun Wu would like a word. Pei Ming having an unrequited crush on Yushi Huang fits thematically because no one has an accurate perception of themselves or of their role in the world at the beginning (Hua Cheng thinks he's a cursed child but hates it, etc.); hence the story undoes all of these perceptions.
If Pei Ming declares that it’s “impossible" for him to fall in love with someone he can't actually be with because he cannot get over himself, destined to pine, well then... that sets the expectation in the story that this is definitely not impossible and is even probable. So I do think this is the a fairly textually supported view and a fitting conclusion to his arc. Of course, since TGCF is fairly optimistic, Pei Ming isn't cursed to be pining forever, but he would have to take massive steps to get over himself, and he takes baby steps by the end. It's a good place to end his arc insofar as the story's themes are concerned: hope he can move forward, still work to be done.

Mochizuki Jun The Case Study of Vanitas Anime da Vinci Interview - pt. 1 -
An interview with MochiJun about Vanitas was uploaded to Anime da Vinci, and while I’d seen a lot of partial translations, I haven’t spotted a full one. This is my attempt. Corrections and suggestions are gladly accepted. The link to the original is at ddnavi, appended with interview/808972/a/. Since the interview is pretty long, I’ll be breaking it up into three parts.
The opening paragraphs of the article are just the same summary/promotional lines from every other official Vanitas source, so I won’t bother translating them again.
To summarize its contents: Mochizuki talks about inspiration for Vanitas and her time in Paris, how she wants to make people want to go to Paris, and a little spoiler.
She conceived the character of “Vanitas” during her first trip to France...
- Please tell us the details of how The Case Study of Vanitas was born. What kind of idea created this work?
Mochizuki Jun: Aahh, how far should I go back... ahaha...? For my next work [after Pandora Hearts] I’d been thinking, “I want to draw either vampires or a school setting~” and I conceived the character of “Vanitas” during my first trip to France. While sightseeing in Mont Saint-Michel, I mused on drawing “the story of a single vampire who’d watched over an island for something like one hundred years.” Everything else about The Case Study of Vanitas came from that one idea, and the general forms of Vanitas and Noé were born there.
MJ: There were a ton of things I thought about doing for my new serialization after Pandora Hearts, like increasing the number of romance and battle elements. With regards to battle scenes... to be honest, when I was drawing Pandora Hearts, the head editor told me to cut down on them since “you kind of suck at this,” and I wanted to give up. I started thinking, though, like “I don’t draw them so of course they suck! If I drew them more, they’d be good!” and frantically studied to improve with every volume. I have to get way better at anatomy and the composition of fight scenes in comparison to my last work... is what I thought.
- What drew you to vampires in particular? If there are any vampire stories you especially like, please tell us.
MJ: I don’t remember exactly what the first vampire I ever saw was, but when I was little I was really impacted by the movie Interview with the Vampire [based on the novel by Anne Rice.] When I watched it, I was captivated by the tragic and fleeting existence of vampires, as well as the blood sucking scenes, so those ideas were planted firmly in my mind. Plus, it probably had an effect on my fondness for stories with a dynamic between a young man and a girl. This is a little off-topic, but it’s actually where I got the name for the Crimson-Shell protagonist. [The two main characters of Interview with the Vampire are Louis du Pont, a young vampire man, and his adoptive daughter Claudia.]
- Why did you choose to set the story in 19th century Paris? What sort of impression did your first visit to Paris leave?
MJ: Paris was the first place I’d ever visited outside of Japan, so I thought it was huge. I’d been invited as a guest to Japan Expo, and my heart wouldn’t stop pounding the entire time I was on the plane. Everything I saw seemed so new. Noé and I shared our kind of joy for Paris.
MJ: Since then, when taking personal trips overseas, I’d pay really frequent visit to this on-site publishing house in Paris. Their accompaniment for every question or problem I had when it came to any aspect of French culture was really helpful. Since I’d been so blessed to have them, I was able to go into writing ready, thinking “yeah, I’m gonna draw a manga set in France!”
- Yamaguchi Ryuu-san, who got his start designing for Final Fantasy, produced some fantastic drawings of the Paris Catacombs and Notre Dame Cathedral for The Case Study of Vanitas. That being said, it’s interesting how your Paris has not the Eiffel Tower, but a huge “Tower of the Sun” in construction to conflict with the real Paris. Please tell us about any difficulties you’ve experienced when drawing Paris.
MJ: I’m always troubled by the balance between “where I should stay true to the Paris of this time,” and “where I should create a false Paris.” I’d be super happy if this manga made someone take the chance to go to Paris. So, I had a strong passion to invite favoritism for Paris, and wanted that “the manga backgrounds should be the same as Paris!” There are falsehoods in my Paris, but the designs were taken from the real, present day world.
- With such names as the unresolved Beast of Gévaudan Incident, the Marquis de Sade, and Dr. Moreau, never before has Paris been made to adopt such an uncanny and bewitching atmosphere. If you have anything that might be a little bit of a spoiler, please let use hear it.
MJ: The Paladins of the Catholic Church draw their motif from the legend of Charlemagne. The characters from Vanitas aren’t actually the same people as those in the legend, but I like to play around with the shared relationship dynamics and character traits. [”Paladins” refer to the twelve highest ranking Knights of Charlemagne from French mythology collected in what is known as the Matter of France- the most famous of these stories is called the Song of Roland.]
MJ: Then, all of the Malnomen have their motifs taken from fairy tales or famous works of fiction [i.e. Loup Garou, based on Little Red Riding Hood, and Naenia, based on the story of Faust.] At first I thought “well, it’s set in France, so I’ll limit myself to stories documented by Charles Perrault,” but by the second volume I’d expanded my boundaries to the Brothers Grimm and was getting my hands on other stories too.
