Assignments Update!
Hey Doodlers! Exciting news- we're nearly finished with assignments!
After a lot of hard work on our end and patience from you, we're finally nearing the end of assignments. Which is so exciting!! We'll 100% be finished by the end of the day today, and will be sending them out tomorrow, January 5th, since it's getting pretty late for us and we want to be alert to make sure sending goes smoothly.
Thank you all for your kindness in dealing with the delays, we deeply appreciate it. We'll post when assignments start sending, and then post again when they're all sent out. We hope you're all as stoked as we are- go Doodlers!

Not officially doing Clean Your Home month, but we got a lot of long-awaited stuff done around the place today. Sean scrubbed the shower while I took the Clorox wipes to the bathroom sink and toilet. I also cleaned my makeup brushes, and we folded two loads of laundry.
Got the sheets rotated, too. I have three, basic bitch gray storage boxes from Target that each have a movie serial killer sticker on them. Whenever we change sheets, I wash the old ones, stick them in the now-empty box that held the new ones, then put that on the bottom and the other two on top. That way, we're using all the sheets equally.
Sean also scrubbed the stovetop, and I got the dishwasher loaded and going.
Oh, I did an entire load of laundry of the many items with serious dog smell, including getting the cover off the giant bean bag.
We also went through everything on the coat racks and checked what was in the front closet. Between that and some closet cleaning last weekend, we've got a large pile of stuff to drop at Goodwill.
Feels good to get so much done. Gonna try to keep the energy going in smaller ways through the week. I need to dust my jewelry table and the couch could use a serious bit of dustbusting.

My final for the class I have this semester is a paper wherein we’re supposed to act as though we’re a licensed psychologist called into an organization to consult on a problem and give recommendations. My prof suggested a former prac site because we’re likely to know quite a bit about the day-to-day operations and problems that grunt workers face. And well, after the last year I just had, there’s no way I’m touching that without a hazmat suit and years of therapy (haha irony), so this assignment’s really not the place to do any of that processing.
No...instead I chose RT. And I gotta say, it’s been pretty cathartic to type out the history of the company, to see how it developed in its entirety, the good, the bad, and the ugly (though it’s been mostly those last two, even with a nice bit of perspective on what I liked about the company). I get to talk about the ethical and diversity issues next, which is gonna be a treat and a half for my poor brain, and then how I’d go about evaluating the company, how I’d conceptualize everything put together, then give recommendations. I’m already 4 full pages into the 12-15 requirement, and it’s not due till December 1st :b

((Today is my only day off until Thursday (I also have Friday off!) but I won’t be around a lot. I’ll be away from my laptop most of the day and when I get home I have to shower, eat dinner, and etc before I get to bed because I have to be up early tomorrow for work oTL
That said, as a reminder- I work retail and the worst part of the holiday season starts this weekend. Our hours change, so I’ll have some 6am shifts or pull late shifts, AND we have consistent snow already which is only gonna get worse from here so, ya know, coupled with work stress, my mood is gonna be off a lot more, too ^^; So my activity is gonna be kind of all over the place until January when things calm back down a little.
That said- I love you guys and I hope you’re all doing well! <3 I’ll try to be around a little bit later tonight, but no promises ^^;))
