Top 5-10 favorite video games?

Preamble to say the only consoles I ever owned were a Sega Genesis, as a kid, and I played a shit out of that with my sister. And an X-Box 360, where I mostly played one game I also owned on PC. I'm a PC gamer.

Going from how much play and replay time I got out of them

10. Bloons TD6 - A simple tower defense game, you can even play this on mobile. It's a fun time killer. Like most games, I feel like, if you're good at math, you'll do better at it. I'm not good at math. But I have fun. I always go back to it when nothing else works.

9. Darkest Dungeon - I actually only have 82.6 hours in this game but the only reason I don't play it more, is, again, I'm bad at math, and not good at it, but I really like it. It is the type of game where suffering is the point tho, so if you're into that, I recommend. Turn based RPG game. Really cool art too.

8. Orcs Must Die 2 - Another tower defense game, but this one is a blend with a shooter. It's quick paced and fun and the characters and orcs are funny. I love this one.

7. Frostpunk - Dystopian ice age city builder. The art is also amazing. Again...math...so...I do what I can...which usually means turning down difficulty but I still love it. It's a bit depressing but...I like that.

6. Banished - Medieval/Cononial periods inspired city builder. The base game is good enough, but I admit I can no longer play without one of he handful of massive mods that make it a lot more involved and rewarding. Also, I like going all agricultural age all over the map. Playing it right now in a borrowed laptop and enjoying it still.

5. Stardew Valley - At first glance I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much but I played the heck out of this during the first leg of the pandemic. There's a lot to do in this game, farming, animal husbandry, mining and killing monsters, making friends with locals, choosing one of the handful of dull villagers to tie the knots with, having babies who never grow up, meeting the wizard, finding the witch hut, sailing to an island with more crap to do. It's a lot of fun. One of the games I miss playing since my laptop broke again.

4. Don't Starve [Together] - Survival games have a special spot in my introvert, lonely heart and DS is one of the first I got into. It's got beautiful Tim Burton-esque art and funny characters and music and it was very spooky to me when I first played it. I probably played the co-op version, Don't Starve Together, longer, because I played it with friends as well as alone because it's doable and DST offers thing you don't have in the regular game.

3. Dark Souls - I actually only managed to get my hands on (it was a gift) this game and try it recently. I gave up multiple times because it's more than challenging. It's hard. Probably not for "pro gamers" but it was for me and I beat it the first time only with the help of a cheaty mod that let me turn down difficulty. I have played it the normal way several times since and it's definitely taught me to play defensively and to actually think about my moves more than any other game. I know it's an oldie, but I love it and miss it since the pooter when poof.

2. The Long Dark - Another survival game and possibly my favorite. You're alone in Great Bear Island (Canada). Probably alone in the world after a geomagnetic storm that took out electricity and nothing works anymore and the world is getting colder. There's a story mode but I actually never played it much, I play survival mode. You can make it as difficult or as easy as you want. It's challenging and you can die from hunger, from cold, from predators, all that good stuff! I am currently playing it in my borrowed pooter.

1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - This one gets the first spot because I've played it, A LOT, in both PC and x-box 360. The replayability for me was great. I played it many times, trying different builds. And yes the game is buggy and glitchy as hell and it's got many issues, but I love it. I love the freedom it gave me to do what I wanted. It countered all of its weaknesses for me. I never had a beefy enough computer to play it with all the best mods, but I dream of the day I winthe lottery and buy the best PC to really beef up this game and play it all over again.

I'm Non-Binary, 5'9 and a lil chubby with broad shoulders. I've got blue eyes with short blue/green hair that's shaved on one side.

I'm a fanfic writer when my executive dysfunction allows me to actually write, but otherwise I'm often playing shooter and rpg video games. Or drawing! I like reference drawing characters.

I'd rather stick inside but if a friend asks to hang out, I always say yes as I crave friendship and am rather touch-starved (friends who love hugs are the best)

I have diagnosed depression, anxiety, PTSD and autism. I often feel like people don't get me, or that they don't care, so I often need reassurance and kind words. I don't often get them tho ^^'

I care a lot about people that I become friends with and often share a lot about myself quickly into the friendship. But I also love hearing about others, and I try my best to relate or comfort them if they need it. I try my best to be as kind as I can be, although some old bad habits from my anger issues pop by and make that difficult sometimes. If I make a mistake because of it, I try my best to fix it. My friends mean so much to me that I'm often afraid that they'll leave me out of nowhere one day..

I love learning, especially random little facts that aren't entirely helpful but are just cool to know. An example is that a type of orange butterflies are called Monarch Butterflies! I love sharing these with people, although I sometimes learn morbid ones that creep them out. Morbid jokes and puns are my sense of humour so it's hard to tell when I go too far sometimes.

I've never dated, but I think sitting out under the stars or inside a car when it's pouring down with some food would be an amazing date. It'd be so relaxing...

I could go on for awhile but I'm not sure if this is already too much, so I'll stop here. Thank you again 😊

I'm 20 yo female (although I've been questioning my identity, tho it's more of curiosity i think). Im considering myself bisexual as well.

When alone, I'm the irresponsible one. But in group for whatever reason I'm the parent one.

I'm an ambivert, so I like time alone but also want to hang out in a group of friends sometimes.

I tend to be tactless sometimes, tho not on purpose. I made my best of friends by weirdest first conversations ever (my epic story about a chicken who sneezed and sounded like an old door) and I like discussing weird and disgusting topic. I have a lot of experience in the fandoms and Im interested in biology and psychology, so there is little that can creep me out tbh.

I have no experience in relationships but I was told that I give best advices on this topic. Perhaps it's because I think logically with no emotions about? I will never know.

If you are my friend, I will die for you.

I love baking (I stress bake and stress cook, ok?), especially things like cupcakes or cookies, tho I will make a big birthday cake or three course dinner. I like experimenting with tastes as well.

I love drawing and I dream of being a digital artist, tho I never took any professional course in my life, being self taught. But who knows.

I also enjoy writing and creating countless scenarios, world's and AUs, letting my mind wander freely with ideas, creating both beautiful and grusome world's.

My biggest dream atm is to be financially independent and to finish my university.

I hate overbearing people (that kind who will try to force to change your mind or won't take the hint that I want to be left alone. Venting and world vomit/info dump are fine, I especially enjoy info dump) and people who don't understand mental illness.

My favourite kind of date?

It depends really, if I'm in the mood of being in public or not, but as long as I'm with person that I love, it's not that important. It can be fancy restaurant, 3am trip to the gas station or eating yesterday's pizza on the couch while lazying around.

For me, physical affection is a must. I'm touch starved person who really enjoys giving head rubs, touching hair (for the texture, nothing kinky). Also, communication. Tell me if something is wrong, I'm not the best at reading hints.

this one was tough because I think there are a couple possible matches but my favourite out of the bunch is chifuyu!

chifuyu is a big sweetheart that honestly will absolutely put your mental health before his. sometimes this can be an issue especially when he's having a rough go, but something about being a solid part of your life and a piece that you know will never abandon you brings him a lot of comfort and also confidence. he's not really one to be all that aware of his confidence issues but something about you makes him a lot more surefooted.
