- I went to Japan!
- Trying to finish my freelance website project
- I think I really don't enjoy working freelance
- Been finding mentors in the content design space thru ADP
- I'm pivoting from comp sci to content design!
- I will still be coding in my free time but as a hobby <3
- I don't think I miss making social media content but I miss the community and friends I made from doing it
- Having a cat has made my life infinitely better why did I not do this sooner
- I'm using bootstrap for the first time and idk how I feel about it

I think I just learned in the hardest way that you cannot post anything from mobile if it contains photos.
I just put together some stuff with a bunch of text and hit post and bam nothing. all gone. no error message or anything.
why is this a thing. who knows?
why allow users to upload photos on mobile if its not gonna post? like honestly why?

Uhh how do I learn coding as someone with 0 experience or knowledge? I wanna go into like software dev so based on my basic research I have to know JavaScript, html and css.
I don’t understand anything 😭 and I’m 19 with like no uni prospect cuz I’ve always been a stem girl and now I wanna switch to tech which is kinda difficult here in the UK
Hiiii!!!! and so sorry for such a late response (ಥ﹏ಥ)
First of all. You're doing amazing!!! And lucky enough you can get pretty far into a tech career without formal uni training ♡
Second of all. There are so many different routes you can go through. Frontend, backend, fullstack, data engineering, devops, cybersecurity, ect ect... Each of these will require you to know different languages and frameworks.
So I highly recommend checking them all out and seeing what you find yourself most interested in and then finding someone who works in that career and having a coffee chat with them to see how it is from their perspective.
Once you find your match, the fun begins! ( ๑>ᴗ<๑ ) Start learning from tutorials and by making your own projects. Find people in the community to collab with.
And ofc if you ever decide to change your mind midway learning, don't feel bad about it. It's so rare to just pick something and stick to it for the rest of your life.
It's not gonna be easy and it's gonna take a lot of work but its not impossible!!!! We're all gonna be rooting for you!!

i haven't used Tumblr in years and i guess codeblr is a thing?
so hi to everyone who doesn't know me, i'm a Desi nonbinary glitch witch who codes stream overlays
and even tho StreamElements is the best dev experience for creating stream overlays (AFAIK)
they haven't updated it in the entire 2+ years i've been working on these, their service isn't reliable, and i have personal beef with them
so i made my own chat box overlay system that runs locally off of an HTML file (no server needed), and it passes you all the chat data into a global function that you can use however you wish (but i do have a base theme to help people understand how to make a basic chat box with it)
planning on releasing it out and make tutorials to get more people to learn how to code
so yea i'll have updates about that eventually
