Every year on the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan, millions of Muslims worldwide participate in International Quds Day, a day established in 1979 by the Late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini.
The purpose of Quds Day, named after the Arabic word (al-Quds), is to demonstrate unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle against Israeli occupation.
Large-scale rallies and marches characterize the day. Public figures deliver speeches, often inciting chants of "Death to Israel, Death to America."
Quds Day extends beyond Iran's borders. The 1988 decision by the Organization of the Islamic Conference's Jerusalem Committee ensured public events throughout the Arab world. Countries with significant Shia populations, particularly Lebanon where Hezbollah holds major observances, witness high turnout. Notably, groups like Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad actively endorse and participate in Quds Day activities.
Leaders within the resistance movements view Quds Day as a potent symbol of unity and a message of unwavering support for Palestine. Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, emphasizes that Quds Day instills fear in Israel due to the projected image of solidarity. Michigan's Dearborn, that has been labelled America's Jihad Capital has been witnessing many pro-Hamas, anti-America and anti-Israel rallies.
Chants of Death to America and Death to Israel were hurled at the International Al-Quds Day rally held in Michigan on the last day of Ramadan.
"Imam Khomeini, who declared the International Al-Quds Day, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shouts upon the head of America," Tarek Bazzi, a Michigan-based activist linked to the Hadi institute, said in a video from the rally.
The activist went on to claim that US is "one of the rottenest countries that has ever existed on this Earth," while arguing to eliminate the entire American "system."
"It’s not just Genocide Joe that has to go," Bazzi said, referring to President Biden. "It is the entire system that has to go. Any system that would allow such atrocities and such devilry to happen and would support it – such a system does not deserve to exist on God’s Earth."
When Bazzi asked his audience, when "fools" ask them "if Israel has the right to exist," they chant "Death to Israel" is "the most logical chant shouted across the world today."
The remarks were followed by chants of "Death to Israel" from protesters in the crowd. Soon after, Israeli flag was desecrated at the pro-Palestinian event held on the last Friday of Ramadan in Dearborn.
Protesters were even heard chanting "Free Palestine" and "From the river to the sea," a controversial phrase classified as "hate" by many American Jews.
Dearborn called America's Jihad Capital by WSJ
According to US media Dearborn has become a "hotbed of hate for many years, with the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) Executive Director Steven Stalinsky calling it America's Jihad Capital.
Almost immediately after... and long before Israel began its ground offensive in Gaza,' Stalinisky wrote, 'people were celebrating the horrific events of that day in pro-Hamas rallies and marches throughout Dearborn.'
The city witnessed huge protests against US President Joe Biden last month, with activists from the town encouraging Democrats to vote "uncommitted" instead of supporting the president’s re-election bid.
"This type of extremism, this type of rhetoric, this type of division … threats of violence was a Middle East thing, it seems like a lot of that was limited to the Middle East, and now it’s come to our doorstep," Rep. Phil Green told Fox News Digital
Green said the majority of Dearborn’s citizens are peaceful and don’t promote violence, but he acknowledged the movements bubbling up from the town are worth monitoring closely for lawmakers.

The White House condemned protesters who were caught on video at an Al-Quds Day rally in Dearborn, Michigan, chanting “death to America,” in a Monday statement to the Daily Caller. The chants broke out after one activist, Tarek Bazzi, spoke at the event about past criticism the Al-Quds Day rallies have received for being “anti-America.” Bazzi then went on to add that America was one of the “rottenest countries” to ever exist in the world. The White House reacted to the anti-American language in a Monday statement to the Daily Caller. “The White House condemns these abhorrent and Antisemitic remarks in the strongest terms. As President Biden has said, America is the greatest nation on Earth and a beacon to the world,” Andrew Bates, a White House spokesperson, told the Daily Caller.
Meanwhile, "The White House" stabbed Israel in the back in order to pander to these Hamas supporters and buy their votes.

Today we honor the martyrs of the Deir Yassin Massacre which took place 75 years ago on April 9th 1948. While many historical accounts place the number of martyrs at over one hundred, the International Red Cross placed the number of martyrs at two hundred and the PLO estimated that as many as two hundred and fifty Palestinians were killed during the massacre.
On that day, the zionist “Irgun” and “Lehi” terrorist militias raided the village of Deir Yassin outside of Al-Quds under the command of future israeli prime minister menachim begin with a pre-mediated plan to carry out mass murder. They proceeded to kill as many Palestinians as possible, including elderly Palestinians, pregnant women and children.
It was Deir Yassin and dozens of other massacres like it in 1948 and in the years that followed that accelerated the Nakba and the ethnic cleansing of roughly 1 million Palestinians from their homes and lands.
Reflecting on how terrorism was used by zionist forces to ethnically cleanse Palestine in the spring of 1948 during the Nakba, begin later wrote in 1983, "Without what was done at Deir Yassin there would not have been a state of Israel."
Just over one month after the Deir Yassin Massacre, the zionity entity declared its “independence.”
75 years later, Deir Yassin remains a rallying cry to defend the right of Palestinians to resist ethnic cleansing and genocide and carry on the struggle for liberation and return within our lifetime.
75 years of Nakba
75 years of genocide
75 years of resistance

Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer remained silent after protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, who shouted "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" during an International Al-Quds Day rally were condemned by the White House and local leaders.
The hour-long rally was held in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library on Friday and was led by local activist Takek Bazzi.
In the video, posted by the Middle East Media Research Institute, Bazzi denounced Israel and America.
"Death to America, Death to America," the protesters chanted.
"Death to Israel, Death to Israel," they echoed.
Bazzi said that the chants were in honor of former Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini.
"Imam Khomeini, who declared International Al Quds Day, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shots upon the head of America," Bazzi said.
When questioned by Fox News, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that President Biden condemned the chant.
"Yes," she replied, when Heinrich asked if the president condemned the anti-American and Israeli chants.
"Peaceful protests are something that the president has also been very clear that, its important to give folks space to peacefully protest. But any type of violent rhetoric, we are going to denounce," Jean-Pierre said.
Fox News has reached out to Rep. Tlaib and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer but did not immediately hear back.
Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud publicly denounced the chants, calling them "unacceptable and contrary to the heart" of Dearborn.
"Over the weekend, video emerged of a rally in Dearborn where some attendees were chanting statements that were unacceptable and contrary to the heart of this city," he said.
"We reject all inflammatory and violent statements made at the gathering. Dearborn is a city of proud Americans; the hateful rhetoric heard on Friday does not reflect the opinion of the members of this community," Hammoud wrote in a X post. "The Dearborn community stands for peace and justice for all people. We are proud to call this city and this country home."
Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hadidi, the chairman of the Michigan Muslim Community Council, told FOX 2 that the incident should be investigated as hate speech.
"It is awful for somebody living on our soil, breathing our air, to be saying something like that. The shouting from the crowd… does not represent any Muslim in the United States." Dr. Al-Hadidi said. "It should be investigated as hate speech. Hate speech is very dangerous."

Michigan: Anti-Israel Protesters Chant ‘Death to America’ on International Al-Quds Day
Anti-Israel protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, closed out Ramadan by chanting, “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” during an International Al-Quds Day rally.
Video of the protest went viral on social media Sunday, showing activists condemning both Israel and America in the harshest of terms. Activist Tarek Bazzi of the Hadi Institute said chants of “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” were only logical.
“Why are our protests on the International Day of Al-Quds, why are they so anti-America?” he asked. “Why don’t we just focus more on Israel and not talk so much about America? Gaza has shown the entire world why these protests are so anti-America. Because it’s the United States government that provides the funds for all the atrocities that we just heard about.”
“Imam Khomeini, who declared the International Al-Quds Day, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shouts upon the head of America,” he later added.

Hamas must pay a heavy price for its recent audacious terrorist attacks - opinion
BY MEIR BEN SHABBAT, APRIL 23 2023 03:14
In the face of escalating terror attacks, and at a time of internal tensions which impact on Israel's foreign relations, the Israeli government must act to restore order and control. The current wave of terror is being fed by incitement surrounding the Temple Mount, encouraged by a string of "successful attacks." Israel's enemies see Israel as weak and confused.
Tumblr media
HAMAS GAZA chief Yehya Al-Sinwar speaks at a rally for al-Quds Day (Jerusalem Day), in Gaza, earlier this month. Hamas leaders should fear targeted assassinations by Israel, says the writer. (photo credit: IBRAHEEM ABU MUSTAFA/REUTERS)
Iran is implicated here too. However, it is Hamas that is a central cause of the current terror wave, through its leadership in Gaza and officers stationed in Lebanon. This Islamic terrorist organization wants to ignite all fronts so that Israel's rivals close ranks against it.
Israeli policies at this time must balance between: 1. The desire for freedom of religious worship on the Temple Mount, and the necessity to restrict it from time to time; 2. The need to act deep inside Judea and Samaria in order to prevent attacks, and the desire to reduce friction and minimize casualties so as not to add fuel to the flames.;3. The need to exact a painful price from Hamas leadership, and the desire not to get into fuller confrontation with Gaza at this time; 4. The need to act against each of Israel's enemies, without driving them into a convergence against Israel.
