As mentioned, this project is going to focus on the 100 most banned and challenged books from 2000 to 2009, based on a list from the American Library Association. There are picture books, young adult and middle grade, and a couple of controversial books for adults.
When I post reviews I’ll put the most obvious content warnings (violence, sex, abuse etc) but if you want something tagged, let me know! For example, I’m not currently planning to give drug content warnings, but I’m happy to do it if someone wants me to!

5. is there anyone who can always make you smile? - you 😀  my best mate Iona always does a good job! Avi, quite a few people really...
25. role model - this is really difficult. I’m not sure I have like one role model, just lots of people who I admire and want to be like!
27. things i hate - people who insist they’ve got a “god divined” right to do something. feeling out of control. fucking bananas (seriously why do they exist?!)
28. i’ll love you if… - you’re nice to me..
31. 3 random facts - Did you know that Lewis Carroll was actually called Charles Lutwidge Dodgeson? The national animal for Scotland is the unicorn. When I was 11 I met JK Rowling and have a signed Harry Potter book (thought I’d chuck in one about me!)
33. something you want to learn - I’d quite like to learn Maori! I’d also like to learn how to practice self-care.
