In my batshit insane daydream delusions I imagined myself as MC leaving the Wick after being flustered from Leander's attentions to run up to Ais.

Thinking about his "you like Leander?" line and framing that in a more infatuated frame. Yet still running away from Leander and towards Ais.

I don't know if it's in character but I imagine him noticing me being distracted, flushed, and he maybe asking about it. Something along the lines of "You like him. So why are you running away?" (Why are you here, in front of me? When you're not really here. Your heart's somewhere else, clearly).

I say something like "I'd be insane to choose that guy."

I know Ais doesn't like to talk about shit, but for batshit delusion's sake I imagined him saying something like "Things like that aren't logical anyway." (I don't know how to get his speech down, just think of the general idea haha)

And my response would be "I've got a mind. There's more to me than just feelings."

And I imagine that reminds Ais of his fatal flaw of emotions ruling him with destructive consequences.

The canvases aren’t even safe 😭 they used the Boroque era as reference for their search engines. Like I’m losing my shit constantly over ai art so bad. Like this is totally gonna be a rant so forgive me but it’s driving up the WALLS. Ai art being readily available is killing the incentive for people to be creative. I cannot tell you how many times I think I’ve found a really cool fellow artist on tiktok and then see #midjourney. I take psychic damage every time that happens to me. And I’m starting to see it infiltrating business too where they generate ai images instead of hire photographers. I also saw someone selling tshirts with ai art on it at my local farmers market. MOTHERFUCKER THE FARMERS MARKET??? HAVE YOU NO SHAME????

NAW PREACH IT cause its become a nagging issue for me for a while that i simply try to not think about and dwell on but dear FUCKING god is it everywhere and it's painfully obvious too! just about every ad takes me 3 seconds to find damning evidence that its ai and im 99% ready to just delete facebook bc #1 i dont give a fuck abt anyone on there anymore and #2 Literally every other post is the most deplorable ai shit ive ever seen that everyone is carelessly oblivious to i mean total abominations that don't make any sense as an image but ppl share bc its the most bottom of the barrel ''relatable'' shit and that's just the sad reality of it is most people don't even give a shit what they're looking at as long as it looks pretty to their eyes for 3 seconds they don't give a damn

and that's just on basic everyday world shit like u said there's so many mfs i think are decent artists where i legitimately cant tell its ai until i read their fuckshit bio or somethin, like that midjourney i didnt even know it was an ai program i would've just thought it was the name of a video game or some shit! like I feel like I'm kinda turning my back on the whole art community involuntarily bc i just dont trust any image i see most of the time and its fukkin sad i ESPECIALLY feel for the real artists prior to this shitshow who have art styles that now look so much like ai that they basically hijacked to feed the machine like I couldn't imagine spending thousands of dollars on an art college and hours of practice just for your art style to be The Blueprint for empty soulless photos cranked out at inhuman rates by any stupid fucking lazy ass clown like Fuck Man it all sucks so much and the worst part is I just feel like it's one of those things where it will not stop until Something caves and i honestly dont know which one it will be but i just know its only going to get worse idk i try to remember that i can pick up a paintbrush or even whatever the hell i want and make something beautiful while 98% of these ai sacks of shit are just limited to stealing other peoples art on the internet and they couldn't even paint a damn flower if their lives depended on it and if i was stuck on a deserted island I'd probably still find ways to make art with whatever tools and resources i have cause that's an artist baybay but as far as The Internet and its grasp it has on the world and trying to make it as a digital artist and trying to make money from your homemade artwork is very grim man and dont even get me started on art and artists in just about every job field rn my heart goes out to them

i hope you dont mind that im about to hijack your theory a lil bit! but i havent been able to stop thinking about it. as im rereading braavos material im noticing the power of the braavos fleet which i think has got to play a role in twow. and once i considered that a lot of other pieces also started to fall into place

when arya arrives in braavos one of the very first things she learns is that the city has an impressive power at sea:

The shadow lifted, the pine-clad ridges fell away to either side, the winds dwindled, and they found themselves moving through a great lagoon. Ahead rose another sea mont, a knob of rock that pushed up from the water like a spiked fist, its stony battlements bristling with scorpions, spitfires, and trebuchets. "The Arsenal of Braavos," Denyo named it, as proud as if he'd built it. "They can build a war galley there in a day." Arya could see dozens of galleys tied up at quays and perched on launching slips. The painted prows of others poked from innumerable wooden sheds along the stony shores, like hounds in a kennel, lean and mean and hungry, waiting for a hunter's horn to call them forth. which twoiaf supports so its not just a cabin boys boasting:

braavos is an all around powerful city. the iron bank and the faceless men are involved in numerous plots both political and magical throughout the series. theres also the sealord who ‘commands a fleet of warships second to none’! so its probably not a coincidence that the sealord election is emerging as a very important plot for arya. ive always been curious as to why? because it seems kinda random, but it might, ultimately, connect back to braavos’ fleet if thats where the sealords strength lies.

Look with your eyes, he had said. She saw: the knight in his pale armor head to foot, legs, throat, and hands sheathed in metal, eyes hidden behind his high white helm, and in his hand cruel steel. Against that: Syrio, in a leather vest, with a wooden sword in his hand. "Syrio, run," she screamed. "The first sword of Braavos does not run," he sang as Ser Meryn slashed at him. (Arya, AGOT)

since agot, arya has had a connection to the sealord (and braavos in general) via syrio. he died saving arya’s life. this could be her very powerful escort back to westeros, home, bringing syrio’s sacrifice full circle. theres a precedent for the sealord bestowing “grand” gifts too. and it might be that arya is in the company of her fellow northerners?

"I know why the Sealord seized the Goodheart. She was carrying slaves. Hundreds of slaves, women and children, roped together in her hold." Braavos had been founded by escaped slaves, and the slave trade was forbidden here. "I know where the slaves came from. They were wildlings from Westeros, from a place called Hardhome. An old ruined place, accursed." Old Nan had told her tales of Hardhome, back at Winterfell when she had still been Arya Stark. (Arya, ADWD)

because its also worth noting that the sealord seized a ship full of hardhome refugees, women and children, who were enslaved. arya has experienced a similar situation when she was taken captive in the riverlands. hardhome and harrenhal both have grim, haunted reputations. the wildlings are now seemingly stranded in essos - far from their home and the rest of their community in the north. again, not unlike arya. when relaying this information arya relates it directly to her past as arya stark.

"The Night's Watch will make for Hardhome. I ride to Winterfell alone, unless …" Jon paused. "… is there any man here who will come stand with me?" (Jon, ADWD)

the crisis at hardhome becomes a major issue for jon as lord commander too. jon planned to send the night’s watch to aid the stranded refugees while he marched on winterfell to rescue “arya” who is.....ironically, in braavos gathering intel on the hardhome crisis lol. among other things. this wouldnt be the first time arya got involved in night’s watch business either. arya herself traveled with yoren’s group posing as a recruit and took it upon herself to execute dareon for desertion. the wall was always the place arya wanted to reach the most.

Nymeria nipped eagerly at her hand as Arya untied her. She had yellow eyes. When they caught the sunlight, they gleamed like two golden coins. Arya had named her after the warrior queen of the Rhoyne, who had led her people across the narrow sea. (Arya, AGOT)

"Just so. Your father was oarmaster on a galley. When your mother died, he took you off to sea with him. Then he died as well, and his captain had no use for you, so he put you off the ship in Braavos. And what was the name of the ship?" "Nymeria," she said at once. (Arya, AFFC)

Higher on the Rhoyne, in Ny Sar, Princess Nymeria soon received the news of Garin's shattering defeat and the enslavement of the people of Chroyane and Sar Mell. The same fate awaited her own city, she saw. Accordingly, she gathered every ship that remained upon the Rhoyne, large or small, and filled them full of as many women and children as they could carry (for almost all the men of fighting age had marched with Garin, and died). theres another big connection here and thats nymeria ny sar. the legendary warrior queen arya named her direwolf after. she commanded a fleet of ships to travel from essos to westeros with refugees fleeing the threat slavery before she settled in dorne and ruled for nearly 3 decades. arya's story has been driven by a desire to protect others, social connections, and a safe place to call home. her direwolf reflects this by amassing a giant pack in the riverlands too.

i really do not think grrm put the hardhome refugees in arya’s path for no reason. the fandom has a tendency to write braavos off as a meaningless side quest for arya to simply train (and then go kill some character), but the pieces are already set up for arya to become the heroine she’s always admired. all she has to do is go for it.

even if there’s a solution to a “problem”, someone can still talk abt how they don’t like said problem… you know that right? it’s always “then ignore them” or write them yourself”… who says that ppl don’t do that already. it was one opinion. no one was demanding black writers to not write wtv they want, the person only shared their view and everyone went crazy… you legit wrote a think piece over this. i ask you to read all of this before sending another ask, its another “think piece” but its literally the answer to why what these woman are askin is lowkey problematic and i dont blame folks for not noticing dogwhistles. im also not say all “soft girls” are spouting this stuff. (hell im one of them). im also not calling these women evil, cuz they may not truly know what they saying is problematic as we live in a capitalist yt supremacist system. im more than happy to answer more. im not somebody that gon dismiss you if you wanna have discourse💖

but yes, you can talk about a problem when its in good faith as it actually cultivates productive insight. but bad faith arguments distract us from the real problems that both groups actually want to see fixed. however we need to acknowledge that most ADULTS who come with this “soft life fic” opinion be in bad faith.

bad faith is trying to get us to come back to things both parties already agree on. we all agree that soft fic aint seen much. what we are saying is why you keep coming in the dark/urban fic inbox stating it for people who have no problem with you? we’ve assessed the “problem” and we all agree it needs fixing. its like we running in circles, instead of different directions to fix other problems. the question is how are you going to contribute to fixing it in a healthy way and how do you want us to help.

essentially its respectability politics and thats why its not trivial. to most, this looks like a minor creative liberties dispute, but the underlying theme is actually steeped in so much politics that affect black women for real.

i mean just look at the whole bonnet and pajama pants debate. or the straight hair or braids for your birthday/formal event debate. or the wigs vs natural hair debate. baby mama vs wifey debate (if you believe how a woman carries herself in a way thats nondestructive to others, is a reason as to why she doesn’t deserve respect; you not a feminist.)

not even gon hold you, i didn’t know that was a minor. just reblogged @chrollohearttags post on my dash. anybody doing anything other than telling that little girl to get off they page is a weirdo. but cherry made a general post thats been a topic of discussion AMONGST BLACK WOMEN since we’ve been writing stories. so ofc thats what my “think piece” is about. she may have commented one question but some iteration of that same question has been around for years. i’m responding to that.

since i now know this is a minor, they could have very well been wanting to know why there is a saturation of these fics on here. and i would have told her about the culture of urban fic being ONE of the first pioneers in Black Smut Fiction. it literally helped shape the black writing culture whether bad or good. then i wouldve told her that when she’s older she could contribute to said culture. but right now she should not be consuming any sexual media.

and to ask a question like that, its clear she has some gripes about the way general media treats black women; which those are well-founded. i understand hating the “ride or die”, or the “settling for less” when it comes to media for black women. but how can you read about a specific aesthetic or lifestyle and immediately know thats was going on?

these women used to have valid points and some still do but like this little girl, they cant tell the difference and if they can, they want any kind of reputation for “ghetto” girls out the window. there’s nothing wrong with being “ghetto” and nothing wrong with being a “the soft divine feminine” but we do need to talk about why the latter feels comfortable coming on someone like cherry’s page too disparage girls who aesthetics and social values don’t align with them.

writers like cherry aren’t advocating abuse, their characters are living they best lives. doing “ghetto” shit and truly loving the partners they’re with.

there are legit women out there who are “ghetto” that love they life. and are in healthy relationships. its vile to say that the way someone simply chooses to exist is a direct result of how black women face abuse, especially as something as silly as wigs, body con dresses and long nails. or even activities like twerking, having babies, doing drugs and partying.

its kinda like this whole Sukiana situation vs the Home Depot girl. Both were sexually harrassed but people tried to victim blame Suki more cuz of the way she dress and act. thats nasty. (plus there was no versus to begin with cuz neither one deserved it)

like there IS something to be said about how women who tend to write urban fic -at least in its early days- really do live the lives they are writing about. granted, looking back, some of these women were so unhealed that they ended up romanticizing abuse. but most girls now understand that you can live a hood lifestyle and not put up with bullshit.

somewhere along the way, the “city girl/ghetto/high fem” aesthetic got associated with abuse, crime, and poverty. which is crazy cuz girls who look like JT be havin’ money, a good life and still have plug/rapper boyfriends who not killing or getting them killed.

so if these women would be honest, its not about the way the “urban” girls look or behave. the real problem is the abuse that these women face.

which i see how thats a problem but abuse doesn’t correlate to aesthetics and its not a causation of abuse either.

soft girls can experience abuse. they experience financial, domestic abuse, sexual abuse. these women who hate urban fic, keep forgetting that the soft girl is modeled after the tradition yt housewife who faced abuse too. just cuz you get out the hood and get a financial stable man that isnt a plug or gangbanger dont mean he not gon beat yo ass or expect loyalty when he do some dubious shit.

heyo! i would just like to apologise on behalf of the NPD community for the idiots that are frothing at the mouth trying to claim that narc abuse isn't real. yeah, we get it, pwNPD ≠ abusive. doesnt mean you get to dictate how victims should view their trauma, much less make it seem invalid. pwNPD make things so much worse if they aren't grounded! do they seriously think pwNPD are cute little bunnies who just want validation? i myself am a pwNPD, and it is soo cringe omfg. all this so-called npd positivity sickens me. you're convincing pwNPD that their problematic attention-seeking behaviour is acceptable. if pre-aware me saw all those posts, i would've never sought to change my behaviour and seek a healthier source of supply. i admit, i was abusive. no BS. i literally took pleasure in others being scared of me, to the point i would bully my own sister to tears and gaslit her into thinking it was her fault. i was fucking 10. i needed that slap on the face to finally realise this was not how i was supposed to be. i got my help, i got the support i need, i'm trying to be a better person. now thats the type of positivity we need. i dont want people telling me that 'i just want to be acknowledged'. no, wanting to be acknowledged is normal. my desire was unhealthy and violent. i needed someone to beat me up and tell me not everything about me and that i shouldn't want to beat someone up for doing something better than me. A super well considered and realistic view of what it means to be a narcissistic abuse denier and its roots in anti therapy/anti recovery rhetoric from the POV of a person who actually has NPD.

You're very right, to be a pwNPD and to argue that victims and survivors shouldn't have a community based on their shared experience of abuse because you feel personally victimised by the conversation is trying to dictate our recovery to us. It's attempting to invalidate our experience and its hella indicative of real life abusive behavior.

Thank you for sharing personal details of your own experience with NPD. I know it's hard, I know it's not fun for you and I'm sorry your safe spaces have been hijacked by wannabes and fakers pretending that to have this disorder is cool and edgy. You don't feel cool and edgy for having this disorder, because it's a real mental illness that effects your life daily, not a quirk you get to take off when you close the app and go into your life.

Support is out there for people with NPD or people who suspect they have it. It's not as fun or exciting to get help than it is to run a edgy tumblr blog that perpetuates further abuse and stigmatises people with NPD, but our mental health is our responsibility, and anti recovery and anti treatment narcissistic abuse denial blogs are just perpetrating further harm and stigma. The people who beleive in it will never get better, and it's sad, but you didn't fall into believing the narrative that NPD is untreatable. You got help though it was hard and you learned to be better.

I don't condone violence to correct bad behaviour, I don't think you needed to be hit to learn better. The desire to do better and be a good person is in all of us, and I hope you know that the decent human being you are today is thanks to your own hard work, your commitment to consistency in therapy, your strength to understand your disorder, not the time you were hit to learn better.

I’m a max blog and had the same thing happen to me in reverse a few weeks ago (I posted something in favor of max but a bunch of LH fans thought it was a hate post and I ended up just deleted the post bc it got so bad) so I’m sorry your post got hijacked by rb fans. I didn’t reblog it but I definitely didn’t realize when it came across my dash that it was an rb hate post. Your user just says mick and I’m also a mick fan so I wouldn’t automatically assume that means you hate rb.

re your post about autistic traits: Yeah. i realised a little while back that part of the reason why i like max is because i relate to certain traits of his, which are definitely autism manifest (for me). like, i'm not saying he is autistic (my asd encompasses much more than just those specific things i recognise in him) obviously. but like. seeing him mocked for those things, like his manner of speaking, level of enthusiasm, type of interests etc is Not Fun.

on top of that. i thought we all wanted f1 to be a sport primarily and not just reduced to show entertainment. why do you want him to be entertaining you so bad. he is not obliged to.

glad im not the only one feeling that way ... spot on on the max part. i also think hes got traits that are at the very least similar to (not to say actual.........) autistic traits. and then people make fun of him for them ?:,:;:?§!,!, like i personally believe its one thing when autistic people do it as like. woah boy your spectrum so autistic and disordered kind of jokes. i do it to my blorbos i think finding relatability in other people's traits is one of the joys of being autistic. but there's this very weird aftertaste to the way some people treat drivers with these traits. both when theyre mentioned in a bad AND good light---i wont even speak on how people clearly think some traits are by far better than others especially for men (hint its the less obvious non disruptive ones---except bluntness---unless you're not successful enough to deserve being blunt. in that case you are arrogant)

and yup... i mean its kind of the problem with so much of the content being centered around the drivers themselves and not the racing im afraid. i think it's less that people think they are entitled a certain level of entertainment and more that the intense scrutiny we are allowed to partake in allows for criticism of personalities on a personal like/dislike level. if you get what i mean. more than ever drivers' personalities are put forward as part of the whole package deal. youve probably noticed that pr teams in the past few years have put an enormous emphasis on trying to make drivers relatable and fun and likeable through challenges and vlogs and what have you. and are trying to appeal to meme communities and especially stan circles by more or less successfully running memes to the ground (how long has it been since the george intro pose joke first started... i got a mercedes tiktok on my fyp about it the other day) or hijacking terms (shipping names (infamous ferrari tweets), nicknames (estie bestie)...) or generally just trying so hard to blend in with stan communities. pr teams try to change the way viewers interact with racing: you dont root for a racer, you root for a person. the competition for likeability is much more insidious than the actual racing but i personally believe that it's there and purposefully fed into by teams. disliking a driver on the basis of his personality therefore allows criticism of his personality the same way you'd criticize his driving. does this make any sense at all!

#rambling going on tangents. my bad. i have a lot of thoughts on this #on the second part: im not into marketing or advertisment or whatever. so i dont get the *why* theyre doing it #especially since i dont think viewer support plays into anything in their favor #MIGHT have to do with sponsorships. it's the thing that would make most sense to me.#But yeah. collateral damage etc #disheartening to see drivers get the brunt of it but what can we do #asks

think AI, Cloud, idk, if youre in something not IT im sure you know some as well.

and, its frustrating to me, because i like, know what these mean, sensibly

but theres a common use understanding that is like one specific facet and its just, yeah youre *right* but also you dont really understand the ways youre right, and its not your fault and you cant nessecarily

People are in general, disillusioned and claim that abstaining or not, voting with their wallets don't work.

But, they forget that engagement matters, and the real non-fungible token is your attention. Re-releases and installments are ultimately just attention grabbers, and by and large, the true "manspreaders" of media in the sense that they prevent actual new content from claiming space, and new creators to push new ideas.

So what to do about shitty/problematic media?

Well, considering the ethics, in this specific case of Hogwarts Legacy;

Buying to-then stream the game, even if donating the money does not rid your hands of the fact that you contributed to stochastic terrorism in your home territory (not to dismiss off-region tragedies, they deserve their own space). So simply put, your money went into the pockets of people who use fear and hate to restrict LGBTQ+ rights, and by extension, your rights (it starts somewhere, you know it). It sucks but your allyship is rescinded, sorry hun.

You could here, refund the game once you learned to do better, but then, you have already given attention and time to this.

So what then? Well, honestly if you want to be an egotistical prick and still play the game, do it. Don't act like playing a morally vague card removes you from being held accountable. The argument that you are "supporting" developers is moot, the only thing you are supporting is upholding your skinnerbox of self-gratification, while trying to hold face. Piracy could be an option if you dont want to pay, but streaming is still off-limits, displaying the media might put you in criminal trouble but you are removed from the financial-foodchain. However, you are still trading your attention-NFTs away.

It's here I'm reminded about an article in how Russia supposedly has weaponized social media to divert attention (Fri Tanke, Sans #3, 2022). And honestly, you can see it happening all over the web. MAPs claiming they belong in the LGBTQ+ community, the far right racking down on drag queens, terfs against transpeople, gamergate, r/animetitties now publishing news etc. The tactic is as old as rocks, to "divide and conquer". I would honestly call it divide and divert – much like how pickpocketers in the street are in groups of 2; one to distract, one to pilfer. You simply aren't aware it's happening.

With this in mind, I propose the following tactic instead of posting spoilers, instead of taking the piss out on disillusioned fans and instead of perhaps, maybe converting one; get to cash in on the attention NFTs.

What I mean with that is, simply, hijack the conversation, don't engage with people – let them engage with you, simply divert attention – if they can be distracted, you win. The new currency is hype and attention, you might get far instigating hate, but your speech-checks will fail more often if you aren't some top of the line salesman.

Hashtags are the modern way to sift through content, and the algorithm can be manipulated. It's theoretically possible to use the same means the right has used on twitter; taking the hashtags and keywords to divert attention elsewere. Let others instigate if they want, but add to the noise by drowning out the potterheads with irrelevant media and attention grabs. You've seen it happen with the Tate circus, you know it works.

It's effective and likely less chance to fail. And sure, some people will insist being a potterhead is do or die, that they deserve to have their inner-child make-a-wish dreams of the Nth HP game be fullfilled. So let them be that sour kid then, playing with their toys, in their own sandbox. A self-serving person is as likely to want to engage in topics on ethics, as a grouchy toddler to eat their veggies. You aren't looking to divert their attention, you wanna divert the others that are open to it. And if Jackson Galaxys theory is true; a no must be followed with a yes.

So instead of playing Hogwarts Legacy, I suggest;

this could be somewhat late but in response to your ’nmlnm’ post and whether it is exclusionary, i’d like to let you know that it’s sometimes not preferred because it implies that men cannot be lesbians, and this goes for the regard where non-binary men (especially those who are multigender and identify as other genders alongside being men) identify with the lesbian label. i dont think the focus should be put on whether they are men specifically, however this statement implies that multigender lesbian men cannot be lesbians because they are men, which could be harmful (unsure if this is helpful to add but i am saying this as a boygirl lesbian so i’m not just some binary person/a non-lesbian throwing this at you to be annoying /gen) your point is understandable, though! lesbians should not be forced to like men and that should be acknowledged. i am also not stating you have to like multigender lesbians or people in general because they identify as men too, that is not on me to be bitchy about! i would simply like to inform you of this, and i do not mean harm in sending this. if you are already aware of it then i apologize! you can ignore my ask or delete if you feel intruded upon by this, that is up to you

I dont want to hijack that post about being a diaspora kid and mourning the loss of connection to your ancestral culture and feeling lost trying to connect to it as an adult but I want to say that I too, feel that, as a plain fucking white American. I mean I guess my ancestors were German and English and Scottish but no one in living memory in my family has any connection to that. I'm part of the dominant culture. I'm part of the culture that consumes and I don't feel connected to it and I have nothing to reconnect with. Capitalism is destroying community.

Also I'm okay! I've been spending a weekend out of state with my friends of many years, having a lot of fun! Because of that, I'm also unaware of what you mean? Attacks? Did something happen? If you mean run of the mill anon hate, I can handle that lol. I've been dealing with that for years and years.

I can't understand why harmless interest in a horror trope and indulgence through the safety of harmless fiction earns hate in some people's eyes. The only exception would be properties that write these tropes and mentalities as if they're healthy, or something you should desire in your real life. I'm certainly not the kind of person to go spouting that fiction doesn't affect reality, because the tone and intent of your project can make a world of difference in the message it puts across. But since all of the projects I know of and follow are tagged as horror, and the creators I've spoken to have been considerate, thoughtful and responsible, I would think that implies a level of self awareness that wouldn't suggest that anyone means to promote or justify toxic relationship dynamics like that. Nowhere is writing a dark story inherently equivalent to endorsing it. Even if there's porn in it. And anyone who enjoys it through the safe lens of fiction and fantasy, as long as they understand that fact, isn't hurting anyone. It's like reading a raunchy novel about having sex with a stranger, without all the dangers that come with doing that in the real world. That's part of the reason these accounts do not want minors interacting with their projects. A young and impressionable mind can wildly misinterpret these stories if distributed or consumed irresponsibly, and the results can be catastrophic. Nobody I know of in this community wants to endanger young audiences, and the bad actors that do are swiftly called out and cast out, plain and simple. As someone who's never been able to stomach keeping quiet about people pulling sick shit, I like it that way.

I wrote a thesis back in school about the dangers of romanticizing abusive and toxic relationships, so I feel like I know what I'm talking about; but even still I am always open to considering new opinions and concerns, of course. I'm also free to disagree with you. And in the first place, if you are uncomfortable with the subject matter, I urge you to not expose yourself to it in the first place! I don't mean that in a "Haha, I'm ✨problematic✨, dont like it? leave." type of way, either. Shutting out criticism entirely is never wise. What I mean is simply that you should never worsen your mood or mental state for something that's just not your cup of tea! Horror isn't for everyone! Erotica isn't for everyone! And that's perfectly fine! I don't want you here if you're not going to enjoy yourself! My main goal in all of this is to make something fun and creepy for others who like fun and creepy things to sink their teeth into, but I can't and won't do that unless I can do so responsibly and respectfully. I'm never justifying these behaviors, and I'm certainly NEVER trying to encourage anyone to seek relationships like these out. If anything, I'd hope the narrative I intend to weave with Parasocialite would portray the fear and the horrors of it realistically. I definitely don't want rose tinted glasses to be on for the experience.
