Oh I’ve really loved this episode. I loved that there were some glimpses of things from the first seasons that I loved, but you can also see how much things have changed. Those little moments between Kevin and Kim, being there for each other like in the first seasons when it was Kim helping him out with his siblings but now he is the one helping her figuring out what to do with Mak.

I really loved the Burzek moments too. It might seem the usual one step forward and two back, but I actually think there was some growth there. At the very least, they are talking about their shared trauma, even if Kim is still not 100% ready to acknowledge certain things to Adam. But they are talking. More of this!

And I loved seeing Kim’s heart and how it helped with the case, ultimately trying to protect those kids. Remember when Al said the job was gonna crush her because of this? But what if it makes her better at it?

I love the elderly men that work/volunteer at National Parks just because they love history. Like, seeing these old guys help little kids complete their Junior Ranger booklets and giving them a patch or sticker on edition to their badges is so sweet. You can really tell that they love what they do and that they want to get kids interested in history and their country.
