So without further ado.... Yesterday, I received this figure in the mail :
This particular All Might figure was originally from an Ichiban Kuji that I was lucky enough to find for a fairly reasonable price on eBay.
To put it simply : I love him. A lot. The details are beyond amazing, and he looks soooooo much better in person. Literally everything about him is perfect.
With that being said! I immediately noticed one particular detail that I feel an overwhelming urge to point out and share...

Favorite Thing About Them: I just love this boy who (albeit imperfectly) used his privilege for good - to give to others the love he was so freely given, to defend those more vulnerable than him, to actually risk his life to fight for the people he loved. And yes he saw the world in black and white, yes he had a savior complex, yes he was full of himself. But he's just. He's the kid in elementary school who makes handmade valentine's for the whole class, who is SO friendly to and defensive of the nerdy kid that he doesn’t realize he's actually embarrassing them. He is literally reckless with his own heart. And I just wanna hug him about it.
Least Favorite Thing About Them: Not to be a total simp, but I don't know that there's anything I don't like about him...
Favorite Line: In DH, when Harry asks, "will you stay with me?" And he says, "Until the very end." (I may or may not have the words tattooed on my body.)
BROTP: Sirius Black, his canonical soulmate, imo. The two of them are the definition of "you complete me" and "I found my other half." They love each other so much I think that even when it isn't romantic it is still bigger than any romantic love either of them have. It's obviously close to how deeply James loves Lily, but I think there is a tether between James and Sirius that neither of them have with anyone else.
OTP: Lily Evans, if that wasn't obvious xD They're just…I've shipped them since I was 12, before I knew what shipping was, yknow? They created my bby boy. Even though I ship both of them with other people in different contexts, I never see them ending up with anyone but each other.
NOTP: Snape. Who I only ship with a lifetime of cleaning out toilets.
Random Headcanon: He grew up with Marlene McKinnon. It was her brothers who taught him how to fly. They were each other's first kiss when they were like, 6, even though they never really liked each other that way. It was one of those things where you know each other as children but somehow it doesn't translate when you get older and find other friends - until they were in like 6th year and the war started feeling really real and it brought everyone closer. When he found out she and her whole family were killed, he went to a very dark place.
Unpopular Opinion: Er… I don't know if I have an unpopular opinion on him? It also depends on the part of fandom I'm talking to, lmao. The one thing I can think of is one I know some people share: that James wasn't that bent about The Prank. I think he was frustrated, but I don't think it put a rift between him and Sirius in any way.

I'm trying to watch Athena P lore videos because god are they entertaining and so funny. But here's some shows/movies I would love a lore deep dive on and why:
Inspector gadget reboot - the 'romance' between penny and Talon was so confusing yet endearing. Also, loving how chief Quimby just Disguises himself just to give gadget a misson
Total drama - not only was it a huge fan of gross out humor and has our overlord chris mclain, it literally introduced me to the ' bad boy x good girl' trope before ripping it out and taking a character ( who was literally perfect with another) and forcing them together due to aesthetics.
Transformers: robots in Disguise ( 2015) or Transformers prime - two shows that have fanbases debating ( seriously), each saying why each respective show is better. But other than that, both are fine for what they are and gave me two crushes that I hold dearly.
Mia and me - a fairy show that's not only animated but live action? With the main character having an ability to talk to unicorns? And with one of her bullies DISCOVERING HER SECRET LIFE??
Ben and hollies little kingdom - super wholesome and I love how the humans coinside with the fairies
Max and ruby - there's a tiktoker who made a whole series on why ruby was annoying. Need I say more?
Trollhunters and the spin off 3below - honestly from what I remember, I loved the stakes of the show and how cool the Armour the main character had. Regarding the spin off, loving how the bully I think was into the alien girl
Max steel ( not the 2000s one. sorry) - Max having to come up with the most unbelievable excuses as to why he has to go is cliche but also kind of funny? And the fact that the company Max's dad works for has lore as well is kind of interesting
Dino squad - I actually remembered this show through a cringe compilation of all things and had to add it. From the theme song, to the plotines, to the fact that I had a crush on Laruzo even though he was obviously queer coded ( his Dino form was cool though)
Jem and the holograms - the I am a giant song from the misfits lives in my head rent free. Also, jem practicing trying to reveal to that one guy only from him to yell at her is funny to me
Lolirock - same with jem as revolution is iconic as well as the villians. Plus, why is was eventually taken off
The tinker bell movies - forgot I was supposed to mention movies as well ( sorry). But I love them and how the fairies each have their own abilities ( as well as different kinds). From pirate fairies to winter fairies, it's really cool.
Barbie: a fashion fairytale - I love all barbie movies equally but this...this just takes the cake. What other movie will you see ken making a child cry, fairies with attitude, rotting dresses, and a roller skating aunt?
Zoom (2015) - the trailer showing a scene of the main character and her character arguing is honestly what made me want to watch it ( I haven't but I'm planning on it)
Super hero squad - kid me was laughing my butt off when falcon married his bird. So...
The little prince movie - I didn't even read the book but when I saw that the old man had died, I was emotionally devastated, especially after listening to all his stories which inspired the main character to go find the prince UGHHH
The book of life - is it cliche? Yes. Is it like coco? Yes. Do I like that in the end, the main boy has to sing a guitar version of creep to calm down a bull? Absolutely yes!
Epic - josh hutcherson, beyonce, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny knoxville, an enemies to lovers storyline, a snail, a royal guard having a love for the queen, the enemies being bugs, and ANDD a nerdy dad. That's it.
Rise of the guardians - I absolutely love it followed jack and his arc of being seen and when he finally is, the kid and him are just so excited! Also, the fact that a lot of people are simping for the Easter bunny is a testament to how many people will call anyone sexy.
Daniel spellbound - wanted to add this because there's an awesome creator ( cough cough @bonkalore) who's made an amazing au out of this show and I wanted to see what you thought of it and your theories
Bonus options ( just random one's I think could fit): the rainbow fairies series, Lego friends, the complicated life of Claudia Christina Cortez, sonic underground, drama or sisters ( but any book by rainia would be great), Junie b Jones, stoked, barney, goddess girls, glitter force ( that's what I remember it as), invisible sister, a monster in Paris, Maya and miguel, and Martha)

Ok so the first episode of Only friends was... Something. I think I've missed a lot because I skipped most of the sex scenes, especially that one👀. (Boston really is That Little Bitch, uh?)
Anyway, for now it kinda feels like every character/couple is in a different genere, like:
SAND is living in his own Richboy/Poorboy Power imbalance drama, with Sand who is just SO DONE with everything (I expect nothing more than a trgic backstory, my man. I want to see this man drowning in a pool of his own TEARS). And now he has to take care of this random ass richboy and he is just so DONE
RAY is just a little sad boi. Really, he is like the ultimate friendzoned friend (I think he likes Mew), who has self esteem issues but is a little bitch nonetheless.
TOPMEW fells like those High school dramas where the popular guy is just a dick who wants to screw the little nerdy sunshine, so he gets closer to him just to break his heart afterwards. I'm pretty sure that's his plan, I'm not buying the "I want to date him, He's interesting" even for a second. Altough I have this feeling that in the end Mew will take revenge on him, maybe after Top broke his heart(?) That or Mew is the Evil mastermind who is manipulating Top Rich Fuckboy into becoming a Malewife. I would like either way.
BOSTON is just THAT BITCH. My guy is Shameless. He is like one of those edgy "fuck them all" guys who are like "I dom't belive in love and sex is all I care about, look at me I'm so sexy and so full of trauma bruh" (I'm just convinced that Boston has something more to show than just his dick, I know it) and his little patetic thing with Top is just so Simp, it smells toxic, it's going to be interesting.
NICK is Guy from Fanfiction who falls for Edgy "Fuck them all" guy who is living the dream and then will be burned because "Fuck them all guy" is just a bastard. Sorry Nick you seemed sweet.

Characters:
Itadori Yuuji
I like to quote this post by @/lets-curse-each-other a like the starter explanation to why Yuuji is an absolute masterpiece as a character and also the best boi. This post not only shows the peak of the iceberg that is Yuuji's personality but it only hints who much attention Gege gives to his characterisation.
I also love Yuuji because he's written in quite a unique way for a protagonist of a shounen manga, ie. more like a shoujo manga protagonist, and I wrote more about that here. His character journey is absolutely stunning, at every point his teenage beliefs that he developed to deal with his loneliness and the loss he has suffered, get questioned, rhetorically and generally attacked. He constantly needs to deal with his worldview and coping mechanisms being shuttered. And he still manages to be caring, to retain so much of himself.
And lastly I like his character design, it works really well both when he's really cute and when he's taken to his limits.
Kenjaku
They are the absolute fucking worst. They are an amazing plotter, like on a reread it's absolutely stunning how well their plans are prepared, how we see them perfect said plans. I have massive, massive respect for Kenjaku as a villain. They are such a manipulative lair. During my first reread I started compiling a file with all their scenes where I wrote whether I thought that they were lying in that scene and how because my ADHD wouldn't let me sleep, I kept thinking about them.
I love their mad scientist vibes, it's so sad no one wants to listen to them explaining their evil plans, and no one wants to nerd out with them about cursed energy (I'm looking here at you Tengen and Sukuna). Though to be fair, they kill the person who'd've likely been the most into such nerdy conversations, namely Yuki.
Of course it matters to me that they're Yuuji's mum. That makes their character even more juicy and horrible. Their whole twisted connection to motherhood is chefs kiss.
Nobara and Hana
I'm putting them both here together, despite them never meeting in the manga, because for me they both embody the awkwardness of being a teenage girl just on the opposite sides of the spectrum. There is a lot of societal stigma put onto teenage girls. Starting from how they should be.
Nobara is trying to define womanhood for herself while also clearly not being versed in issues of modern feminism. it feels very fitting for a girl her age. Some of the things she likes that are appropriate for girls from the society's point of view and some that are not so much, so she lands at girlboss feminism.
I also love that her reason for joining the Tokyo school is very much not jujutsu oriented. She's not there because of the politics of the clans like some many other students, or because it was join or die.
I hope that Nobara returns, though I'd be also okay with Gege just letting me grieve her at this point.
Hana is trying to orient herself through a crush she has on a guy who saved her life long ago. A guy she doesn't really know but she has created an image of in her head, it's a purely parasocial relationship so many teen girls have. Now I think Hana will be on her journey to reorient herself, build her self image outside of Megumi.
I low key hope that Yuuji will pop Angel's soul out of Hana and set her free, Hana not Angel, that 1000yo selfish sorcerer should join her ilk in the dumpster of history where they are all hopefully headed.
Yorozu
She's a rabid Sukuna simp so like mega relatable ;) But more seriously I love her powers, how much thought she put into them. She's an amazing jujutsu nerd, another friend Kenjaku could've had if they put her in a different body, one Sukuna wouldn't want to kill.
I love her creepy wedding plans but most of all I love that she's pursuing Sukuna for status. The things she wants of him are so appropriate for a Heian woman to want. It's a really cool bit. And she has the classic het relationship energy of "I can fix him". That's why you don't indulge in heterosexuality, kids.
I wish she actually joined the villain cast and remained there longer, she had amazing energy.
Sukuna
Another jujutsu nerd, but he's like embarrassed of it or something because he pretends he's not one. He's very above that nerd shit but also that's how he is the strongest and how he wins fights. He's amazingly not self aware. It's the same with his being so detached when he's very clearly capable of having really healthy relationships with others like he has with Uraume. He just chooses not to. He does have a bit of an edgy teen vibe which is funny in a 1000yo guy. Maybe that's why he's so irked by Yuuji. ;)
I absolutely love how he fights. He puts on a feral demeanor but underneath he's full on analysis and calculation.
He also makes the second best faces in the manga second only to Yuuji.
And his original form is very scrumptious, very thirst-inducing.

Cho Sangwoo - Squid Game: My misunderstood boy, he did what he had to do to survive 🤷♀️ his actions were unethical yes, but there were no other options. Truly a morally grey and complex character (and I know Gi-hun and him dated in her past)
Raul Leon - Control Z: I know he's crazy and that he's a yandere but he has layers you know and I can't resist him, sue me I suppose 😂
Korean Professor - Money Heist Korea: I don't know why for some reason I like him better than Spanish professor, don't get me wrong, Spanish professor is awesome but I prefer the Korean one because he's more collected, composed and calculating. He was also kinda relatable 🤷♀️
Chisjen Avasarala - The Expanse: She's THE girlboss, and the true queen of Earth, she gets things done and has an unparalleled elegance, a true diplomat too, no choice but to simp ❤️
Todd Madison - Love from outer space, Romance Club: The other love of my life ❤️ my soulmate, he's as nerdy and as geeky as me and his humour? unprecedented ❤️ (he's the kind of guy I'd fall for irl, along with Ratan)
Gaius Augustine - Bloodbound, Choices stories you play: At the beginning I couldn't stand him. But then after seeing his redemption arc and the reason why he became like that, I started seeing him in a different light and he became my favourite character in Choices 🤷♀️
Colin Ritman, Black Mirror Bandersnatch: He's just so cool, his attitude, his style, his voice, everything in him is so cool, EVERYTHING and he gives off an aura of confidence, definitely one of the coolest characters I've ever seen, makes my knees weak 🛐
Yagami Light - Death Note: Sorry (not really) but #TeamLight all the way. Yes, he's a literal psychopath but he's very smart, complex and an overall well-written character and I can't resist that type of character 🤷♀️
Some of them are villains, some others are morally grey, some others are downright deranged, while others are anti-heroes but they're still my comfort characters. I connect so well with the fictional deranged I suppose 😂🤷♀️

Another reference sheet out of my way. Oh boy.
Meet Dezel, a nerdy indie-game developer. He is the epitome of that weird, kinda creepy and pervy online nerd that watches too much hentai for his own good xD But in all seriousness - he is super into video games, roleplaying games and knows all the big names of videogame culture. So it is not a big surprise that he uses his programming skills to make his own indie horrorgames. His latest work even got quite successful, which he published under an alias as to not be associated with his own work.
And all his earnings go towards one thing: Garys Onlyfans. Yepp, he is a huge, HUGE simp for Gary, obsessed with the femboy cat being sexy and cute online. The worst thing? Yeah, it SOUNDS whacky, but I promise those two are actually very cute together, despite Dezel being the biggest creep on the planet. He adores Gary, and Gary loves being adored. As you can see almost everything and anything, and then some probably that I've not had the fortune to read yet.
Essentially, I'm all over that fucking Tomione bingo card in what I want to read and what most people could come up with. I will say lately I've been on a magical world kick, so I've not read as many muggleAUs lately. At this point its easier for me to say what I don't read rather than what I do and will if time and life will allow.
I tend to like a very wide range of Toms. He can be extremely evil, like so dark I'm upset with him and myself for still loving him. Because I do love to read a dark and disturbing Tom from time to time, one that almost makes me question my ship. I will read and enjoy snake-faced Tom or pretty boy Tom; I'm long past seeing them as separate entities at this point. However, I'm not limited to only liking dark Toms. I love setups in a reverse scenario where his deeds/misbehavior can be seen as slightly good or somewhat redemptive. I am okay with redemption stories, because as a person who grew up with fairytales; I do like a HEA. I like to keep things mixed up, which is why I love the variety to this ship. I am not too much of a fan of overly fluffly stuff; I prefer Tom have a bit of edge. He can simp but I don't want him too mushy.
As for Hermione, I do love when she's a bit of a bossy swot. Confident and self-assured is my favorite type of Hermione. I like BAMF Hermione's a lot. I admittedly can do a range for her, but my least favorite Hermiones are when she is a doormat in a fic. She has to have some spine and self-respect; if she's too mild-mannered or takes too much of Tom's bs without putting up some manner of fight or defiance, that really kind of pushes it too far out into ooc for me to enjoy. Admittedly, I am not usually into pureblood Hermione, since I love the complication and complexity her blood status brings with her being a muggleborn as her back story.
Also I'm a bit of a monogamous shipper. I'm a jealous, possessive person irl, so it's hard for me to have people I ship be super open and sharing. It's something I'm trying to work on, but it's probably main reason I mostly read this ship only. It's a fault I know, but I'm working on branching out. I have sort of gotten to the level of being okay with triads.
Anyways, sorry to anyone who read all this, I got bored. This shouldn't really even be on Tomione Finds. My apologies. This should be on my personal blog, as I don't know how we'd get the whole of all the admins to try to contribute here when we're all on so infrequently as it stands already. Just a reminder, this is just one person's preference and doesn't represent the whole of the team or any sort of guide as to what anyone else should read. Oh jesus there are so many and I'm brain farting on all of them. I need to have a think...
Let's start with the obvious because he's who this tumblr is about.
My sweet baby boy Peter Parker (tasm version but all Peter Parker's are precious to me):
Why? He's angsty, he loves to self flagellate, he blames the world's problems on himself, he's an introvert (now that I think about most of my fav characters are probably angsty introverts) he turns into a giddy nervous idiot around the girl he loves, he's sassy and cocky and stubborn and a bit of an ass at times, he's also a mushy little lover boy who simps hard for his ladies, he's a mommas boy (well...aunties boy), he mourns his losses hard and doesn't know how to get over them, he destroys personal relationships in misguided attempts to protect his loved ones, he's a perfect baby and can do no wrong and I love to turn him into a serial killing monster in my fics.
My second favorite sweet baby boy Spencer Reid:
Why? He's another sad angsty introverted baby. I have a type. A gentle personality with an intense drive to protect his loved ones. Is self sacrificing. Would give up his life and safety in a second to save a stranger. He's a literal genius with an eidetic memory. Much like Peter Parker he would be an absolute simp for his ladies. He just wants someone to love him for himself and not have to watch his love get shot in the head in front of his eyes and traumatize him forever. Is that too much to ask for this poor angel?? Omg him and Peter really are a lot alike. So much trauma.
My favorite vampire hunter Guillermo de la Cruz:
Why? I love that he started off being a timid pushover who's only dream was to become a vampire. Then he transforms in the most badass, gay, plus sized serial killer/vampire hunter. I'm pretty sure he's a sociopath. He's an evil bitch who looks like a sweet cherub in a grandpa cardigan. He has killed and will kill again to get what he wants. He will manipulate anyone and take control of his own life. I love him. I love that even though his morals are reprehensible, you still can't help but be on his side and root for his success in whatever nefarious scheme he has going on.
I should put this shit under a read more. I'm getting carried away and now I can't stop.
My heart and soul April Ludgate:
Why? I would die for Aubrey Plaza. April is my favorite weirdo. She's a mean, harsh, scary, sarcastic bitch on the outside but a nervous, self doubting, awkward, loyal baby on the inside. She is a queen and deserves the world. And she adopted a three legged pitbull named Champion. She gave birth in full zombie make up. She's a Halloween loving freak. Her friends become her family. She's a ride or die kind of girl. She is perfection.

Why? Why not? Look at him! He's lovely! He's an 80's outcast nerdy metal head who sells pot to his peers out of his lil lunch box. What a hero! People love to discuss his sexuality. To throw my hat into the mix, personally, I think he's pansexual. I think he would straight up fall in love with anyone who gives him an ounce of kindness and attention. He's a little dumb scaredy cat with a heart of gold and probably chain smokes himself to sleep every night. 10/10 would ride him deep into the night. He might of died young (in the dumbest way ever like the dumbass that he is) but he will always live on in the fics I create in my headspace as I go to bed each night.

Michonne from the Walking Dead:
Why? I would let her behead me with her katana without a second thought. She's the most bad ass bitch on that show (granted I haven't actually watched the show in forever, I stopped after Carl died, but I still adore those first handful of seasons). Like most of my other idiots on this list, Michonne is a quiet introvert who is fiercely loyal to people she considers family. She doesn't say much but when she does, it's important and you should fucking listen. She's intelligent, crafty, knows how to survive, and is stronger than any man on that show. What's not to love?

Bro I am straight up simp brain moding out here for the most generic nerdy white boy ever and honestly??? Wouldn't change that for the world. He's a little cringe, sure, but I'm cringe. And let's be honest, I need **** and ****** from a guy who's cringe. He's also proven to be a caring person, trying to keep me out of trouble with our managers and checking I was alright after I was messing with the first aid kit. We're just coworkers, not even friends, but those moments of kindness really stick with me. He also gave me so much fucking shit about liking Twin Peaks, calling it mid, just because he knew it would rile me up. And he is just generally smiley (and possibly flirty?) with me.
I want to grab his face and kiss him, hold his big fucken hand that absolutely would envelop mine, and just laze around watching anime with him.
