Jac Rayner finally putting some form of official Sixth Doctor timeline in Six's 40th anniversary story BUT making it deliberately convoluted and nonsensical for a joke is simultaneously the funniest and most infuriating thing.

Good day, hope you’re doing good and well. Can you please write headcanons for Dino from KHR thank you 💕
Hello! I am doing quite okay ahaha, I fell ill right at the beginning of the year and that actually explains my return to writing just a bit bc I had 0 energy for anything else. I just sat and wondered about the nation's husband here for a bit, so apologies if some of these are kind of a stretch!
♡ Misc. Dino Cavallone Headcanons ✧
Tumblr media
He went from having a fear of horses to becoming a horse girl. I like to imagine that his parents may have had an interest in riding (or that the Cavallone family literally fixes horse races for shady $$), so there would be these huuge beautiful top of the line horses at their personal stable.. however, he was absolutely terrified of them and was too afraid to look them in the eye, much less ride one, until Reborn forced him to face his fear; He's fallen on his ass and been kicked in the face more times than he can count, but as he slowly learned that horses were just big skittish animals that needed to be treated with love and respect, he began to love riding and working with horses and down the line earned the nickname "Bucking Horse/Bronco".
Dino loved the Barbie movie, he is extremely Alancoded. And his all-out cowboy barbie outfit (lowkey Reborn made him do it) drew too much attention at the theatre, to the point that some kids were calling him Ken and asking for photos. He ✨served💅 the public that day.
I refuse to believe that Dino was an only child and he turned out so well?!? He's extremely older-brother coded, I would bet my life that he has at least one younger sister or half-sister (though arguably Tsuna is his non-blood brother) that he just doted on until idk she prob kaboomed and wasn't used as a plot device
He's a tall man, has type O blood, he should be donating it because he's such a good person, right? He did once! He passed out and is a little nervous about going back again.. to think that he has a whole tattoo sleeve..
Some of his tattoos are actually coverups!? He never planned to get a full sleeve, but needed to cover up some shitty flash he got in his younger days. He decided to get something bolder and flashier to cover it, but then the rest of his arm being bare just bothered him.. so he added elements until uh oh, it's a full sleeve that goes all the way to the back of his hand. Despite being a pretty boy his entire life, he seems like the type to have had some img issues and regrets with his initial tattoos (he got them just bc he thought it would make him cool and tough), covered them up and felt like he looked too shady.. and then learned to love them and embrace them as art. He likes the asymmetry of how heavily inked one side of him is, and is considering a big ankle/calf/thigh and maybe a hip piece on the opposite side leg to balance it out, but he's a bit nervous about the pain (I giggle). Omg what if the skull and flame neck tatt is matching with some of his men (theirs are in different spots) after a particularly drinks-heavy party night*.
Sometime between the "present time" of the KHR timeline and TYL, he adopted a shorter haircut and learned how to style it from Reborn! They got more time to reconnect as Reborn became less busy with shaping Tsuna into the "perfect mafia boss" or whatever and began to lengthen the kite string gradually.
Dino is a total softie at heart, and has moments where he cut people slack that other mafioso, especially older bosses, would not have. His men love him because he is strong and they know his heart is right, but whatever softness he had in his early 20's he had to shake off real hard as time went on.
Because of all the mental and physical work it takes for him to do his job, sometimes he wants nothing more than to be babygirled for once, and literally nobody knows but just maybe Romario has an inkling.. the sense that it may be the case.
fin.✧
*smart ppl don't get inked under the influence, don't even drink before or after you get tatted ok lolol stay safe out there

I'm bored, and you’ve been super kind, so here's a present for ya. I'm gonna try to come up with some genuinely good questions regarding Atticus. Some will be simple, while others will try to dig deeper. Here we go:
1. What is the most important thing in the world to Atticus? His undisputed #1 thing?
2. Would Atticus give this thing up if it meant saving mutantkind?
3. What angers Atticus most?
4. What saddens Atticus most?
5. What is Atticus' biggest flaw?
6. What is one regret he will carry for the rest of his life?
7. What made you follow the official timeline for his story instead of making your own?
8. Who do you think Atticus would be with if Illyana did not exist?
9. Is Atticus a genuinely good person to you? What dark traits does he have deep down, if any?
10. What could potentially turn him to a villain? If anything?
11. If you had to change his powers, what would they be?
12. How much of you has been reflected into this manbear?
And that is all for now! Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for the questions! I appreciate the questions, especially when they're thinkers like these ones. That being said, there are a lot of them so they're gonna go under a read more.
His books. It's Illyana. Of course it is. We are talking Illyana as number one, and then his students and team mates at second.
2. Absolutely not. This has more than once gotten him punched in the face for his stubbornness. His loyalty to Illyana is more than a little bit self-destructive lmao.
3. Atticus is an incredibly laid back dude, but literally any moment when he is forced to interact with Xavier makes him want to rip his hair out. Years of watching the egg-man ruin his friends, students and others lives because he think he knows best drives Atticus up the wall. Also Sinister, he exploded when he found out Sinister was on the Council.
4. SAD! KIDS! As a former traumatized teen and currently mildly traumatized adult, nothing upsets him more than seeing a young person having a rough time. This why he has so many (unofficial) adopted children (consisting of ever single student he has ever had).
5. A combo of stubbornness and, in a smaller sense, cowardice. Atticus has spent most of his adult life avoiding the superhero community, and until Krakoa, he was very committed to never getting involved. This has made him difficult to deal with, especially when he talks to people like the X-Men or Avengers. It also applies to his convictions, cause good luck getting him to budge once he's made a decision.
6. 3 big ones. Not stopping the Avengers from putting the Phoenix into Illyana, Piotr and Emma (he doesn't care enough about Summers or Namor to worry about them.) The other one is not being in Sydney when Australia's Sentinel program killed his mother accidentally. Notably he couldn't actually stop any of this from happening, but he still regrets it. Finally, he regrets leaving his job at Avengers Academy, since the events of Avengers Arena led to the deaths of a bunch of his students. (No wonder he's so protective.)
7. Honestly? It's easier LMAO. Not having to think as hard about the timeline of everything means that I can focus more on character work, which is really my area of expertise. And it's not like I can't mess with canon (the timeline I write in splits off after the 2023 Hellfire Gala) since comic canon is already so bullshit.
8. Uhhhhhhhhhh. I actually don't know? He's kinda crafted to fit well with her so much now that I have a hard time considering it. Maybe Emma? That could be a similar and cute relationship. Same thing with like, Lorna. Maybe there's a cursed timeline where he ends up with Boom-Boom. IDK, Atticus is drawn to people with Issues (and blondes), so that's probably your best bet.
9. Woah, big morality question. The boring answer is yes because I say so. But I think removing myself from that position as his creator, I do think he's a good dude. He definitely has his issues, but ultimately he just wants the best for himself and the people he cares about. If anything dying and coming back fused to a living garden has probably made him even nicer.
10. There's def an alternate universe where he's swayed to Magento's Brotherhood for a while, and I've looked at Beast's descent into villainy as a fun What If? thing. It would have to be if Illyana had died, or he let his more controlling elements take over.
11. Plants or making him a Telepath (of the unwanted voices variety). Honestly every time I write Atti's powers in action it gives me a headache, even though I think they're legitimately cool.
12. Uhhhhhh, some amount. As he developed he's actually gotten pretty far away, but it'd be silly to say nothing about Atti is similar to me. I'm Australian, and am currently in Uni for teaching, so there's the ones that 100% still apply at least. I wish I was as much a bear as Atticus is tho, I'm a little chubby, not quite as cuddly as he is (or hairy.).

Are there any particular elaborate character/oc playlists you’d like to share?? Or just a song or two?? Always love character playlists 🫣
So I follow some people who have elaborate character playlists in that they're like 100 songs long. Most of mine are not that, but I don't know that I'd consider mine "not elaborate" still, you know?
Most of my playlists are for canon characters, but I do have oc playlists also.
Anyway, since the spirit of the post / ask is to be able to ramble about a playlist, I'll pick a shorter one (not the shortest even but you know).
For my Shez OC - the main character from Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes. His name is Avery (he/they).
Tumblr media
The game sets up the character as lacking a sense of self-preservation. Like the main character from the previous game, he has a spirit of something inside of him, speaking to him, saving him, guiding him. They complain about Avery jumping off a cliff more than once as if it would make them stronger.
The first song on the playlist is Bullet Proof ... I Wish I Was, because there's a lot of implication that the reason this character might not have been in the original story / timeline in Fire Emblem Three Houses because they did not live to see it, and I like leaning into the tragedy of that.
The second song is Writing's On The Wall, which has lyrics that align with that "there are clear signs that something unpleasant or unwelcome is going to happen." Avery feels something "familiar" with the Agarthans, who were the primary or secondary antagonists in fe3h depending on what route the player took, and Arval, the spirit inside Avery, says things that have a strong ominous tone. Avery is determined not to be the villain, but there's hints that whatever happens is "fate" and "destiny" and beyond his choice.
The third song is The Kiss of Life and it has lyrics which lend to the same moods as the previous two songs, and also pairs well with if you ship the two protagonists of those two games, which I do. Faedolyn, my Byleth OC, would have the ability to use Divine Pulse to turn back the clock to save Avery in most circumstances / canon-adjacent au's, and I like to think that Avery's connections to other characters, whether romantic or platonic are strongly what would drive them to long for the purpose that Fae finds easily (in his opinion) on their own.
The next song is What Feels Like Eternity, and if you've listened this far I like to think that the beat of the music is helping drive you along to stay on board with me. It is about trudging along and also refers to negative events as a bad dream. In the first chapter of few3h, Arval says, "I am a being that exists on the edge of dreams and reality." And the game didn't lean into this or use it well in my opinion, but I have spoken at length to friends about what this could mean for my oc.
Then you have I Am Not a Robot, and in the Golden Wildfire route of few3h, Avery gets to both explore the Bernadetta support chain (which I have my gripes about but that's not for here) where he encourages her to not judge people by their covers, like books; and gets to explore a Claude who is in conflict with himself, and who Avery is concerned would sacrifice him (a mercenary) and others like him as his goals shift and change. Additionally, and much more importantly, it is something to experience but not presented clearly, that Avery's birth parents who died under mysterious circumstances were probably killed by his adoptive mother who was either an Agarthan agent or a runaway Agarthan looking to revive Arval / Epimenides. They were looking to use him as a vessel with the intention of complete personality overhaul, they just needed the body. And I think this song suits characters who are victim to this kind of thing.
Next is Chambers, which has a lot of self-sacrificing styled lyrics as well as lyrics that imply a struggle between the narrator and someone he cares for. This, and also in particular the line "Oh, would you still offer your embrace, If it's another place you'd find me in?" fit well for me the way that Avery would rather die than be in conflict with the people he cares for / has witnessed and decided are innocent or good. In particular, he gives up his "rivalry" with Fae when he sees they would make a better ally than a mountainside for him to clash against. He would not willingly be whatever the Agarthans would make of him.
We're nearing the end! The next song is Oh My Dear Lord. The lyrics are about a burnout who can't deviate from their path. I think Avery doesn't believe in the Goddess on his own momentum, and that the Agarthan adoptive mother he had wouldn't have raised him with any experience in the Church of Seiros. So the lyrics for him would be a cry to the void, to nothing, with language that is pseudo-religious from someone who doesn't know how to be pious. I think he had wild and exciting mercenary days pre-canon, but they didn't exactly leave him prepared for the life he would lead.
Second to last we have Goodbye, which I discovered from the show DARK (never finished the second season). The terror of being "just a bad dream" meant for Arval to wake up from, and the inability to properly interact with the world around him (Avery) is why this song is on the list.
Finally, I added Me and the Devil after seeing this fanvid of being victim to or ally of or the seduced of a number of popular villains, which is also there for the betrayal I would have loved to see / experience between Avery and Arval, though I wouldn't have been disappointed by their tragic friendship with Epimenides being "the true villain" if Epimenides had been explored earlier in the story and a stronger character overall.

Hello! If it's not asking too much, could you explain 'Duel at MA Noon' and what's your take on it? I struggled to follow the thread of the story and I don't get what the message is supposed to be. To clarify, I have listened to the first part on the drama CD. Maybe I just have a reading comprehension problem lol. Besides, is this considered canon since Yuuri breaking off the engagement is never acknowledged again?
Thanks in advance if you reply.
Hi there!
I've just realized that I've never made an analysis on it! Duel at MA Noon is so important, as it sets precedent on how much Yuuri likes Wolf. I'm glad you brought it up. Sensei wrote this story specifically to address the haters of this couple. Let's get to it!
But before I start with the analysis and 'my take' on the story, let's address some of the other points you mentioned.
Timeline: Duel at MA Noon (2005) takes place chronologically after novel 5, before the Caloria arc. Their engagement is very much still on, according to every novel, every manga, every cd and every material that has been released by the author in every canon for the past 17 years.
Marriage: Not only are they very much engaged, but in the future that the author wrote for the canon story (continued in 2019), they're very much married. Legally. So yeah, they're engaged in the 'novel present' and the author already let everyone know they will be legally married in the future.
Homophobia: Yuuri and Wolf also live as a family with Greta in every iteration of maruma? If they were a cis guy and a cis girl living the exact same story, no one would doubt their relationship. The only reason why people get stuck on stuff like this is due to homophobia. Conscious or unconscious.
Like I've said many times, if you need a translation of this story, I made one here: https://marumafan.tumblr.com/post/163985363669/english-version-of-kyou-kara-maou
Current manga: Kyou Kara Maou S, the current manga (2022), written by Takabayashi-sensei has Wolf's description set as Yuuri's fiancé. It's info from this year.
"Never addressed again": You said the breaking off of the engagement was never addressed again. I think the explanation is in the story that you inquire about.
Now, onto my analysis and opinion of Duel at MA Noon! (spoilers below)
1) Setup
The story begins with Yuuri waking up from a 'sexy dream', that involved sexy time with Wolf and Conrad watching them go at it . Yuuri takes a shower while exposing himself constantly to Wolf, then when he leaves the shower Conrad shows up to wrap a towel around him. As they have breakfast, a photograph of Yuuri and Wolf that was taken while they were having a stroll, was published on a newspaper and Yuuri gets upset. Then Wolf starts imagining what their wedding would be like. He's childish, he's thinking about Yuuri's wedding dress and party.
(Let's remember this was pre-Caloria arc Wolf. The Wolf that hadn't almost lost Yuuri, the Wolf that hadn't insulted Shinou's Priestess and almost burned down the shrine. The Wolf that hadn't yet gone to the ends of the Earth to find Yuuri on human land, defying Gwen. This was childish Wolf, learning how to live with a fiancé and a newly adopted daughter. )
Yuuri, upset about the dream, the photo, and Wolf's insistence on the wedding and putting him in a dress, blows up and says that he wants to 'break off the engagement'.
My opinion : 16 year old teen doesn't wanna get married yet! Shocker! He's struggling with his own sexuality, confused about the sexy dreams, and the photos! He's being pressure into a 'wedding' and he snaps.
Says he wants to break off the engagement so that they leave him alone and give him time. Again, if you've met anyone struggling with their sexuality, you'll see how much they fight the idea that they 'might not be straight'.
This is my interpretation. Why? Why not interpret it as "well, he actually doesn't like Wolf?" BECAUSE HE SLEEPS WITH WOLF! XD Forever! And never actually breaks the engagement. They're forever a couple! He calls Wolf "daddy", please! He's naked in front of Wolf as much as he can "practicing naked baseball" whatever that means every night! XDD Do you roam around naked in front of your 'friend' that you sleep with? No! XD
2) Confrontation
Yuuri needs to get away for a while. Ends up talking with Gwen and Gunter about what happened. They say that Yuuri's sexy dream was a "bad omen" and to save the country they all have to cross-dress and Yuuri needs to be in a 'duel', according to Anissina's dream premonitions book.
Then off they go, and while walking in the forest, Yuuri encounters Wolf.
They're going to have a 'duel' again. One just like the duel in novel 1 that Wolf (who wanted to challenge the engagement as to cancel it) lost and Yuuri won (keeping the engagement in place). Well, here they are, having a re-match. Will they stay engaged or not?
Before the match Yuuri says: "…… Win or lose, let's have dinner tonight" to Wolf.
Their 'rematch' however, gets cancelled by Conrad's traps, that gets them hanging upside down from trees, touching noses and realizing how stupid the entire thing was.
My opinion: The grown ups involved here know the kids are being dumb and stop them from getting hurt, while helping them realize their feelings.
The "necessary" cross-dressing here continues for me, the idea that 'Yuuri is struggling with his sexuality' in general. Was it only due to comedic relief? They could have worn giant bear suits instead… why girl clothes?
Cutest moment: Yuuri verbalizes to Wolf how he feels. Regardless of what happens, he wants to continue being with Wolf.
3) Resolution
The story ends up with Yuuri and Wolf enjoying their evening together, chatting happily, continuing their life as usual. Not caring what people will say. Yuuri says that "titles don't matter", that only what you feel for the other person matters.
My opinion: So "whether or not someone has the title of fiancé means nothing; love is all there is". Sensei is addressing the haters here directly. To all of the haters who kept saying that "Yuuri and Wolf's engagement isn't real because Yuuri didn't know about the slap" , sensei says: "They're still in love and living together whether you consider their engagement real or not."
Sensei has dropped other stuff like this as well. She has also 'complained' about BL pairing order. In a conversation between Gunter and Badwik, she says that the 'pair order doesn't matter' (I'm paraphrasing, but this is in the drama cd about Gunters love diary (24), track 6)
Takabayashi-sensei has been fighting stereotypes and haters for a while. If people would actually read what she writes they'd understand it a little better.
So are they still ENGAGeD oh mah Gah!?!
Yeah, they are. But if they weren't, it wouldn't make a difference. They're in love. That's the story.
That's Duel at MA Noon. Ps. Also Wolfram slaps Yuuri’s cheek back in Caloria arc. If their engagement was somehow ‘off’ it was back on after that.

The Kris is the angel theory
Now I don't feel strongly about this theory but it was strangely... I don't know. Anyways I like to present to you.
In Undertale there were a prophecy that basic says that an angel will descend form above and free the monster by breaking the barrier. There are 2 things
1.frisk is the angel describes in the prophecy after frisk do free either by killing nearly everyone or freeing the monster, by technically stance the grand ending is the same in both route even if the specifics are different.
2. I do believe that Kris and frisk are the same person just in different timelines. Not been proven let lay out my evidence.
1. Kris and frisk both have the same hair color and skin color while Chara is more circadian and have red hair.
2. Kris did have naturally red eyes (probably related to their soul color) in deltarune chapter 2 when both Kris and Susie fall into a dark world we can see for brief moment Kris eye and it is red, here the thing Kris didn't rip out their own soul during this scene despite what the fanon want you to believe Chara don't have red eyes they have brown eyes instead.
3. I know someone is going bring up the shirt thing well for one shirt are not reliable evidence. Two in Kris room in castle town if you clicked on a wardrobe it will said "you could wear whatever you want." It probably have frisk shirt and frisk color scheme do match Kris room in castle and three consider this the dreemurr made their kids wear green/yellow strap shirt, the reason why frisk didn't wear the green yellow strap shirt because they never the dreemurr before the events of Undertale,in Deltarune Kris was adoption by the dreemurr family so that they wear the green yellow strap shirt.
4. Here the thing about chapter 1 end i think it meant to be a red hairing, after it is used as gag for chapter 2 opening and it the scene where something seems to be important but goes nowhere just the goner maker sequence and ralsei revealing his appearance.
And finally 5. In personality Kris and frisk probably have the same personality. If you load into chapter 2 without a previous save file the game will by default have pacifist ending for chapter 1, which show that Kris by default is a pacifist (don't know why Kris level status in the light world have atk 10 and def 10 at level 1 compare to frisk) and while we don't know a lot frisk past, I do have evidence that frisk a pacifist, if you beat Undertale by pacifist than play the pacifist route again, in the judgement halls sans will say "you refuses to hurt anyone. Even when you ran away, you did with a smile."

🦎+ any off the wall headcanons/theories about Saiyans? If you’re still doing this, that is!
Momo Talks About Shit So She Doesn't Fall Asleep At Work || Open!
[Gotta try and think of something I don't think I've touched on or that would be considered off the wall here 🤔.
I don't know if it's off the wall, but I looked up Planet Vegeta because I kinda remember Super trying to change stuff between the Saiyans and the Tuffles, so I was going to write about that, BUT I didn't find it (or missed it because in really tired), so I'm going to talk about some salt and my personal HCs concerning the Saiyans' conquest of what would become planet Vegeta.
Basically I'll start with how I don't care for the new(?) timeline they've adopted for this. According to the wiki, King Vegeta (present Vegeta's father), led the attacks that defeated the Tuffles in Age 730, King Cold discovered the Saiyans that same age or in 731 (the wiki says both? It's weird), and it was only four years later that Frieza destroyed the planet and most of the Saiyan race. So like not only is a lot mashed up into only five years without even mentioning the other smaller details of that time period in Saiyan history, it just feels...meh to me? Like I don't want to say rushed necessarily because a lot CAN happen in five years, but it lacks a fullness and intrigue to the Saiyans that I think just a bigger time span allows their history to have. Matters that caused strife internally and externally for the Saiyans are allowed to fester until we get to the point just before their destruction. Not to mention that does erase the part that they were conquering planets to some degree before King Cold came along, but I'll get into that.
To start with my own HCs here, I'll begin with I HC it was the FIRST King Vegeta who conquered the Tuffles, not the third, King Vegeta we know, and claimed the planet for the Saiyans, which would obviously be quite a while before canon now has it. I still maintain that they migrated to the planet likely because of a civil war and eventually took over that planet for their own. King Vegeta I, therefore, was the one to begin transforming the Saiyan race into the beginnings of what we see of the Saiyans when the planet is destroyed. Obviously, the Cold Empire will influence the way things work, too, but that's probably an entirely other post.
As mentioned, I also maintain that the Saiyans were already conquering planets before King Cold found them (which i believe is at least in the Z anime?) using the tech left behind by the Tuffles. Not for the same reasons necessarily. Iirc it was originally that they were searching for strong warriors to fight? And I'm sure that doubled as some kind of money making/take what they could use sort of venture. It was this lifestyle that caught King Cold's attention and led to them eventually working together. This was during King Vegeta I's reign.
While the Saiyans could absolutely accrue plenty of disdain for the Colds in four years or so, I feel like the bigger time span not only breeds disdain for the Colds and perhaps even the Saiyan monarchy, but it also allows more room for complacency, which I think we do see in the Saiyans when it comes to their position in the Empire (the OG Father of Goku movie I believe exemplifies it, as well as just different comments from Vegeta and others throughout the series). They're getting to fight like they love and are getting paid for it, so I think a lot of them were just like 🤷‍♀️ about it. Frustrated with how things worked in some ways, and i think this was worsened when Frieza took over (I HC that happens sooner too, but it's not a big detail I'll get into) , but overall complacent to just keep doing it. Not to mention I think they were very aware of how powerful Cold and his ilk were, so I doubt they were raring to start many rebellions, especially in the early years.
I dunno. I just think they originally set up a really interesting story for the Saiyans and I feel like recent content has just...diluted and made what little of their history we get far less interesting than it could have been. Making the Saiyans' sovereignty (or at least a more established, unified one it sounds like) and their alliance with the Colds so short sort of shoots out a lot of opportunity to really expand on Saiyan lore and present what I feel was the original intent for the Saiyans. Plus like...why make Vegeta the fourth of his name if his father was the one that apparently made the Saiyan race what we saw? Like sure you could have kings before that, but since they were apparently not well-established and spread out in different, likely autonomous clans, it doesn't feel like it fits?
Plus, the short time frame makes it too easy to allow the Saiyans to just be the victims when that's not REALLY the full story. They absolutely ARE but, originally, it felt a lot more complicated (no, this is not me letting the Colds off for SHIT; its contending that thr Saiyans aren't squeaky clean even prior to joining the empire). And they seem to want to KIND OF address that in more recent chapters of the manga but....not really. I think a lot of what they've done with the Saiyans' history lately has made them a lot less interesting as a race and makes their situation feel...too standard? Uncomplicated as I said? Which simplifying shit is definitely Super's MO but you know. I don't know how off the wall this is but HERE. 🤣🤣]

POV: you're watching Loki episode 5. Loki and Sylvie share a blanket, and then five minutes later sylvie’s like “we’re the same :)” which comes after them holding hands to cause a Nexus event, Mobius implying they're in love, and Loki appearing to want to confess some sort of adoration for her before being pruned,,, and so far, it seems the showrunners/writers are on board w/ calling it a love story,,,,,,,,,,
let’s dive a bit into this ship.
(note: i'm not going to tag this as "syl//ki," and i will not put any ship in the body text without the "//", but tumblr may take the "syl//ki" out of "anti syl//ki" and put it in the ship tag. that's out of my hands. you need to block "anti syl//ki" if you don't want to see that.)
when it comes to defending or being anti syl//ki, I think a lot of people sort of missed the memo on or forgot about the fact that Loki is a frost giant. I have looked on both Twitter and Tumblr and literally have not seen a single person talk about it in the selfcest debate so far. I've probably missed something. So if you have seen this argument, well, here it is again!
so, syl//ki defenders will say,
It’s not selfcest because they are genetically different. They might have different parents since they were adopted by the Asgardians.
If they were genetically similar, then they would also be genetically similar to Boastful Loki and Alligator Loki.
First of all. Loki’s last name is Laufeyson. Sylvie’s last name is Laufeydottir. Due to the naming conventions used here, both can be assumed to be children of Laufey. I realize we haven’t seen Sylvie’s Laufey, but who’s to say they look any different than the one we saw in Thor? Furthermore, there’s nothing to suggest that they weren’t adopted by the same exact couple (i.e., Odin and Frigga or some variation), and if you’re not ok with Thor and Loki, you probably should consider this. Probably. We'll really just have to see what happens if they develop Sylvie further. Who knows, they might get cold feet in the last episode and actually make her Enchantress (Sylvie Lushton) proper.
The second point really pisses me off not just as someone who loves Norse mythology but also just. The race card. Does no one remember the fact that Loki is actually supposed to be blue? He’s not genetically white. There is nothing in his genes that command him to be white. That is a disguise (originally put on him by Odin if I’m not mistaken? feel free to check me on that).
Loki could literally be any gender and/or any color he wants to be. Hell, we've seen him shapeshift into Steve Rogers briefly and Odin presumably for a good while. Really, it's hard to pass judgement on the relationships that the other Lokis have to their respective timelines. We can only make assumptions based on the evidence we have. (but also have fun with headcanons of course)
(also the funny part about bringing up Boastful Loki is ,, everyone is always like “well, are you trying to tell me that our Loki has the same genes as Boastful/Hammer Loki? 🙄🙄🙄” and like, they won’t come out and just say one is white and one is black like,,, :) they’re trying so hard not to sound racist it’s hilarious. AND THEN TO PUT ALLIGATOR LOKI IN THE SAME CATEGORY. LAUGHABLE. str8 up.)
But concerning the alligator, in Norse mythology, frost giants can have kids that are really just. Out there. Jormungand is a snake that can wrap itself around the world, Fenris is a gargantuan wolf, and Hel is a half dead child. Those are just Loki’s kids (note: in the mythology. they also exist in the comics as his children, but I am also aware that Fenris and Hela are not his children in the MCU and trust me, that peeves me a lot). I’m sure there’s more examples though. So like. Potentially????? Yeah, Loki Prime could be genetically similar to Alligator Loki.
Furthermore, according to this Gizmodo article, Alligator Loki is a Loki (2021) creation, and they admit to playing with the idea that Alligator Loki may not even be a Loki. So take that how you will.
Tumblr media
So my verdict is that Loki and Sylvie are the same person with different looks, possibly some difference in genetics, depending on the mother.
(note: Loki is marked in his file as genderfluid, technically we cannot know what he was assigned at birth. we only know his pronouns. he could be AFAB. Sylvie may be AMAB.)
I don’t ship lok//ius, and I don’t care if Loki gets with a girl (I actually really like Loki and Darcy) so don’t come at me with the biphobia excuse that’s running around. I will say that yes, I would adore seeing Loki in an mlm or wlw relationship. Yes, it is really cliché to have the two opposite gender-presenting leads get together. Yes, I want to see Loki and Sylvie as friends/family. But that’s not what I’m here to talk about. I’m just here to ask if this is selfcest or not.
So yes, Syl//ki really does appear to be a selfcest ship and like, if you’re willing to own that, own it. It looks like that’s how the show’s going so far so,, uh,,, enjoy it if that’s something you want to do I guess. I’m ,, probably not going to though. But congrats on the canon! If it is!
I’m not asking you to stop shipping it, if you do. I'm not even asking you to ship with caution. Overall, I just hope I made you think a little more about it and maybe get a discussion going that doesn't revolve around the same arguments we've heard for the past three weeks.
Because like, it's not hurting anyone to ship it, and if you send hate speech to any shippers or the showrunners, literally what is wrong with you???? there are civil ways to discourse, my lord.
Personally, if I had to ship it, I would only do so as a self-love metaphor, and I think that's as far as I would take it. As it currently stands, it's on the same level of Oncest, so like. it's weird but honestly it doesn't hurt anyone. (and if you don't know what Oncest is, give this video by Sarah Z a watch.) Really it all just amounts to this test from Buzzfeed that you've probably seen in fandom memes before. So you can use that as your squick-o-meter when it comes to this ship.
I will end this by saying I am not pro-ship. Inc//est and pedo//philia have no place in fandom and thinking these are okay could lead to harmful thinking in real life, especially with regards to children in fandom.
Selfcest is not technically on the same level as inc//est, and yes, I know, in the words of the great Buzzfeed Unsolved team, "anytime you have to say technically that's not great" but I really mean it here. We can still say technically here.
TL;DR: yeah syl//ki is more than likely selfcest. don't send hate to people who ship it tho (this includes the showrunners).

Why Kevin Day is the most in-depth character in the All For the Game series
An essay by a Kevin stan, so you know it's at least 70% biased
Hello, hello everyone, welcome to another session of me, brainwashing you about the amazingness of Kevin Day. In this short essay, I'll discuss how our number Queen asshole striker is, in fact, not just a whiney bitch, but one of the most key characters in the AFTG series. I'll also discuss how Nora pretty much did him dirty and how much I appreciate the fandom for doing him better.
I've decided that it will be much easier to take things chronologically, so I can delve deeper into what makes Kevin the character whose stans won't shut up about.
Unlike the rest of the characters in the series, Kevin started off in a somewhat stable family condition. He was brought up by his mother, Kayleigh, but still probably had to live with the title 'Son of Exy' from the moment he was born. We've all witnessed what being on the spotlight from a young age has done to child stars. Kevin, upon growing up, would start feeling the burden of a whole legacy created by his mother. Because Exy, despite being a bastard sport, has a large fanbase around the US, and possibly further - since it's mentioned that it's also an Olympic sport.
It wouldn't be a surprise that Kevin more than likely looked up to his mother and wanted to play Exy for her. Suddenly though, Keyleigh died in a car accident (if it was even a car accident; knowing the Moriyamas, it could had been done on purpose) and left Kevin in the care of Tetsuji Moriyama, the head of one of the yakuza's branches, and his now adoptive brother Riko.
Let's be honest, both of them were just kids. They only had each other, so it was really easy to get attached. Kevin has lost his mother at this point and Tetsuji is not exactly a proper father figure, so Kevin had to cling on Riko. Despite us seeing him in the main timeline being an asshole who snaps at everyone, his willingness to submit into the position of 'number 2' even if he's better than Riko, shows how much he depends emotionally on people. Riko and Kevin had to meet certain expectations, had fans from a very young age, and Neil even mentions that he literally witnessed Kevin grow up from media outlets and coverages. Kevin had to stick close to the only other person who's going through the same thing.
As a result, it was easy for Kevin to focus on what he's taught to believe; he should aim for the stars, he should be good, great, but never the best. Because Riko is the best. Kevin accepts that.
I hate how people call him a spineless coward just because someone mentions it once in the book. Kevin isn't like Neil. Neil was given a chance to escape. Kevin could never escape Evermore. Even if he did consider it his home, he was still abused on a daily basis. Riko mentions in Raven King, when he's about to torture Neil, that Neil is basically in the same position as Kevin once had been:
Tumblr media
People forget that, Kevin probably had to live through what Neil did ever since Riko turned into his fucked up self. Which literally means years of physical and mental abuse, with no hope of escape but the bright future he had ahead of him. So what did Kevin do? He focused on playing.
Stop making Kevin all about being an Exy freak or an alcoholic. Kevin was so obsessed with Exy because it's the only thing he has ever known. He probably couldn't even drink before he escaped Evermore.
Imagine being torn between loving and clinging on the boy you once called brother because it's the only family you've known, and being hurt by him, again and again at a later age, having him shatter all you think you are good at. Riko didn't just break Kevin's hand. He almost took away from him all he thought he had left, and possibly the only way Kevin had of feeling close to his mother.
Kevin loses all he's ever known, and he blames himself for it at first because he thinks it's his fault that he even dared to show he could be better than Riko. He's in pieces and the only thing he does is to cling yet on another person. Aka Andrew. And somehow like this, we come back to the point about Kevin not only being far from an emotionless asshole, but actually being the most emotionally attached character in the series.
Entering the timeline of the books, Kevin appears as the epitome of a narcissistic asshole. It's fair for someone (as a reader) to not like him at first, when we don't know all that much about him. But as the story unravels, a clear distinction is made:
Kevin is not a narcissist. He's egocentric.
Tumblr media
Kevin knows and truly believes he's the center of attention. Because, admittedly, he is. The books could had easily had Kevin as the protagonist. Like mentioned before, being raised on the spotlight, has had a tremendous impact on how he sees himself. He's obsessed with what image he's presenting to the public. I don't think he said 'being heterosexual is easier' without a reason. Kevin has led a life full of suppression. He can flash a 'press smile' for the cameras, he can snap and be cold at the Foxes, when in reality, he's suffering from severe PTSD, with panic attacks that he's handling in the worst way possible:
Alcohol. Why? Because the Foxes are all assholes and hypocrites. Don't get me wrong, I love them. But the fact that they just ignored Kevin everytime he had a panic attack and simply thrusted a bottle of vodka his way and called it a day? Inexcusable. Kevin needed a lot more than that.
Oh jeez, I wonder why he didn't tell Wymack he was his father all along.
If I see another person saying that Kevin was an ass for not telling Wymack straight up, I might slap a bitch. Do you think that Kevin would have been able to handle another rejection, another loss of a parental figure? All he did, was in self defense. Yes, it was selfish, but it was probably the only time in his life he could really make a choice on his own.
But you know what? Kevin overcame all this. Maybe and most probably not completely, he will never be able to wash away some stains, but he became more confident and emotionally independent. He detached himself both from Riko and from Andrew, and became the best striker in the history of Exy.
One of the reasons why I love Neil and Kevin - especially Kevin - is because their healing journeys are more fleshed out than Andrew's. But in this case, Kevin's was not really given the attention it deserved, it happened on the side lines and he had to do it alone. Neil had the foxes, had Wymack and Andrew. Kevin had no one, because the foxes, despite being assholes themselves, kept dismissing him and his problems. I really do believe that, in the first drafts when Kandreil was canon, Nora had potentially explored his character more. I wish we had gotten that instead of this sloppy attempt to squeeze in his ark along with Neil's.
I'll end this with some highlights that also showcase how badass Kevin is. He's a mess, but he does grow some spine when he finally becomes his own person:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oof, if you actually read through this, thank you for tolerating my probably incoherent thoughts. I actually barely scratched the surface of my thoughts on Kevin's character but for now, this will do.

*I don't know what The Untamed is and at this point I'm too afraid to ask* (would you mind giving me a quick overview/telling me what you like about it?) ((also you doing Howl's Moving Castle with your class is like the best thing since sliced bread))
Oh my gosh, yes! I’m sorry it took me a few days to get to this! I did try to keep this short. (And I’m so flattered you think my lesson plans are cool! Thank you!)
Okay, so in the simplest terms The Untamed* is a Chinese drama based on the novel Mo Dao Zu Shi (MDZS) by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. I’m not that familiar with the novel, but as I understand it, it was originally a web novel, but may now have been traditionally published in China (and possibly censored? I’m really uncertain about this). “Mo Dao Zu Shi” is usually translated as “The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation.” The novel and all of its adaptations** are Xianxia, which is a genre of Chinese fantasy that incorporates a lot of elements from Taoism, Buddhism, Chinese mythology, traditional Chinese medicine, etc.
For the plot, I’m gonna stick to The Untamed since it’s what I know! It’s about two cultivators who meet when they’re teenagers. Wei Wuxian (the titular Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) is the first disciple of the Yunmeng Jiang Sect--he’s considered to be a genius, but he’s also a mischievous troublemaker. He was adopted into the Jiang family as a child and would 1000% die for his siblings and it kills me. Lan Wangji is the Second Young Master (Er-gonzi) of the Gusu Lan Sect, and is known for being one of the “Twin Jades” of the Lan Sect (along with his older brother). He follows all 3000 of the Lan Sect’s rules to the letter and he’s also an excellent cultivator and super repressed (at first!). They meet, fall in love (though, yes, it’s all subtext because of censorship), there’s a war, Wei Wuxian kind of goes to the dark side for Reasons, then dies, and comes back to life 16*** years later. The first two episodes of the show actually take place in the future/present when Wei Wuxian is resurrected, then there’s a 30-episode flashback. The pacing is 100% ridiculous and I 100% love it.
As for what I like about it....there’s a lot. I’m gonna try to stick to the main things.
1. The romance is so well done. Even though the creators of every single version of MDZS have to contend with censorship, the subtext is there and purposeful, and I am just going to steal this quote from this excellent Vox article because I can’t put it any better:
“Their bond — which Netflix translates as “lifelong confidantes,” but which alternate translations usually interpret as “soulmates” — becomes transcendent, a chaste but heady yearning holding them together across time and tragedy. Wangji exudes soul-spilling longing, which Wang Yibo conveys primarily through mesmerizing infinitesimal facial adjustments that somehow contain Grand Canyons of emotional depth that will leave you clawing the floor. It’s like watching an inflamed Victorian melodrama, except instead of North and South it’s 50 hours of Wangji pledging eternal love to Wei Wuxian with the smallest curve of his mouth.”
As someone whose formative years were full of shows that were all queerbaiting, watching a show full of subtext that actually means what it’s implying is some seriously addictive wish fulfillment.
2. The Untamed absolutely bulldozed me where I’m weakest, and I will never recover--aka, the adopted family content makes me lose my entire mind. For some reason, adopted families (in which I do include found families, but by which I especially mean families that involve adoptive parents and children) are one of those things that get me right under the ribs without trying. The Untamed has so much adopted family content--Wei Wuxian’s relationship with the Jiang family (please don’t touch me) is the largest part of it, but there’s also some quality angst between Lan Wangji and his uncle (who was his primary parental figure), and [SPOILERS] Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji also have a child that they adopt together. Kind of. Almost. Listen, it’s complicated, and I’m going to keel over just thinking about it.
3. The way it tackles themes of morality is astoundingly well done. There is so much complexity, so much grey space, and so much angst--I have seriously never been so delighted to have my heart ripped out of my chest and mashed to pulp. I love complex villains, I especially love anti-heroes. This show delivered in all fronts, and I feel almost spoiled to be honest. As I understand it, the novel is even more brutal in this regard, and that is the biggest temptation to me to read it (it’s currently only available in English through fan translations).
So, those are the top 3 things I love about it! I could go on. I’m not gonna lie, there was a steep learning curve at first, and I would not have made it without the character/sect/Mandarin honorifics guide my twin made for me, but it was so worth it. I have not watched (or read, or listened to) something so escapist and delightful and angsty in years, and it’s definitely my go-to distraction in These Dark Times.
*It’s Chinese title is Chen Qing Ling, which is why some people call it CQL. As far as I know, Chen Qing Ling does not translate to “The Untamed” at all.
**There’s also a graphic novel that closely follows the novel + has an official English translation, a donghua/animated show (unfinished) that follows the novel more closely than The Untamed, and an audiodrama that I know very little about. I’m forever fascinated by how many adaptations have been made in such a short period of time.
***So it could actually be 12-13 years? The timeline of The Untamed is not exactly the same as the timeline of the novel, and seems to collapse almost everything in the past into a single year, whereas in the novel WWX and LWJ knew each other for several years before WWX’s death. It’s much less clear in The Untamed.

And while I'm on the subject I do think they should have gotten Katie Cassidy a wig and did some camera trickery to have Earth 1 Laurel be alive again too. The two possible explanations for her still being dead (Lance's theory that he considered E2 Laurel to be just as good as a 'replacement', or the idea that her death was more important to him being who he was than Tommy's or Moira's) just don't work for me.
My take on Laurel 1 not being back was this:
I think that it was more that two doppelgangers could not exist on the same Earth in this restart so in order for Oliver to bring back Laurel 1 he would have had to get rid of Laurel 2, essentially killing her. It’s not that Laurel 2 is a replacement and therefore ‘oh we don’t need old Laurel, her replacement’s just as good’, it was that she is distinct and so Oliver was not willing to trade her life for the other Laurel’s because Laurel 2 has her own distinct worth. So in that sense, like Lance said, trading her for Laurel 1 wouldn’t be fixing anything, because a Laurel would still be dead. It’s about Laurel 2 being cared for as an individual and not just as a replacement that they can get rid of as soon as they have the chance to the get the real thing back.
@between-the-pages-ofa-book had a slightly different take. Her thought was this:
It’s not that Laurel’s death was more important to Oliver than Tommy or Moira’s, because that’s his mom and his best friend/brother we’re talking about. It’s that Laurel’s death had a greater tangible impact on the timeline. Robert, Moira, Tommy, Laurel-- all of these deaths affected and changed Oliver, but Robert’s death sparked a radical change in Oliver to the extent that he was a new man afterward and without Robert’s death Oliver probably would not have done most of the things we saw him do on the show. Laurel’s death was not as radical change but it did set off a chain reaction that had a huge impact on events.
If Laurel had not died, Diggle might not have killed Andy and left the team. With both Laurel and Diggle still present, Oliver might not have sought out a new team, meaning there would be no Rene or Rory (Curtis had one foot in the door already so he might have still been around). If Laurel was alive they certainly wouldn’t have gone looking for a new Black Canary so there would be no Dinah on the team. It also means that either Black Siren Laurel 2 either wouldn’t have come into things at all, or might not have been redeemed, because Quentin wouldn’t have been motivated by grief to try to adopt her. With no Rory, Rene, Dinah or Laurel 2, the events of season 5 and beyond (especially season 6) would be wildly different. And so the ripple effect would have altered the personal timelines of the main characters too much.
I would not have been against Laurel being happily married to Tommy and living her life. But I think a combination of the two approaches above suitably justifies Laurel not returning. And I like that there are still some deaths which were real and permanent.
There’s also the out of universe reasoning that the spinoff just works better if there’s not two Laurel’s (one in her thirties and one in her fifties) running around Star City at the same time.

Darkest Greetings and Salutations My Family, how is everyone on this bright and breezy day? The events of this time are actually a triple shot for me as not only is it the Full Worm Supermoon and Equinox but also the 6th anniversary of my Walking the Ishtar Gate! So much has happened in the last six years, it’s been a literally life altering time that was not easy but was worth it as I have grown and evolved quite a bit thanks to the Ancient Family guiding me!
Tonight’s sermon is fairly short and to the point, so without any further ado:
Full Worm Supermoon and Vernal Equinox 2019
HAIL THE ANCIENT FAMILY! On this day the Wheel turns yet again and the Season of Rebirth triumphs over the Season of Death! With this a multitude of changes come sweeping across the landscape and what was hidden under the snow is now exposed and Ninhursag, our Blessed and Beautiful Mother Earth shows off her splendor in shades of green and blue! Flora and Fauna are once again buzzing with the activities of the bees as they begin their search for flowers to gather nectar from and to pollinate all the plant life! Fair warning for all those who suffer from pollen allergies, it’s supposed to be pretty bad this year so you may want to start preparing now!
Watching Nature just do what it’s done forever has always fascinated me; the lesson of the trees that lose their leaves in the Autumn yet stand strong in their barrenness during the Winter no matter how cold it gets or how much snow falls is a lesson for all of us to learn; life is not always easy and there are going to be times when it takes a lot out of us, when we feel that our “leaves” (our sanity) have been stripped, but if we stay the course and keep moving forward, we find that we not only have the inner power to overcome any obstacle, but like the trees, we emerge stronger and more vibrant for having not given up no matter how biting the chill may have been from having been buried under the drama and stress that comes from everyday life and especially from those times when it gets to be almost too much! Life is not easy, it is not meant to be, but without trials and such, there is no growth or evolution! This is the lesson of the trees, they lose their leaves year after year yet they never give up because they know that Spring will always come, they just have to be patient and so do we!
It’s not just the trees that change, deep under the once frozen Earth another change is occurring! The worms who lay dormant once again begin to wriggle around underground aerating the soil so that the roots of the trees can again receive the sustenance they need to regain their majestic statures and also so the grass can begin to emerge from its slumber to blanket the newly awakened Earth in a striking shock of green accented with a myriad of colors from the multitude of flowers that decorate the Natural World! The lesson of the worms is also something that we need to learn: life is not always about being in the spotlight, in fact like the worms whom we rarely see when they are at work, a lot of times we can accomplish more from behind the scenes! In other words, we don’t see the worms when they are going about their business, what we DO see is the end result of all their tireless toiling underground! We see the grass sprouting, the tree regenerating, the flowers blooming and deer grazing, just to name a few things! We see all this and yet rarely do we stop to acknowledge who it is that plays one of the BIGGEST roles in making it happen! The lesson is that if we all work together on any project, we can make amazing things happen and we don’t always have to be front and center! The lesson of the worms is humbleness and humility as well as supporting those whose time it is to take center stage, if only for a little while!
Today we celebrate the immortal beauty of Nature and the vast array of different forms of Life created! We stand in awe of its splendour as we contemplate all that we don't know and are humbled by all that we are privileged to observe and partake in! We respect that we are a part of in this never-ending dance between the Lord and Lady of the House!
The Dark Night of the Soul is a necessary time as well, it is the time for all of us to sit in quiet reflection of everything that has occurred not only in the last year but all throughout the course of our individual lives as well as the timeline of all things!
There are some things happening that can't be explained in the immediate situation however if we go backwards in time sometimes we can pinpoint when things were at their turning-point, these turning points can be good or bad depending on the situation! It is said that sometimes you need to go backwards in order to go forward and in these present times, I believe this is very much the case!
At this point in time it is not enough to ONLY focus on what is PRESENTLY happening, it is absolutely vital to look down the road and see where everything is headed! While no one can predict the future EVERYONE has the ability to use logic and reason to at the very least consider the possibilities! Some things are easier to determine than others, but we must always be prepared for anything!
It is during these times that we must remember who we are; we are the DEFENDERS, we are the PROTECTORS, we are the GUARDIANS who were created to oversee the environment and all it entails, we were created so that Life itself could continue to live and to maintain the Balance that exists between all aspects of Nature!
We are NOT here to elevate or exalt ourselves above the Natural Order, when we do this WE in fact create the Imbalance that causes MASSIVE amounts of Destruction to ALL things - including the Earth - and when this happens we need to step up and push back against those who would destroy everything in pursuit of personal agendas, instant gratification and temporary pleasure!
We have seen many horrific things take place even in the last year, we have seen our Mother Earth raped and ravaged repeatedly, we have seen her children of ALL species brutalized and thrown aside as though they didn't matter! We have seen the arrogance of the human ego put itself on a pedestal and glare condescendingly on all those down below!
When it comes to Protecting and Defending Nature and Life generally speaking it is imperative to know that everyone has it in them to be a Warrior for the Deity! A true Warrior does NOT fight because they hate what is in front of them, they fight because they love what is behind and beside them! Molded through years of trials, errors, setbacks, pressure and perseverance, they carry on NEVER surrendering no matter how stalwart the opposition! They do not fear death for they know there are fates which are MUCH WORSE! Every battle waged, every fort guarded, every life defended, every scar received are but testaments to the tenacious nature and unyielding Spirit of all those who walk this Path! When they lay their head down for the final sleep they have no need to fear the unknown for they know that they are already connected to the Deity and it is from him that they draw their Strength and it is to the Stars where they shall return, severed from their flesh vessels which go on through their own metamorphoses to maintain the flora and fauna by biodegrading and becoming food for them to thrive on!
The Caduceus was created by Enki and embodies the Balance of EVERYTHING in the Multiverse; Life and Death, Darkness and Light, Creation and Destruction. It was bequeathed unto NINGIZHEDA because he is the Guardian of the Gateways and as such NONE may pass beyond him in any direction without his permission and in many cases without his guidance! In the Descent of INANNA it was NINGIZHEDA who met her at every Gate and granted her passage. It was also NINGIZHEDA who revived her after the confrontation with ERESHKIGAL and helped her escape back to the Heavens! This cycle of Life, Death and Rebirth is also very much like the changing of the Seasons. When INANNA (ININNI/ISHTAR) descended it is comparable to Autumn as the further she went, the more she needed to leave behind, just like the further we go into Autumn the more Nature leaves behind (ie the leaves fall from the trees, the grass becomes suspended in the Earth, the herds hibernate or move on.) When she confronts ERESHKIGAL this is comparable to Winter because INANNA (ININNI/ISHTAR) did not actually die, like the Earth she also went into a form of suspended animation and when NINGIZHEDA revived her using the gifts given to him by ENKI is the heralding of the Spring or Season of Rebirth which is where we are now – the Vernal Equinox! The Season of Life is right around the corner which completes the Wheel and the Caduceus once again symbolizes the Balance and the reason why NINGIZHEDA who is the very essence of ALL Forces in the Multiverse both posing and opposing was charged with its maintenance and protection!
As Children of the Ancient Family it is our sworn duty to not only uphold the honor of our Family who gave us so much, but to do what needs to be done at the time it needs doing! To be a voice for the voiceless, to provide a place where people can go where they are free to express themselves without fear of reprisal and to think outside the box when it comes to matters of community and the Animal Kingdom! We are here to have a humanE experience by enjoying life to the fullest but also to stand up and fight for those who can’t fight for themselves - ie encouraging people to adopt from an animal shelter rather than a breeder, believe it or not this helps save COUNTLESS lives! We are here to remind everyone that human life is NOT the only life that matters and as such we need to respect ALL of Father’s creation, not just certain aspects of it! When we take our place in the Hoop of Life, what we are really doing is remembering who we are and why we are here!
“Vernal Equinox Prayer
Earth is the Mother who gives all manner of Life a Home!
Fire is the Passion that burns brightly from within and without!
Water is the Blood of Creation that exists in many interchanging states!
Air is the Breath of Life carried by all organisms great and small!
Heart is the strength that keeps us going when times get rough!
Spirit is the driving force behind all actions both Positive and Negative!
This night we say a verse for those we hold dear,
So that they will know happiness tonight and all year!
We acknowledge those who came before and held fast,
And forged on ahead to the future with bonds that will last!
The Darkness of ignorance can do insurmountable damage,
We are grateful for our Deity and Family who help us manage!
We give thanks to NINGIZHEDA who inspires us all,
For whom we stand up and will respond to his call!
The Wheel continues to turn bringing on more and more changes,
It is for us to adapt or die when the script rearranges!
Nothing in this Life is ever guaranteed,
But through hard work and effort our Spirits are freed!
The most important thing to remember is loyalty to Family,
No matter what happens, we are one even though we are many!”
