Feylan (Originally a Startouch Elf in TDP) would probably be an Ancient Elf, perhaps related to one of the Evanuris as it would fits his storyline.

Adahleni and Athrahel (Dalish Elves) would be Moonshadow Elves.

Tamril and Almael (Orlesian city Elves) would be Sunfire Elves because french accents.

Liswen (Moonshadow Elf) would be a Dalish and she would wear the Vallaslin of Sylaise.

I haven’t watched Dungeon Meshi, but I always enjoy the dashboard osmosis experience and have a peculiar visual memory. Here is what I believe Dungeon Meshi to be mostly about. No complicating experiences with the text, or indeed character references, fed into this extremely clear vision, which I believe I torrented directly from the astral plane at the same time as the creator was logged on

A rare but appreciated aspect of Part 1 that I liked was that they didn't make Goemon forgive Momochi or anything as so many stories centering around abuse do, and instead they just killed him

🕊️ Fernweh: Davor lived a happy life there and didn't think about leaving in the future. Maybe for some trips, but he knew it would always be his place, his safe place... 'It was a mistake to come back here.' - that was his first thought when he tried to fall asleep on the first night in Fernweh. The nightmares came back as he thought they would. He wants to leave as soon as possible because he feels that it is not safe for Becca to be here.

🕊️ Gramps Dan: That was his gramps who taught Davor how to play the guitar. As a young child, Davor always admired him and believed he was the most intelligent person in the world. After the death of his parents and how his grandfather treated him, he was devastated and angry. He wanted answers soo badly but didn't get any. He lived loathing his grandfather ever since. The news of his passing stirred up a lot of negative emotions that Davor had previously managed to suppress. At the beginning of the story he couldn't care less about his grandfather, but because of his journal he started to believe him. Things that his granfather lived through made Davor even more angry at this messy town …but he's willing to forgive his gramps…

🐝 Becca Warrick: It was a ...funny story that brought both of them together and they look after each other ever since. He considers Becca as his precious (not in a negative-possessive way) treasure, he literally can't let anything bad happen to her. That was also she who came up with the nickname 'Dove'... (and she's literally the only person who calls him that, others wouldn't dare...). He had feelings for her for quite some time but didn't act on it... until now. Although he didn't express it, he felt very nervous about Becca being in the town where he grew up. He was curious (but also scared) about what she could think of this town. He felt like he was revealing more of himself to her…. and he forgot about any worries pretty fast, because the town started being weird as fu--.

🕊️ Reese Verner: Back then Davor was quite cheerful and enjoyed competing with Reese regularly. They teased each other a lot. Davor always thought that Reese had a crush on him, was it true tho? donut know, but he certainly had. ...why does he appear in his nightmares? Maybe the crush stage never disappeared...? Seeing him again was a nice experience, sure... but ignoring the circumstances, he is still unsure if it was worth it and is struggling with his thoughts… Would it be worth it to return to Fernweh just to see him... again? welp, good thing he doesn't have to think about it much, am I right?

🕊️ Sofia Dorran: The two of them maybe did not have a strong relationship, but he knew Sofia is the ideal person for engaging in intelligent conversations. He enjoyed spending time with her, solving the puzzles that gramps created for them both. Davor wasn't a fan of fantasy books, but she managed to change his mind about them. Davor knows that Sofia did take good care of his grandfather, but he still doesn't quite know if he's grateful for that or wished she spent her time more... valuably... He was tempted to ask Sofia to borrow that book she found in his grandfather's bedroom, but he thought better of it. It's better to leave Fernweh… Even so, his curiosity wasn't properly fed.

🕊️ James Corvin: Maybe not brothers by blood, but definitely brothers by choice. Davor treated him as if he was the brother he always wanted to have. Back then Davor always placed a high value on his family… until now. At the time, Davor tended to be more impulsive and James was usually the one who kept him from getting into trouble (which often involved Reese). It was really hard, for both of them, to see each other after so long. Their first interaction was pretty awkward... I would even say that most of their interactions were . James noticed how Davor changed the question is: for the better or worse? I don't even know. Everyone can sense, that things around them are different now, and they aren't as close as before. Will it change?

🕊️ Alek Corvin: …To say that Alek wasn't a fan of Davor would be an understatement. Was it because James spent most of his time focusing only on Davor trying to get him out of trouble? Did Alek observe any possessiveness from Davor towards James? Or maybe simply because of the bond between those two, which was truly something that others would envy and desire? Davor never considered it, especially when he left Fernweh permanently. :)) As you can imagine, Alek doesn't seem very happy about Davor's return… But he took an interest in his new friend, Becca, which did not go unnoticed by Davor and he isn't really happy about it.

🕊️ The Waitress: Oh boy, it seems that Davor has taken up a new hobby, which is glaring harshly at the waitress. He finds her mistrustful and he smells trouble. Had they met when he was younger, there may have been a slim chance of them getting along.

🕊️ Waffles!: So um… Davor has a little issue with dogs and because of that his relationship with Waffles isn't as wonderful as I wish it would be... However, I believe that with time and help from Becca, they will eventually become friends.

Adrienette stans wanna gaslight Ladynoir stans who don’t like this plot point and act like Ladynoir was always meant to be platonic from the start and Adrienette was obviously always meant to be the side that would start dating .... No.

My dudes there is a reason Ladynoir has always been more popular than Adrienette among the online fandom. There is a reason the bulk of the fancontent when the show first came out focused on romantic Ladynoir. Hell there is a reason Zag chose for their expensive piece of ship merch to be a $300+ Ladynoir statue. They’re even using romantic Ladynoir scenes to advertise their movie now. Stormy Weather, the pilot episode, the episode meant to introduce us to and sell the show to us and networks, was 99% Ladynoir. Every “Valentine’s” episode (Dark Cupid/Glaciator) has been heavily Ladynoir-centric. Chat Blanc, despite starting with Ladrien followed by an Adrienette dating montage, was heavily Ladynoir centric. “Our love did this to the world" came through Ladynoir. We were shown Ladybug getting upset any time Chat Noir seemed to show interest in another girl. We were given “maybe if Adrien didn’t exist, I’d feel differently about Chat Noir...” in s1. We were given Ladybug explicitly dodging Chat Noir’s question of if things would be different between them if her “other boy” wasn’t a factor. We were given “maybe if I show Ladybug my true self, she’ll fall in love with me,” followed by that very thing happening. We were given a second coup de foudre in Strike Back. The first kiss in this show happened through Ladynoir. The first kiss they were both conscious of happened through Ladynoir in Jubilation. We were shown Ladybug blushing after Chat Noir kissed her cheek in Glaciator. We were shown Ladybug progressively learning that Chat Noir is more sensitive than she thought and not the kind of guy she thought he was and growing closer to and more fond of him over the course of the series -- the plot of like every good romance worth reading (Pride and Prejudice anyone??).

Everyone picked up on the romantic vibes and the depth of their relationship over the past 7 years and now y’all wanna pretend we were hallucinating all along just because your fav side is canon and y’all don’t want to acknowledge the fact that cutting out Ladybug’s feelings for Chat Noir after 4 seasons of development and literally /3 episodes/ of actual visible feelings is an insane choice because it gets in the way of said side being canon. We all picked up on the fact that Chat Blanc and Ephemeral both told us explicitly that Adrienette can’t safely be together as civilians because Gabriel can and will use it to his advantage even without knowing their identities and now y’all want to pretend we’re the ones who weren’t paying attention when even the show was telling us that Adrienette is the side that can’t happen. Apparently the payoff of the 7-year-buildup of Ladybug realizing her romantic feelings for Chat Noir was ... three whole episodes. Followed by her ditching him entirely. Y’all are okay with completely ignoring the insane choice of having Marinette and Adrien not at all worried about abandoning their partners and spitting on “I’ll never abandon you” and every time they’ve ever said “you and me against the entire world” because all you see is weee cute Adrienette scenes <3333.

Like I said I and many others did not watch this show for a generic school romance we watched this show for a Love Square with identity shenanigans because that’s what was being sold to us yet apparently it was never about the "falling in love twice” and the parallels between the two relationships and two loves even though that’s what the past 4 seasons told us it was because it was actually just “adrienette with some obstacles” all along and oBvIoUsLy it was always just meant to be about romantic Adrienette!!!1!!1 I did not watch 7 years worth of romantic development on the Ladynoir side just for Adrienette stans to decide to tell me that I was actually hallucinating that whole time and that Ladynoir was always meant to be platonic

10. The scholar is a man of science, who doesn't have space in his life for worthless sentimental items. He must keep only a minimal amount of the most practical items, so he is capable of moving at a moment's notice to wherever his work demands. The rock collection he made at the age of five serves a very important scientific purpose, thank you very much! He can't simply throw out these gifts from his mother and sisters--they could one day be invaluable to the historical record! How dare you imply that these things are clutter, kept only out of sentiment?

(Aside from his frankly overwhelming collection of personal items, he's also got a collection of items from Earth. He claims it's for important scientific purposes, but Lily has compared it to Ariel's cave of human treasures, and she's not wrong.)

15. The explorer has negative associations with a lot of his family home and the surrounding community, but once he gets to know Lily, and discovers how little of the area she's actually seen, he suddenly remembers places with positive associations and tries to show her some of them. One of his favorite places happens to be the pond where Lily first emerged into the world--which from Lily's perspective is the site of one of the most terrifying moments of her life. There are other places that go much better.

(There are also places throughout their wider world that he has some fantastic memories--and stories--attached to, but saying exactly what they are requires more worldbuilding than I'm prepared to do at the moment.)

18. The wife's family predicted she'd regret marrying this scholar who was a rung or two below her on the social ladder. They came very close to being right at certain points--her husband's interest in a probably-imaginary world got a bit too overpowering sometimes, and the day he expected her to take in a strange foreign girl claiming to be from this imaginary land, well, let's just say she came very close to ruing the day they were wed, but things got significantly better. The scholar had most of the community predicting that his interest in this other world would be completely useless, but once Lily showed up, his knowledge became extremely useful, so he was pretty much vindicated.

mmmmm uh haha um. Sort of, sometimes.. I like drawing and stuff but I've been taking this course that has eaten up a lot of my free time so i haven't done any art stuff in a while. Should be all done with it really soon though so hopefully it won't be long before i can get back to it/a good routine. I had this whole art renaissance at the end of 2023/beg. 2024 where I just had this like epiphany re art and was super motivated and enjoying it, so hopefully i can back to that. But yeah I like the process of drawing. I mostly draw from observation, and i love how it gets me to really look at what I'm seeing and appreciate all the details. And i enjoy the puzzle of it, of figuring out how to represent the subject on the page. The epiphany i had was literally just basic art advice you hear everywhere lol but i had spent months in this rut of focusing on the outcome/end product of a drawing and getting really frustrated and upset with what i was doing. Eventually i like clawed myself to the realization that that was the problem and I need to make art solely for the love of the process. It's hard bc it's so easy to want to chase the feeling you get when you make something you're happy with, but I found i would start a drawing and want every line I put down to be immediately gorgeous, and i just a) don't have the skill for that and b) was putting so much energy into wanting it look good that I wasn't focusing on any of the principles or techniques that actually help build a drawing that looks good. Bad all around lol. But also, I can flip through that sketchbook and see evidence that i was learning things, even despite all that. So yeah. Generated a lot of motivation and good feelings.

As someone that played through Fear & Hunger I'm very glad you aren't going to try it. it's really Disgusting at times in a "I know what you are, developer" sort of way and it takes so much energy to ignore the BAD that its just best to appreciate it from far far away and go "Oooooh cool art style". I do wish people brought that aspect up more at times. HOWEVER the art style & designs really do kick ass

haven't heard of any I Know What You Are allegations or rumors about the developer of f&h but frankly since i'm not touching the games i mostly didn't go look + not sure if i'm interested in knowing [but also i play + deeply enjoy + create fanart of pathologic & lead developer and writer of that has Freak allegations up to his neck, which i knew well before i got into the game(s) and i'm still playin & enjoying, and my critiques/criticisms of the female characters and their treatment is Explicitly informed by my knowledge of his Freak allegations] but i know from talking to like 5 different people at this point that the sexual/sexualized violence is not approached in a way I would find/those people I trust already find meaningful/well-handled. anyone and everyone is welcome to have their own opinions on it and think that this violence informs/fits within the content and the context of the brutal nature of the narrative, but from what i've heard and been able to discuss, even within the context of absolutely brutal ruthless narratives, it's just Not Handled In A Way That Is Well-/Meaningfully Written/offered the care it needs (yes even in a tragic cruel disgusting yucky evil narrative), whether objectively or subjectively, so i'm not touching that (also frankly i don't really care about turn-based rpgs. is just not my jam. i enjoyed whichever FF it was i had on DS but like. yawn a lil)

[this is no dig at people who play & enjoy any of the fungers btw many of my friends do play & like it + we're all able to enjoy like. horror. games. and movies and whatnot with yucky disgusting themes (that's what horror is. that's what the point of horror is) in the narrative & i greatly enjoy the art that comes of it but like. there's a reason even people who have played it tons + enjoy it thoroughly focus drawing the dynamics and interpersonal relationships between the characters and the found family aspect with The Girl and the web of bonds and not the ~allegedly~ Very Poorly Handled Graphic Omnipresent Sexual Violence]
