watching the northern lights 💫 got this fantastic commission by @notenotenotenote3 for my fanfic death doesn't dream
#warrior nun#avatrice#sister beatrice#ava silva#i love it so much!!#thank you again for the amount of work you put into this#i love *the way* you've drawn the northern lights moving across the sky#and how it's covered with stars#fading into a distant purple#the colors are just soooo#and the little fairy lights compliment the piece so well#it's a great interpretation of the scene as a whole#there's warmth despite the grief#there's wonder despite her past#despite the heavy journey she had to make to get here#she finally finds herself not so alone#because she has beatrice and beatrice has ava#and they both have the sky#(aka diego aka the persistence of love)#and with that i will quit my rambling#🫠🫠🫠#thank you.

Is the most heartbreaking line in the entirety of all 11 seasons and 2 movies of The X-Files.
#so much goes into this process that txf didn’t cover#their combined sadness is crushing#i do not think that the writers appreciated the gravity of this journey even a fraction of what it deserved#not only will you battle mutants and deviants and sinister government conspiracies#you’ll battle infertility as well#something so incredibly intimate and devastating#before you even allow yourselves to lean into each other as two people should taking on something this heavy#tbh the show ‘friends’ handled it so well by comparison#it just got me thinking#it needs to be talked about more
