#Imperial!Tech
I've truly hit rock bottom.
The major complaint with all our delusional takes regarding Tech's survival is that we are taking them out of our asses, but in this case, it is quite literally outta someone's ass.
Look, I don't wanna dunk on my main man, but Tech's got no booty. He is as flat as an airport landing strip in the Netherlands. I don't know what voodoo dark magic Nala Se did to strip Tech of the standard issue clone tushy, because our next possible candidate for Clone CX-2 is Cody, and dude is packin'.
Exhibit 1:

Certified 0° booty.
Exhibit 2:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's a category 10 booty right here ^.
Now, fortunately for us the creatives put Clone CX-2 in a leotard from the waist down, so we got an unobstructed view of the clone's behind and I gotta say, it's some pretty convincing evidence right here that CX-2 is Tech.

Also, I made this account three years ago and have never changed the profile picture before, but today I did cause delusion is swallowing me whole.

Helpless
Hello friends! I'm gonna try to get through a good chuck of Febuwhump this year!
Prompt #1: Helpless @febuwhump
Tumblr media
Warnings: Imperial!Tech. Mentions of needles and implied torture.
--------------------------------------------------
It wasn't the fact that you couldn't move that frightened you the most. Neither was it the blinding lights of the laboratory, nor the frigid metal table that chilled your naked skin. It was the goggled clone who entered into the room behind Dr Hemlock.
"T-Tech?" The words were barely a whisper.
Dr Hemlock chuckled, "I'd like to introduce you to my new science officer. You will be under his care from here on out. I suggest you comply with his direction or things could become rather unpleasant and I don't think any of us want that."
Your heart pounded, chest tightening, threatening to choke you with every beat. You glared, the initial fear quickly succumbing to rage. "Kriff you! What did you do to him, you monster!?"
Hemlock seemed unaffected by the outburst, and simply pressed a small button.
A cry of pain wrenched itself from your lips, jaw snapping shut as a burst of electricity coursed through your body. It was over as soon as it had begun, leaving muscles to twitch as you gasped for breath.
He tutted, "Like I said, cooperate and things will go much easier for you."
He turned to the clone, "Report to me immediately if you find anything useful."
"Yes sir."
Hemlock nodded and briskly turned and walked out of the room.
"Oh Tech..." You sighed with shakey voice, unable to stop the tears running from the corners of your eyes. A mixture of horror and guilt settled deeply in your gut, threatening to poison every thought. "What did they do to you!?"
Tech was silent. He turned to a console across the room.
"Subject is alert and attempting to use emotional appeal to influence the decision making of the chief science officer." He spoke to himself, typing something into the console in front of him.
"Tech!" You shouted, tugging at the restraints,
"Answer me, dammit!"
He was silent for a moment. "Subject appears to be agitated and aggressive. Cooperation will need to be coerced if behavior continues."
"Please talk to me..." The anger seemed to melt, flooding you with a warm, heavy helplessness and heartbreak as he turned to you.
This was not your Tech. It couldn't be. That curious light behind his eyes now deadened into a steely emotionless logic.
"Please..." You pled quietly once again, "Don't you remember me?"
He pulled a metal tray beside him filled with various tools and instruments.
Gloved fingers palpated your inner arm drawing a silent gasp. For a brief fraction of a second your heart jumped at his touch - a body's hopeful instinct seeking that physical connection. Those hands had touched you before, but never so callously - never so cold.
"Relax, this will not harm you. I simply need to collect a few blood samples."
If you closed your eyes, maybe you could imagine that you were back on the Marauder. Maybe you could send yourself back to remember how Tech's fingers passionately caressed over your skin - anything to dull the cold precision of his current examining.
You jerked, pulling against the restraints that held you back. The needle didn't hurt as much as much as the look of indifference in his eyes.
"You used to love me, Tech. Don't you remember?"
He entered something into a datapad and looked up.
"This will go a lot easier if you cooperate."
You pulled against the able again, attempting in vain to rid yourself of this prison.
He regarded you cooly as he walked back to the tray beside the table. "I would advise against that."
"Please!" You pled, tears once again running down your temples, "Use that big extraordinary mind of yours to realize this is wrong!"
He was silent again. You tried to meet his eyes but he simply turned away, grabbing something off of the tray.
"Tech, please!" Your wrists were sore and raw, stinging and burning as the restraints bit at them once again, "I won't let you do this!"
He turned back to face you.
"I do not need your cooperation to gather these results. Fighting me will only make this more unpleasant for you. It is your choice."
He paused, allowing you to consider the options. Anger won over the sorrow.
"Kriff you."
He sighed, "Very well."
A barred restraint snapped across your shoulders and chest and another across your forehead. You felt them tighten - squeezing and pulling - until they allowed not even the smallest wiggle.
"Tech!" You gasped, "Please! You know me! Please don't do this!" Your voice cracked, "Please!"
"Relax, and I will be finished shortly."
"I love you, Tech. Whatever you do to me.... Just remember it isn't you."
A moment of hesitation. A fraction of a nanosecond. A tremor of a hand. One blink and it was gone. As you looked up at him, perhaps there was just a glimmer of sorrow - a single tear unshed and hidden far away. Hope that maybe with time, all could be saved.

Been keeping this under the radar, but hoping a few more people give it a chance. Premise is Tech's chip activates instead of Crosshair's - He has many questions so he decides to write a personal journal as he tries to figure out Order 66 and its effects on him and his squad as well as his place in the Empire. There's some mystery solving as well as recollection of events and self-introspection.

Artblock is killing me lately!!!! Maybe it’s the moon? Anyways - here’s a sketch of something that occupies so much space in my brain lol. Hi Admiral Tech … Couldn’t decide if I preferred the vibe of glasses or no glasses 🤔🤔🤔

Bad Batch Season 3
I was asleep for a good moment. Then I saw visions of Hunter and Wrecker being the ones to die at the end of the season while Omega, Crosshair and Echo are too survive.
another thing is that in another part of my bad batch dreams is that Tech, as CX-2 had Hunter in binds whole guiding him to the shuttle silently before holding a deep conversation with Hunter.
then, Wrecker would seize Tech aka CX-2 much to the latter’s displeasure while, an unusually alive Plo Koon watched!

More affluent older white people jeering and making a mockery of this young person who refuses to be complacent in Google's complicity in the ongoing genocide against Palestinian people. The raw materials used to make their products also depend on exploiting Congolese people -including young children, who mine for cobalt. Google, Apple -any company that relies on suffering, destruction, and death of ANY community around the world needs to be stopped. Keep boycotting. Keep speaking up about these injustices.

oh my god I just had an epiphany
The clone assassin says to Crosshair while they fight "You could have been one of us. You chose the wrong side."
And with the framing of the conversation they had with the first clone assassin it's mostly probably about the fact that Crosshair could have joined the secret ops group but then chose the side of the proto-rebellion, but WHAT IF:
what if the assassin is truly brainwashed Tech and in that moment, some part of Tech that is still buried beneath, managed to break through and Tech just leeches out all the negative emotions and the hurt and the betrayal Crosshair caused them in season 1, and what he says is this:
"You could have been one of us (the batch). You chose the wrong side (the empire's side)"
Of course, I don't think our Tech would then go on to drown Crosshair even if he is still secretly pissed about Crosshair trying to airfry them all like a christmas turkey, but considering the assassins are reprogrammed, brainwashed!Tech wouldn't be above fratricide.

The bad batch, but all inhibitor chips activated. All, but Crosshair's. So now Crosshair is a single dad, on a run from his former family. Rest of the batch tries to hunt down him and Omega.

Star Wars: Imperial Shadow
in light of the third season of the Bad Batch, this is how I will think how Tech potentially operates as the shadow clone assassin known as CX-2, I must remind you there will be angst in this.
After his fall to his near death on Eriadu following his noble enactment of Plan 99, Clone Commando CT-9902 “Tech”, the brains of the Bad Batch and second in command to Hunter is rescued by Dr. Royce Hemlock of the Empire’s Advanced Science Division
however, Tech will have to feign compliance to Hemlock’s wishes!
He is taken to Tantiss on Weyland where he will undergo some reconditioning, however due to Tech’s brilliant exceptional mind it doesn’t work the way Royce expects. Scorch knows this, as he and Delta Squad had history with Clone Force 99 during the clone wars
instead, the reconditioning just made Tech more cunning and smart.
like Tech, Scorch has no choice in what he does and it’s something Scorch really regrets, he doesn’t want to hunt down his rogue brethren but he has no choice.
normally, Tech would leave the handling of knives to Hunter and Wrecker, but with his rigid training to be a Shadow X assassin operative, Tech will find this in handy so that he can know and understand how Hemlock’s Clone X program works and operates
And so, Tech and Scorch will navigate their roles all while masking their true intentions from Dr. Hemlock, Emperor Palpatine and the rest of the Empire!
