If I had a nickel for every time I’ve gotten unfairly invested in a ship that’s canon, heterosexual, and has a woman that’s blonde for at least part of the time and played by Jennifer Morrison, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

i know this scene is notoriously awkward but like. knowing elias' character now and looking back, personally to me this scene is really just giving "new puppy! this is your house! this is where you eat! this is where you sleep! this is where you bathe! this is magic! those are fairies! welcome home!!!"
for a guy who is considered so stoic and uncaring by literally everyone else, he seems real talkative and excited to have some new company
was going to keep these in the tags but they got too long sorry lol

it is, frankly, criminal that no one has really gone into detail about what would happen in the imposter au if only the archons knew who you were..like, makes sense!! because they are archons, those closest to celestia. but the implications of an archon, who are usually very protective of their nations, having to fight them to protect the Creator because no one else sees you for who you are?? thats the good shit
Tumblr media
like the difference of how archons who pretend to be normal people (zhongli + venti) would handle it vs archons who still directly rule over their nations (nahida, ei, tsaritsa) is *chefs kiss*
#sagau#genshin sagau#genshin impact sagau#sagau imposter au#zhongli#ei#venti#nahida#tsaritsa#did i write this just to psychoanalyze the tsaritsa again??? maybe#but i want 2 talk abt ei first bc. ma'am#unarguably the safest with ei. definitely one of the strongest (currently. we dont know abt previously) archons.#+ its. yknow. ei. miko would probably believe her scatterbrained gf and help you at least somewhat#but everyone knows the shogun. they know how strong she is. she'll have no trouble taking out any combatants who try to harm you#i mean sara got beat up by signora. she wouldnt really stand much of a chance against ei. but she might also be persuaded bc. well#shes still loyal to the shogun. it would take some EFFORT but you could maybe turn her to your side.#BUT THE TSARITSA......lordy#we dont have an accurate measure of her power but all it would take is just yoinking the gnosi and fucking off w you in tow#like harbinger or not its. the tsaritsa. with a bunch of gnosis.#shes going to punt each and every one of them like footballs into the afterlife#but its abt the DRAMA. shes suddenly lost everything shes worked so hard to build......just bc you popped down to teyvat for..what??#fun???? just to watch her suffer??????#she is not Nice but she isnt. that mean. shes just bitter and a little pissed that her harbingers kinda made her abandon her own NATION#bc they have rocks for brain apparently. shes firing every single one of them when its all over#i just think its funny making the one character directly against Celestia have to take care of a dumbass g-d after fleeing her own nation#all bc you just had to descend to teyvat (she is ignoring that u got eebied there against your will. give her a week okay)#tsaritsa having the worst time of her life babysitting her g-d whos too gay for their own good (stop running at the acolytes)#also i think zhongli's reaction would be funny bc he JUST got done handing liyue to the people......and now their hunting the creator#hes too old for this. he just wanted a nice retirement after being an archon for too damn long.#LET THE MAN REST

why didn't anyone tell me that Hannibal is a comedy
#its absolutely Absurd lmfao#'you wouldnt like me psychoanalyzed' SIR????????#what is he??? autistic hulk??? s i r ?????#i really didnt expect them to reveal Yeah Hannibal is The Cannibal literally in his first appearance#i thought it was gonna be like... Hinted at... maybe the reveal is in the season finale or a later season#NOPE. they were immediately like 'yeah heres our main villain. hes a therapist. everyone likes him. hes so sus but no one picks up on it'#and then. fuckin. will didn't make it One Episode before eating human meat#will describing the 'copycat' killer's work as Art etc & then we cut to hannibal smiling at this description#motherfucker isnt slick. this is hysterical#every five minutes theres a reference to the copycat or cannibals or whatever#and immediately theres a shot of hannibal standing off to the side like 🧍#HES SO FUNNY AND FOR WHAT#absolutely unprompted#god and hannibal. like. bringing link sausages to feed will's dogs. what in the cartoony ass villain fuckery is this#its Also funny how like three different people - including hannibal - are trying to rizz up will#so far the only one actively succeeding from what i can tell is hannibal#and then - then fuckin. will is all like 'i feel responsible for abigail 🥺' and lowkey hinting that he wants to take care of her#smash cut to hannibal making her his murder kid. the fuck. hes so transparent#hannibal 'abigail is a bit like both of us<3' lecter#and him continuously having dinner with jack and jack being like Ohhhh This Dinner Is So Good Whats The Meat#hannibal: *suspicious pause* rabbit#theres just so many funny moments from all of the characters#all functionally unintentional. but still. love this show#i was gonna finish naruto or watch warrior nun but fuck!!! didnt do that!!! watching the gay subtext cannibal show!#literally in the first ep when will was like 'this guy is killing and eating women bc he loves them' i was Immediately like#ohhhh so this is like A Killer Per Episode show. bc theres no way thats hannibal lmfao#also jack and wills dynamic... jacks like 'this is my special little guy <3' and then points to will whos huddled shaking in the corner#this show is so entertaining. i expected it to be boring. its fuckin weird and i Like It#i hope it gets sooooo fucked up. cant wait for hannibal to really lean into the manipulation to convert will to Murderism. its already begu

you could make a case that Blaze and Satanus want the Rock of Eternity not because they need it for anything, but because it's the only thing left that Shazam could give them. he's denied them care, affection, guidance, and he definitely doesn't love them, so what is left to take but his power?
even if Shazam had raised them, he most likely would not have given them the Rock of Eternity. that space is reserved for his champion. but they feel that they're owed something from him, and at this point it doesn't really matter what that something is.
also if you're running with the idea that Billy was orphaned as a result of a relative cheating him out of his inheritance, it makes for a nifty parallel.
I think this is a really good way to look at it. And a great way to add nuance to their characters.
A lot of Blaze and Satanus's anger at Shazam stems from his rejection of them and the deliberate refusal to give them what they believe is their birthright as his children. It think it makes a lot of sense that those feelings are compounded by the fact that Shazam made the choice to deny them any affection, condemning them because he sees them as inherently evil because of who their mother is.
At the heart of a lot of the evil the two of them do is this need to prove themselves, to prove that they are as great if not greater than their father. Controlling the Rock of Eternity is equal parts a power grab and a middle finger to Shazam. Which is why they are doubly angry that some random human child was granted the one thing they believed Shazam could give them.
And not for nothing, by rejecting them at birth, Shazam all but guaranteed that they wouldn't have any good influences in their lives, which made his belief that they are evil a self-fulfilling prophecy.
And I absolutely love the parallel you've drawn here with Billy and Ebenezer! It's such a good way to create understanding and empathy between them! Billy may initially see them as pure evil (as Shazam had) but this may be a way for him to understand that things (and people) are so rarely black and white. Even if that empathy doesn't go both ways, Billy would know what it's like to have someone who was supposed to care for you take everything from you at a very young age and would try to make things right.

At what point do lives become so intrinsically connected, that it impossible to live without the other?
When living is the equivalent of needing to breathe, and when they’re gone, so are your lungs. But, you can’t die, not technically. Some otherworldly force keeps you alive, forces oxygen into your blood, forces your heart to beat at a normal pace. But you’re standing there, suffocating, starving for something, someone, but they’re gone.
You’re alive, but not living, because how can you live when you can’t breathe in the most literal sense of the word.
When do people become so intertwined with each other, that it isn’t an emotional turmoil that is an ocean to swim across. When hurricanes, and typhoons keep pushing you away from land, but there is land. It’s hard, it feels impossible to do, but you have people throwing life savers and beckoning you home.
When does that ocean of mourning become the universe? Endless, empty, and so cold. There is no end to the typhoons and waves pushing you away from land, because there is no land. It is just space, and you’re there, without your anchor. At what point does the loss of a connection become so utterly hopeless that there is no end. There is no grief to overcome, or hardship to endure. There just is.
Are these interwoven lives even possible for humans? We live such blissfully short lives, and there are billions of people on Earth, and the one thing we all have in common, is that we live for but a blink in the long eternity that is the universe. There is comfort, and distress in those notions, but it is an irrefutable fact, that there are billions of people like us in that one way, and trillions that were.
But what if we lived longer, what if we outlived the tortoises who clamber from their burrows, or the whales who live for hundreds of years, or the clams who can live for thousands. What then? Would we still be human? Would we ever be able to achieve this conformity, this, love, whatever form it may take.
I don’t think so.
We still all live the same life spans, we die, though it takes longer, but that merely allows us to live slower, grieve longer. But with grief comes recovery. Grief is an ocean.
Hopelessness is a universe.
But what if you lived, without a set expiration date. You lived forever. You couldn’t die, save for an unfortunate accident that can be avoided. You can hurt, and cry, and laugh. But death isn’t an option. You live, you aren’t human, but you are among them. They laugh too, and smile at you, but you’ve met millions of humans, and none of them have known you long enough to know your life. It would take their entire lifespan to recount the events of yours. It’s lonely, but you have no choice. But there is one other, who is as eternal as you. You’re very different, but thousands of human generations leaves the only two who can truly talk together. You know that they are the only one in all of existence who can understand you. The only being who you can truly love because no human lives long enough for the emotions to form.
What happens when they’re gone? Is there grieving to be done? Should you swim to land, through the troubles and turmoils of loss because the only being who could ever understand you is gone. Or are you in the universe, never, ever able to heal and forever floating.
What happens when you’re alone in the universe? And is this reliance on another being unhealthy? A severe co-dependence that you should be wary of. Or is it inevitable? Being so thoroughly intertwined with another being because they’re the only one.
I don’t think humans are capable of this. We always have something in common with one another.
We die, and we die fast. And despite everything, we’re never alone.

the post where i compare sawashiro and mine
venn diagram for the sparknotes version of this post but i'll also clarify potentially confusing points + exploring the designs of their office spaces and how it relates to their characters under the cut so i can explain my insanity
Tumblr media
definitely enabled by my recent back and forth with @/04tenno. i've taken the relevant notes from our asks, but you can read them in full here p1 p2 p3
Yoshitaka Mine
33 years old
6'1 height
Had healthy relationship with father Mine's father was encouraging and concerned for his safety and future
Lost father to illness The loss of his father left Mine alone in the world, fueling his desire to find comradery again
Exemplary in barefisted combat Mine is well-trained in various martial arts, additionally shown to practice boxing in his spare time
Motivated by desire for interpersonal relationships Mine's greatest ambition in life was to achieve a true bond and to overcome his feelings of being betrayed by the society around him
Past work as venture capitalist Prior to his life as a yakuza, Mine worked as a white-collar citizen
Apparent close relationship with superior Mine is shown to have a friendly and mutual relationship with Daigo Dojima
Disdain for children Mine believes children- especially orphans- are privileged leeches on the generous fortune of adults
Challenges authority Mine doesn't shy from scolding Daigo Dojima when he acts recklessly and puts the needs of Kazuma Kiryu before the Tojo Clan's. He neither shies away from sharing ideas with peers, no matter how ludicrous they may appear
Center
Fights protagonist over superior Mine and Kazuma Kiryu fight atop Touto Hospital due to their philosophical disagreements and whether killing a comatose Daigo Dojima would be right for him. In RGGO, Ichiban Kasuga and Sawashiro fight atop the Millennium Tower due to Ichiban believing Sawashiro betrayed Masumi Arakawa.
Ironclad devotion Mine demonstrates his unwavering belief in Daigo Dojima with unapologetic ire against parties he believe to be acting in opposition to Daigo. He additionally makes extreme, selfless financial endeavors in order to support Daigo. Sawashiro, though unable to make his loyalty overly loud, demonstrates his near-four-decade-long commitment to the son he previously abandoned, Masato Arakawa. As a result, he'd become similarly committed to the man who came to raise him in his stead, Masumi Arakawa.
Devotion is plot twist Though the audience was lead to believe Mine was working maliciously against Daigo Dojima, it's revealed Mine, from his perspective, was acting in Daigo's best interests. In RGGO, Ichiban confronts Sawashiro about his chaotic activity and asserts it goes against Masumi Arakawa's ideals, whereas Sawashiro retorts and claims everything he's done was only to benefit Arakawa. In Y7, not only is it revealed Sawashiro refused to kill Arakawa despite it being an order from Masato Arakawa- a party he had yet to ever disobey- but the full extent of Sawashiro's history with Masato and ergo the true nature of his devotion is brought to light.
Absent father figure at young age Mine loses his father presumably before his teenage years to an unspecified illness. Sawashiro runs away from his abusive household at the age of 15, where he only had an alcoholic father to look after him.
Treasurer Despite the questionable status of their education, Mine and Sawashiro prove themselves intelligent enough to be able to manage the finances of their respective clans.
Outbursts of extreme violence Mine seldom acts with violence without reason. However, upon the mockery of Daigo Dojima's death, Mine forgoes his collected demeanor and stabs the hand of the man praising his death. Though Sawashiro is shown to be more prone to violence, he similarly has an especially bloody scene subsequent to the death of Masumi Arakawa. He almost cuts the finger of Ichiban Kasuga off after believing Ichiban acted irresponsibly, especially with regards to the care of Masato Arakawa.
Irezumi honors superior Mine's irezumi depicts a kirin, a mythical creatures renowned for their intense and volatile devotion to benevolent leaders they deem worthy. Undoubtedly, Mine perceives himself as the righteous kirin, Daigo his holy ruler. In RGGO, Sawashiro's irezumi depicts a dragonfish, a design Ichiban Kasuga asserts he mimicked as it was gotten in order to honor Masumi Arakawa. The dragon is meant to represent Arakawa, the koi meant to represent the desire to live up to his example.
Joined yakuza for specific person Mine seeks to join the yakuza in order to meet the Tojo Clan's sixth chairman, Daigo Dojima, after seeing low-rate yakuza sacrifice themselves for him. Sawashiro joins the yakuza in order to be closer to his son, Masato Arakawa, after discovering the patriarch of the Arakawa Family, Masumi Arakawa, is his new father.
Interest in art Mine's affinity for art is evident in his office space decorum alongside in-game RGGO dialogue. However, Sawashiro's interest is arguably implied based off of the textures used for the books in his office. The implication that Sawashiro harbors a similar interest in art should be taken lightly.
Jo Sawashiro
57 years old
6'2 height
Had toxic relationship with father Sawashiro would shirk going home in order to avoid being abused by his alcoholic father
Ran from father By age 15, Sawashiro commits to running away from home
Specializes in weapon-based combat Though he possesses skill in boxing, Sawashiro's martial forte revolves around weaponry, his toolkit ranging from katana to broken glass pieces and walking canes
Motivated by guilt for and devotion to son Prior to reconnecting with Masato Arakawa after abandoning him as an infant, Sawashiro describes himself as having lived life 'half-assed'. Upon joining the yakuza, Sawashiro's actions are heavily motivated to do what benefits Masato Arakawa. The only exception to this rule was the order to assassinate Masumi Arakawa.
Past work as construction worker In order to support himself and his girlfriend, Ikumi, Sawashiro worked as a construction worker
Superior co-parents child, but depth of relationship is uncertain After Sawashiro abandons Masato Arakawa as an infant, Masumi Arakawa mistakenly rescues and raises him as his own son. Once joining the Arakawa Family, Sawashiro resumes taking care of Masato from a distance, effectively raising Masato alongside Arakawa. Despite this, the true extent of their amiability with each other is unknown, though Arakawa has demonstrated to be comfortable enough to refer to Sawashiro by his given name.
Father to one child Sawashiro fathers Masato Arakawa alongside Masumi Arakawa. Masato has shown to be comfortable enough with Sawashiro to contact him when in duress and notes he 'followed him like a lost puppy' as he was growing up, suggesting Sawashiro's consistent proximity to him.
Obeys authority Sawashiro is often a quiet follower of those in a greater position compared to himself. The only exception to this behavior was after Masumi Arakawa's death, where he punctures the eye of one of his superiors.
BONUS: Office Space Observation
"Snap why bother analyzing their office spaces if they're different" because Sawashiro's original office in RGGO was the same as Mine's:
Tumblr media
With Y7, he evidently has a new space of his own, so why not take a chance to look at how they differ now.
Yoshitaka Mine's Office in Minato:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bright walls and well lit
Personal desk is in proximity to social aspect of the room and is in the back of the room, blocked by social area. In addition, Mine utilizes couches for his social area.
First floor is small and important pieces are close to each other. Bar is closer to personal desk, but not totally out of reach from social area.
Hakuho Family crest is high on the wall and generally out of sight when first entering the room.
Windows are behind Mine's desk and are covered with mahogany blinds
A surface-level assessment of Mine's office would assert he favors intimacy and for guests to be close with one another and himself. Having the bar beside him suggests his method of showing friendship is through acts of service, as he would most likely be the one to bring guests drinks. The bright condition of the room being only offset with tasteful dark furniture gives off an inviting atmosphere yet not overbearing. Coupled with the domestic set up, with every important part of the room being so close to one another, it reaffirms his goal to be close with others.
Jo Sawashiro's Office in Kamurocho:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dark walls, selective lighting
Personal desk is not only removed from social area, but it's the main attraction of the office, the leisurely area sectioned off to a separate room. However, Sawashiro has two seats situated behind his desk
Bar is close to social area. Sawashiro uses individual, spaced-out chairs for social area
Room is enormous and incredibly empty
Arakawa Family crest is right above Sawashiro's desk, immediately drawing attention to itself upon entry
Windows are replaced by one wall being made entirely of thick glass
Compared to Mine's office, Sawashiro's office floor is significantly simpler. The most decorated part of the office belongs to his personal area at the heart of the room, the area perfectly symmetrical and uniform (or it would be without it being thrashed) but lacking in intense lighting. Moreover, this area is separated from where guests would gather, and even the social room has guests set in armchairs, separating everyone from themselves. Unlike his personal area, the social from is well lit and has the bar being right next to guests and far away from Sawashiro. It can be assessed that Sawashiro isn't overly concerned with others and prefers to isolate himself, but knows enough to provide a pleasant room to let them occupy themselves and leave him unbothered. Alongside the eye-catching Arakawa Family crest positioned above him, the two seats sat behind Sawashiro could reference Masato and Masumi Arakawa, asserting that his only wish in life is to serve the family.

hi i'm in the mood to infodump and i almost started typing something that is a very big spoiler to the second timeline so instead i'll talk about something that we already know which is. sanada brothers' relationship.
so i think i haven't talked about any of the possible t3 covers (except mentioning yurika's deco cover on my main) but like. yes i've said it before and i'll say it again rabbit girl outfit kei will be real in like. a few months probably. i mean i've drawn him before so he's already kinda real
HOWEVER what i didn't mention is that i was thinking of giving him mozaik role as his possible guilty cover! but then he got absolutely hit by that innosweep so yeah. no kei mozaik role.
but i listened to it again earlier and i was like. hold on. hold on. these lyrics are. kinda kei AND eiji coded.
obviously, it would have a more platonic meaning in this case (it's so hard to work with deco's songs sometimes, it's like i KNOW pretty much all of his songs are about romance and i'm like. b-but what if i need something different..), but like. look at this. please stay in this space with me.
so you're staying with me here? good!
so, let's point out some of the kei-coded lyrics.
"i compared the fluid that leaked out of the wound to love". YEAH. yeah, this is kei with his "pain means love btw <3" beliefs. if you're wondering how and why did he even start to think so, in his first interrogation he says that it's what eiji and kei's mother always used to say and i overall kinda tried to imply that he's VERY attached to his mom. (i am planning to make a post about her and eiko's mother soon!)
"you gave me a sweet lie that "it's okay to be a coward", have i been able to escape?" even though eiji is the younger brother, he's the one who always protected kei from other people and kei is actually very dependent on him, i mean, he literally calls him his older brother sometimes. "wait who did he have to protect kei from" first of all, this hasn't really been talked about before, but i think it's easy to guess that kei always kinda had this weird kid kind of reputation. which would lead to. yeah. bullying. and also.. um. mrs sanada believed that pain means love and kei also thinks that she loved him more than she loved eiji. i think that's enough information. (it also should be mentioned that right now eiji is 19 and kei is 25 and the age difference is actually quite big, which means that when 16 y/o kei was in trouble, A LITERAL 10 YEAR OLD TRIED TO PROTECT HIM. AND KEI CALLED HIM HIS OLDER BROTHER EVEN THEN. DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY EIJI IS LIKE THIS NOW.)
"what's wrong with killing me, me who you hate" well. i think we all know this. no matter how much eiji says that he hates kei, no matter how messed up their relationship is and no matter how badly kei treated (and still does) him, eiji simply wouldn't be able to actually kill him. yes, he punished and tortured him, but he wouldn't be brave enough to actually sentence him to death.
now, about eiji-coded lyrics.
"i will be sick of you by the end of this", "i will drink up all the tears that you gave me". pretty self-explanatory, but the second one can also refer to the fact that even though eiji does recognize that the way kei treated him was abusive and unhealthy, he still can't let him go for some reason, so sadly, he will just continue to ruin himself while claiming that he hates him and kei deserves to die and also visiting him and checking up on him every day, "just because he wants to see kei in pain", yeah, sure. he cried so many tears because of kei, but he will still drink them up.
"is this called "i loved you"? where i struggle to cling to you". again. eiji, sweetie, make up your mind. this is the part of eiji and kei's relationship that is so heartbreaking to me because even though eiji himself knows how toxic their relationship is, he's still attached to kei and still cares about him. i don't know, something about him still trying to take care of kei who abused him both physically and emotionally and believing that kei still needs him (and he's not wrong) is so. 😔😔😔
and the lyrics that fit both of them!
"and yet, i love you", "what's wrong with me loving you, bound together, so nobody can touch you" these two are so codependent, it's scary. and actually, i SHOULD talk more about how much these two depend on each other because if you think about it, both kei and eiji try to fight for independence in their own way. kei's way of fighting is having as many relationships (that last like a week or two) as possible, almost as if saying "yes i DO get bitches, but i can easily leave them as soon as i'm bored, i am sooooo cool" and doing illegal and creepy things such as. yeah. literally taking pics of people being tortured for money and his own personal amusement, like he's saying "aren't i so cool for doing this. aren't you afraid of me. please say that you are, give me a reason to feel like i'm in control here". meanwhile eiji not only hates criminals because he associates them with kei, but he also punishes them in the worst ways possible and enjoys it because he wants to feel like he can do something himself, without anyone's help, and he wants to prove that he's strong. look at him, a 16 y/o kid got a horrible head injury because of him and it's possible that he will die soon! eiji is so strong, isn't he? he even had enough courage to punish his own brother, who already had scars and was afraid of eiji touching him! he also forced yurika to relive the days of being a maid even though she hated every second of it! w-what do you mean, that's.. bad?
so yeah, both sanada brothers just want to be seen as cool and mature and be treated like adults, except they.. don't even know what being an adult is like. their mother is a toymaker who was basically a child pretending to be a grown-up, eiji was forced to become an older brother figure even before he went to middle school, kei literally sees everything through rose-colored glasses, eiji believes that violence is the only way to show that he's stronger than others and kei tends to unconsciously age regress when he's panicking or in an unsafe situation. yeah, these two want to and will beat each other up. and yes, they love each other in the most twisted way.
"this is fate as well, it will disappear, disappear, our world of love" SO U H . i feel like if i say anything, it will be a spoiler, so let me just say this. both sanada brothers were/are/will lose something that feels like home to them. kei misses ruka and he committed his crime exactly because his world started to fall apart and he started to think that ruka will be taken away from him (surprisingly, he actually did it not in a yandere way and it wasn't really a result of obsession, but him realizing that he cares about him. after all, he did say in his first interrogation that "he thinks he really did love that person".). and we know that all of this is going to end one day, but we don't know what is going to happen to the guards after their job is done. and considering that eiji finally feels like he has found what he was made for and what he likes to do.. yeah. yeah, it's possible that his world is going to disappear as well.
my brain is running out of brain juices, so let me just show these screenshots. do you see my vision

I genuinely wonder why people equate empathy to kindness? being able to understand another person and where their emotions are coming from and why they're coming from that place, the ability to be able to share those feelings with another, does not mean that, that skill is going to immediately be used to be kind. it's extremely difficult being able to understand where ppls emotions are coming from and what they're feeling and why. y'all get empathy and sympathy mixed up so much. you can be sympathetic without being empathetic and you can be empathetic without being sympathetic. I have hyper empathy bc of autism but also pretty much completely lack sympathy, also bc of autism. then ppl will be like "empaths are always lying bc they're not sympathetic and they're mean" ppl with hyper empathy are not inherently saints that CARE just bc they understand. or maybe they do care, and that care is so much, and it is extended to everyone to the point it is personally exhausting and they're not taking care of themselves so they have to intentionally ignore people's feelings and emotions in order to take care of their own. it sucks having hyper empathy and then trying to talk about it bc immediately ppl are like "why don't you cry then? why arent you super emotional?" and they're misunderstanding what empathy even is or what it's like to experience hyper empathy. stop acting like being empathetic makes you some kind of saint that martyrs yourself for other people's emotions.
