Hey I just recently found your Dragonets of Despair au and it’s really cool! I have a few questions to ask if you wouldn’t mind answering. The first two are a little more spoilery so feel free to skip those.
1. Do any of the dragonets other than Tsunami get redeemed? I’m guessing Clay probably will since he seems to be the least bad of them and understand their faults. But what about Starflight, Sunny and Glory/Flare?
2. For Queen Scarlets champion is it the same dragon as the animus that helped her create it? If so that means her champion is an animus and since Stonemover and I’m pretty sure Turtle are rule out, that only leaves Darkstalker and Jerboa III as living animuses. Is it one of them?
3. Finally the Sandwing sisters. Are they any different at all or are they the same in this au?

First of all, I'm super surprised people are still finding out about my AU (considering it was made about a year ago?) !! I'm really happy you liked it!
1. Tsunami and Clay definitely get redeemed so ill get that out of the way. Glory/Flare is a character i love to explore in my mind and I like to think she has an arc where she accepts her true self but still has some trouble grappling with it at the end. Something major like lying to yourself for the first years of your life don't go away in a matter of weeks/months. I've thought about her meeting Peril and seeing how she's an outcast from the Sky Kingdom despite Peril being a skywing and all. And Glory getting so confused by how Peril is so optimistic even though her own (superior) tribe abandoned her. Also the juxtaposition of cheery Peril + cynical yet smug Glory haha. I think it would be really funny
Honestly Starflight gets the short end of the stick here. I really think he dies or suffers a tragic end. He's really creepy even though he's instrumental in being the voice of reason (he can literally see the future so he keeps them out of trouble half the time). I also dont like how he fell for Sunny (his adoptive sister) in the original haha. Sunny will not get with him not matter what, although that doesn't stop her from using him to get what she wants.
As for Sunny I see her realising how horrible shes been to Starflight and confessing all her lies to Starflight right as the volcano blows up. Like "I'm sorry i did this and i need to tell you the truth so i can stop leading you on" yeah Starflight gets super pissed and fights her after that lol. Does that count as a redemption arc? For sunny at least
2. I kept this a secret for so long but tbh no one can really guess it. It's Orca. But she shows up as a fake SkyWing champion at first, as a dragon named Spinel. I gave her a whole arc and everything. Basically she got found out as an animus pretty early on by Coral and she was used as a negotiating tool in the SandWing war. She grew tired and defected to the Sky Kingdom, where she believes she's more free there than in the Sea Kingdom. Although tsunami does tell her Orca's not as free as she thinks she is, Orca still says that as long as you're an animus, you will always be working for somebody's benefit in some way no matter what. Kind of a sad situation but hey
Looking back at this it was kinda dumb but i had a lot of fun writing it 💀
3. I have honestly not touched them because i love them the way they are.
Sorry if the answers weren't what you were expecting. I wrote a lot of the initial story in a google doc and i returned to it while answering this ask. I forgot how fun that was, might draw them again someday. Thanks for asking!

The very cute gameplay element! If any game offers such option, there is 99% tha i will take it. Aravis from the first game had a monitor lizard named Seviss, Argenta has a jerboa spirit animal named Sparks (and also another unnamed jerboa from Azata path. And probably will have a bunch of little jerboa pups afterwards). In gameplay terms Aivu is animal companion too, and she is ✨The Best✨, that goes without saying!

Probably not the most popular opinion, but i love it and find it enjoyable! I am a fun of such additional gameplay elements :3 The fact that Strategy games are my second most favourite genre after RPG has something to do with it.

Ok this is the ask I assume the prior anon was asking about— if you sent a different one I didn’t get it, feel free to resend, I’ll answer in order under a read more!
1) I’m not 100% comfortable describing how I look but I can tell you I have a rounder face, My eyes are blue, and my hair is dyed a bright obnoxious color most of the time, I’m white and pretty damn pale, I wear glasses, I suppose that’s a face detail too?
2) my favorite colors are black, green, and purple, but honestly I also really like most colors that you could associate with Halloween (orange, red, stuff like that)— also just the general concept of neons— sorry you’re asking for definites from the most indecisive man alive. Anyway yeah given the opportunity I would wear my favorite colors all the time
3) favorite animal… another tough one— I could say jerboas, because they’re funky little guys, i could say any member of the corvid family because look at my blog name, I could say bugs because They’re so under appreciated, I could say reptiles because people think they’re bad but I know better, I could say cats because they’re soft and wonderful, I could say foxes because they’re fun to watch, it’s really hard to say.
4) oh boy, asking for more favorites is just gonna make this more difficult— well I suppose it depends on what frame you’re asking in— in terms of partly humanoid mythological creatures I suppose I could say Satyrs are cool, but if you’re asking for beasts I could go with the classic dragon or with a cockatrice, gryphons are also very cool, but if you’re flat out looking for any fictional creatures, well you know I love Pokémon, but I have a 41 page long document of me going back and forth on which one to use as a persona for a side blog of mine, if you want my favorite cryptid well I like the flatwoods monster and the mothman is pretty cool too. Sorry again, I’m indecisive
5) if I could work at any FNAF location it would probably be the FNAF 2 location, the hectic gameplay seems to suit the kind of thing I’d end up doing also my favorite character Phone Guy was alive at that point
6) favorite animatronic is a tough choice again, I like the Bonnie’s of FNAF 2, both toy and withered versions are two of my favorite animatronics to draw along side Mangle who I also like quite a bit (fun fact you didn’t ask for- of the three times FNAF has appeared in my nightmares, a version of Bonnie has been in two of them, also a custom version of nightmare Bonnie made an appearance in a nightmare I had before FNAF 3 came out— so I suppose that also makes FNAF 4 a likely candidate for where I would be)
7) honestly I would probably want to change suit if I could, not that I don’t like the original animatronic designs, I just feel bad copying pre-existing animatronics, not sure if I’d be cool with sharing a vessel with a dead kid either
8) I’ll be real I don’t really have preferred pronouns, I’m cool with whatever honestly, haven’t found any that feel quite right yet.
9) honestly I’d prefer shorts, but I suppose if it fit well I’d take a dress over pants.

I see that you mostly draw fanart, do you have any original characters?
Yes! I mostly have drawn fanart because Will and Louis are my personal favorite comfort characters and I hyperfixated deeply on them for like three years, but. I do have many OCs. I just don't post about them often since they're usually not related to vore at all, but, I have a few OCs worth mentioning (not counting the very cute jerboa oc I bought recently)--
1. Miki + Cebo, from my unwritten Rivet series!
I'm not gonna post art about them right now because all art with them can be found under the #rivet or under their names on this blog, but. They're very fun! My first ever real vore ocs, based off of south american folklore near the amazon river involving river monsters. I did a lot of research into the location and the backstory put into both of the characters involved with this, but the story itself is largely undeveloped and therefore is sort of on the back burner. I just don't have a lot of energy to put into developing them hardcore yet.
2. The Sisterhood, my paracosm series that is over FOURTEEN YEARS in the making!
It involves alien shapeshifters that typically look Very Similar to normal earth cats, witchcraft, and dismantling oppressive government systems. It's very intricate and currently has four and a half books planned, but I have currently only ever written one chapter for the series as a whole because writing is very hard for me and I get overwhelmed easily. I do have extensive character lists, winding backstories and a LOT of old art I can post of them, though. They've even been featured in a few vore posts here, though usually involving side characters as the main character is fairly young and I don't feel comfortable putting her in a position to be vored unless it is PURELY for protection purposes. I will talk about TSH for hours and I will not stop ever, you can ask me anything and everything and I will answer. I can also give you the link to the first chapter of the series, though it's short and I am too nervous to start writing the second chapter right now.
I would just list off all of the OCs from this that I would be willing to talk about, but that might warrant it's own post. There's a lot of them.
3. D&D OCs! I have a couple of them that I have never once talked about here because the campaign that they're in died down and I invested myself in them RIGHT before I got into Getting in Deep, so I never got the chance to do anything vore wise for them. But. If I ever get the chance to or have inspiration from anything I might try to throw in some fun D&D stuff when I've got time.
4. Seeeeeecret vore OCs! I'm not talking about them yet because they're still in development, but they have something to do with that endosoma thing I mentioned earlier.
I do have other OCs, but, there's not many that I actively participate with at this moment so I don't even know if I remember most of them enough to talk about them. Oh, and, I also draw myself / my fursona doing a lot of silly stuff with vore from time to time, so I guess that KIND OF counts as ocs??? I mean. Look at them.

Fuck it im lonely and tired and wanna gush about ark so im gonna do that ark ask meme today. I know no one sent me asks but i feel like doing it. Also ark genesis comes out soon so i wanna do this before any opinions are changed, so i can look back at this preservation and see if i have made any opinion changes.
PARASAUR: What was your first tame ever?
My first tame was a dire wolf, named Applejuice!! I still have her, actually.
My first actual dino was an argentavis who I also still own. I first played ark on a server, with a tribe, and the first thing they did was make me hatch and imprint on an Argie. I hatched Twins, whom I called Hip and Hop. Hip was the first out of the two I imprinted on and he is. A good boy.
RAPTOR: What tame are you most attached to?
Its a 3-Way-Tie. Applejuice (First Tame Direwolf), Amber (My beloved raptor whom i adore with all my heart), and Furby. Furby i. Really should not be attached to. Furby is a jerboa. Furby will die if someone sneezes too hard at him.
PTERANODON: Was there a dino death that really hurt?
S’more the basalisk. I spent so fucking long taming him, because he just would not agro. He was so calm and mellow, which was what got him his name. In the end, it was his mellowness that got him killed. Someone had whistled all dinos to passive, including S’more, who was chilling beside my house. A ravager spawned in base while I was afk and killed him with bleed damage. It might have been my own stupidity but I’m still heartbroken about it. (Also, its not really my fault? I had him set to neutral, precisely in case something like this happened, but someone swapped him to passive).
REX: What’s your favourite species overall?
Hnkkkkk thats a hard one. Snow Owls, if you pressured me. They’re just. So fucking good holy shit?? Gorgeously designed. I dig the mask and i’m big on owls.
IGUANADON: What dinosaur species would you like to see added to the game?
Minmis. Please. That ankylosaur is a comfort species for me. To the point where i have a very old and worn plush one who lives on my bed. I can’t think of what their use would be, but I want them added so badly.
PEGOSTOMAX: What’s your favourite tame to keep on your shoulder?
Jerboas. Easily. I love those fuzzy lil shits with their soft little faces and round bodies and hoppy hoppy legs.
KENTROSAURUS: Favourite unrideable dino?
Once again, I am answering Jerboa to an ark question.
THYLACOLEO: Favourite ability in the game?
Snow Owl Freeze Heal. Useful, cool, and infinitely useful to fuck over your friends.
BROODMOTHER: What’s the first boss you ever fought?
Well. The broodmother.
ARGENTAVIS: Do you have a go-to mount?
Nyra (Snow Owl) and Lena (Griffon) are my two go-tos! As you can clearly tell, I like dive abilities.
TRICERATOPS: Where did you build your first base?
The first base I got to participate in the building of was next to the Ruins of Nosti on Scorched Earth, in what I call the Theropod Teeth but the Wiki apparently calls Southern East High Desert (boring name imo)
DILOPHOSAUR: What’s your favourite base location on each map you’ve played?
The Island - that little divet in land with a lake in the middle of it, surrounded by rocky cliffs and leading into forests along a river. Its nice, i dont know the names for most of the areas and i cant be bothered looking them up.
Valguero - A little cave under one of the mountains, doesn’t have a good area for water dinos but I do not mind.
Scorched Earth - The Theropod Teeth. There’s just. So much you can do with that area, there’s a decent sized lake, and its cozy.
Abberation - There’s a ravine on the border of where green hits blue, really fun to build on the little cliffs along it and use ravagers and rock drakes to go from house to house. There’s easy access to the river and the blue zone from it, and its just. A good time.
Extinction - We live in a rats hole in the mesh. Its great.
BRONTOSAURUS: Favourite Map?
Every map has its own app- its scorched. Its easily scorched. Like. Easily. Everyone has a home map. Scorched is mine.
DIREWOLF: Are there any species you find yourself “collecting”?
Changes map to map. On the island it was easter event dire wolves, on scorched it was jerboas, on abberation it was shinehorns, and on extinction at the moment its compies.
EQUUS: If you were allowed to play with only three items, ever, (not including structures and food) what would they be?
Longneck rifle, tranq darts, canteen for water. My dinos can compensate for everything else.
GALLIMIMUS: Favourite saddle design?
See this question is difficult because I play with the Eco’s Saddles mod so I am used to weird lookin saddles. I think the argie saddle wins me over for default, something about how it fits over their beak and back is great.
QUETZAL: What was your first ever “big” tame?
A tek rex! We needed one to prep for taking on bosses, and we found one close to max level on the Carnivore Island. We all bundled up our best taming rifles and flew out immediately.
MEGALODON: Top 5 favourite mods?
Eco’s Primordial Saddles, Roleplay Decoration, Structures Plus, Domination Rexes (not useful but very fun) and Classic Fliers. Excluding Structures Plus since thats kind of a necessary one I’d say King Jerboa takes sixth entirely because its a giant jerboa you can ride and i fucking love jerboas.
TERROR BIRD: Favourite mutation you’ve ever bred?
In preparation for King Titan, we were trying to get the perfect gigas going to set on his smaller forms. I bred the first one and lucked out on a melee mutation first try!! Punchy boi fathered all 70 of the gigas we launched at the king titan.
TITANOSAUR: PVP or PVE?
PvE every time. Ark is stressful enough.
LEEDSICHTHYS: Are there any species you dont plan on taming?
Troodons. Which is sad, I fucking love troodons, but it’s not worth it. Its not worth sacrificing my tames. I’m also not that interested in taming Megalodons.
SPINOSAUR: What’s your favourite biome to explore?
Swamps. I fucking love swamps and redwoods. I also like deserts, but is it really exploring if you can see everything for miles around?
DOEDICURUS: Have you built a structure that you’re especially proud of?
Well, my personal house on extinction is an evil office tower. But I loved my house on Abberation. I was so proud of it. It had a veranda and an attic and storage spaces, a massive bedroom for me, a perch for my bulbdog (Mary) beside my bed. It was rlly cool. And it was covered by vines and shit and tucked away on a sneaky little cliff easy to miss.

4. Helping people. Kinda cheesy but you cannot deNy the warm fuzzies you get from helping someone
5. Cold & rainy days. They're the best. You can snuggle up under a blanket and be all cozy while listening to the rain. 10/10 experience

So I received a text on Discord stating the following -
“Hey there. I'd just like to remind you of our rules reguarding language on the server. I know it happened yesterday, but I've only just now had the time to sit and write a response. THe "N" word and any of its various forms are not tolerated, nor is referring to rape in a comedic manner. I know it's not fun to be repremanded, but things like this also make it uncomfortable for other players who want to enjoy this server as well. ---- I would also like to reccommend that you use another base besides [x], as that was meant as a private base for her and her friend only. It's also a good idea to ask if you can borrow her tames in the future as to not cause unneeded issues. I appreciate your understanding in these matters, and hope that clears things up. If you have any questions concerning the rules please ask! But consider this a warning, we want everyone to have a positive experiance on the server! “
Lets ignore the pseudo intellectual aspect of this and move right into the points.
Point 1: I used the word “nizzy.” They asked me not to do it when it happened in-game and I accepted. Not another word about it from me. A bunch of white people telling a Black to not use a variation of “THe ‘N’ word.”
Point 2: They state that I referred to rape in a comedic matter. This was not the case as when they met me I was watching “Okja” on Netflix. A person told me they thought I wasn't funny and I stopped talking about the movie. I had actually referred to the scene of Okja when the Miranda corp. force her to breed with the other super pig. (It’s a fucked up movie.) I was trying to get my Jerboas to breed and I thought there was a glitch.
Point 3: They say that I should leave my Tribemate’s base because it was only meant to be for them and a friend. I had told the Tribemate when I arrived that I only needed some place to store my dinos while I set up my own base in the redwoods. There was a Giga on the Highlands beach at the time and I felt safer in a group. We brought my doedic and the anky and I told the Tribemate they were free to use my dinos for resources.
They also state that I should ASK before using her tames. The person got really pissy when I used their Lightning Wyvern to fly to the obelisk to transfer my Quetz into the Highlands from the Viking Bay. The Quetz was a surprise for them.
When the person joined the server they stated that they had never flown a Wyvern and I gladly let them try both of mine because I was excited to make a new friend. There was my Fire Wyvern and the Lightning Wyvern that I had used to get the Quetz from the Obelisk. (This was a few hours before I used it to get the Quetz because I hadn't tamed that dorky bird yet.)
This super pissy person had also stored my Doedic in THEIR Obelisk. I thought my Doedic was dead so I tamed a new one. I get the Doedic back and I see they've renamed it to “Tatu” without my consent. I'm fine with it but I pretend to be mad in an overly sassy way so they can feel the sarcasm. They then renamed my Anky to “Anky the sweetest” even though they didn't know I was being sarcastic about the anger.
They have banned me from the server. They have removed me from the Discord. The people I thought were my friends aren't answering me. They have taken my hard earned dinos. They backstabbed me when all I wanted to do was be helpful.

My family also calls me “Squirrel”, which I mentioned in one of these tag things eons ago and which @spoonriverrat zeroed in on like two seconds after I posted it, and I’ve been “Squirrel” to her ever since as well.

the first fandom i read fanfics for was twilight LOLLL orzzz, because i was dissatisfied w/ the werewolf content & i liked reading fics about seth… let me live.
the first fandom i contributed to was haikyuu! ;D

i can’t tell if this is ‘pirates or ninjas’ or ‘one piece or naruto’ !?
anyways i love naruto (i honestly have akatsuki themed shoes that are my favourite), but one piece is my BIG LOVE. ٩(*ゝڡ◕๑)۶♥ so pirates.

what the fck is this question. you mean recently uh i had a really fantastic meal in queens the other day, flushing has incredible chinese/taiwanese restaraunts and we went to yeh’s bakery afterwards :’) (theyre a taiwanese bakery w branches in new york and their boston cream pie is legendary even tho it has nothing to do with boston or custard creme, they use their signature freshly whipped cream and their cake is like the chinese roll cakes, so light and fluffy..... ahem,)
