YESSS FAUST TIME
For some basic info about my beloved tav, Faust: he is a tiefling wild magic sorcerer/bard, born and raised in baldur's gate. Before the tadpoling, he worked in a theatre whose troupe was his adopted family since he was a young teen. He's charismatic, good-natured, but much of his Show is an attempt to distract people from truly getting close to him so he can ignore his Trauma 💖
General Questions
5. Are there any instances where your Tav can permanently leave the party, depending on player character actions?
Faust is a good-aligned character, and as such, would definitely leave the party at some point in an evil playthrough. I think if you murdered the tieflings, he'd especially be unhappy and leave, considering he's a tiefling as well.
9. Does your Tav have any escalating conflicts with one of the other companions, like Lae’zel and Shadowheart’s knife-fight?
I don't think he would! He's conflict-avoidant by nature, so while he is boisterous and could get on some of the more grumpy characters nerves, he's self-aware enough to not let anything escalate.
Story Specific
10. How do they react if the PC licks the dead spider in the Gauntlet of Shar?
"Why... did you decide to lick the spider? Actually, you know what, I don't think I'd like to know."
If you choose to lick it again:
"If you die from this, I'll make sure to keep your memory alive in song. The Ballad of Spider-Licker: the Fool!"
11. What do they say if the PC tries to force them to go up on stage with Dribbles the Clown?
"I may be a performer, but I'm not exactly looking to audition to be a clown, my dear."
If you insist on bringing him up:
"Well, if I must, then I might as well show him up."

7. What questions can Zethino ask the PC about Tav in the Love Test?
This was a bit of a hard question to answer but here's what I came up with! I'm not attempting to write them as Zethino's dialogue bc i'm lazy lol
1. What was his favorite role he ever performed?
Answer: Mephistopheles in Faust
"Ah! My first major role, and the play where I took my name from. Before that, I was just the one running around the catwalks manning the curtains and technical equipment. Once I had the audience's attention for the first time... I can't imagine living a different life."
2. What does he desire most?
Answer is dependent on his personal quest. if you encourage him to find a way to control his powers, the answer would be that. if you encourage him to embrace his inner chaos though, and answer would be making a home with you, at his theatre.
3. What is his greatest fear?
Answer: hurting the ones he loves.
"I don't know what I'd do if you were caught in the crossfire of my magic. I already lost... I can't let that happen to you, my love."

1. favorite book of all time
goddd I don’t even know, honestly. Vicious by V.E. Schwab, maybe? it’s the book I revisit the most, at least. the author described it as “Magneto and Professor X meets The Secret History” and that’s still my sales pitch to get people to read it lmaoo
Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia is also one of the most beautiful books I’ve read, definitely a favorite!
8. a book that was overhyped
oooh I love having controversial opinions <3 The Song of Achilles, Shatter Me, and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder were all good enough, but I didn’t love them as much as people convinced me I would
