y’know maybe I should just try to continue working on my fics

Back in Far Harbor gang… I get they probably didn’t want to extend a cutscene where the player had no control out too long, but I do wish in the Acadia meeting that you can eavesdrop on they brought up Nick 😭 but they do Not so here’s me making up scenarios. The Usual. 😏

ok. went to the fabric store today and successfully hemmed my depop velvet pants and successfully sewed the tiger to the jacket and successfully bought fabric glue because i need to admit that i have to take some shortcuts in order to make my life easier. i simply cannot hand sew the rest of my appliqués. everyone was very suitably impressed with my Vision™ and had many compliments 👼🏼 i had to hem the pants twice because the first time i didn’t cut off enough fabric so now i’m basically an expert 💅🏼 i also got to use a coverstitch machine for the first time and by god those things are amazing. also i got a burrito from my favorite taqueria bc i was in my old neighborhood and now i’m going to EAT IT!!

#i always forget how nice it is to use a sewing machine!! so easy!!!#sergers also my dream. love those guys #there’s a lining in the pants and i just serged the shit out of them bc no one cares if there’s a nice hem on the LINING!! so fast and easy #i need to make use of the sewing store more often bc the studio time rate is honestly very reasonable #and the place is full of the nicest machines in the world (berninas)#and it’s so nice to have a big table and irons out and hot and sergers… so good. love it #the nicest thing about working there was being able to use it all for free #photo record #now i just need to glue a bunch of stuff #and i’m going to try to dye a vest pink tomorrow as a top option #but i also might just do black… still to see……..#do i have some kind of crafts tag #crafts tag #??#art tag #i guess
